We gathered in the vast and spacious training room within the Capsule Corporation main headquarters. I stood firmly before the presence of hundreds of my descendants as they waited for my signal for them to attack me.
"This is going to be a lot different from how I trained you in martial arts before." I declared in a loud, imperious voice. "As this is a more serious matter because the Earth's fate is going to be in your shoulders, I will train you this time to become true warriors! If I used to coddle you during your basic martial arts training, this time I won't be as soft just because you are my descendants! No, it's because you are my descendants that I shall be harsher upon you all! Just because I will be holding back my powers doesn't mean I won't fight back and be gentle on you! You better prepare yourselves for a brutal training this time! I will be training you until you puke blood! Think of your mates, your families, things that you cared for. You are doing this for their safety so you can protect them from any threat that may come. I will not allow cowardice and hesitation! I know that you can do this. Believe in your own strength. That is the true essence of what Saiyan Pride is. Got that?!"
"Yes!" my descendants responded as if they're my soldiers instead of my family.
"Now, let's begin."
They fell into their personal stances, including Jii. The boy was trained by me, Boksa and Blum with basic martial arts, but then unlike the rest of his family, his power hasn't shown up yet. Despite that, he joined his mother and grandfather to go up against me. My descendants' normal human mates watched on the lookout above the room, most of them I could sense were worried and somehow, devastated about what I just revealed earlier. I told them to never interfere with this no matter what happens because the fate of the Earth would depend on the strength and skills of my descendants so I had to push them to their absolute limit.
"Now, come at me with all you got! Despite this being just training, do not think of it as one. Attack me with an intent to kill! Treat me as if I am the threat planning to destroy this planet! Do it, now!"
"Daaaaah!"
With a unified yell, they charged at me altogether. I noticed that aside from Jii, they have greatly enhanced combinations of hand-to-hand combat and along with their newfound strength, allowed their technique to be powerful enough to effectively topple the likes of Tienshinhan, Yamcha and Krilin of my time, despite not being able to use ki enhanced attacks yet. They are most certainly above humans but the lack of proper training made them constantly flail around, giving them several openings to their disadvantage. I remember the time when Whis pointed out Kakarot's weakness.
With a swift dash they probably didn't have any chance to see, I hit them all accordingly to their openings. In two seconds, they all fell defeated on the floor.
"How's that?" I asked them coldly.
"That hurt..." Blum complained with a grimace.
"I know. Now, get up." I ordered.
They all struggled to get up on their two feet.
"Come on now, losers! How pathetic! I didn't even hit you that hard enough to crumple you!" I growled impatiently at them.
"Nngh..."
"Remember that pain and let it remind you of your first failure. The spot where I just hit you revealed your weakness due to a careless opening in your fighting styles. Create a counterplan to cover up that weak spot you have and recreate your fighting style using that."
"Un... Understood."
"Now then..." I raised my hand and beckoned at them to attack me once more. "Let's get down to business and continue. Come!"
They charged once more, keeping an eye to that spot where I just hit them. Jii didn't attack, he simply watched in awe as we engaged in hand to hand combat. I effortlessly blocked all of their swift attacks for a few moments before I strike at them with a single push of my two fingers. They fell on the Eva enhanced foam floor with a grimace.
"What's the matter? Is it over already? Stand up and let me show you how a real warrior fights!" I taunted.
Just as earlier, they all struggled. I sighed impatiently.
"Come on! This isn't even a warm up! Surely you are more competent than this. I'm not even trying!" I said in a boring tone as I watched each of them shook on their hands and feet on the floor below me. I could hear their teeth chattering while they let out whines and painful groans through it.
They did their best to stand on their two feet. Such pathetic weaklings. I cannot believe how much unprepared these fools are. It was my fault for spoiling them too much due to the peace I gave them all these years.
I pondered about something to motivate them. If a simple thought about their loved ones being in danger won't help them perhaps showing them my transformations would do the trick. Or...
