All over Storybrooke, the breaking of the curse shook up people's lives. The Thorne family woke up suddenly to the fact that Bella wasn't their daughter and the lawsuit to take her off life support was quickly forgotten. Princess Aurora raced across town to reunite her with her wife and brother-in-law, Mulan and Ah Ping. Ruth was horrified when she realized she had spent nearly thirty years married to the man who had wanted to kill her son, and King George was likewise disgusted. When Nagaraj regained his memories, he abruptly left work to find his wives, Rose Red and Ye Xian, and their daughter, Ella. Meanwhile, at Granny's diner, Red and Ye Xian were astonished to suddenly remember their past lives, and that somehow they, along with Nagaraj, had become a family again without even knowing they were married. Although she wanted to go find her husband, Red knew she had to find the rest of her family to make sure they were okay.

Greta had just been discharged from the hospital when Emma noticed Killian arriving at the hospital. Elated, she greeted him with a warm hug. "Greta's okay, the curse is broken!" she told him excitedly.

Killian smiled, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. "I'm glad your little girl is alright. I just wish I could have been there for you."

Emma noticed his sadness, but decided it would be better to talk about it in a more private setting. Besides, she had to get her kids home and deal with Regina once and for all. When she and her family - her parents, her kids, and her boyfriend - walked out of the hospital, a massive explosion rocked Storybrooke. The sound sent Emma's ears ringing and caused the children to loose their footing. They looked around for the cause of the explosion, then noticed that it came from the direction of Regina's mansion. Instantly, Emma felt her stomach tighten in dread.

"I think something happened with Regina," Emma announced. She glanced to Henry, to judge his reaction. His face had gone pale in shock, his expression one of unmasked fear. "Killian, do you mind taking the kids somewhere safe while my parents and I check this out?"

"Of course not," Killian kissed her forehead.

"Actually Emma," Snow replied. "I need to get back to check on your brothers."

"My what?" Emma cried.

"They're in the book," Snow explained. "The Seven Dwarves-"

"-who got turned into kids, so you and David adopted them," Emma remembered.

"Our sons are okay?" David asked.

"They were there when I got home to get Gretel's clothes. It turns, the curse turned them into our pet birds."

"I should be more shocked," Emma noted, "but this is already been such a crazy day."

"You guys and check out the explosion, but I need to get back to the boys. Emma, we'll introduce you to them later."

Killian shepherded Henry, Hansel, and Greta into his car, against Henry's protestations that he needed to be there to see what happened to his adopted mother. With Snow on her home to tend to her sons, Emma and David raced to the mansion, only to greeted by a horrible sight. The explosion had a blast it away a large hole in the front of the building, scorching a huge circular area in front of what used to be the front door. The flames rise high, obscuring their sight, and the thick, noxious smoke assaulted their noses. Emma was glad she had the forethought to send the kids away because this sight surely would have traumatized them. An angry mob had formed outside Regina's house and they had all been burned and blasted. The sight of their bodies made Emma sick with horror and grief. Already Snow is on the phone with the fire department.

"What the hell happened?" David asked, more as an expression of shock than a genuine question.

Emma cannot tear her eyes away from the horrible scene as her brain began to fill in the blanks of what likely took place. With everyone having their memories restored, they would have known that the Evil Queen was responsible for their Decades of suffering. That's why they had come to Regina's. With her magic restored and her life on the line...

Something must have gone wrong. Emma could not see anything resembling Regina, but her eyes went to be blackened ruin where the front door used to be. She didn't know much about explosions or arson, but Emma was willing to bet her life savings that Regina had once stood there and had been obliterated by the explosion. She couldn't tell if Regina had done it or someone else had taken fiery revenge against her, but Emma could imagine how that last conference probably went down.

She hated with Regina, but part of her was still horrified by the way things that happened. Somehow it had never occurred to her to want Regina dead. She wanted Regina to suffer all the horrible things she had put Emma and her family and all the residents of Storybrooke through, but she never imagined something like this.

"What are going to tell Henry," Emma thought aloud. "All the people who died, their loved ones..." She thought of the people who had just broken free of their curse, who had just tasted freedom for the first time in so long, to have that taken away so suddenly and violently.

"I know," David muttered, letting Emma lean against him for support. "But we're gonna get to the bottom of this."

Killian took the kids to Granny's, because he knew that was probably the safest place for them right now and it was on the other side of town from Regina's home. While they were frustrated with not having any answers, Henry, Hansel, and Gretel didn't disobey them. Inside, the diner was nearly deserted apart from Granny Lucas, Ye Xian, Nagaraj, and little Ella, who were huddled together in the back speaking in low tones.

"Killian," Granny rose, "Have you seen Snow and David, or Emma?"

"They were alright the last I saw them," Killian explained. "David and Emma went to investigate an explosion. Snow when back to her apartment to look after her boys."

"The boys are okay?" Ye Xian's dark eyes lit up. "When I realized we hadn't seen them at all while we were under the curse, we began to fear the worse."

"They were here the whole time," Killian told her. "They were...birds. Regina's got a real sick sense of revenge. Where's Rose Red?"

"She went to find Snow, David, and Emma." Nagaraj explained. "I hope they'll be okay."

"I'm sure they will be Uncle Nagaraj. Our family's pretty tough," Henry replied confidently.

Nagaraj, Ye Xian, and Granny looked completely stunned by Henry's declaration and Killian suddenly remembered that the three of them were completely in the dark about to Henry being Emma's son and Emma being Snow and David's daughter.

"Right, we've got a lot of explaining to do."
