Henry bounced his baby cousin in his lap all the adults were all on the phone trying to make sense of the chaos. Granny was keeping an eye on all the people who had come into the diner simply because they didn't know where else to be. Ye Xian, Nagaraj, and Killian were making tons of phone calls to figure out what was going on in town. Emma and Charming were still investigating the strange explosion as far as he could tell. Snow was home taking care of her many sons. He didn't have much experience with babies, but Ella didn't seem to mind. She was content to just laugh and droll all over herself.

"You've had her for ages, it's my turn," Gretel complained. Hansel nodded in confirmation. When Henry handed Ella to Gretel, the baby grabbed a bunch of the older girl's hair and stuffed it into her mouth. "That's not a snack," Gretel laughed, calling the strands of hair from Ella's grasp.

Henry laughed along with her. He was still trying to get used to the idea of having siblings since he had spent the entire childhood as an only child. Even when he pictured Emma being his mom, he pictured just the two of them, not the two of them plus a brother and sister. While it felt kind of weird do you think of Hansel and Gretel as his brother and sister, it certainly was not an unwelcome feeling. In just a few hours, his family had bloomed from just Regina, to a huge collection of people.

Nagaraj, Ye Xian, and Granny had been stunned when Henry and Killian explained that he was Emma's long-lost son, stolen at birth and hidden by a memory curse, but they accepted him with open arms almost immediately afterward. It took just as little time for them to accept Hansel and Gretel knowing that Emma plan to adopt them and already considered them her kids.

And there were still so many people to meet. Aunt Red, Snow's sister; though he had met her as Ruby Lucas, he still didn't know her underneath the cursed persona Regina had created for her. The Seven Dwarfs, who he figured were his uncles despite the fact that they were a few years younger than him. That was a pretty stranger thought. Prince Charming's mother too, his great-grandmother, who he really didn't know that much about because she wasn't in the book that much. He'd read about all of them in his book, but that didn't mean he really knew them. Henry suddenly felt nervous, wondering if all of them would like him. Maybe he was being silly, because the family members he had met seem to like him just fine, but there was still some little part of him that worried no matter how he tried to reassure himself.

He was anxious to see Emma again. They had been on the way to forming a close relationship before the curse broke and Emma realized that Henry was her son. If he was supposed to be living with her now, things might change and he hoped those changes would be good. Certainly it would be different from living with Regina. There was also the question of how Hansel and Gretel would fit into all this. They were his friends and he was happy they were going to be sharing a moment. Still...

Ye Xian took Ella from Gretel. Henry hadn't noticed, because he was so deep in thought, but the baby had fallen asleep in her arms.

Killian put a hand on Henry's shoulder, "You all right kiddo?"

For moment part of him thought about saying he was and leaving it at that, but he decided against it, "I have a lot on my mind."

"That's not surprising," Killian replied kindly. "It's certainly been an eventful day. If you want to talk about it, I'm all ears."

"Mostly I just want to talk to my mom," Henry responded. Killian nodded, not taking any offense. "But... Did you have any brothers or sisters?"

Killian went still, and for a moment Henry feared he'd upset him, but Killian adopted a neutral expression and nodded. "Yes. Two brothers, one I grew up with and one I didn't."

Henry decided not to further his line of questioning. "Oh. Okay."

"C'mon lad, I know that's not all you wanted to ask me," Killian said gently. "Go ahead. I didn't have the most conventional upbringing, i'd be happy to help if I can."

"What's it like? Having a sibling?"

Killian paused to consider his words, "Well, that depends on a lot of stuff. My brother Liam and I were as close as two boys could be. He was my role model, my protector, and my best friend. I separated from him once, and when I found him again it felt like everything in the world was right. I never wanted to leave his side. He... uhm... He passed along time ago and I still think about him a lot. I wouldn't trade potatoes I had with him for anything. My other brother, the one I didn't grow up with... That's not the most pleasant thing to think about. He's here but..."

"Wait, your second brother is here?" henry interrupted. "In Storybrooke?"

"He is now." Killian replied cryptically. "I haven't had much contact though. It would probably be easier to avoid him, pretend he didn't exist, but I wouldn't be right. That's not fair to him. I can't imagine we'll ever have the kind of relationship I had with Liam, but I should at least try. A work in progress is better than nothing, I suppose."

Henry smiled at Killian. "I hope you and your brother work things out."

"As do I. Why are you asking. Is this about Hansel and Gretel?"

Henry nodded. "They're my mom's other kids, which means they're my brother and sister now. Even before the curse broke I was afraid of Emma loving them more and what that would mean for me. I don't want her to not love them. I don't know."

"Sometimes it's okay to do not now," Killian told him, "as long as you and the people you love are willing to figure things out together."

Henry felt a lot better after that conversation. "I think I'm ready to do that."
