"New reports from Wuncler Industries."

"Seems our Mr. Freeman is hard at work."

"It appears so. We have a file regarding his new non-profit organization. The NBP."

"Put it on the screen."

"Hmm.. Neo Black Panther Party for Self Defense?"

"Inspired by its predecessor."

"Mr. Freeman is starting a little club for revolutionaries. That could be some concern."

"Sir I apologize but the file continues on. We have financial records that show a connection between Wuncler and the NBP."

"Follow the money and see where it goes."

"Indeed."

"Coupled with the change in management and the timeframe we can only assume Mr. Freeman had some sort of involvement with the Wuncler inheritance."

"May I ask the wherabouts of Wuncler the Second?"

"Stranded in Bermuda ma'am, it appears he lacks the funds to get a plane out the country."

"How convenient."

"Good. We only want Freeman. Extra loose ends will complicate things."

"I'd like to use our executive authority and order that Wuncler the Second to be removed. Permanently."

"It certainly can be done. All in favour?"

"Aye."

"Aye."

"Aye."

"Then we'll carry out the operation sirs and madams, that will be the end of the briefing."

In the Freeman's living room, the TV is set to the news channel as the broadcast play out. "Alright folks the countdown is ticking! Please say goodbye to 2018 as we welcome the new year of 2019!"

The news reporter counts down. "Down in New York, the crowd is ecstatic! We now take you live with Jessica at New York Times Square!"

"Thanks Bill! As you can see, the crowd is going wild! 2018 has been a-

The news tune out as 2 figures sit in the couch, they aren't watching the news anymore, they stopped listening for some time now.

Huey and Jazmine are making out in the living room.

"MmmmMm Huey..."

"Come here." Huey takes his hand to fix a strand of Jazmine's hair.

They kiss there on the living room couch. Hungrily, almost violently, being in love just has that effect on people, especially for lovers that had been holding back for so long.

Jazmine runs her hands through his chest. She giggles. "Sorry... I just can't keep my hands off you."

"It's fine." Huey kisses her neck, giving her hickies. Jazmine moans in response.

She murmurs. "I- I never knew you were such a good *moan* kisser..."

"Yeah. Me neither."

He feels Jazmine's hands move through his afro, stroking it, holding on for dear life.

"I love you... I- I'm sorry it took me so long to figure *moan*... out."

"Sorry I've been so stubborn."

"Y- yeah..." Jazmine pulls him away. "I- uhh."

"Something wrong?" Huey lifts an eyebrow.

"I- I love you."

"No need to remind me." Huey responds.

"I- I'm pretty sure you have to say it back."

"Oh."

Jazmine looks concerned. "Say I love you back."

"Well..."

"Please, it's easy. Please don't tell me my only use is for kissing."

"I- it's not that." Huey sighs.

"Ugh! Huey!" Jazmine's eyes tear up. "Are you taking advantage of me? Do you even love me?!"

"No! I mean! I'm not taking advantage of you."

"Then why are you even touching me everywhere if you don't even love me?!" Jazmine shouts.

"Calm down Jazmine. It's just hard for me to say it." Huey says calmly.

Jazmine pauses. "I-I'm sorry... I shouldn't- I shouldn't have yelled at you..."

Huey takes his hand and places it on her cheek. "It's kinda corny, I hate saying it, but yes. I love you. Okay you happy?"

"I love you too." Jazmine smiles, her tears disappearing away.

Huey rubs the back of his neck. "I- uhh... I'm not good with this whole relationship thing. It isn't really something you can read about. It just comes natural to people... except for me apparently."

"And you're my first boyfriend... I'm not good with this too."

"Well that makes 2 of us huh."

"Yeah..." Jazmine replies.

"I know it doesn't seem like I show a lot of affection towards you, but I do okay? And I'll be better with time I guess."

"I- It's okay... take your time then, I can wait. But maybe you can smile at me some more?"

"Yeah... I'll try."

"And I know you're my first boyfriend... and I want you to be my last. My first and only boyfriend I mean..." Jazmine hugs him tightly. "Remember what I said back then? ...you're strong, the strongest person I know, and loving someone doesn't make you weak okay? And like you said... nothing changes between us. We are still Jazmine and Huey, we're still a team, we still depend on each other. But now... we're in agreement to be there for each other right?

