We proceed to the therapy clinic in the village of Magnolia, where Levy now sits on a lengthy chair designed to help patients. Porlyusica was right next to her in another chair with her notebook in place.
Ever since Levy's incident she has been going to therapy once a week. Unlike other patients who got better from their encounter with the wolf, Levy was the only one who was still traumatized.
People assumed she was insane and just trying to delude herself. When Rogue was accused of becoming the wolf, nobody believed her. She believed it was so clear that everyone could recognize it, but she found it hard for them to put together the pieces.
"How are you feeling Levy?" Porlyusica asked.
"I'm feeling fine, I guess!" Levy sighed.
Porlyusica started taking down a small note. "Have you been getting regular sleep lately?" Porlyusica asked.
"Sometimes!" Levy answered.
"Sometimes?" Porlyusica requestioned her.
"Yeah, I've been having nightmares lately about the wolf," Levy casually answered.
"What kind of nightmares?" Porlyusica asked writing.
"Of it attacking me and killing my friends," Levy choked. She felt tears threatening to fall at any moment. After a year of going to therapy, Levy was still sensitive about the subject.
It was hard for her not to cry when she would think of all her close friends that died. She didn't think it was possible but somehow it was.
"How does that make you feel?" Porlyuscia asked.
"It makes me feel like I'm trapped in this barrier and if I step out of it then I'll get killed like them. I feel like breaking down whenever I hear or think about them, but whenever I do it, people think I'm crazy," she answered.
"When you say people, are you talking about a specific group, as somebody you may know?" Porlyusica asked.
"Yes; my parents, friends, and other villagers. Every time their names are mentioned, especially Lucy's, I just can't help but reflect back on what happened that day," she answered.
"I believe I have heard of this story before, but tell me from your perspective how you remembered it?" Porlyuscia asked.
"I remember I was in pain from the wolf's attack, while Jet and Droy were dead right next to me. At first, I felt like it was a miracle that I survived that attack, but later on it felt like a curse," Levy said.
"A curse?" Porlyusica questioned.
"Yes a curse!" Levy repeated. "Why a curse?" Porlyuscia asked wanting more detail into Levy's thoughts.
"Because Jet and Droy died, then that day I was taken to the clinic, Lucy had died. I felt like God was punishing me by taking away the people I loved. Even though my parents weren't dead it felt like they were gone. They started treating me different by being sensitive and not listening," Levy explained.
"Okay, in our previous session, you told me how Jet and Droy's death effected you, but you never told me about Lucy's. Your parents say you get sensitive on the topic," Porlyusica said taking down notes.
"Lucy's felt different! I was 10x worse when I heard she died. For years, I have always worried about Lucy living in the woods. It scared me when she would walk home by herself when it was close to dark. None of the hunters except Rogue would go that far to where she had lived. I was a little comfortable with her walking home then until-" Levy hesitated.
"Until what?" Porlyusica asked wanting her to keep going.
"Until he started acting suspicious," Levy sternly said.
"Who is he?" Porlyusica asked.
"Rogue!" she angrily said.
"Rogue, what did he start doing that was suspicious to you in any kind of way?" Porlyusica questioned.
"Where do I begin...it all started the day I went to the clinic. I was being treated and I couldn't have visitors until later on. Lucy waited to see if I was okay, and when she came to visit I told her I thought Rogue was the wolf. The reason why is because when I looked at the wolf it had red eyes. Rogue is the only one in the village I know that has red eyes," Levy explained.
"Okay, Levy, sometimes people's appearance can change," Porlyusica reminded Levy.
"Don't worry I'm getting there. Lucy kept denying that Rogue was the wolf which was expected of her. She has liked Rogue for a longtime and it's hard to believe someone could be a dangerous creature. I feel like it was particularly my fault that Lucy died!" Levy exclaimed letting the tears slide down her cheeks.
"Why do you think it's your fault that Lucy died?" Porlyusica asked.
"Because for a second I thought I was being unrealistic and I decided to let it go. I told Lucy to go home since it was about to be dark. I noticed when she left, she had forgot her basket, and I didn't want her grandma being mad at her. So when I saw Rogue, I thought since he was heading that way to patrol he could give Lucy back her basket. When he came into the room he looked odd. He was holding his arm, his mouth had dry faded blood, and he was so tense. I think he killed her because he was the last person she had seen that day. My reason is because when they investigated her house they found a burnt basket meaning he gave it to her on her way home," Levy exclaimed.
"Have you ever told anyone this?" Porlyusica questioned.
"I've told my parents and a couple of people, but they find it hard to believe Rogue would do such a thing to Lucy. The only person who believes me is my coworker and friend Gajeel," Levy said.
"Who is Gajeel?" Porlyusica questioned.
"Gajeel is a guy I hooked up with almost a year ago. After Lucy died I was depressed and I needed to get my mind off of her death. And that's where Gajeel came in, I met him at a bar and we've been hooking up ever since," Levy said smiling at the thought of Gajeel.
"So he's your boyfriend?" Porlyusica rhetorically asked.
"I don't know it's complicated. I always feel like I'm something more to him, but deep down I know we're just friends with benefits. I don't want to get caught up in my feelings again and be a hot mess, so I try to hold back my feelings for him," Levy answered.
"What signs does he give you that he only wants to be friends with benefits with you?" Porlyuscia asked getting ready to write down some more information.
"Whenever we're having sex he never looks at me, he likes to keep to himself, sometimes I feel like he sleeps with other women because he smells like strawberries and there are hickeys on his body that I've never placed, and he's always so secretive," Levy exclaimed.
"Secretive?" Porlyusica cocked her eyebrow.
"Yes, because he never tells me anything about him. We work together in the same area sometimes and he never bothers to talk to me. The only thing me and him talk about is Lucy and Rogue," Levy said getting angry at the thought.
"Lucy and Rogue?" Porlyusica asked confused.
"Yeah it's weird how he's so interested in the topic of my best friend, but when we talk about Rogue he always gets mad at the thought of him. It's like Rogue did something to piss him off," Levy explained.
"Did he ever tell you why he didn't like Rogue? If he believes your theory on Rogue, there must be a reason behind it," Porlyusica pointed out.
"No, Gajeel never told me why he hated Rogue, I found it odd because it didn't seem like he ever encountered with him before," Levy oddly said.
"But I was glad that someone around here finally believed me, I just wish more people can do that, so I can bring Rogue Cheney to justice!" Levy said.
There was a knock at Porlyuscia's door and both Levy and Porlyusica looked up at the door. "Give me a second dear let me go answer this door," Porlyusica said excusing herself from Levy. Levy just watched as Porlyusica answered the door to reveal Gildarts Clive. Both her and Porlyuscia had wondered what he was doing here during her session.
"Gildarts, I'm kinda in the middle of a session with a patient," Porlyusica said irritated because she was being disturbed at her job.
"I know and I'm sorry for interrupting, but is Levy McGarden here, her parents said she would be at therapy at this time?" Gildarts asked.
Porlyusica looked back at Levy and then looked at Gildarts. "Why are you here for her?" she defensibly questioned.
"I came on very urgent business. Something happened a couple of nights ago and I need to bring her into the station to discuss about one of my hunters," Gildarts sternly stated.
Levy got up from the long chair and walked over to where Porlyusica and Gildarts were. "Which hunter?" she immediately questioned.
"Rogue Cheney, he is being placed in holding, but we have to ask a couple of questions because we believe he might have killed your best friend along with the other huntsmen," Gildarts answered making Levy's eyes widen.
"Well, McGarden, you got your wish!" Porlyusica said.
