Introducing:

Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) as Lord Capulet

Enchanted Forest

Many Years Ago

Juliet Capulet could recall when her current life as the adopted daughter of the Grand Master to the Templar Order started. She was born to a man called Malcom (she forgets her mother's name) and eldest sibling to a small boy called Rumple. She was almost nine years old when it changed for the street crook's daughter.

By day as her father swindled innocent passer-by's out of their hard out money, she spent the time stealing straight from their pocket while they weren't looking. While her little brother stayed by his father's side she roamed the street nearby looking for anything that might 'accidently' fall out of people's pockets.

The sweet innocent looking little red-haired girl would use her small hands to take pouches of coins, pocket watches and jewellery right from under their noses taking them to her Papa at the end of each day.

"Good work today, little bird" he would praise her with adoration and pride for her in his eyes. She would bring in twice the amount he would normally make in any one day.

But on bad day's she would take the man's anger on her cheek (quiet literally). She didn't mind as long as he didn't hurt little Rumple. That's all that mattered to the girl as she roamed the streets once again looking for anything that might slip into her hands. When her eyes found the almost bursting pouch that belonged to the Old Lion himself.

She remembered the Old Lion clearly. He wasn't old then, he was young but not old, handsome but worn, strong and ready to serve his Order in any way possible. Apprent heir to the Order his father had ran for decades. His armor should have deterred the young girl from even trying to steal from him. But the large velvet pouch that hung from his belt was too tempting to give up on be enough to satisfy her Papa's greed for this week alone.

He walked down the street with his head held up high as he spoke to a man in the same armor with swords strapped held perfectly in place. She knew they would be tricky, so she wait for her time to take them. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw her Papa with another 'customer' with Rumple sat beside him as she quickened her footsteps so that she was only mere feet away from the men.

The coin was only arms reach away, so near but still so far away. She couldn't get too carried away. She needed to concentrate until they got to a thicker part of the crowd. That's when she could make her move. And it was coming soon. The small crowd of people that would disguise her was fast approaching. This her one shot. Her only shot.

As she weaved through the crowd she reached out without the man noticing her presence gently grasping the red velvet pouch in her hand before giving it an even gently tug, freeing it from it's place on the man's belt. She was home free. It was heavier than she initially thought as she tried to move away only to find he couldn't. Panic struck her heart as she felt a strong grip on her arm that halted her movements as the man's green eye's met her own. He was angry, very angry.

"That's not yours girl"

She tried to get her small wrist out of his as he dragged her back through the crowd but his tight grip would leave a bruise as she barely felt her feet met the ground as the man brought her back to the square where her father was with Rumple as her small creams created a commotion. The crowd parted as the man in the armor looked around with his

"Who does this girl belong to!" he bellowed to the crowd as he continued to hold her up by her wrist. He had to give it to her, she tried her best to fight him off. The girl had more spirit than his own son did is his sort life. The spirit of a lion.

The crowd remained silent as he tried to seek out the girls parents until his eye caught of a man in tattered suit behind a small table with a small boy trying to hide from the angry men in armor that held his sister.

"Papa!" the girl called out for her father to rescue her "Papa!" she screeches out only for the man to ignore her again

The young lion looked between the girl and the man she was calling out to.

"Is she yours?" he asked the man trying his best not to make eye contact with him. Looking to his colleague giving him a sharp nod he steps towards the man throwing the table and its contents to the ground he was seized his arm pulling up his long sleeve to revel a card that had been hidden. Audible gasps were heard in the crowd.

"So, it isn't enough that you send your daughter to steal, you also cheat them out of their coin" the man that held her glowered at her Papa

"How many people here have been cheated out of their coin by this man?" the young lion bellowed to the people around them. After a beat about ten people held up their hand. By now the girl on his hand had stopped fighting as tears streamed down her cheeks "Coward" the lion gritted through his teeth as he dragged Juliet toward her father.

"How much?" the younger man asked her Papa

"For what?"

"The girl, how much is your daughter's life worth to you?"

"Papa no!" Rumple protested to his father

"Quiet boy!" Malcom snapped at his son "How much do you have?" the man inquired.

Scoffing at the man's question he grabbed the pouch of coin that sat on his belt that the girl had tried to steal earlier, throwing it in front of the girls father. Coin spilled out onto the cobble stone as his eye's lit up seeing the amount he was getting. And all for his Juliet

"Is that enough?"

"No" the young lion looked to his colleague again giving him a silent order he threw his own pouch to the ground. It was more than he or Juliet could make in a year

"She's yours" Malcom tells the men as his knee's drop to the ground to gather the money

"Her name?" he asked the sorry excuse of a man on the ground

"Juliet" he answered him without looking. With a humph he turned with the girl still in his hand and walked away from the crook and his son

"No! Papa! Rummy!" Juliet cried out once again

"From this day until your last you will be known as Juliet Capulet, daughter to Lord Tywin Capulet. The young lion. Do you understand?"

