Chapter 4 ~ Water Element (8th day)

Luffy woke up, he planned to leave without waking Marco up but he was already awake and currently just staring at him from his blanket nest. Man~ the bird was just so cute and Luffy honestly wanted to keep him but he knew the bird would leave one day and he can't keep a person. He doesn't like taking freedom from anyone. Luffy decided to just smile at him and got up to change and get ready.

Marco woke up early today and found out that Luffy was still asleep and just watched. No, he's not a creep, he just doesn't have anything else to do. The sun was just rising when the raven finally woke up, smiled at him and went to change, not caring at all that Marco was right there.

He was now wearing a black collared, long sleeve shirt, as usual, to cover up the horrible mark on his neck from collars and wore long black pants with a blood red sash with the pants tucked into his combat boots. He then set a long black cloak on a table nearby for the trip later and went to prepare breakfast and lunch for Marco, while he was out. Marco was still lying on the bed, he could walk fine now but didn't bother moving from the tall bed, so he waited for the raven to come back.

Luffy came back to the bedroom area soon enough and opened the chest near the foot of the bed, it was black with shiny red embellishments. He never touched it before and Marco got curious, so he teetered over and took a peek. The action itself was adorable, probably because he couldn't see what's inside from that angle and looked at Luffy expectantly through those lazy eyes.

So Luffy complied and lifted the bird up to place him on his shoulders. Marco saw that inside the box there were bags of coins and gold, probably worth about 80,000,000 beli, it made him wonder where the teen got those money from. Then he noticed some paintings, almost similar to those hanging around the cabin walls. Marco has never paid any specific attention to them, they were mostly abstract looking splotches of colour and he didn't understand it. Luffy took out some bags of money and all three of the paintings and placed them near the exit. Then went to the dining table and sat him down to eat breakfast together, it was some fruits and more biscuits with milk. Yeah, they were definitely running out of food.

"I'm going out to get some stuff," Luffy said as he picked up some keys from a bowl beside the table. Marco wondered what those are for, why would he need keys? The cabins didn't even have locks on it. So, taking advantage of his bird form, he jumped onto Luffy's lap, surprising the raven slightly as he fumbled with the key.

"Moh~ I was going to take you with me, no need to jump me~" he said teasingly, making Marco look to the side, thanking whatever deity that he was a bird and could not blush right now. Luffy giggled, grinning and picked him up.

They left the cabin, went up the hill behind the cabin and another hill which he never went to before. He saw a well and a hanging wooden bridge that led to another small detached land, it looked dangerous but Luffy walked past it causally, used to it.

There, he noticed it looked like a training ground. A small shack, like a storage room, was at the side with some target board, dummies, weights, and pipes? That reminded him of Ace. Luffy unlocked the shack and his eyes widened slightly. Inside were weapons and not just any weapon, they looked good and expensive.

Propped by a wall was a nodachi with black scabbard, littered with red spider lily flowers and a red cord wrapping the handle. Then, displayed on the wall was a ninjato with white scabbard with orange and blue flames decorating it and a white cord wrapping the handle. He also saw a bow and some arrows, 'who even uses those nowadays yoi?' he thought, there was also a collapsible, black, bo staff, a set of knuckle guards, and daggers.

Physically shaken from the shoulders he perched on, Marco finally noticed Luffy taking some holsters and wearing them on his hips, below his red sash and another on his thighs, where he strapped two black daggers with gold embellishments, on each side. Several small throwing knives were placed on his hip holster along with another thing that looked, very much, like a bubbly coral and placed it into a small pouch on the holster. At the end, Marco was speechless and his curiosity spiked.

Back at the cabin, "I don't think there would be storms, but if there are, just push the brick away, alright? Also, is there anything you want me to get you while I'm there, I will buy it if they sell it," Luffy said as he set a brick near the entrance to block the door from closing completely. He set up a blanket nest on the carpet since Marco couldn't climb the bed by himself yet and brought the alphabet list down to show him.

