A/N: Hey guys I wanna share something with y'all. The reason why I always want some form of kids in all my series. Whether born or adopted, I have an issue that is causing both me and my hubby to suffer. It's very difficult for me to conceive, I have Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome and that's why it's so tough. I'm worried that one day I'm gunna turn forty and find out it's too late. So I play video games and have sims have a family and kids or I write about someone or two someones rather having a kid or two or three. But in the end it just reminds me of my own difficulties. I mean I'm already closing in on thirty-six in another year and we want to have two kids before it's too late at least.
It doesn't help that I prolly miscarried twins back when I was seventeen. So yeah it may sound a little desperate but that's where my heads at and if I could go see a magical fairy to fix my fertility issue, I would, in a heartbeat. Anyway enjoy the chappie!

It was several days of working harder than ever before, he couldn't believe he and Iki both had to do extra duty. He barely had time to spend with Link these days, let alone confront the other male about what he had discovered while they were in Hateno. He sighed as he entered their roost, it was lunch time and Link wasn't inside today. It seemed so often the case but with the irregular work hours and not always being released to eat as often. He had wondered if the other had made his punishment worse when he spotted the other male speaking with the chief. Thankfully his worry was for naught, it seemed someone had told his mate about that particular taboo. He had asked the chief before he returned to the roost that day what his mate had said. He had never seen the chief laugh so much before, then he answered with the length of his punishment. It was then he realized that he had forgotten to tell Link before he literally passed out the night prior.
He sighed, hopefully he would get to talk to the other male soon. He smiled as he thought of the intense preening, he had received from Link just the other night. They had managed to have dinner once again but he had failed to bring up his discovery. He was beginning to wonder if Link had had this very same issue after.. well after he had practically taken advantage of the other male. He was ashamed about that still and though the two were completely unrelated, it was still difficult to bring up in normal conversation. How do you bring up that particular piece of anatomy?
Of course he had several near slip-ups and several redirects to get off the topic before Link got too suspicious. Still he had to bring it up some how and this whole not bringing up, was really stressing him out. His feathers just seemed to remain fluffed and it was all he could seem to think about lately, terrified of the why. Why did he trade that part of himself? What could possibly be worth giving them up? He wasn't sure but he also wasn't really given any time to ask Link about it either. What made matters worse, is now Link was pulling away from him or so he believed. His hylian was no longer the cuddly cute lover he had been able to rely upon. Now Link was cautious and agitated, what happened in this short amount of time to cause that?
He didn't know what he could do to fix this, to fix the mood and it made him feel uneasy. Like they were gliding in a snowstorm that would only end in tragedy. No after his punishment he would have more time, that he could spend with Link and maybe they could sort whatever this was out maybe even tonight if he was lucky. He let out a breath he hadn't been aware of holding before checking the box, he smiled as he spotted a dish he hadn't seen in quite some time. Maybe they weren't flying through a snowstorm after all, especially since Link had made this very special dish. He hummed as he ate it, perhaps it was a tiny bit better than he was used to or maybe it was because he knew that Link had made it for him. Still it tasted better than he remembered.