For some reason, the other thought made me feel doubtful. I didn't really wish to do this but there's no other way. Power comes in response to a need and I hope that by doing this would awaken more power within these fools.
I made up my mind. I decided I will push through this without any doubt or hesitation. Not even guilt.
I am the God of Destruction after all.
"Listen here." I announced as I crossed my arms over my chest. "After all these years, no one among you has seen this, though I have told you stories about it in the past. Remember how pure blooded Saiyans like myself relied on the power of our transformations."
I let out my tail, something I have never shown to anyone of them. I would usually hide it behind the sash around my waist or under the cloak of my disguise. Their eyes almost bulge out of their eye sockets when they saw the brown furred tail that lazily waved behind my legs.
"All pure blooded Saiyans and our half breed children had a tail like this which allows us to transform into the Oozaru after staring at the full moon or absorbing a specific amount of special green spectrum radiation we called as 'Blutz waves' through our retinas. I guess it is more akin to the werewolf transformations you see in the movies and television series. It gave us a boost in our raw strength, multiplying our powers to ten times that of our base power. However, that's in exchange of becoming a rampaging, mindless giant monkey with an uncontrollable desire for bloodshed and destruction. However, being the Saiyan Prince, I can control myself and my powers perfectly fine.
"When I was still a mortal, I lost my tail after my first battle on Earth against Kakarot and his friends. Since then, my rising ki levels due to continuously fighting and training in harsh conditions gave my body the sense of not needing this tail any longer. That's why it never grew back until I became the God of Destruction.
"One day, I found myself at my limit. I couldn't get any stronger than I was at that time. No matter what I did, I just cannot achieve the legendary power that I want and was destined for me to grasp. I was a Super Elite Saiyan royalty after all. We Saiyans live by searching and gaining strength. And due to my own frustrations of my inability of becoming stronger any longer and without other means of outlet for the rage that I felt, my body underwent the Legendary transformation of the Super Saiyan."
I flexed my arms on my sides and instantly transformed into my Super Saiyan form. The pressure I emanated pushed my descendants a few steps back, some even fell on their behind as they all stared at me in awe. I was bathed with the ethereal golden aura of the legendary transformation I just casually performed.
"What power!" they gasped in disbelief.
"This is called the Super Saiyan. The legendary transformation that was passed down as a myth among generations of the Saiyan Warrior race. It was believed that only one Super Saiyan appears every three thousand years, yet, we eventually discovered that it is not the case. Anyone with Saiyan blood can achieve this transformation so long as they meet the required conditions. Rage is the common trigger to such power but possessing a pure heart and a desperate need also adds up to the list."
I crouched down into my signature fighting stance. A more serious countenance took over me.
"Becoming a Super Saiyan would always make me a little more violent. Crushing you won't take long. Now, come at me seriously or I am going to kill you!"
Nobody dared to stand up and fight. It irked me so much that I allowed myself to be taken over by my urge to spill blood. With speed faster than what any of them had imagined, I proceeded to violently beat the living daylights upon each of them.
"Whether you were born a weakling fool or a powerful genius like myself, Saiyans grow stronger every time we fight or whenever we are cornered in extreme situations! If you truly wish to achieve such power, then focus on that desire and you will have no limits! Fight until you are at the inch of your life! Only then you will grow as a true warrior and awaken that innate power sleeping inside of you!"
With a burst of energy, blue bioelectricity began to flash around the spiking golden aura around my body and I transformed into my Super Saiyan 2 state.
"I have never raised you all to become such pathetic fools! What are you all doing not fighting back?!" I scolded. "Do you honestly think I will show you any mercy? I told you this! I will not allow you to lose to any threat!"
As I continue to give them the beating of the lifetime, I sensed their mates' worry and they pleaded for me to stop.
"Stop it! Please, Vegeta-sama! I think this is too much!" Mei cried out.
"I told you to never stop me!" I roared as I sent a powerful gust of wind in their direction. The screams of their terror made my descendants stare at me in utter disbelief.
"Why? Vegeta-sama... How could you?" Boksa muttered in disbelief.