'Newspaper would be great yoi, I want to know what is going on right now and the news coo don't come here yoi,' he thought and pointed it out.

"Newspaper huh, okay. Newspapers lie though, I prefer finding information for myself. Want to read any books?" the raven replied.

'How do you find info then, yoi?' thought Marco with a raised eyebrow as Luffy went to get some books and placed it on the carpet. Then they went to place the paintings and money on the dinghy. It was small, enough for two people only.

'Is he using a dinghy in the New World yoi?!' Marco thought worriedly as he followed Luffy to the beach. He stood on the beach while Luffy stood on the dock near the ship and shouted, making him flinch.

"AO-NEEEE," Luffy shouted at the top of his lungs and a sea king rose up, it was huge. Marco squawked and jumped back slightly. The raven just continued, ignoring Marco's conflict and shock, "can you bring me to the nearest island with a town?" "Thank youuuu, if we meet assholes, I'll feed you alright," he said again grinning now and the freaking huge blue sea king actually huffed and nudged the teen.

'Ugh… I might be going crazy yoi,' he thought as he stared. Did he say he'll feed it assholes? As in humans?! Luffy walked towards him and carried him back to the cabin while he kept watching the sea king, as it dive and took the rope to the dinghy between its mouth.

"I'm going now Marco, be good alright," he said.

Marco squawked in indignation and pecked his arms, 'Do you even know how old I am, yoi?!'

"Shishishishi, alright, alright," he said, giving the bird's head a light peck and stood up to take a piece of small white paper from the desk that looked very much like a vivre card.

Marco was frozen on the spot and almost missed the white paper he stashed under his robe quickly. 'Is that his vivre card, did he kiss me to distract me yoi?' Marco was still slightly shocked but wondered why the teen would need a vivre card and realised that Luffy didn't use a log pose nor an eternal pose. Plus, he hadn't seen any ship nearing this island before. Does it mean this island was untrackable? he was now wondering if he could tear some of that vivre card without getting caught. 'That way, when I leave I can come back here yoi,' But why do that when he could just ask instead, before he left. Soon enough, he was lost in thought thinking of Luffy and trying to figure him out.

Luffy was lying down on his dinghy thinking, 'why did I kiss him? I did distract him from noticing the vivre card. I think,' he groaned. He didn't even know the guy and it was a freaking bird but he loved his company.

"Maybe I've been living alone for too long," he said. Aone grumbled making Luffy laugh, "shishishi right, I'm sorry, I still have you guys," he replied.

'Whatever, let's not think too much, it's tiring,' he thought as he lay down to sleep.

He was woken a while later by the sound of cannon shooting, it was shooting at Aone and his dinghy. The raven stood up and frowned as he stopped the next cannon by kicking it away. It was a pirate ship he didn't recognise, must small fries he thought, but he needed to decide if they were assholes or not, so he geppo-ed over to their ship and stood on the figure head.

"Yo, mind not shooting my friend?" he asked calmly, face emotionless. The shocked crew started pointing weapons at him but he skillfully ignored them all, until a fat guy with orange hair that looked worse than a bird nest came out and smiled lecherously as he eyed him, Luffy suppressed a shiver of disgust.

"Owh, what's a pretty boy like yourself doing floating around in a dinghy, why don't you join me instead. I will provide you with anything if you are mine…" the bastard said as he walked forward getting into the raven's personal space. Luffy narrowed his eyes and this stupid bastard just couldn't see the danger he was in, daring to touch him. Luffy growled and in one swift motion, he sliced the bastard's arm off.

"AaaARGHHH! You SLUT! HOW DARE YOU Do thi-"

"Owh shut up you pathetic bastard, you shouldn't have touched me with those filthy hands," he cut him coldly.

"MEN KILL HIM! ATTACK HIM! HE"S JUST A SINGLE BOY," he commanded. Luffy chuckled darkly, not moving from his original spot.