"Right."

"To be together. To look out for each other. To open up and share each other's feelings right?"

"Yes."

"And all this kissing stuff... this whole 'I love you' stuff... is just the co-pay.. a little extra bonus right?" Jazmine giggles.

"Yes and remember what I said about no emotional attachments?" Huey gives her a half-smile. Wow that smile...

"Wow... well... we kinda got carried away didn't we?"

"It appears so." Huey gestures to Jazmine's body which had wrapped itself around him sometime ago. She giggles and gets off of him.

They look at the TV to see people celebrating the new year. "Uh.. Huey how long have we been kissing! We missed the countdown! Wait, It's 2019 now! Yay!"

"Didn't notice. Shush you'll wake up Riley and Granddad."

"Oh. Sorry." Jazmine says in a hushed tone. "Okay. Repeat after me. I love you."

"I- I- lov... nope, you're only getting it once a year." Huey jokes, easing off his grumpiness.

"Hey! Well, you said I love you last year, so I think you're due for another one."

"Guess so."

"Okat then." She smirks. "I should probably head back home. I promised my parents that I'll be back by now so..."

"Jazmine. I'll walk you home."

"Thanks." Jazmine nods her head, her eyes shine as if there's hearts inside.

Tom and Huey are carrying a few boxes as they walk down the Woodcrest suburbs, Tom had asked Huey to help him bring some stuff to his law office, but truthfully he just wanted some one on one time with his daughter's boyfriend. Tom has been taking the news pretty well and he is actually proud that his daughter is choosing to date someone like Huey instead of some bad troublemaker.

Of course Tom tends to avoid troublemakers and while Huey is a retired terrorist he has definitely changed his public image. After all he is the one who organized NBP and in his freetime Huey has helped the community a ton. So much so it has affected Tom and his lawyer career in a good way by helping people in poverty and reducing crime. Better for Jazmine to be with a boy he already knows and respects than a bad boy, as trouble like that tends to remind him of his phobia of sexual assualt in prison.

Tom tries to break the ice and make small talk with Huey. "So... when did you and Jazmine meet?"

"Why are you asking me this? We met 8 years ago when we moved in? You were there Mr. Dubois."

Tom looks embarassed. "I- Yeah stupid question Huey. But uh.. how are you and Jazmine?"

"We're fine Mr. Dubois."

"Oh come on Huey, we're at a first name basis now! You can call me Tom you know? You don't have to be so formal!" Tom smiles. "Listen, I wanted to just chat with you and have a man on man talk eh? I want to know you better! And you're part of the family now so you gotta open up, tell me more about yourself."

"Well I'm interested in your work, I want to study law when I graduate."

"Good choice. You're going to Maryland University?"

"Yeah. Wuncler Industries is even paying for my tuition."

"Wow that's great! I'm proud... son."

"Tom. We're not married. I'm not your son-in-law."

"I- sorry!" Tom laughs. "Just planning ahead!"

Huey sighs. "You seem to be a little too eager with my relationship."

"Yeah I know... but I'm happy for you and my little girl. Not many good men out there anymore. You're lucky she has you."

"I guess so."

Tom's face gets cold, almost intimidating. "But if you break her heart. I'll make sure you never get out of jail."

Huey looks genuinely surprised. "Yeah... I won't."

Tom continues. "Take care of her. And don't let her get into trouble."

"I won't."

Tom smiles. "Okay good! Welcome to the family!"

Huey exhales. "Sure Tom... don't mention it..."

They both enter Tom's law office and drop their boxes. After a few more chit chat with Tom. Huey leaves.

Later that day, Huey and Jazmine are in the school parking lot. The high school has been the unofficial headquarters of the NBP just because so many members attend school there. It is around 5:00 in the evening and they spot a figure sitting on a car as they walk towards him.

"Caesar." Huey calls out.

"Sup boss man!" Huey and Caesar do a small handshake.

"This is my girlfriend Jazmine, Caesar here has become one of the best in our organization."

"Hi Caesar, nice to meet you." Jazmine waves.