Years Later

The Jewel of the Realm was an impressive vessel to behold. It wasn't the biggest ship Juliet Capulet had come across, but it wasn't the smallest either. It was the pride of the King's fleet. Now a girl of nineteen, it had been twelve years since Lord Capulet bought her from her father. Her life had changed from a common thief to the daughter of an influential Lord and Grand Master to the Templar Order.

Slowly the young lion had turned into the old lion as he watched the girl he took in as his own turned into the young woman that was about to endeavor on her own for the Order. It was a shame she had to go away, but he her part to play to make sure the Brotherhood of Assassin's remembered their place in the world. He was the first Grand Master in centuries to keep the order on their knees, and they needed to stay that way long after he was dead and gone. And Juliet would play a big part in it as long as her mission went well.

He didn't like the idea of having her on ship full of sailors, but they weren't just any old sailors, they were the King's men, they would hold some sort of honor. If not, they knew there would be hell to pay if they ever returned. But he knew Juliet would be able to handle anything that came her way. He was the one to teach her after all.

He found the young redhead with her head in the clouds as men around her carried crates of supplies for the trip ahead. The Pegasus feathered sail waved in the breeze as his sharp eyes sought out the ship's Captain and Lieutenant conversed

"Daughter" his stern voice brought her back to reality as he approached her. His armored men behind him came to halt once he found her.

"Father" she greets him with a smile that would brighten any old man's world. Taking his daughter's hands into his.

"Are you ready to do your duty for the Order?" he asks her

"Well, this was better than marrying Paris" she dryly retorts

A chuckle escapes the Lords mouth at her words. Yes she never liked the idea of being married off to one of his men's sons. She always sought adventure despite her disadvantage of her gender. But she never let it get in her way. Juliet was always the first to pick up a new weapon and learn to use it before any of the boy's. She set the example for all future Templar's to be. He couldn't be prouder than he was right then.

"Remember what I taught you girl"

"A Capulet always pays their debts?"

"No"

"A lion doesn't concern herself with the like of sheep"

"Exactly" he says straightening his back "Do you swear to uphold the principles of our order and all that for which we stand?"

"I do" she replies

"And never to share our secrets nor divulge the true nature of our work?"

"I do"

"And to do do from no until death, whatever the cost?"

"I do"

"Then we welcome you into our fold, sister" he says placing his hands onto her shoulders "Together we will usher in the dawn of a New World. One defined by purpose and order" removing his hands he takes her right hand while taking something from his pocket. He hold it out to her to show her the ring that all Templar's wore on their hand

"You are a Templar" Lord Capulet announces sliding the ring onto her slender finger, it fit perfectly as the red cross stood out against the silver ring.

"May the father of understanding guide us"

"Thank you, Father"

Neverland

Many Years Ago

He was running again. He couldn't remember how many times he had to run away from the lost boys, but all Baelfire could care about was getting away as Felix trailed behind him with a few other lost boys behind him as he pushed past more and more jungle to get back to his cave. He would be safe there, but that seemed like it wouldn't be happening anytime soon as a lost boy suddenly jumped out in front of making him stop mid stride making him trip and fall to the ground.

Laughter rung out around him as they encircled him like predators would do to prey only for his saving grace to come in the form of a man not to much older than him in a white and blue robe to make his presence known to the lost boys

"Felix" the man's voice he was glad to hear addressed Pan's right hand emerging from the foliage "Leave him alone"

"How about..no" Felix retorted to the Assassin who had taken up residence on the island since arriving nearly a year ago. He casually walked in between the boys making his way towards Baelfire offering him a hand.

"You know the rules boy's, you can't come onto this side of the island, now it's time to turn back" he tells them as he takes Romeo's hands as he his easily pulled back onto his feet

"There are no rules on Neverland"

"Take it up with Pan but as long as Baelfire is on my side he's not to be touched, do you understand?"

He was right Felix thought to himself, with a flick of his stick the younger boys retreated to where they come from leaving Felix with the assassin and Baelfire "Romeo won't always be here to save you Bae"

"Run along Felix" Romeo reminded the older lost boy

"Pan will have you for this Montague!" Felix bellowed to the Assassin as he turned to leave the pair behind him

Once they were gone Romeo looked to the boy he had taken under his wing since meeting him "You okay Bae?"

"Yes fine. Thank you" he tells his savior as he breathed a little easier

"No problem. Come on you look hungry" Romeo says making Baelifire turn to head towards his camp fire on the beach.

