The awaited war of best, the big reveal. The whole world will finally know the elemental fox while the World Government finally realising the monster they had created would be their doom.

ocdbrownie - here's the continuation, of course I saved Ace I'm sucker for good endings. Also this will reveal a bit about Sabo, I'm still planning a reveal for the past. Thanks for the review too!

I think every badass and OP Luffy were made for the sole purpose of being a show off in Marineford and saving the 2 people we don't want dead. At least I think so. I might've made Luffy too strong or if you think it's okay then great! Hope you love the fighting scenes, strategy and short interactions.

The POV kept changing, it might be confusing but it should still be understandable, hopefully. This is a longer chapter!

Enjoy~

Chapter 13 ~ The Raven Fox (Marineford)

Ace landed in Impel Down as soon as Teach turned him in. Several days later, Jinbei also ended up in the cell with him because he didn't want to go to war against the Whitebeards. Why would they come to war for him…? He didn't want anyone dying for him anymore, Luffy was taken away protecting him and was probably de-. No! no! He didn't want to go there anymore… Maybe he'll see Luffy in the afterlife but Sabo and Luffy would be mad if he just gave up and that would mean leaving his only brother alone. Ace was in agony, his bones were creaking, chained in an awkward position but he would never let them have any satisfaction and maintained a poker face even with all the beatings he got. Besides, this imprisonment tortures him mentally more than physically. His brain running wild with no control in a dark, depressing place is not good. Luckily, Jinbei was there to distract him and Ace didn't know why, but he started telling him about Luffy even though he and Sabo avoided the topic like a plague before.

"So what you are saying is that you have another brother, Ace-kun?" Jinbei's voice echoed in their cell. Ace was sure some of the closer prisoners were listening but he couldn't be bothered right now.

"Yeah, he was about 3 years younger than me and Sabo but his devil fruit made him stronger than us," Ace reminiscence, "We used to spar everyday, the rule was 100 matches per person so 50-50. Even though he won't win 50 to 0, he always wins by more," he chuckled slightly.

"So your younger brother is a bigger monster than you are," Crocodile scoffed, "good that he is gone then."

"What did you say?! Bastard," Ace snarled, straining his arms as he jerked forward with murder in his grey eyes. The man only laughed, satisfied that he managed to trigger the Whitebeard commander. "Feeling safe in your cell huh? Crocy," Ace smirked when the man growled in return.

Jinbei could only shake his head at Ace's hotheadedness, "it's not worth it Ace," Jinbei said. After Ace stopped glaring at the sandman and hung his head down again Jinbei asked, "so, what's his name and what does he look like?" Mostly to distract Ace and himself from their predicament.

Though, he wasn't expecting the man to swing his head up excitedly, eyes shining so bright it was basically lighting up their cell. Though it turned dull and sad just as fast, the small smile remained on his face. "Luffy, his name's Monkey D. Luffy and he's the cutest little kid i've ever seen."

Jinbei wondered if it was a brother's bias but knew better than to comment on it. Ace was protective of his brother, Sabo and he guessed the protectiveness of his lost baby brother would be on another level completely. Wait... "Monkey D.? As in Monkey D. Garp?!" JInbei's eyes were wide.

Ace growled at that, "yes he's his grandpa," he spat the word venomously.

"Can I...can I know what happened?" Jinbei asked cautiously.

Ace was silent, he hasn't talked about that in so many years and didn't know if he wanted to start now. But he might die and maybe Jinbei can tell his new family about his baby brother that could've been their family too and a part of his past he had hidden. So he did, spent the whole week telling his blue fishman friend about Luffy and occasionally arguing with the damn sandman in the opposite cell.

In summary, JInbei found out Luffy was a happy go lucky kid that loved the sea and freedom. The kid had a fox model devil fruit which made him really strong, he could also communicate with animals (he wasn't sure this was true but didn't say a thing while crocodile called bullshit). He had black hair and a scar below his left eye, according to Ace his brother was 'angelic', which he doubted. Finally, the most important part is that Ace loved his ball of sunshine very very much! and had lost him.

A week had gone by in a flash and today is the execution day, he didn't know how the marines found out about his father. Ace really regretted not listening to oyaji. Though, he had found out that Thatch and Marco were alive and back from Jinbe. He was so glad to hear that because if he had died after Thatch and Marco, oyaji would be devastated. At least now it would be fine if he died… Luffy and Sabo always told him his hotheadedness would be the cause of his death and he would laugh if he wasn't locked up in Impel Down waiting for his execution. There were 6 hours left when he found out Sabo had invaded the prison in search of him and maybe he wanted to be saved to avoid war but he's worried for his blond brother. Ace can't lose another brother, he's not sure he'll survive that.