Pantus, seeing his beloved Mei and their child on the floor, shouted back, "What the hell is wrong with you, Vegeta-sama?!"
I tried my best not to show any remorse by maintaining my heartless countenance. Although I could feel that deep inside of me, I felt like I wanted to hit myself for such a reckless act. But if this will push them to become strong, then it would be worth it.
"Stand up!" I abruptly yelled at them with a loud, imperious voice and as if their butts were pricked by needles, they quickly pushed themselves up. While on their feet and carefully cradling the damage I did to them, they trembled in pain. I could also sense a wave of disbelief and fear across them. Pantus and Boksa had a mixture of astonishment and grief in them. Blum was protecting her son, embracing Jii protectively in her arms as if to cover his eyes from such a violent act. I prefer her not to do so. Protecting the boy like that would only hinder him from his true potential. It is only right that Jii witness such violence so he would have a reason to fight on his own. After all, I believe that among my descendants, he is the one with the most potential.
"What are you going to do now, Pantus?" I asked. "What are you going to do if that wave of power I sent in their direction killed them in an instant? There is no one to blame but your own weakness. No threat or enemy would ever hold back on you. An enemy will make use of those you hold dear against you for they could become your greatest weakness. However, as I said before, you can prove this idealogy wrong because you can use this weakness as a source of your great strength. It will only be up to you how you will use such bonds."
Pantus couldn't contain himself. Perhaps, he was thinking that his wife and infant child were dead. In fact, they are not. I was only trying to make him think that way to help him become what he is meant to be. I could see his eyes begin to water as he glared at me with a dark, seething fury brewing within his round, blue eyes.
"Shut up... You... How dare you..." Pantus seethed.
Sensing his power level rise at the fury that was boiling within him, I slowly gave him a cruel, evil smile as I continued to mock him.
"What's the matter now? Do you feel fury? Betrayed? You should take a good look at yourselves. If I was the threat and I was being serious, then everyone of you are going to be dead on the spot!"
"I said shut up!" Pantus snapped and he kicked off with an explosion of power from where he stood, attacking at me blindly with a potent punch. Before that punch landed, I saw his hair and eyes change color. His dark brown hair flashed a golden light while his eyes glowed a jade green. The blood of the Legendary Super Saiyan awakened within him.
"Pantus!" Boksa, Blum and the rest of them gasped at his sudden transformation.
Pantus, blinded by his rage, threw his punch towards me. I blocked the potentially deadly hit with my hand effortlessly. Unable to land his hit, Pantus threw several more punches and kicks. I guess he could be compared to a wild animal when he valiantly tries to hit me with whatever he could.
Among the flurry of attacks Pantus was flailing at me, I decided to let one punch slide through my defenses and it hit me hard squarely on my face. That lucky hit was enough to make him stop. I glared at him with narrowed eyes that would have made anyone across the universe make a run for their dear lives.
"He did it!" cheered Jii in the corner.
"Look at that. It seems you manage to land a hit. That's good. Now do not ever forget that feeling." I said as if congratulating him on a job well done. He simply glared at me, his teeth clenched so hard as he tried to contain the excitement brought forth by his new transformation.
He let out a cocky grin. I frowned at such act, unimpressed by such audacity of him thinking he's already strong enough by just transforming into a Super Saiyan and I grabbed the wrist of the fist on my face.
"Don't get so cocky now, you little shit... I told you I'm still holding back. My full power is much, much more than this. But this doesn't mean I'm going to go easy on you! I am going to train you all until you are near death's door!"
"Wha... What?!" he muttered breathlessly. As if sensing danger, he tried to pull his hand away but I grabbed his wrist even tighter.
With a swift punch to his solar plexus, I knocked the Super Saiyan out of Pantus and he was sent flying towards the other side of the room, crushing against the thick metallic wall.
A rage filled howl reverberated from Boksa and Blum upon seeing Pantus knocked out cold on the floor. Both father and daughter charged at me together, leaving a confused and terrified Jii in the corner. I made quick work at both of them and so as the others who dared to attack me.