The beach cove the assassin had taken over was quiet as the teen and young adult tucked into the fish the latter had hunted earlier. Romeo was grateful for the silence as it helped him think of anything else but the redhead that had taken over his mind the last few weeks. The hurt and betrayal still hung heavy on his mind, but at the same time he wanted to know if she was okay. He did love her. That's what hurt the most.

But he couldn't compromise the Brotherhood. Especially not with a Templar in his bed.

"Romeo" Baelfire broke the silence bringing the man in front of him out of his thoughts "have you seen Juliet?" he asks the assassin opposite him. The redhead was always getting in trouble with Pan. And he seemed to enjoy annoying the hell out of the only girl on the island.

"Why do you ask?" he gruffly asks the teenager continuing to eat is meal annoyance in his face at the mention of the woman that occupied a space in his mind.

"I-it's just I haven't seen her over the last few weeks" the younger boy stuttered in nervousness sensing the tone of the assassin.

"I'm sure she can take care of herself" he tells Baelfire ending the subject line abruptly. In the time he had known the assassin he had never been in this foul of mood. The usually optimistic man in front of him had something troubling his mind as they continued to eat their meal that the teen was grateful for each time the man invited him

"My year here is almost over" Romeo quickly changes the subject

"Does that mean you have to leave?"

"It does. I also means I don't have to leave by myself. If you really want to leave Baelfire just say the word and I'll take you with me"

"Y-You would do that for me?"

"Yes Bae. I can take you somewhere where you won't have to deal with magic anymore" he offers the boy in front of him

"Does such a place really exist"

"It does. Many people find my home when they had to flee their own because of some sorcerer or witch decided to terrorize them"

"Including the Dark One?" he slowly asked the man. Romeo was taken aback of the boys knowledge of the Dark One.

"Yes including him. As long as you stay within the city walls no magic light or dark would be able to touch you. You could have a normal life Bae"

"Yes" the teen couldn't say the word any quicker than it did.

A smile graced his lips at the teen's quick agreement to leave this place with him once and for all "Good. Meet me here the day after tomorrow and we an be done with this place once and for all"

Bealifire beamed at the Master Assassin as listened to more stories of the Brotherhood of Assassins for the next few hours before they parted ways to prepare for their imminent departure unaware of the shadow that had listen and watched the pair plan their escape from Neverland.

No one left the island without his permission. Not even the Master Assassin

He wasn't here. Why wasn't he here? The hours had thankfully flown by for the Master Assassin as he prepared the Jackdaw for its journey through the portal the magic bean would create. His energy seemed to pick at the thought of bringing Baelfie with him. The teen had become important to him since he met his being chased by Felix and the Lost boys at the beginning of his stay in Neverland. He enjoyed the stories he would tell the teen about the Assassins and enjoyed the freedom of sailing around the island when he introduced the Jackdaw to him. He was becoming the son he wished he could have.

The hours that flew by had come to a stand still as the minutes dragged one after the other as he waited for Baelfire to meet him at his beach camp. The Jackdaw was waiting in the horizon behind him the row boat that would take them to it had been dragged onto shore as he searched the jungle foliage for any sign of the young teen in his full robe and gear ready to head home for the first time in a year.

"I thought you'd be long gone Montague" his voice made the Assassin jump as Pan suddenly appeared behind him making him whirl around to see the boy leader in green stalk around him like a predator did it's prey.

"What do you want Pan?" he huffed out making sure the boy didn't see how much he had surprised the trained assassin.

"I wanted to say goodbye. The boys and I have enjoyed your company for the past year. It's almost sad to see you leave"

"Well at least we can share the same sentiment there"

"Tell me how long ago was Bae supposed to meet you here to leave together"

"I only came here to say goodbye to him. I know your rules" he easily lied to the boy without his heart skipping a beat

"Ah but I've got eye's and ears all over the island Montague. I know for a fact that wasn't your plan" he says as his shadow sweeps through the air knocking the assassin onto the his knees "I'm disappointed in you Romeo. I thought you'd keep your word" he continued as the assassin writhed in pain screams escaping his lips as the shadow tries to rip his own shadow from his body "But luckily for you I've had a change of heart" Pan says commanding his shadow to fly away leaving Romeo to pant

"What..do..you ..want?" he pants out trying to fight off the darkness that threatened to take him down. The pain wasn't anything he had ever felt before. It felt like he being torn apart from the inside.

"It's not something I want Montague. It's something you want" at that Pan waves his hand taking him and the assassin to a different past of the island.

The pair reappeared in the Echo cave. A favorite of Pan's. It made anyone that stepped inside tell their darkest secret in return to leave, but it wasn't a secret he wanted out of the assassin. Not at all. It was the truth.