However, after 6 hours, his brother was still not there and he was transported to Marineford. He hoped Sabo was alright as he walked up the execution platform and chained down on his knees. Their adoptive grandpa 'Garp the Fist' was sitting next to him face grim but the raven couldn't care less. They hated him for what happened to their baby brother, marines of at least captain levels were sent to their island to take them. The old man was nowhere and searched for their brother for 2 years before telling them his brother was probably dead, executed discretely due to his sensitive age. Both he and his brother were doomed to death since they were young because of their fathers, at least Luffy's father was still searching for his son but even with the revolutionary's network they still couldn't find him and over the years they were losing hope.

"I'm sorry Ace," Garp said.

"Sure old man, whatever you say but the truth is you're just letting another one of us die," he said dryly.

"This was your choice Ace, I told you to NOT become a pirate!"

"Yeah, so to be a marine?!" Ace barked, "No way are we becoming the thing that took our baby brother!" He was getting angry now and would have burst into flames if he could.

Sengoku was watching this at the corner of his eyes having been standing next to Ace on the other side, He began talking to the audience on a den-den mushi about who Ace's father was and how his mother had made it possible for him to survive even with the extensive search after Gold Roger was executed, Ace kept shouting that his father was Whitebeard and not Roger, which was ignored in favour of stating that they were ending Roger's bloodline and was worth the war, he was however interrupted when a marine came and informed him that the gate of justice was opened without any authorisation. A fleet of famous New World pirates, all of them Whitebeard allies, were sailing to the base. He quickly ordered everyone to prepare for a battle as he watched the arrivals for Whitebeard himself but couldn't locate the famous Moby Dick among the fleet. The ships positioned themselves in a way that allowed for an empty space in the middle and Sengoku had a small idea what it was for. After a while it was proven true when the whale themed ship appeared together with 3 other smaller ships from underwater, having been coated in bubbles.

Ace was still surprised his family had come for him along with all their allies, Even though he had heard it from JInbei, seeing it with his own eyes is different. His eyes pricked with tears threatening to fall and called out to his 'oyaji' who just responded to Sengoku 'I hope my son wasn't harmed'. Ace was ashamed to admit that he was happy that they had come for him, he scanned the commanders and noticed that Thatch and Marco were there alive and well, looking ready to fight and smiling at him. There was a call for Ace from the pirates and the war began.

Whitebeard had punched the air where cracks appeared, creating massive shockwaves which resulted in a tsunami, freaking out all the marines. However, before it could hit the bay, Aokiji, one of the admirals used his hie-hie no mi devil fruit, 'Ice Age', to freeze all the water creating a sort of dome, trapping the ships and forming a platform for the pirates and marines to fight on. Cannons fired, marine and pirates alike fought, Mihawk sent a slashing attack towards the main ship which was blocked by 'Diamond' Jozu. KIzaru, another admiral, appeared in the air and started shooting light beams at Whitebeard which was intercepted by Marco.

"Araa~ I thought the fire bird drowned and died," Akainu drawled. "Ah~ how scary," he said lazily while exchanging blows with Marco in the air.

However, before anything else could proceed, suddenly the ice beside Whitebeard cracked and bubbled loudly, attracting everyone's attention especially since the pirates themselves seemed clueless. Soon enough it melted, and a burst of white flame inferno shot up, shocking everyone silent. Marco recognised those flames and smirk, looks like his 'lover' is here and the raven was dramatic, what an entrance. Everyone stared at the melted circle of ice before suddenly an extremely huge sea king rose up as high as Whitebeard, followed by 2 smaller sea kings behind it. The pirates and marines were wondering what was going on, but Sengoku and the admiral's eyes widened. They had an idea who it was, they were the ones who had ensured the raven was chained and classified but hadn't expected him to be here. Whitebeard looked amused and interested at the new arrival, 'this must be the Luffy brat,' he thought while Thatch was waving enthusiastically. Ace was quiet, eyes narrowed, he remembered someone who could communicate with animals and sea kings, Luffy. But it couldn't be right?! Garp had the same look and thought. They noticed a single person, quite small, sitting on the largest sea king, petting it and talking to it before he stood up. The person was covered in a black cloak, he stood up and stretched, finally noticing Thatch.

"Yo," he waved at Thatch and turned towards Sengoku, "starting war without me, goat-ossan? Do you remember me?" He asked darkly and coldy, tilting his still hidden head sideways slightly. There were snickers and Sengoku was pinching his nose bridge. Nothing was going right today, he felt a headache coming.

"Ah~, this is troublesome," Kizaru said as he realised who had arrived, he tried to attack Luffy appearing in front of him and shooting a beam. Everyone watched as the person jumped off the sea king, pulling out a black bladed ninjato and reflecting the beam towards the sky in one swift motion before resheathing. Then landed back on the ice platform and told the sea king something. Kizaru's attack had restarted the paused battle and war cries could again be heard.