"Time~ to play~" he sing-songed as his eyes glowed almost golden, scaring some of the weak hearted crew members. In less than five minutes, the ship was covered in red and there were mutilated body parts everywhere, while he didn't have a single drop of blood on him.

"Aone, time to eattt," he said grinning at his sea king friend, who seemed ecstatic at the smell of blood. He searched the ship for treasures and food then went back to his dinghy and sent his flames to the ship, burning it down. Making sure he didn't burn the bodies, sea kings love their food raw and bloody after all. As the ship burned and body dropped into the sea Aone ate with gusto and then continued on their way. When they neared the island, Luffy told Aone to wait around the area and hide so as not to scare the townspeople and attract unwanted attention.

Luffy docked near some other ships and left taking his bags of money and painting along. He went to an art shop first and sold his paintings there, three of them earned him about 75,000 beli and he used 30,000 of it to buy new art supplies like canvas, brushes, and paints at the same shop. Then went back to put his art stuff on his ship.

After that, he went back to town to shop for food supplies next. A meat shop, where he got some beef, chicken, crocodile, and sea king meat. Technically, he didn't know these animals so he didn't mind eating them. Don't ask, it's Luffy logic. Then, a vegetable and fruit stall to get some that he couldn't have on his island like strawberries, plus he noticed Marco liked them. Next, was just random stuff like biscuits, breads, milks, soaps, detergents, and others.

He also went to shop for new clothes, where he saw a black sleeveless turtleneck which he liked, since he could ignore the scars on his arms. Lastly, he went to a bar to buy rum and wine. By the time he's done, it was lunchtime, so he placed his items back on the ship again and went to a bar to eat. This one had a stage so he thought he could save some money.

"Hiya, old man," Luffy greeted the bartender.

"Not an old man yet, brat," The bartender grumbled, although he couldn't see the offender's face.

"Uh-huh, I was wondering if you'd let me sing in exchange for food," Luffy offered, ignoring the previous statement. The old man raised his eyebrow.

"You any good, lad?" The old man asked, "no one performed anything good lately."

"Hmm, well self praise is no praise, if you're not satisfied then I'll pay for the meal. Deal?!" Luffy asked, holding out his hand.

"Aite' why not I guess, go ahead," the man said. Luffy cheered a bit and went to the stage, catching the eyes of some customers before they continued ignoring him. He was still wearing his black cloak when he started singing a random song he remembered.

"Whoa, he's good alright," the bartender said. Other customers agreed and started paying attention, he finished and did a small flourish before heading to the bar.

"So... How was it, old man?" Luffy asked, grinning under his cape.

"Not an old m- Ah, Nevermind," he sighed. "You're getting your free meal, what do you want lad?!"

"Shishishi, thanks, I'll have some steak and some rum then."

"How old are you to be drinking rum?! You look tiny and sound young," the man asked, raising a brow.

"Ehhh, I'm 19 already! I can't help my short stature," Luffy said, pouting.

"Hahahaha, alright, alright, not that I care anyway," he said and left to get what was ordered, coming back a while later, "here, enjoy your meal." Luffy thanked the man again and ate, he noticed by now he was being watched and didn't want them to know, he knew.

Once finished, he thanked the bartender again and left. 'What should I do? From here I can sense about 8 of them and they're quite strong, it would be troublesome to fight them all together. I can't lead them to my ship either, which I would need to check later for any tracking devices, and I need to kill them all to make sure they don't know I'm alive,' he thought quickly and sighed quietly. Luffy decided to walk towards the forest slowly to make sure there were only 8, at some point it increased to 10 and when he arrived at the forest, they gave up following and came out.

"Monkey D. Luffy, you're not dead after all. Our team got lucky and found you first huh, I'm getting my promotion," he drawled. Luffy was surrounded by 10 people as he glanced around to confirm their positions. They were all dressed in white CP uniforms and those weird creepy masks.

"I'm not going anywhere, you're not one of the strong ones," he said emotionlessly as he poked the man's pride.