Finding himself on solid rock still on his knee's he looks up to see himself in a cave with the boy leader stood next to him. Looking up he saw something that took him by surprise. Between him was at least a hundred foot gap and two wooden cages on the other side. One that contained the boy he hoped to take away from this island and the other held the woman he loved

"Juliet" he whispered in horror to see the woman he had fallen for "Juliet!" he yelled across the cavern coming to his feet.

The movement had caught the eye of the redhead as she looked up to see Romeo on the other side of the cave she had been stuck in since they had parted ways a month ago. The young boy in the cage next to him roused from his sleep hearing her moving around next to him. Looking at the redhead he had become friends with he looked in the direction she was looking to see Romeo on the other side shouting something at them

"Bea! Juliet!" the assassin continued to yell he say their lips moving calling back to him, but couldn't hear a single syllable that came out.

"They can't hear you" Pan tells him as he started to stalk around him

"What did you do to them?" he barks at the boy leader in anger

"They're part of game we're about play"

"This isn't a game" he growls at him

"Oh but they are" Pan retorted "You see when I discovered your little plan to take Baelfire here off Neverland, It got me thinking, would he really leave with him if given the choice between the boy he had taken under his wing, or the woman he loved with the child in her belly" he tells the assassin

"What?" he gaped at the boy in confusion. She was pregnant? Looking back at at the redhead his

"So, out of the kindness of my heart. I'm allowing you take either Bae here or Juliet. Never both"

No one leaves without Pan's permission.

No one

Monteriggioni, Enchanted Forest.

Eight month's later...

He couldn't believe he almost missed it. The birth of his daughter was the moment he didn't want to miss ever since returning to Monteriggioni eight months ago. And he almost missed it. If it hadn't been for the strong winds that carried the Jackdaw back to the city in time for him to race to the bordello he would have missed one of the most importatn moments of his life.

All the gods had blessed him indeed. She was smaller than he expected as he bounced her around Juliet's room as her mother slept away from the hours she had endure bringing her into the world.

His feet took him to the balcony that oversaw he rest of the city as the girl in his arms cooed to herself as the sun set on his daughter's second day in the world the smile on his face not leaving his face not even for a second.

As Paola quietly entered the room to see the young father still holding his newborn daughter in his arms. He hadn't left the bordello since the girls birth, but they both knew he had to leave eventually. He still had a role to play at the Villa at the top of the road. They knew he had returned from his adventures, but he hadn't shown his face to the other's

Glancing towards the sleeping redhead in the bed her mind wondered back to the hard birth she had barely come out alive. But the girl surprised her. Her stubbornness had kept her alive for long enough for the doctor to heal her. They nearly lost the babe as well. She wouldn't breathe once she left her mothers womb. They all including herself had given up hope for the girl's life but then Romeo took her daughter into his arms and spoke to his newborn daughter.

"Sei un Montecchi. Sei un combattente. Devi combattere!" (You are a Montague. You are a fighter. You must fight!)

Juliet heard her husbands words as she waited for her baby girl to do something.

She must have heard her father's words clear as day as her limbs started to move, until finally she started to cry taking in that all important first breath into the world

"Listen to her! A fine set of lungs!" the doctor cheered out from behind his beak like mask seeing miracle in front of his eyes as the midwife took her out of her father's arms to wrap her up in a towel.

The girl already had her father wrapped around her finger as the madam watched the scene before her "Does she have a name yet?" she softly asks the assassin gently stroking the girls head with her fingers.

"Amelia" he tells her with a even wider smile.

"Amelia" she tests the name on her lips as the babe comfortably moved in her father's arms "It think she likes it"

"I can't believe she's really here" he continues to grin only for it to finally fall "Will she be safe here?" the dread that he felt over the last few months had finally caught up to him and felt ten times heavier now she was in his arms. His string on his heart pulled a lot harder than they usually did at the thought of any harm coming to his child.

"She'll be safe as long as we all play our roles" she tells the young assassin. He still had so much to learn despite his rank within the order.

"She'll never know's who I am to her"

"We both know it's for the best Romeo"

"I do" he gulps

"As far as Claudius know's you've been here ever since making land, like every other sailor returning to the warm arms of my girls. And Juliet is just another girl that is seeking shelter from the cold streets. Only difference is that she has a child that grow up here with no father"

He could only nod at her as he headed back into the room gently laying Amelia into the cradle that sat next to her mother's bed. His eyes drifted towards his resting wife as he remembered what he had to sacrifice to have them both here.

"What else is troubling you Romeo?"

"Nothing" he tells her making himself think of anything else than Baelifire's screams begging him to come back

His greatest shame.

"I'll be back soon" he says leaving a feather on the pillow next to his wife's head. Giving his daughter one last look he leaves the room without looking back, knowing the role he had to play to keep his family safe from his own Brotherhood.

His greatest creation would be safe in plain sight of his Mentor and brothers. Even if it killed him in the end.