Everyone was surprised at the show of strength, not everyone could hold back an admiral. Marco whistled, his lover's hot. Mihawk was proud but didn't show it, he knew Luffy was coming. Though he had to hold back an eye roll and groaned inwardly at the dramatics (Not realising he was the same). Doflamingo was excited, laughing his ass off and Moria wanted the interesting person's shadow. Luffy geppo-ed over to Whitebeard before Kizaru could start attacking him again.

"I'll get to your son up there," he told him nonchalantly. Marco kept quiet but held back a sigh, of course the raven would be like that, that cheeky fox. He had to focus on saving Ace right now

"What makes you think I would trust you," he questioned as the war continued all around, "you're just a brat, aren't you?" He boomed, provoking the teen on purpose.

"Hmmm…well suit yourself, I will do whatever I want old man," his wide feral grin could be seen underneath the cloak, "If I get to him first I'll save him, this'll be fun~" the person said. Whitebeard laughed his signature laugh, the brat was cheeky.

The person didn't wait for a response and jumped into the fray, flexible and brutal. Every hit and stab was mostly fatal, he was using a pair of daggers and knew most if not all of the marine's rokushikis. The marines were in a mess, trying to stop him and were confused because this person knew the secret marine techniques. Whitebeard decided to sit down and watch, Marco settled beside him. The admirals opted to do the same. They noticed that the teen was very used to working alone, he always made sure his back was covered or clear. The several times he was stabbed was ignored like he didn't even feel it, Whitebeard wondered if he could heal but from the way Marco's eyes twitch slightly every time he's hit, he didn't think so. A giant charged and he geppo-ed sending several rankyakus and stabbing the giant neck while hanging from it.

Then the most interesting thing happened when he used his devil fruit. He threw his daggers at a marine that was going to attack a pirate from the back, then aimed a fire tendrils out of his two fingers. It twirled around the embedded dagger and burned marines on it's path, he flicked his fingers towards him and the dagger flew back to his hands. The fire was tangible which was odd and his control was amazing and Marco was mesmerised, Whitebeard only smiled slightly with a knowing look.

Whitebeard knew that Oars, a giant, charging was reckless since he was a big target but he wouldn't listen in his rush to save Ace. He quickly became the target, attacked by marines and Kuma's 'Ursus Shock'. Then his legs got sliced off by Doflamingo, who was still laughing and the teen quickly sent a fire burning Oars stump as said giant proceeded to faint. Many marines were surprised and the pirates were shouting at him which was ignored by the teen until a doctor from their allied crews stopped them and said he only cauterised the wound preventing further blood loss. Well, that was an insanely quick judgement but in a war it was probably crucial. Then out of nowhere a battleship fell from the sky filled with prisoners, Jinbei and a certain blond brother that left for the revolutionary army years ago.

"SABOOOOO!" Ace called out from the platform. Glad to see his brother manage to escape from Impel down.

"ACEEEEEE!" Sabo replied, "I'm lateee!"

"Son," Whitebeard called to Sabo, "so you came."

"Of course, oyaji, family is forever," before turning serious, "oyaji, I heard the marine's plan of some sort though it seems kind of suspicious that we managed to 'hear' it." But he proceeded to tell Whitebeard anyway including the plan to execute Ace earlier which made them all frown in anger.

"You're right, Sengoku would not make such a mistake," he said thoughtfully, "we'll tread carefully for now."

Before Sabo joined the fray he turned to look at the cloaked man fighting several high ranking marines at once. Shooting out several air blades from his legs as he did a spin to kick a closer marine in the face then proceeded to use his dagger to stab a man in front of him and throw another dagger at another marine. "Who's the cloaked guy? I thought that's a revolutionary thing," Sabo wondered aloud, grudgingly amazed.

"Honestly I have no idea myself, son," he said grinning, "you should ask Marco later, but for now he is helping us."

Whitebeard noticed the marine battleships that were slowly surrounding them from the back to cage them in. He suspected it had something to do with Sengoku's plans and ordered his crew to take them down since it would block their escape later. While some allies headed to attack the battleships, several sea kings rose and took down the battleships easily for them, either by flipping them or biting them. Even with kairoseki coating it was useless, it allowed them to pass the calm belt unnoticed but it didn't exactly prevent an obvious straight out attack. They were surprised and assumed they would be attacked, only for the sea king to dive back and target only marines, confusion spread but it was pushed to the back in favour of focusing on the war. Whitebeard had an inkling that their mystery ally had to do with it and noticed Sengoku's face turning grimmer after he observed what happened.