"Seriously? Is that it? And you dare call yourselves my descendants?! I do not remember raising such weaklings! Get up and fight me! Fight me with an intent to kill me!"
This time, nobody was able to stand up any longer. I spat on the ground in bitterness.
"What an embarrassment. My descendants being this pathetic. I'm ashamed on all of you."
"Whis!" I called my guide angel before me.
Whis appeared out of thin air behind me and asked, "Yes, milord?"
"Heal these weaklings for me." I ordered him impatiently.
"As you wish, milord." Whis said. He pointed the crystal of his angelic staff towards my descendants and they were all magically healed in an instant after a flash of white light go through them.
My descendants, confused and unable to believe what just happened, refused to look at me. Was it shame or fear that made them this timid? I can't believe this! How could my own descendants dwindle to such cowards and weaklings. It's aggravating me!
Whis walked up to me and he leaned down to whisper to my ear. "Don't you think you are a little too harsh at them, milord? I mean, they're for most part, humans. They may have awakened part of their Saiyan powers but it doesn't mean they will quickly catch up on what you expected them to be."
"I know about that, Whis." I told him in a low voice. "I am merely using this as a chance to see what they are truly capable of. Showing them my ruthless side is a provocation to see how much potential they have. And besides, if anything regrettably happens during this training, then you can always do that for me."
"Aren't you a little too dependent on that technique?"
"Hmph!" I snorted at him.
"Ten minutes then."
"Ten minutes is more than enough for me."
I walked away from my angel and called the attention of my foolish descendants.
"Alright. That's it. Enough of this." I growled. "It seems you fools won't make any progress until I really do make you suffer. I think you've held me on quite a high regard and assume that just because you are my family, I was going to go easy on you. I guess it's my fault for spoiling you, little brats."
I let out a wide, evil grin. My sight tainting with crimson, letting out my inner Saiyan drive, the savage side of me.
"Hehehe... Fine. Let me show you why I'm always feared across the entire universe! Prepare yourselves and witness the overwhelming power of the Saiyan who became the most powerful deity of this entire universe!"
I released my godly powers, engulfing my body with the crimson flame of the Saiyan Warrior deity within me.
"You fools don't know anything, do you? I hope that's enough handicap for you, holding back for your sake is a big mistake. If you think I cared that much about you, then you are wrong! Because now, I'm going to go all out! And I will show you my true nature!"
With a massive explosion of ki, I began to power up, unleashing my divine powers as the God of Destruction and inducing a massive catastrophe across the planet. My aura reduced the roof in a burst of destructive energy and I floated in the air, howling as my body was enveloped with a devastating purple aura. Lightning flashed across the dark thunderclouds above the skies as if to hail my divine presence.
My voice rang across the city as I declared, "I've killed people, hundreds of trillions to count. Men, women, children. They were all slaughtered by my hand. I showed them no mercy. I have destroyed planets, entire galaxies even, for much less. I was the Legendary Destroyer of Worlds, feared by entire civilizations across the universe. It was my destiny to rise and become the God of Destruction of this universe. I wouldn't become one if I was a weak, spineless brat like you."
Invoking my Hakaishin form, I ended my power up with a burst of my aura into the skies.
"This is my true form, the God of Destruction, Vegeta-sama!"
Everybody stared at me in both awe and fear, unable to comprehend what they are actually witnessing. A literal god being in their presence.
I raised my chin, looking down at the simple-minded mortals before me.
"Now that you know what you are up against. You should prepare yourselves. This is a serious situation now because I will be the threat to this planet! I won't tolerate any failure here! If you want to save your precious little planet from my wrath, then you better give it everything you got! Even if it means fighting to death! If you don't, then I am going to destroy you all! This isn't training any longer, this is war!" I declared.
"The time has come to release all that Saiyan power sleeping within you! I will make it happen no matter what it takes... Even if I have to reduce this entire planet to atoms! Your naivete makes me sick! If what you are showing me is the full extent of your abilities then you disappoint me!"