Link was out hunting as usual, only now he had to go a little further out then he was used to. It seemed the wildlife had been driven deeper into the woods by something, he wasn't sure if it was wolves or something else. Regardless he was tracking a stag, it was all going pretty well until he noticed places along the trail where blood had been spilled. Had his query been injured by another? He picked up the pace in hopes he could catch up with the animal, hoping that he could also spot the one who wounded it. However when he did catch up he found someone he did not expect to see.
Kyth was pulling arrow out of the stag in a clearing deep these woods, Link froze and fear crept up in his chest. Link started to back up but froze when a twig snapped at his feet, the rito spun around too quick and Link made a run for it. What was Kyth doing in the woods here? Link could have sworn the other male had been executed and yet there he was, with his unmistakable red plumage. Link slid to a halt and landed hard on his butt, when a shadow landed in front of him. It was not Kyth however, it was an ice lizalfo brandishing a spear. He back peddled only to hear a noise behind him, he looked to see another Lizalfo. Link looked around in a panic only to spot four other lizalfo, whom were slowly closing in on him. He shut his and held up his hands as they got closer, there was no way they were going to just leave him be.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa.. Hey.. friend," He suddenly heard Kyth say. He opened his eyes in shock to find the Rito was protecting him, the lizalfos lowered their spears and went around them then. Kyth then looked at him, he was surprised it wasn't a look a hatred or anger. "Hey.."
"Hey..?" Link parroted, as a question. He wasn't certain what had just happened or why the other male saved him from lizalfos of all things.
"You probably hate me and I have no right to ask any favors but.." Kyth whispered. "Can you just pretend you never saw me?" Link stood up and looked the rito over, the other didn't seem like the same over-confident pervert he was from before. In fact the creature before him barely even resembled a warrior at all.
"How did you survive the.." Link began.
"Oh that.. right, I guess I have nothing to lose if I tell you," Kyth said, seeming reluctant. "Well I was tied up and tossed to the mercy of the sea, I thought that would be the end of me too but instead I was rescued and imprisoned by those lizalfo. They.. well it doesn't matter. I eventually earned their trust, it doesn't matter how and now I help them hunt. Look my time is pretty limited and yours will be too if you don't get out of here, but please don't tell anyone I am alive. It's better I stay dead to them." Link swallowed hard, what could have happened that would have changed him so much? "I mean it, go now and don't come back to these woods. Ever." Link nodded and made a dash for it, he didn't even look back as he ran.
Link didn't stop running until his simply couldn't run anymore, he did however keep on the move until he reached the village. Unfortunately he had nothing to show for his hunt, he cursed aloud and looked around. What was he going to do for dinner, he groaned and made his way across the bridges. He hoped there was something he could make for dinner back at the roost but without meat, it wouldn't be as great as it needed to be. He was moping on his way up until a figure blocked his path, he halted and looked up to see Munsezo.
"No luck hunting?" the male asked. Link shook his head, the other male seemed to be thinking for a moment. "Game is scarce, we have extra." Was all the other male said before motioning for him to follow. Link frowned he wasn't sure it was customary for other rito males to share food with another rito's mate but what else was he to do? It wasn't long before the other motioned for him to stop. He did indeed stop and soon Nysh joined him outside.
"Hey Munsezo is grabbing the extra bird we got, don't hesitate to ask for help," Nysh admonished. "We know it can't be easy to hunt for.. well.. um not to say that you are incapable of hunting but even he had to go much father for game at this time as well. And we are always happy to help others when they need it, so don't think too much about all this okay?" Link raised an eyebrow at the tirade, it was almost as though they saw him as some kind of invalid. It was kind of them regardless, he accepted the bird and promised to help them with any task of their choosing later.
Luckily they didn't argue or fuss about him wanting to repay them for their kindness, he wasn't sure how he would repay them or when but he would. He made his way back to Vah Medoh and ended up running into Telnoss at the top of his climb.
"I would have offered to fly you up but I didn't think you would accept," Telnoss apologized.
"I wouldn't have," Link assured. "Why does almost everyone offer to fly me around?" He couldn't help but blurt the question out, it was odd that they would offer to basically taxi him.
"I would say it was probably hinted at by Revali," the other male replied. "He did ask me to keep an eye on you over this difficult time, after all the herds have moved on and most the straggler's will soon be out of reach for those on foot."
"That almost explains the generosity of today," he said with a grin.
"Ah yes, that actually is a common practice in the village," Telnoss chimed in. "We rito are generous and help those who had less successful hunts, especially if our own hunts fair far better. Most of us older generation Rito are better at the hunt then the younger but some of the young do surprise us sometimes. Munsezo is one such talented hunter, though young he is quite capable of fending for himself and Nysh."
"I see," Link whispered.
"Kindness is best repaid or paid forward," Telnoss continued. "When you have a successful hunt, then you would simply help those who were less so."
"It makes sense," Link said and it did.
"I would offer to answer more questions but I have soldiers to look after as well," the rito said with a sigh. With that the rito warrior took off heading back down to he village, Link sighed, he still had more questions but he also had another rito to attempt to stay up for.

*intercept's* Hey guys hope this chappie is enlightening! At least on a few things that is and oh my, how much longer will they be apart? Oh right a whole cycle of the moon that's a month! That's a long time but I promise time will seem to fly by very soon, though I bet poor Link wishes it could fly by faster!