Pacifistas were led into the battlefield by a huge man holding an axe but they were ordered to attack anyone but the Whitebeards making the huge captain frown in thought. It didn't take long for him to figure out what the plan was when one of his allies, Squard, came and attempted to kill him. The only reason he failed was because Marco was still nearby as his son lunged and pinned the man down with rage glowing in his blue eyes. Akainu, who had returned to his seat below the platform, clicked his tongue as his plan failed.

"What do you think you're doing yoi!?" Marco growled, pinning said man on the ground.

"He was planning to betray us! You're selling your allies for Ace to be the Pirate King!" The man accused, hurt in his eyes. Some people were distracted by the shouting and the scene while Luffy shook his head after listening to that. Must've been one of the marine's plans, he had to admit the marines always had a pretty good and elaborate plan set up. Luffy used to follow them to a T to avoid him getting punished or worse, 'he' could have been punished.

"I made no such plan!" Whitebeard boomed, angered. His ally looked confused, "Let him go, Marco." Slightly hesitant, Marco obliged. Whitebeard kneeled to be eye level with the other captain.

"You knew! you knew I hated Roger but you were sheltering his son!"

Whitebeard frowned, "weren't you friends? Does his father affect that at all? He's still Ace, not Roger!" Akainu had taken advantage of the man's hatred towards Roger to fuel this betrayal and that made him very angry.

"But-but Akainu said you were..." the man trailed off, eyes widening in realisation that he had been played and lowered his head in shame. However, Whitebeard proceeded to hug said man and forgave him.

Whitebeard finally jumped off his ship and used his powers to crack the ice behind which were blocking their retreat. "Whoever that wishes to leave may do so, if not then join me and put your lives on the line!" He thundered, joining the fight.

Luffy grinned under his cape, "looks like the old man's finally joining us~" he sing-songed, loud enough only for those nearby to hear him.

Whitebeard then proceeded to send a devastating quake that tilted the entire island and surrounding sea but it was stopped by the three admirals before it reached the platform. However, by then the marines had mostly disappeared from the bay. Luffy noticed, of course, since his opponents left him to retreat. But he's not sure what he could do anyway other than maintaining his balance and advancing.

Suddenly, weird clanking noises of gears working were heard and metal walls rose up, surrounding and entrapping the pirates. Luckily, one of them was blocked and jammed by the huge giant that had fallen earlier. The pirates noticed that his weight might've held it down but the blood flowing from his many wounds also contributed to jamming it. But that didn't deter Sengoku from ordering Akainu to proceed with the plan. The admiral geppo-ed into the sky and shot out several magma balls into the sky which rained down into the bay, the pirates were trapped and could only try to avoid it. Luffy geppo-ed to avoid it as well while dragging a blond guy in a top hat close to him along. The two of them were ahead of everyone in the bay.

"Thanks," the man said, grinning through pants, "I'm Sabo by the way."

Luffy's head suddenly pounded painfully but disappeared soon after, he only grunted in response. "Not the time," he said and left him to blow away a smaller magma.

Some of the better swordsmen managed to slice the magma fists while Luffy used his fire to burn back some or blow the smaller ones away. Ice melted causing the pirates to lose their footing while many ships were getting burned down. Luffy hated it, he could hear 'them' crying. He had heard of klabautermann of course though his tiny dinghy was to small to have one (well, it was a little hard to love a small plain dinghy). When Moby Dick was hit, it's cries were so much louder that Luffy growled and blew strong gusts of wind to at least extinguish the burning fires left by the magma.

The raven was starting to get pissed at this damn war, his sea king friends were helping lift fallen pirates back onto ice but the water was hot and hurting them, even if not very bad. Once most pirates gained footing, Luffy quickly refreeze some of the ground, providing more footing. While most didn't notice Luffy involved and were just confused with the sudden help, some had noticed. Those people began to wonder what devil fruit was it and who he was. Fortunately, unfortunately? they didn't have to wait long for answers.

Realising nothing would go right with him alive, Sengoku ordered the admirals to execute the cloaked person now. All three admirals rushed him, magma, ice and light beams aimed at him. Marco was going to fly there and intercept it when the teen burst in yellow flames creating a tall ring of wall around him. He had let his extremely torn up cloak burn away revealing the mysterious guy, it was unexpected. The person was revealed to be a teen around 19 to 21 years old, he was wearing a tight black short sleeved turtleneck and long tight black pants clad with holsters and weapons. He had daggers on his thigh holsters, a ninjanto on right sash, a nodachi slung on his back, a bag of throwing knives, and a collapsible bo staff at his back. However, he looked kind of cute with huge fox ears and 5 tails swishing at his back. The most noticeable thing was his golden eyes, said person had a small frown and a cold look. Everyone was outright gaping, there were exclamations from some marines and pirates who recognised him.

"the assassin!" "The Golden Reaper!" "What is he doing here?!" "No!" "Wasn't he dead?"