I let out an evil grin, showing off the fearsome, ruthless side that they have never seen in me.
"Did you honestly believe I would go through my words of holding back my full power on you? Hahahaha! Foolish mortals! If this is all you've got, then... You fools are not even worthy to continue living in this world."
My descendants stared with absolute terror as I unleashed my powers as the God of Destruction. I saw my cruel reflection through their wide, terrified eyes. My dark hair had glowing purple highlights as my violet eyes glared at each of them, as if I was deciding their grim fate.
"In order to awaken your true power, you have to recreate yourselves from scratch. With a circumstance that threatens to destroy your lives and your world, you are no longer a spoiled human who can live peacefully like you used to be! You shall become warriors who must protect this world from anyone who would dare to destroy it! And if you cannot do that, then you all deserved to be destroyed by my hand! In order for you to grasp that fate, you have to forget what you are and accept your destiny as protectors of this world. Destroy any stray thoughts and recreate yourselves from scratch. Before creation, destruction must come first!"
I took off into the skies and begin to charge my destructive ki, creating a massive sphere capable of destroying the entire Earth.
"Wait, Vegeta-sama! Stop! You can't be serious about destroying the planet!" Boksa cried out.
"You're damned right I am! I would rather destroy you incompetent fools than suffer the humiliation of the fact that my own descendants became this useless!"
"But we just told you we are no match against you!"
"Then you are all fools!" I roared. The sphere I was forming in my hand grew larger in size. "If you are going to give up because of that kind of mindset, how do you expect to survive a bigger threat?! Are you all willing to die and be destroyed without a fight?! How dare you call yourselves my descendants?! Where the hell is the pride I taught you all these years?!"
Without hesitation or regret, I hurled the destructive sphere into the Earth, much to my descendants' astonishment.
"Strength is the only thing that matters in this world. The strong stands above and conquers all while the weaklings shall perish. If you don't have what it takes to protect this world with your own strength, then it will all fall to oblivion by the hands of anyone who threatens it. And because of this, you all deserve to be destroyed. There is no place for the useless weaklings in this universe." I muttered this mostly to myself.
In a world where strength is the only thing that matters, being good or evil has no meaning at all. I was neither good nor evil in the first place. I do whatever I want. There is only creation and destruction in this world... But before creation happens, destruction must come first. There is a line in between being good and evil. One's continuous existence should be justified by the way they live. If one deserves mercy, then they shall be given the chance to change their ways by guiding them on how they must destroy their previous views and recreate them into something that would help them reach their true potential. If one fool deserves to be destroyed after being given a chance, then they will be shown no mercy or hesitation when it comes to bestowing my divine punishment upon them. It was a lesson my predecessor, Beerus, imparted me during my training to become a Hakaishin.
That's why I made this choice. In order to help my descendants awaken them to their true potential, I had to show them no mercy at all. If they managed to unleash their latent Saiyan powers and protect this world from me, then they deserve my mercy. If not, then this divine punishment I bestowed upon them shall destroy them and their beloved world. I'd rather have that than allowing that bastard Amanojaku eliminate them himself. It would save my pride from being tainted by such humiliation.
I watched intently, without remorse, at the sight of Earth as my sphere of destruction descend upon it and unleash the overwhelming wrath of a God of Destruction upon it. Deep in my heart, I was wishing for any glimmer of hope that I was wrong about my decision.
And then, my ki senses was alerted by the rapidly increasing energy levels I was beginning to feel on that planet.
"Hm?!"
Suddenly, several flashes of golden light erupted below and then a collective blast of energy exploded and clashed against my sphere of destruction.
I knew it!
Pride suddenly swelled on my chest. My eyes sparked with excitement as I feel those powers continue to rise.
I stretched out my hand towards my sphere, adding more devastating power into it. It effectively pushed the golden blast down, making them struggle. I could hear them scream down below. Howling as their legendary powers surge further beyond. Soon, blue electricity filled the city as they were all forced to transform into Super Saiyan 2.