"Shut up you demon! I don't need to be strong. There's ten of us and one of you, we'll win," he bellowed confidently and attacked all together.

Luffy laughed humorlessly as he dodged easily, pissing him off even more. He took out his daggers and parried sword attacks, throwing his knives accurately, hitting some of the agents on the neck and head killing in an instant. Seven left, more parries and dodges. He grabbed an agent that got too near on the neck and snapped it with pure strength, six left, while at the same time using the dead man as a launching pad doing a handstand on the guy's shoulder and kicked an incoming one, as the corpse fell, he landed back on the ground. A bullet grazed his face as he dodged it a little too late but he caught sight of the sniper and threw a knife precisely onto his other eye and into the skull, five left. His legs got stabbed by a lucky hit making him stumble, quick to roll away as a sword came down right where he was before. He duck and tripped a guy nearby then stabbed him on his neck with his dagger in one swift move, then lifted him up as shield as another tried to stab him, four left. He was panting by now, it's been almost a year since he fought this hard. He exercised and trained but fighting was different. One of them managed to come close from behind and touched him, suddenly he couldn't move. 'FUCK, I got distracted, is this a devil fruit power?' Luffy thought as he frowned.

"NOW!" The leader shouted and they charged him at once. This time aiming to kill rather than capture.

"Urghhh," Luffy groaned, he wasn't unused to being stabbed and cut, but it hurts like a bitch no matter how used to it he gets. The guy was laughing and mocking him like he already won. Now, he's royally pissed. His eyes glowed and he grew black ears and tails underneath the cloak. The leader caught his eyes turning orange, almost gold and was smart enough to realise what's coming.

"GET BACK NOW!" he shouted as he jumped back several feet.

"Too late," the raven said slowly as he burst into flames, yellow and white. Charring the agents who didn't even have time to scream and melting weapons but leaving the forest untouched besides the cuts and craters. He was free now that the guy who held him was dead, one left. He turned to look at the last guy, the man was sweating bullets. "Shouldn't have pissed me off," Luffy said as he walked towards him.

"I...I'm just a lo...low ranked agent, l..le-let me go.. I promise I won't say a thing…" he begged pitifully.

"I learned the hard way to never trust government agents especially, assassins like-" he was cut off and there was a sword in his chest. Barely missing his heart. He groaned, 'why am i so stupid!' and glared at said man, who seemed smug that he caught him off guard.

"CP agents would never beg you, idiot, I would rather die."

"Right... I forgot how it was with you people and lives," he said scowling now. He broke the sword with his hand ignoring the bleeding and rushed the guy before pinning him down and stabbing his neck with his hand as he sharpened the nails. He looked at his stinging hand, 'need to practice more armament haki, observation haki was easier to master.'

"Ah.. It's afternoon already, I need to head back now. I forgot the newspaper though," he said to himself, struggling to get up. He burned the bodies to ashes before walking back towards the dock, ignoring the stares. As he walked back to the dock, he saw a news stand, 'luckyyyy,' he chuckled inwardly and quickly got it and went back to his ship, he sailed away from the island a bit and called out to Aone to pull the ship. Aone was quite worried since he smelt blood on him.

"Don't worry, I'll be okay Aone, just get me home soon, I'm getting dizzy from blood loss, shishi...shi," Aone chuffed in reply and swam back as fast as he could as Luffy fell asleep.

Marco's POV

After Luffy left, he took a look at the stack of books left on the floor because the raven didn't know which he would like. There was a great variety, horror, medical, mystery, combat, and some 'how to' books. So he took the combat one, mostly because he was curious about how a book teaches combat, but he was mostly distracted.

It's almost a week now, and all he knew was that his name is Luffy, has a devil fruit, could swim or at least water didn't affect him. He was a slave but even a slave usually doesn't have that type of scars, it looked more like stab wounds and cuts, rather than whips. The one on his neck looked like he should've died from it already and cuffs shouldn't leave marks after a long time unless he just escaped but that was unlikely. The more he delved into that, the more he frowned. Moving on to better things, he should be able to fight if all those weights and worned out dummies, targets, and good weapons were any indication.