"Likewise!" Caesar nods his head and gives a cheerful smile. "So boss, which car you takin?"

"That black one."

Caesar looks inside his jacket. "Hmm... got it. The Wunclers gave this to us a week ago and I had someone take it to the mechanic, but should be good to run now."

Wuncler Industries has been giving away outdated or broken down cars to the NBP, which after getting it checked and repaired they store it in the school parking lot. The cars are used mainly for moving food and clothing donations around. But to be placed in charge of transportation and repairs is a big responsibility which Caesar was placed in charge.

"Here's the keys."

Huey takes the car keys from his hand. "Thanks. See you around Caesar."

"See ya! Good luck and have fun you 2!"

Huey and Jazmine got in the car and they drove off.

Huey is driving around the suburbs, looking for a specific address.

He turns his head to Jazmine. "You don't have to help me Jazmine... this is pretty dangerous."

"I want to help. And I can handle myself."

"I promised Tom to keep you safe."

Jazmine smiles. "You did? Well... just keep me safe then."

"Yeah but are you sure?"

"I'm sure Huey. I want to help you."

Huey sighs. "Fine... but for any reason don't leave this car understand?"

Jazmine nods her head.

"If something goes wrong, call the police."

She nods her head again.

"If something does happen to you, do you know how to defend yourself?"

"I use my pepper spray. Or I use the self defense stuff you taught me."

"Right."

For context, Huey has been tracking down a network of drug dealers who sell cocaine in and around Woodcrest, Huey has pinpointed the main supplier of these dealers to a single house in the suburbs. On this particular day he has been monitoring the house's owner on social media and he learns that the owner is going out of town for the night. His plan is to sneak into the house, gather evidence, take pictures of the cocaine lab, and send it all to the police anonymously. This will get the police to react, hopefully make a warrant, and he can watch Tom prosecute the owner in court for the production of cocaine.

When the main supplier gets busted then the whole ring of drug dealers will lose their supply.

He is going to sneak in through the back door while Jazmine stays in the car and wait. She wants to help him more and go inside with him but she knows that's taking it a little too far.

They arrive at their destination, just a short walk away from the house. Jazmine gets out of the car and she moves around so she can sit in the driver seat. Huey gets out too, ready to head into the house.

She holds Huey's hand before he leaves. "Good luck. And you can do it." She kisses him on the cheek.

"Thanks. Stay in the car."

"I will."

Huey is dressed in all black, with an oversized beanie to cover his noticeable afro. He jumps the wooden fence that leads to the backyard and sees all the lights turned off. Luckily for him there are no dogs or security systems in the house. He then walks up to the backdoor and as expected it was locked.

Huey sighs. Haven't done this in a while

Huey takes out lockpicking tools from his jacket, he works on the door at a relatively fast pace, a minute or so later, he manages to get it open.

This is no longer Huey the Boyfriend, no longer Huey the Organizer, no longer Huey the Terrorist. This is Huey the Revolutionary, the one who is fighting for his people, to get rid of scum who run drug labs and get drug dealers off the streets.

Woodcrest has always had a major drug issue, which is contributed to a several factors. For 1, Wuncler the First and the mayor had been pretty neglectful with the community, the Woodcrest police is corrupt and incompetent which was probably the reason Ed and Rummy could run rampant, and last, Woodcrest residents simply didn't care, as long as the drug addicts stayed off the richer suburbs no one and not even the police would care to get rid the dealers.

It's a system that even allows someone like Thugnificent to start dealing drugs on his first day of business. Huey has taken it upon himself to take action, as inspired by the many historical figures he calls heroes, he must take action and act first.

Huey enters the house, the smell is the first thing he notices. The owner may be out of town but he is definitely not the most sanitary person out there, as the house smells like wet carpet and chemical fumes. He sees a bunch of trash as he walks through the kitchen, carefully walking as to not make a sound.

As he silently moves through the house he takes a note of a few things, such as kitchen knives located in the kitchen and how many steps it takes to move through each room. Soon enough he finds the stairs leading to the 2nd floor, most people would assume that a drug lab would be in the basement as it would be more hidden but it is usually located upstairs to provide ventilation from the toxic fumes.