"I told you all he's cute!" Thatch exclaimed in victory even though he was covered in blood.

"Not the time!" The Whitebeards shouted with shark teeth and facepalmed in fond exasperation. Luffy chuckled slightly in amusement.

"LUFFY!?" Ace shouted in shock and relief, tears flowing down his face now, "you're alive!" But what the raven said next broke his heart.

"Do I know you?" Luffy asked coldly. He tilted his head sideways, ears twitching cutely. However, right now Luffy didn't look like his normal innocent baby brother at all. His familiar golden eyes were battle hardened and cold, face emotionless. Ace had been watching this person fight and he was brutal, was this really his baby brother? What happened to him that did this to him? Ace wondered, clenching his hand.

Sabo froze at what Ace said, that guy was their adorable innocent baby brother?! HOW? And he didn't remember Ace! Did he forget him too? He was palling, trembling, and tears were dripping but still smiling. At least he was alive! Dragon would be happy to know.

The Whitebeards were surprised, did the brothers know this guy? They were both crying but the teen didn't seem to recognise them. The Golden Reaper was that young? Did Marco know? Garp seems livid, shouting at Sengoku about something. Marco was shocked, who is Luffy to his brothers? They didn't know Luffy had amnesia but it couldn't be that bad right? At least Sabo and Ace looked relieved, happy, even if they looked a little hurt at the fact that they were forgotten. Boa Hancock was gushing, she remembered him as a slave when she was in Mariejois, she was glad he was alive. Doflamingo was super interested now, licking his lips, Mihawk was sighing quietly. They saw Garp sat down, face on his hands with his shoulders trembling.

Then Sengoku announced, "This teen is a cold blooded killer-"

Luffy interrupted the man, scoffing, "couldn't control me anymore so you decided to finally dispose of me, isn't that right?"

Sengoku ignored the statement, "This man is the Son of Dragon! 'The Most Wanted Man in the World'. His bloodline is as dangerous as the Pirate King's. He must be executed-"

"Like you should've, when you captured me 10 years ago," the teen announced monotonously, loud enough for the audience to hear, "oh no, couldn't put me in Impel Down because Grap might do something stupid, couldn't execute a 10 year old kid. So you made me a weapon, an item, perfect for you, isn't it?" he asked mockingly and smiling darkly, with a borderline crazed look. Everyone watched the exchange and while there was only disgust and hate in the pirate's eyes, there was conflict and shame in some marine's eyes. Ace and Sabo were stunned into gaping fishes.

"It doesn't matter! You have the blood of a demon! I should've done this the first time I met you!" barked Akainu, which made Luffy laugh with mock humour.

"Aww, sensei, haven't you burned me enough~" Luffy said in a mockingly sweet tone, dodging an attack. Akainu growled in annoyance.

"S-sensei?!"

Sengoku had ordered someone to cut off the den-den mushi broadcast halfway through the raven's speech, making Luffy chuckle mirthlessly. The raven was now unsheathing the long sword on his back, he held the sword in a lax and lazy manner and they had to wonder if he knew how to use it. Mihawk was ordered to intercept his hit but he said 'the deal was only to fight Whitebeard and no one else,' while stepping away. The raven sent several large slashing attacks towards the base, Kizaru tried to intercept it with a haki coated leg but couldn't hold it and was flung back towards the base. The rest of the slashes hitting the mark destroying the base, the raven laughed sinisterly and grinned ferally before continuing to charge. Marco had never seen Luffy that dark, it made him worry. He decided to fly to Luffy, who was now holding back 2 admirals.

Marco landed beside him, "Luffy, how are you holding up?" He asked hesitantly, scared of how the raven would respond.

The raven turned to him and beamed as usual, animosity totally gone, "Ohhh~ hello my pineapple, whatchu doing here?!" He replied as they fought the admirals, Aokiji raised an eyebrow to the statement while Akainu only got angrier. Marco was sighing with relief, wondering if the teen had a switch to change moods. However, he noticed Luffy was kind of beat up with cuts and burns littering his body. He was also panting slightly.

"Marco, save your brother while they're occupied with me," he heard the raven whisper only for him to hear.

Marco was hesitant but suddenly the executioners moved, planning to execute Ace early and he instantly nodded, quickly flying towards Ace. He flew towards the platform but was intercepted by Garp, everyone panicked while Ace just looked resigned. Sabo was crying for Ace as he charged even harder. Whitebeard interfered, angry now and blasted his haki causing the executioners and marines to drop. The teen was getting pushed back and worn out fighting Akainu and Aokiji even if the ice user seemed a little reluctant. The commanders noticed the exhaustion too and tried to help. Whitebeard decided to provoke Akainu making him fight him instead, Aokiji was taken care of by his commanders while Mihawk was fighting Vista. Noticing the help, Luffy quickly used his powers to create a mirage and disappeared before anyone could notice.