At the same time he was gentle and kind to him and the animals, right... the animals. He could communicate with animals and sea kings, 'how yoi?' He's also pretty for a male and definitely hot, 'I need to stop having nosebleeds yoi,' he groaned. If he's that pretty as a slave…he frowned, not liking where that statement was leading. Is that why he doesn't seem ashamed of being seen almost naked? And that kiss on his head before he left, 'what was that for yoi?' Not that he was complaining. Honestly, he wished he could grab his face and kiss him back, 'arghhh." Then his stomach grumbled, snapping him out of his thoughts. He realised it was almost afternoon and Luffy should be back soon. He went to eat the food left for him.

After he was done, he realised he was getting too comfortable, wasn't he? 'Sorry oyaji, I know I probably should try to get home faster but here I am, getting attached to a stranger yoi,' he sighed. The bird fell asleep soon after getting comfortable in his blanket.

When he woke up, it was getting dark, the sky was a pretty reddish purple and Luffy was still not back. He was getting slightly worried since the raven did say he would be back by afternoon, but he should be fine right? What could happen anyway?"not as free as i liked.." he brain supplied without consent. He groaned, if Thatch was here, he would probably call him a mother hen with his worrying but he had a bad feeling. It was starting to drizzle, so he closed the door, which he would regret later.

Then after ten more agonising minutes, he slowly climbed the desk where the window was and finally saw that huge, blue sea king. It pushed the dinghy to the dock and actually tried to tie the rope onto a pole and failed, it would be hilarious if he wasn't having bad feelings.

For a while he couldn't see Luffy anywhere, after another few minutes he got up, still cloaked and went out of the ship. But he looked to be struggling and stumbling as he tied the rope securely. Now Marco could see the cloak was ripped up in several places and dripping, something? It was dark and hard to see now but it only made him worry more. Marco watched as he walked, Luffy was definitely limping and struggling. The raven walked further in and then just collapsed, head first into the sand, near the bonfire area which made him panic. He saw him light a fire and just lay there under the rain…

'What the hell yoi?! Is he okay?' Okay, he definitely needs to go out now. He looked at the door and groaned, he totally shouldn't have closes it earlier. How was he gonna open it? He willed himself to turn into a human, and groaned when some blue flames lit up but did nothing. Marco tried it over and over until he actually managed to turn.

"Ughhh... What the hell yoi, it hurts. But I did it," he chuckled a bit in victory. His back hurts so did his sides, this was weird, it's like turning into a human stretched his wounds. "Ah right, Luffy yoi," he remembered and dashed outside ignoring the protesting wounds. When he reached Luffy, his breath hitched. There was tons of blood, he tried to heal him but his flames were not working again. The blond groaned in annoyance and felt for a pulse, releasing a breath of relief when he could feel a weak beating. He decided to carry the raven bridal style into the cabin and Luffy groaned with every shift.

"Ma… r..co?" Luffy asked, brow raising slightly. "You…did It... Haha," he said weakly between puffs of breath.

"Yeah, it's me yoi. Don't talk for now, you're losing way too much blood," he replied, frowning and distractedly realising how light the teen actually was.

"Mm…okay," The raven closed his eyes. Marco brought him back and placed him on the floor near the washing machine which was the only clear place and cut open his clothes. The pirate drew a deep calming breath, there were several cuts and four obvious stab wounds around his torso, one stab wound wayyy too close to the heart for his liking and another on his leg. How he even managed to get out of those and endure it till now, Marco didn't know. The thought that Luffy might've died without him knowing, makes his heart clench. Though his usual lazy face only reflected his thoughts in the form of a small frown. A small voice distracted him.