Huey walks up the stairs, careful not to make a sound, all this time it had been pitch black, with nothing but a small faint from a flashlight to help him.

The first thing he sees is a bunch of boxes and supplies. He takes a picture with his camera as evidence, they all seem to be ingredients for making drugs. In a room he spots a bunch of safety gear, several masks, lab coats, and radiation suits, any suspicions that he is in the wrong house is gone.

In the next room he sees the actual drug lab itself. The room where they actually make it. Jackpot. Huey takes a dozen pictures, making sure to document the whole thing. Huey ponders how much evidence he needs to actually convince the police do something. For years Wuncler the First has been bribing the police to turn a blind eye on his activities, which in turn made the police more lazy and neglectful. Once they realize that all they have to do is follow Wuncler's orders to get a paycheck, most of the police simply ignored important duties such as stopping Woodcrest's drug problem or the barely legal businesses like A Pimp Named Slickback's services.

Huey had been too busy pondering to hear the set of footsteps walk toward him. At first he assumed it was Jazmine but before he turned around it was too late.

He feels a sharp pain in his left shoulder. At first, the pain was tolerable, like a needle injection, but then the pain keeps growing and growing, enough pain for his knees to almost collapse.

Huey had been stabbed.

Now a stab wound isn't usually noticed at first, statistically most stab victims are in a state of adrenaline during a fight and they don't actually notice that they've been stabbed until a few minutes later. Huey had been fascinated with the human body that way, the way humans can go and continue fighting for a few more minutes even after sustaining an injury.

However when Huey was stabbed he wasn't ready and neither was in a state of adrenaline.

Huey grunts in pain, he's using all his strength to continue to stand up.

He turns around to see the owner of the house, with a furious look on his face. "Good evening, isn't a little rude to tresspass people's property?" The man says with a cocky attitude, knowing he got the first hit on Huey.

Huey focuses on his breathing, he goes through his options and plans. The owner wasn't supposed to be here, he was supposed to be out of Woodcrest.

He thinks to himself. Where had I gone wrong?

Doesn't matter, all I need to do is get out of here.

Before I bleed out.

Huey relaxes his breathing to match a steady pace. On the floor is a bloody kitchen knife. The man shouts. "Hello? Are you even listening to me?"

He sighs. I'm gonna have to take that

If the police comes here they're gonna know it's your blood.

What a pain. I didn't plan to get stabbed...

The man is yelling loudly now. "You're just gonna ignore me nigga?! I'll kill you! I'll kill you for walking into my house! You ain't taking my drugs!"

Huey has heard enough, while his left arm is in critical condition he can still use an arm and his legs. In one quick motion, he front kicks the man against the wall, making a loud thud sound.

"Fuck!" The man shouts.

Quickly, he easily follows up with a kick to his head knocking him to the floor, he then kicks him a couple more times with less force to put the man unconscious.

Easy.

He grabs his camera off the floor and he takes the bloody kitchen knife, making sure to clean up any blood that spilled. He then drags his body outside the front door, no longer bothering to go out back and jump the fence. He feels himself getting weaker and his vision slightly fading but he manages to spot Jazmine's car in the street.

She unlocks the car doors and watch him get inside.

"So... did you get what you need?"

"Just drive Jazmine. Please. No questions right now, drive fast to my house and focus on the road." Huey clenches his teeth as he applies pressure on the wound.

She quickly listens and she drives as fast as she could.

After 5 minutes she parks the car on the driveway. "We're here Huey. Now tell me what's wrong?"

"Help me walk. Hurry."

Jazmine gets out the car, sensing someting is wrong, she moves close to Huey and supports his shoulder as they walk together. She tries to ring the doorbell.

"Granddad is out on a date... And Riley is probably out... we have spare keys under that potted plant."

Jazmine finds the keys and opens the door. She can see Huey's blood and a lot of it. She gulps and shuts her mouth to prevent from herself panicking.

Jazmine helped him get all the medical supplies out, some bandages, some disinfectant wipes, and various other things. Huey is sitting in the dining room as he tries to take his shirt off. Feeling his body roar in protest he knew the wound will get worse if he moves his arm.

Huey asks Jazmine. "Hand me the large scissors."