Luffy sneaked into the plaza, cooling and heating air takes up energy and erasing his presence requires focus but he somehow managed to reach the platform unnoticed, right behind the Ace guy.

Luffy whispered, "psst, I'm here to get you out, act normal," Ace perked up slightly and gave a slight nod, "I'm going to pick your lock, wait for my okay and pretend till then," Ace nodded again. Then the raven got to work, tongue sticking out in concentration while using 2 pins he had kept with his throwing knives to unlock the sea stone cuffs.

There was a loud click but it was overshadowed by the fighting noise, Luffy grinned in success and proceeded to slide the cuffs off slowly and quietly. "Hey, can you hide your presence?" Luffy asked, Ace nodded. Thankfully he had learnt to do that since his young hunting days and his control on observation haki helps too. Luffy then included Ace in his mirage and the prisoner disappeared from view.

For a while, no one noticed until there was silence. Everyone panicked and they were running further away from the platform before Garp intercepted them, managing to feel their hidden presence. Luffy dropped on his knees panting, at this point he was burned thanks to Akainu and bleeding everywhere. He glared at Garp who was surprised, not realising he had intercepted his grandsons. Ace was surprised, he didn't know Luffy was the one who saved him again.

"Ace! Luffy!" Sabo shouted as he ran towards them, abandoning the previous marines he was beating up.

"Failed to help them capture me 10 years ago, so you're trying again now?" the raven mocked, "'gramps''" Luffy spat and Ace could see his grandpa wince. So Luffy remembers the kuso-jiji so why didn't he remember him? Does his baby brother hate him?

Everyone was surprised again for the nth time, the prisoner was already several metres away from the platform when he reappeared, together with the main interest of this war. Facing off against Garp the Fist, that's not good.

Luffy noticed the hesitation and charged with his dagger on the left and ninjato on the right. His brother had been good at fighting since young but now he was great, Ace observed. But for once, his hit wasn't a vital one as he slashed at Garp's chest and the old man just pretended as he stayed down crying into the floor. Luffy looked angry and hurt at the same time as they ran and Ace couldn't help feeling glad, it meant Luffy wasn't as cold hearted as he had looked.

Whitebeard noticed the situation and ordered a retreat, everyone cheered as they retreated until Akainu started insulting Whitebeard.

Ace had stopped in his tracks, turned back and started arguing with Akainu, Luffy groaned loudly, 'stupid,' he thought.

"Stop! He's playing you, don't be stupid!" Luffy yelled.

Sabo arrived soon, pulling Ace back, "Yeah Ace, come on Luffy's right! We got to go Now!"

However before Ace could listen Akainu started putting Whitebeard down and comparing him to Roger, the man Ace hated the most, Sabo had to give Akainu points for knowing just how to trigger Ace. His hot headed brother had charged recklessly at the magma man while his little brother (that can't remember them) was glowering in frustration. Fire couldn't win against magma, the result was Ace getting burns.

To make things worse, that was when Blackbeard and his band of criminals decided to show up and everything was a mess. Marco was facing Kizaru, the commanders were facing either the Warlords or the marines and Ace was against Akainu.

Luffy noticed most of the pirates were near the ship already except for Whitebeard, Marco and several others including Ace and the blond guy which were near him. There were many wounded pirates but there were less deaths on the pirates side. Luffy had tried to cover some of them with throwing knives and his fires.

Blackbeard was losing because he thought that Whitebeard would've been more weakened at this point which was a mistake. The traitor was so smug when he touched his captain, disabling his devil fruit that the fat man forgot that the strongest man in the world didn't need his devil fruit. Luffy had scoffed in amusement when Blackbeard laughed in victory only to get smashed back to the ground. However, it was keeping Whitebeard occupied. Some of the marines took out those useless but painful kairoseki air javelin gun thingy and while most didn't work on Whitebeard due to his quick armament haki and thick body. It did hit Marco several times but Marco just pulled it out, melting the chains and healed instantly as soon as it was out.

"Ace, stop letting him manipulate you and let's go!" Luffy tried again, "Why do you care what that dog barks, does it matter that much what a marine's opinion is on your captain?!" He shouted.

"Who are you to be saying stuff like that! You don't even remember me!" Ace retorted, still fighting Akainu. Everyone else was shouting at him to stop too.

Luffy groaned, "you are being stupid! We came to save you, if you die we would have LOST!" HE shouted harshly. That seemed to get to the flame user's head as he groaned and reluctantly turned around. Then Luffy realised someone aiming the kairoseki gun at the hothead and he just moved in instinct, taking the hit. Luffy growled in pain and fell on his knees, it was better him anyway, Ace would've died. But then he saw Akainu smirking and was getting ready to charge. 'FUCK!'

