Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot. Song is "It Had To Be You" by Harry Connick Jr.

A/N: This is a one-shot story and, as said, this pairing is Calleigh/whoever as I will not tell who the man is. So, you can think yourself if it's Ryan, Eric, Horatio, Dan, or God knows who. But enjoy anyway!

Calleigh finished reports just as the clock hit seven. It was her cue. Cue to leave. She looked up and met his gaze behind the glass wall. Right on time.

She nodded and he left. Gathering her final belongings, she turned off the lights, shut the door and left the building.

She got into her car and drove away. Calleigh knew where she was going. She had been doing this for the past two months and it was almost becoming a routine. Every Friday at seven. Like clockwork.

No music was playing. All she needed where her thoughts.

She stopped at his house and got out. Lights were on so he was waiting. As he had been doing forever.

She stepped out but stopped at the door. Was this right? Was this really supposed to be happening like this? She had wondered this since the beginning.

But as everytime, he opened the door without her knocking and when Calleigh's eyes met his, she knew why she was there.

Look.

His gaze was so deep and burning, she couldn't resist it. Those eyes, those incredibly deep eyes that seemed to hold the wisedom of eternity. She forgot everything under his gaze; he simply seemed to read her thoughts and understand everything.

He let her in and closed the door. She could hear music in the back just as it was supposed to be. A smile spread across her face when she recognized the tune.

It had to be you, it had to be you
I wandered around, and finally found
The somebody who could make me be true
Could make me be blue or even be glad

Dance.

He pulled her into his embrace and swirled her around. Calleigh loved when he did so; she felt so safe and protected. She closed her eyes and let him lead as always. It was a dance she had never learned but had known instantly. It was the dance of love.

Just to be sad just thinking of you
Some others I've seen might never be mean
Might never be cross or try to be boss

Touch.

She felt his hands on her sides, slightly caressing her back and neck. Then she felt him kiss her neck, so tenderly that it made her shiver and sigh. It was crazy; the way he could make her feel. He took a step back and they slowly made it to the room with a single bed and nothing else in it. He started unbuttoning her shirt and slowly but surely she was removed from all her clothes. Calleigh could feel his bare skin against hers and it made her knees weak. Not a new feeling but it had the same effect on her.

But they wouldn't do
For nobody else gave me the thrill
With all your faults I love you still
It had to be you

Love.

They made love slowly but lovingly as they had what seemed to be an eternity. She didn't question her motives of going anymore; they did not mattered. He was all that mattered. They just lay next to each other, his fingers intertwined with hers. He looked straight in her eyes and at the same moment she knew. Not a word was spoken but Calleigh Duquesne knew that she was loved.

You could make me feel good with some reviews :)
