It was a chilly day for Lucy and her newborn son, Metalicana. She was out in the meadows enjoying the view of the woods. Lucy had realized if she looked beyond the woods everything was beautiful.

Metalicana had started crying and Lucy worriedly looked down at him. She hadn't been an expert on raising a child but she could learn. With all the baby books Gajeel had brought her she was able to pick up a few tricks.

Lucy didn't know if it was her or has Gajeel been a bit romantic lately. Ever since Metalicana has been born he's been around more. She would assume when he did leave that he would fool around with Levy.

He would tell her that he would go pick up a few things from the village, but after what Rogue had told her, she knew good and well Gajeel was fooling around with Levy. When he was gone she would walk around in the woods trying to look for Rogue, but she could never find him.

Lucy was gently rocking Metalicana back and forth to try and calm him down. When he did start to calm down she couldn't help but smile at the beautiful baby that she and Gajeel both brought to this world. She was glad that she didn't hate her baby, unlike other women.

He was a spitting image of Gajeel himself. He had all his facial features and a bit of his attitude but in a cute way. She wishes Metalicana had taken some of her features, but Gajeel's genes were strong. One thing she would say that Metalicana had was her smile.

She felt a tear slide down her cheek, but she wiped it off in time before it dropped. She looked out into the field to spot a human figure. Lucy had to blink a couple of times to make sure she wasn't delusional.

At first, she thought she had seen Gajeel, but the person looked a little slender to be him. The figure had black hair, pale skin, and weapons on him. She couldn't believe that she was seeing Rogue again.

Lucy had slowly stood up for she didn't want to disturb Metalicana in his peaceful nature. She started to walk towards where Rogue was for him to spot her. His pace started to speed up towards Lucy.

When the two of them finally were face to face with each other they stood in silence out of breath. Rogue didn't know what to say to Lucy but her name: "Lucy!" causing her to blush. "Rogue...I haven't seen you in a while," she said smiling at him. "I had to stay out of the area," he simply said causing her to tilt her head.

"Because of order?" she asked as he shook his head. "Because of Levy," he said now making Lucy confused. 'Why would Levy be the cause for him staying out of the woods?' Lucy questioned herself. Rogue could see that Lucy was confused about his statement.

"She kinda told Gajeel I was one of the huntsmen that would travel around the woods just to find the wolf," he said causing her to aw. "That might explain why Gajeel's been coming back so early," she said now thinking about it.

Whenever Gajeel would come back he would sniff all over her and the house. It's like he would be suspecting something about her. She was glad that she was able to take baths and wash her clothes. Gajeel would bring her clothes from the village so she could change into a new set without him suspecting anything.

"He hasn't done anything bad to you has he?" Rogue sternly asked her. "Not lately, as long as I listen to him I'm not harmed by him," Lucy sadly told him. "So he doesn't put his hands on you or force you into sexual intercourse?" he asked making her almost tear up at the recent memories. She didn't answer his question, but he could tell by her silence that he has been doing it.

"Rogue..." Lucy said taking a deep breath before she continued: "I try my best to not think too much when he has his hands on me. I have to pretend like I'm enjoying it so he won't be too harsh when doing so," Lucy painfully said.

"Do you think about somebody else other than him?" Rogue asked causing Lucy's face to heat up. "God no, I haven't thought about thinking of someone else while having intercourse with him. I don't want to get caught up in it and then it all backfire on me later on," she exclaimed while covering her face.

"That's understandable!" Rogue slightly said looking down. It was once quiet between the two of them once again. "Umm, how's your part of the plan going?" Lucy asked him breaking the silence between the two of them. She was referring to the plan about killing Gajeel.

"It hasn't exactly been easy. Even though Gajeel comes to the village almost every day it would be bad if I just kill him right then and there. I have to do it without him or anyone else suspecting it. Do you have any suggestions?" he questioned her as tensed.

Lucy started to think about her plans that could work but they would result in him getting killed. "I don't have any safe plans," she said looking down in defeat. "It seemed like you had something, but you weren't too sure about it, please tell me what it is Lucy?" he pleaded.

"Rogue, it can result in you getting killed," she told him as he sighed. "I don't care I'm open for anything," he desperately exclaimed.

Lucy took a deep breath before she looked into Rogue's crimson eyes. "Okay...since you are comfortable with traveling around the woods and you obviously have the weapons to permanently kill a wolf...my suggestion is you come to his house and kill him in his sleep," Lucy suggested catching Rogue's interest.

"Doesn't he hunt at night?" Rogue asked referring to his research and knowledge. "He does, but sometimes when he eats or does certain stuff it makes him sleepy, so he sometimes skips on hunting," she said based on what she would see Gajeel do.

"Interesting," Rogue said rubbing his chin in deep thought. "I could put him to sleep and when the time is right I can give you the signal to come and finish the job," Lucy said making Rogue smirk for a second.

"I can't do that while you and the baby are in the house," he said directing his attention towards the child. Lucy couldn't help but smile that he was caring about her and her son. "I can't just be out in the open Rogue, you do realize that a bunch of wolves lurk in the woods, right?" she rhetorically questioned him.

"I know which is why I suggest you head to my house," he said pointing in a direction. "I don't know where your house is located," Lucy told him. "I can't head back to the village," she said afraid of what the outcome would be if she did. "My house isn't located in the village. It's located a bit further from where your house once was," he simply said facing her towards the direction.

"I'll show you next time when we meet again," he said as Lucy nodded. "Rogue where should we meet the next time we see each other?" she asked him. "We can meet here at noon, Gajeel is usually working or fooling around with Levy during that time," he said making Lucy feel a slight pain in her heart.

"Okay until next!" she sadly said until Rogue gently grabbed her face looking deep into her chocolate brown eyes with his crimson eyes. He leaned in to kiss her on the lips leaving Lucy in shock. "Until next time Lucy!" he smirked while taking his leave.

Lucy stood there still taken back by Rogue's actions. It seemed as if he knew what he was doing. She couldn't help but touch her lips and feel a smile appear on her face. Her heart was rapidly beating by just that one kiss he laid upon her soft lips.

She snapped out of her thoughts when she looked up in the sky to see it was about to get dark. She knew the wolves would be coming out, so she had to get home as quickly as possible. When Rogue appeared in her head she bit down on her lips and whispered: "Until then!"