"Why would you do that for me! You don't even remember me, Luffy!" Ace shouted in panic. He was ready to block a magma punch from Akainu towards Luffy with his body (he was not losing Luffy again) but luckily Sabo intercepted the fist with a haki coated pipe. Ace stood up to back him up.

Luffy quickly pry off the javelin that was embedded inside, grunting loudy and cursing more colourful than Ace and Sabo have ever heard him do. It doesn't work well but certainly hurts like a bitch, he could hear Marco shouting the blond in top hat's and Ace's name. So, the blond guy was called Sabo huh. He melted the chain and stood up to see Sabo and Ace on the ground and was about to be burned.

"STOP!" Luffy shouted and could feel his untamed conqueror's haki released. Everyone went silent for a moment in shock as some marines and pirates nearby dropped and Luffy groaned, more dead weights. Akainu only paused before continuing but this time Luffy was ready, he brought his arms out, 1 of his tails swishing and flicked his wrists upwards frowning in effort as the sea water from the holes rose and trapped the admiral. Standing, ignoring the stabbing pain spreading from his midsection. He was so tired and his big wounds weren't helping, panting harshly. Blood was pooling from the previous arrow hole in his stomach. Yes, he could heal but not as fast as a phoenix.

Everyone stared at the display, 'WHAT THE FUCK?' went through the marine's head and the pirates were just grateful he was on their side.

Whitebeard quickly commanded them to retreat as a final order while holding back Aokiji and the pirates panicked. But eventually obeyed, picking fainted allies while some of the commanders came and dragged Sabo and Ace away as Luffy trapped the admiral. Marco still occupied with Kizaru, preventing the admirals from helping their trapped colleague.

Luffy was getting kind of dizzy but was still choking Akainu in a bubble of water then another of his tail rose up, he gripped his hand and the water froze along with Akainu in it while he also dropped on his knees. The edges of his vision darkened as he blinked furiously to clear it. The marines were silenced, Sengoku quickly ordered them to kill the fox while he was exhausted, recognising the future threat, they charged the exhausted raven. Kizaru left chained Marco in favour of killing said teen. Ace and Sabo were screaming and struggling against the people carrying them.

"No! Let Me Go, I can't lose him again!" Ace screamed desperately, crying.

"Let Us Go! We can't leave Luffy!" Sabo shouted as loudly in panic.

The pirates realised there was some sort of story here. Jinbei knew right from the beginning once he laid his eyes on the boy and quickly moved to help, determined to prevent Ace losing him again. Ivonkov also had noticed the boy was the one Dragon was looking for, his son. MIhawk was already cutting people in his path to reach the teen, 'screw his position,' he thought. Boa Hancock was also beating up random marines saying that she doesn't discriminate and hates the world government anyway. Whitebeard wanted to help too but was too far away and was still getting attacked by Blackbeard's crew even when their captain was downed. Marco was trapped in kairoseki shackles and couldn't heal nor transform, he was getting attacked by tons of marines at once, then Luffy saw him chained and he snarled.

Marco was fighting Kizaru but he noticed Ace, the hothead, stop and argue with Akainu. Sometimes his hotheaded brother can be really stupid! Though Luffy said something that managed to get to his hard head but as they were running he noticed Luffy taking a hit meant for Ace. His captain's (father's) order had caught the blond off guard and some random marine had managed to attach a kairoseki cuff on his right ankle. Thankfully Kizaru left him but it was in favour of attacking Luffy, the raven managed to down Akainu and was now panting harsly on the ground. His brothers had dragged Ace and Sabo away but he was getting attacked by a bunch of marines, preventing him from reaching Luffy. His raven noticed him getting chained, his golden eyes widened slightly and burst in hot white flames causing everyone to freeze,

The next thing they saw was a regal huge black fox, it's eyes glowed golden. HIs legs were matching gold coloured, sock-shaped fur, the tip of his ears and tails too. It's chest also had a patch of golden fur. Five tails raised, it snarled dangerously, long canines glinting as the fox licked it. They charged again, the fox was dripping blood but it was vicious, tearing everyone on his way. Marco got stabbed on the chest and fell, it snapped, one of the tails lit up and a wide area burst into flames covering everything, even the waters. The marines screamed and so did some of the pirates until they realised it wasn't hurting them, as matter of fact it was cooling? It had spared Boa Hancock, Mihawk, and Garp, who was still lying on the ground.

Whitebeard noticed the perfect chance to retreat and ordered everyone to leave now, including him, this time. The admirals, vice admirals and many other high ranking marines avoided the fire using Geppo. While some opted to try and stop the pirates, some like Aokiji chose to help the burning marines. Blackbeard got burned, his crew failing to pull him along while they retreated away from the fire. Still trying to shoot him but the huge man could still defend himself from pathetic attempts like that. Thankfully the red dog was still nowhere to be seen and Kizaru was slightly easier to handle compared to the other. The marines had managed to melt Akainu out but he wasn't breathing.