Yet, despite that, it's not enough to completely overwhelm my attack.
Whis was behind me. "If you continue this milord, then they might not be able to survive."
"Then they all deserve to be destroyed." I responded coldly.
"Are you really sure about that?" my guide angel drawled. My eyes simply narrowed, feeling quite pissed off at his mockery.
With it, I added more power into my attack as if to prove my point. The screaming below intensified.
Whis shook his head as he sighed in despair. "You and your pride."
"Tch!"
I added another burst of power and then, it was all too much for my descendants to handle.
Suddenly, I felt a new energy awaken. A ki similar to that of a god. And what's strange about it is the fact that it felt eerily similar to my energy when I transform into a Super Saiyan god, somehow, if not for the faint taint of human energy in it.
The owner was able to vaporize my sphere of destruction with his own power.
This power? Is this..? What is the meaning of this?!
Powering down to my base form, I descended back to the ground to find Jii collapsing backwards. His mother caught him in her arms and he was peacefully snoring already, tired and all after that burst of power that he just unleashed.
I gazed down at my latest heir, unable to comprehend his sudden awakening. I knew I expected so much potential within the boy but what he showed me was more than what I thought he was capable of.
I raised my eyes to stare at my descendants. I guess Whis was right about me overdoing this. If this is all they have then I don't have any other choice. Their level of power really doesn't matter to me. It was their earlier lack of motivation to fight that irked me the most. My threat, like I mentioned earlier, was merely a test whether they are willing to fight and stand on their own to protect this world from the enemies. It's through that sheer motivation they could grasp unimaginable power within themselves.
And they perfectly showed that when they did their best to push my sphere of destruction earlier. With that, I was impressed and I decided to show them mercy.
After a lot of scolding, I finally gave them a genuine smile.
"Good. Very good. That's what I've been looking for this whole time. Well done." I announced.
"Eh? Vegeta-sama... You? Did you just..?"
Whis walked up to my side and explained on my behalf, "That is correct. Vegeta-sama deliberately acted as ruthless as he could in order to help you reach your true potential. I know he was scary when he did that, but trust me. It's just the way he trains people as always and it has been proven effective all throughout the years."
"Really? But what happens if Jii wasn't able to do that?" asked Boksa.
"Then you are going to receive your ancestor's divine punishment and might as well be destroyed."
"That's-!"
"That's just the way it is." I told them coldly. "There is no place for weaklings in my family."
"But..."
"It wasn't your capability to match me in power that I was looking for. I know that no matter what you do, you are no match against me." I explained. "It's your ability to stand on your own and fight to the death no matter the circumstances. Power isn't just about your physical strength or special ability. It also lies with your mental strength too. If you believe in your strength, whether it be your outer or inner strength, then you will not lose to anyone no matter what. Remember this is the meaning of the Saiyan Pride I taught you about. Whatever is in our minds and our hearts, whether it is our own motivation or for the sake of our loved ones, it's where our pride in ourselves come and it shall become the greatest source of our power. Do you get what I'm saying?"
They nodded in understanding, reluctantly.
"Good. Then from this day onward, your training will be entirely up to you. Remember what I always tell you. A massive power level doesn't matter if you flail around aimlessly. The only thing you need is your desire to become stronger no matter what for. Always stay calm in a fight, unclouded observation is the key to victory. We Saiyans get stronger the more we fight, you can always get stronger by training. If you want to improve, you have to develop a desire to do so. If you train and do anything to get stronger, your rise will be rapid. If you wish to become as powerful as I am, then focus on that desire and you will have no limits. I am certain you can do it. You have the potential in you. Know that when you are strong enough, you can make any wrongdoers everywhere fear you and your power. Do you understand?"
"Yes!"
"Good. Now, we're done here. I entrust the safety of this world to you, then." I said. I turned to Blum. "I am going to train Jii personally. I found the boy to be much different than all of you."