"Ma...co, I'll...be fi-ne, put...me in… the tub and...fi-fill it with… wat-er," the teen rasped, almost a whisper but he heard it loud and clear. Although confused, he did it anyway. As soon as Luffy was placed in the water, he seemed more relieved and the blood stopped flowing out. He kneeled next to the tub and stared at the wounds, the water seemed to be creating tubes and paths for the blood to keep flowing. He would be gaping but Marco almost never gapes.

"A pineapple…" the teen said dryly and tiredly. Snapping him out of his daze though still looking at it, his eyebrow twitched and groaned.

"Really, yoi? That's the first thing you say… what happened to you? Also how's it doing that yoi? Aren't you a devil fruit user? Shouldn't water weaken you yoi?" He couldn't help it and shot out questions but when he looked up he noticed Luffy was smiling slightly and staring at him through half lidded, tired eyes but what was shocking was his eyes were almost golden. He had two raven cat ears with golden tips which made him look cuter and a black tail lying lax by the side. Now he was gaping slightly till he realised it and snapped it shut. "wha-" he started.

"Aaa~hhh, shhh, let me reply first," he cut in. So he waited. The raven grinned cheekily, "firstly, your hair is wayyy too distinct to not be noticed first, shishishi." The now blond man groaned but couldn't help a small smile. "I fought, is what happened."

'So vague yoi.'

"Theeen, it's doing that.." he waved weakly at his open wounds which would look pretty disturbing if you're not used to wounds, "because I'm controlling the water to do that...it actually requires way too much control, which is why I need to be in my hybrid form right now. As for your last question, yes I'm a devil fruit user, silly. How else would I be able to do all these.. and since I control water-"

"You have immunity to it," Marco finished for him. 'He can control fire and water, what devil fruit is that yoi?'

"Ding ding ding, you got it right," he chuckled before wincing in pain.

"Alright, but are you going to stay there forever? Doesn't it hurt?" Marco asked again, at this point sitting next to the bathtub.

"Oh, it hurts alright, I'm just not crying or complaining about it, and I'm healing. I heal about three times faster than normal humans, just not as fast as you should be healing Mr. Phoenix.'' Luffy said, realising who he was. "So...I had my suspicions, but what was Whitebeard's first mate doing, drowning?" The raven asked with an amused smile but narrowed eyes.

"Normal people would be crying or moaning about it now, yoi."

"Well I'm not normal, as you probably already know, so?"

He sighed. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you or anything and I have no motives. Something happened and I- should've died yoi. So, thank you," he said as he grimaced and gritted his teeth..

"You guys were betrayed, weren't you? That's why... you were stabbed in the back," Luffy said softly, "and you're welcome, you didn't seem like a bad guy anyway...or a bad bird?" he chuckled.

"Funny," Marco said dryly, "yeah yoi, one of the oldest crew members, he stabbed one of my brothers in the back for a damn devil fruit yoi," he spat out. He noticed Luffy grimaced looking down, while his hand unconsciously brushed against the scar on his neck. Marco raised an eyebrow at that. Then he dropped his hand and took a deep, calming, breath.

"Well...good riddance right?" He said, smiling tightly.

"Were you betrayed before, yoi?" asked Marco carefully. "Of course you don't have to tell me yoi" he added quickly when Luffy turned and just stared at him.

"Hmm... well since you told me your story, the least I can do is tell you mine right?" he grinned.

"Okay yoi,"