Marco was struggling to get up, his wounds weren't healing thanks to the kairoseki cuffs. Luffy had reached him at some point and started nudging him with his snout, whimpering and growling slightly. Some of the commanders had arrived, they helped Marco up and dragged him away while the fox and some of the leftover commanders defended their retreat. Once Whitebeard boarded the Moby dick, the fires which were previously dancing on the ice harmlessly began melting it easily. At the same time, their ship jerked and moved away from the bay even though the ship was mostly destroyed with only a single mast left standing.

Still standing on the figurehead, the fox changed back into its human counterpart in a burst of flames, swaying on his feet. Though, before he could fall back something or someone supported him. He looked up to see Whitebeard had lent him his leg to lean on, staring at Marineford as they sailed further.

Whitebeard grinned, still not looking at him, "thanks for the help, brat! You're something else," he said, chuckling while sending several quake punches towards Marineford while Luffy let his flames burn uncontrolled.

Luffy laughed as he slid down the man's leg to sit on the wood, "I wish them luck trying to put out those fires," he said through pants, "well, if you haven't sunk it old man."

"Gurararara, you're an interesting brat!"

"Thanks?" The raven said before falling on the deck with a thud.

They panicked, worried as Whitebeard gently lifted him up but he could hear soft snores from his newest son. Yes he wants the brat. "He's just asleep but his wounds need to be treated," Whitebeard said and proceeded to laugh. He passed the raven to Marco, who had healed all his wounds once the shackle was off. The captain went to sit on the charred deck, holding back a pout at the sight of his burnt 'throne' while his children cheered once Marineford was out of sight. Their allies had split away once they were far from Marineford and the sea king pulling them left. Whitebeard turned his head up to look at the sky while his nurses worked on him, feeling glad he could save his son and live a little longer to get another. He then turned to watch the huge sea king still dragging their ship, thick rope between its mouth. So that was why the brat asked them to attach ropes. He chuckled, intersting indeed.

Woohooo, how was it? Phew, that was long.

There's many additional stuff I want to add here~ (excuse the long note)

I had to search for the Marineford events again while writing this because I didn't want to change too much. It was honestly such a complex scene and series of events that changing a single thing would lead to many different things. But since Luffy is OP it was a little easier. I've seen some fic where they changed so much but it was so well written and balanced, I have no idea how they do that.

I feel like the stab Squard dealt were one of the reason Whitebeard was weakened and joined the fight to prove he wasn't betraying them and I had to find a way to stop it. So, since Luffy was practically dominating the fight Marco could stay by his captain.

Luffy's entry was so dramatic but I love dramatic ass show off 3

I think the only thing preventing Luffy from using his devil fruit like crazy is that it takes up crazy amounts of stamina from him. That's also why he didn't use it right from the beginning. (All these are excuses made by me explaining me decisions ehehe)

Okay lets just clear this up, his 1st tail enhances his strength and senses while his 2nd was the fire, he can produce flames and control it. It's his most controlled element. 3rd was water which he cannot produce, only manipulate but the air's filled with water vapour so... to prevent OPness, using water vapour would use even more of his energy! yes! 4th is ice where he can freeze any water he manipulated but can't create it from nothing. 5th and new one is air, he can manipulate it but to an extent, he can't just make a vacuum. That would be OP I could end the whole fight by vacuuming the whole area (no living thing can survive vacuum) he can't control the components either e.g. removing O2 (same issue).

In terms of stamina, his 1st tail uses almost nothing, fire more but still okay (depends on the control, e.g burning everything is easier vs burning some and not some), wind also less straining compared to water and ice. But water is the hardest. Remember, he has unlocked all the haki but it wasn't trained and was left behind. Focusing more on combat and swordsmanship.

I thought it was unfair that they made Whitebeard die when he barely used any powers that Kaido and BIg Mom had, Ik people theorized it was because he was old and sick (and maybe the stab) but he was supposed to be super strong, strong enough to deter Kaido and Big Mom (meaning equal in power or more right?!). Just my opinion okay, no hate.

How was the escape? I thought with such a perfect chance even Whitebeard would take it to escape since he wouldn't need to cover his children as much. Luffy's tired AF at this point btw, pushing his limits, he's just sick of the war. I haven't decided if I want Akainu dead yet, he might survive. But Blackbeard's def dead, even if he wasn't dead the marines would at least get them for a small victory.

Hie hie - ice ice/ chilly chilly

Kuso-jiji - shitty gramps I think (sorry for the inconsistent use)