"You're not going to be that harsh to him, right?" Blum asked with a doubtful look.
I see she doesn't trust me just because of this incident. I rolled my eyes. "He can manage. The boy has more potential than I expected him to be. I cannot risk him losing control of his own powers and be a problem. Aside from that, Jii was more enthusiastic to become as strong as me more than any of you ever had. You should be proud."
"But..."
Blum's big blue eyes were filled with worry about her only child's safety. It reminded me of my wife's anxious look when I decided to train Trunks when he was a mere two year old boy.
"Vegeta! He is just a baby! What the hell are you thinking training him to become a monster at such a young age?!" that was what Bulma scolded me about as she held our infant son protectively in her arms.
My reaction back then was no different than what I feel about Blum right now. They were spoiling their children with being too protective about their safety. Both women had no problems with me training them proper martial arts discipline but anything harsher than that was way too much for them to allow.
I remember I made a point to Bulma about how Trunks should be trained on how he should properly control his own Saiyan strength, much unless she wanted the boy to accidentally kill the humans around him. This sort of overprotectiveness irked me back then. I cannot allow those who had my blood running through their veins be this spoiled.
I always believed that my offsprings had immense potential, but because I was always here along with Kakarot to protect the Earth, I didn't bother to push Trunks or even Bulla as much as I was doing to our descendants now.
If only I was not banned by Daishinkan from interfering with mortal matters due to being the God of Destruction, I would rather have them all have their usual peaceful lives. I would have no problem taking care of the threat by myself, I would protect this planet, this entire universe on my own with everything I got. This is the world that saved me from the darkness of my own past, that's why I am willing to save it just as how a certain woman on Earth saved me.
But...
But...
But...
This isn't the case now. With me and Kakarot not allowed to protect this world anymore, there is no other choice but to pass on the torch to all of you.
And Jii... Jii is the most promising one to pass on my will to.
Come to think of it, the coincidence of him being similar to myself is rather intriguing. We just don't look identical to each other, it seems he has almost the same fate as I did.
I wonder if Jii is...
Impossible!
"You have seen the boy's immense potential, woman. Worry not about him. He is my heir. And just like me when I was a child, he is the hope this planet got against any threat. I will train him well and make sure we will become proud of him."
To Blum, Jii is just a six year old child who will be forced to fight whatever threat will come to Earth. But then, being a six year old child possessing power greater than what I had at that age, I knew the boy can handle my training. Heck, he might even enjoy it.
And just as what my beloved Bulma told me when she realized my intentions, Blum said, "Come to think of it. Nana-chan is definitely like you. This boy was too proud for his own good. And after he declared how he knows our family's secret earlier, I saw his determination to be like you. Even as you trained us earlier, he had this excitement in his eyes. Unlike most of us who was terrified of what you might do after you showed us your powers as the God of Destruction of this Universe, he was amazed by it all. He was always a reckless child and he loved being a troublemaker. Of course, as his mother, I am worried about him. But if this is what my son wants, then I will support him. Please, Vegeta-sama. Take good care of him and train him well. I look forward to his growth."
"No problem. Rest assured that the boy will become a warrior. Do not forget your own training as well."
Blum reluctantly surrendered her son to me. I understood her worry. I encouraged her that if she wanted to protect the boy, then she must also train hard. It was enough to motivate her fighting spirit.
"I understand." she said.
"Very well." I said, taking the boy in my arms.
"Whis!" I called upon my guide angel once more.
"Yes, milord?" Whis responded.
"Fix this mess in here and let's go home. I shall take Jii with me." I ordered him.
"I understand."
With a wave of his angelic staff, Whis magically fixed the destruction we did on Earth. After that, I grabbed his shoulder, bid my farewell to my descendants.
"I shall see you when we return. Remember to train hard, okay?" I told them.
"Yes." they promised.
"Heh." I smirked at them, a silent message telling them that I believed in all of them and that I will be, and forever be, proud of them no matter what.
With that, Whis and I left the Earth, along with an unconscious Jii in my arms.