"Here."

He takes the scissors and starts cutting the fabric of his shirt, soon enough he cuts it in half and let 1 piece fall to the floor. Jazmine goes to work applying more pressure, ignoring the blood stains and his shirtless body.

Huey exhales, feeling Jazmine's touch. "So uh... I got stabbed."

Jazmine says with a serious face. "Yeah I can see that Huey."

"The guy was still in the house."

"Be careful next time. Why didn't you tell me while we were at the car?"

"Didn't want you to panic while we were driving."

"Please tell me next time okay? I'm not the naive little girl who cries all the time, not anymore. I can handle it."

"Sorry... next time then."

"Do you want to go to the hospital?"

"I'm fine... is it still bleeding?"

Jazmine checks the wound. "Not anymore. But I think it needs stitches... I can do it myself if you have a sewing kit."

"It's in my room."

"I'll go get it."

"Wait." Huey stops her. "Thank you."

She gives him a worried smile. "You're welcome. And I love you."

Jazmine sanitizes the needle and threads and then goes to sew the wound shut, luckily for Huey nothing too bad was stabbed, the kitchen knife didn't hit any major arteries. He sits there next to the dining table as she silently works sewing and then bandaging the wound up. After that she grabs a shirt from his room and helps him dress as he strains to move his shoulder.

She can't help but feel relief and happiness knowing that she is right beside him at a moment where he needs her the most.

Jazmine asks as she cleans up the table. "So did you get anything?"

"I got pictures." He points to the camera. "And also I got the knife that stabbed me."

Jazmine giggles. "A souvenir?"

"Do you want it?" He lifts an eyebrow.

"No I'm just joking. But you're gonna get rid of it right?"

"Yeah." Huey begins to stand up. "Anways I gotta print these pictures ou-

She sees him trying to stand up and struggling. "Hey stop. It's okay. I'll print them out, then I'll mail it to the police. I want to see that guy who stabbed you get punished."

He hands her the camera. "I took 21 pics... just print the out the good ones though."

Jazmine looks through the camera's contents. She sees all the supplies and the equipment. "Wow so that's what a drug lab looks like... you've done so much Huey... let me handle the rest while you lay down okay?"

"Okay..."

"Here. Let me help you get on the couch."

After an hour or so Jazmine finishes printing out documents in Huey's computer and gets a folder prepared to give to the police under Huey's instructions meanwhile he is in the living room quietly reading a book. Even with a stab wound he still manages to find the time to read.

Jazmine comes downstairs and gives him a folder for Huey to check. "Good. Nice job Jazmine."

She sits down next to him and cuddles. "What a day. Now that work is done, let's just... relax."

"Alright."

Jazmine and Huey lock into a tight embrace, with Jazmine trying to avoid his injured shoulder. They were almost going to lock into a kiss when suddenly the door opened.

"I'm home Granddad!" Riley walks in the house. "Nigga, what's Jazzy doin so late at night?"

"Go away Riley, we're tired." Huey groans.

"Bitch what we got to eat?"

"Nothing. We were busy."

"Ye too busy makin love and shit! I know u 2 are dating! Mr. Dubois been bragging to the entire town the whole day!

Huey closes his eyes, not finding the strength to fight Riley. He turns to Jazmine. "Can you get him to leave please?"

Jazmine raises her voice. "Riley go away! You just jealous cause Cindy ain't here! Can't you just leave us alone!"

"Damn! Fine! Okay fine! Bitch ass Mariah fuckin my brother..."

"Go!" Jazmine yells, trying to imitate Huey.

"Aye chill!"

Riley walks up the stairs, slightly shocked as he has never seen Jazmine angry before. As Riley gets out of sight she turns to Huey and gives him a smile.

"Did you like my Huey impression?" She returns to his embrace and goes back to cuddling him.

"Could use some work."

She replies. "I'll practice."

"It's getting pretty late."

"Maybe I can stay?"

"Tom is gonna get worried."

Jazmine sighs. "I'll call... don't worry Huey, let me take care of it. Just rest. Stop thinking all the time with that cute brain of yours... just rest please."

"Fine..."

They sit there holding each other as Huey closes his eyes to sleep.