"Well, it was about a year ago actually, maybe a little longer. I just escaped and was weak and wounded. I landed on an island that had 2 small towns on either side of the island. This lady found me in the alley and wanted to help me but I just couldn't trust so easily but after arguing with her, I got exhausted and just agreed. Her house was small, by the side of the forest. Anyway, I was still struggling, but slowly I opened up to her after about five months. She can be demanding but still nice. Then one day, she found out I was an escaped slave… and decided to contact the authorities in exchange for...money. What she didn't know was I wasn't just a slave and tons of agents were sent to hunt me down. That night she attacked me while I was asleep. She wanted to hold me hostage but when I woke up, my eyes were golden… She freaked out, called me a monster and decided to kill me. I barely dodged it because I was surprised and it still cut the side of my neck. I killed her instinctively, messily stitched my neck and wrapped it extremely tight with a bandage, hoping it'll stop the bleeding," Luffy took a deep breath, exhaled and continued, "when I pack up and went to leave, the town was on fire and some people were getting dragged and taken. I couldn't just leave, so I fought them all night. Honestly, I'm still surprised I managed that with a bleeding neck," -Luffy laughed hollowly- "when the morning came, they were all dead and everyone was freed but they decided it was safer to capture me and give me up, should they come back. I was really weak by then, even standing was a struggle and I didn't want to kill the villagers. I didn't know what to do and just ran but there were more incoming enemy ships further ahead, so I did the only thing I could think of and dived into the sea. Since they didn't know I had water resistance they searched and searched but couldn't find me and assumed I was dead. I met Aone then, he carried me to this island and here I am..." he chuckled mirthlessly.

Marco finally realises why he was staying here on a secluded island alone, avoiding humans. "I see yoi, sorry for making you remember," he offered. 'Not just a slave yoi?' He wanted to ask but decided to drop them for now.

"It's alright...I'm over it anyway, I just learned a lesson the hard way I guess. So…I hope you won't betray me, neh," he faltered, smiling sadly at him. Marco would've pouted but he would never.

"I promise I won't yoi," he said, frowning and staring at those yellow eyes to make sure he understood.

"Alright… Now get out pineapple man. I need to clean myself up and we can't bathe together anymore now~" he said as he stood up wincing while still slightly bleeding. Marco gained a tick mark hearing the nickname and willed himself from blushing making Luffy smirk.

'He's doing this on purpose yoi,' he groaned and said "you're still bleeding yoi."

"Mmhm, but less and can be wrapped with a bandage. Also, you're bleeding again, it needs to be changed," the raven said, grabbing Marco and turning him around to inspect the wound on his back. He grazed the wound softly, sending shivers down the blond's spine and gulping. "Hmm, it seems stretched. Must've happened when you forced your transformation."

"Do you know why my devil fruit doesn't work yoi?" He asked, distracting himself.

"I'll explain later, also go dig up my closet to see if there's anything you can wear," he said, now looking Marco up and down. He was taller than him by almost a foot, had a blond pineapple hairdo which he found amusing, an overall bored looking face with half lidded ocean blue eyes and a broad muscular body with a distinct purple tattoo on his chest that looked like a cross with a crescent facing up underneath it. The blond was good-looking but Luffy didn't want to show it so he acted neutral. "I don't think you would find any shirt but I had some extremely loose pants so go find some" he said again, pushing the blond out.

It was his turn to bathe and when he came out of the bathroom he saw Luffy trying to wrap himself in bandages. Keyword 'trying'. He was failing and pouting at the bandages. The blond raised an eyebrow and chuckled at the scene making the teen look up and pouted more.

"I read so many books on medical stuff but I still can't get how to wrap bandages at all!, ughh," he whined, throwing his arms in the air and getting tangled in bandages. It was overall adorable but he was wondering how the raven could still sit there with all those wounds.

"Here let me do it for you yoi," he offered. The teen nodded, he looked like he could drop dead at any second. So Marco wrapped him up quickly and by the time he finished, Luffy had already fallen asleep, leaning on him, making him sigh. He guessed questions could wait till tomorrow as he picked the raven up and placed him on the bed before wrapping himself up next. Settling down for the night on the carpet and bean bag instead.

A little unrealistic on the wounds side, I guess... now that I read it but lets just say his devil fruit keeps him pretty resilient. Also Luffy's not like super great at singing and drawing, he's just good but the drawing well honestly like Marco said 'more splotches of colors'.

I know it's an OP df so I considered making his haki a little weaker and untrained.
