Summary: The Atomoni try to find something to watch on a streaming service.
In the cottage, the Atomoni looked at the thundering rain from their living room window.
"Oh, man." Sabrina said with a groan. "Well, looks like the company picnic's gonna be canceled. And I was so looking forward to it."
"Obviously, because of food." Deja said with a smirk.
"That and games too. Also, Wakko's gonna be there." Sabrina said. "We both made an agreement on equal share of food when we get there."
"But the Warners never got invited there." Catalina pointed out. "But then again, they do make it a habit of getting kicked out in any event they go to these days."
Deja, Sabrina, and Catalina moved away from the window and sat on the couch.
"Let's watch WebPix until the rain goes away." Deja said.
"WebPix? Is that like Netflix?" Sabrina asked.
"Yeah, but a parody version." Catalina replied. "A streaming service loaded with thousands of the world's finest TV shows and movies."
Catalina's tail reached over for the remote and placed it in her hand. She turned on the TV and pressed the WebPix button, pulling up categorized lists of streaming movies and TV shows.
"Every single movie and TV show is top notch on WebPix." Catalina added.
"So, what do you have in mind?" Deja asked.
"My favorite show of them all." Catalina said.
Catalina pressed the arrow buttons to scroll and click on a trailer of Mecha Princesses. The trailer played a preview that follows the adventures of a group of other magical princesses who must learn to work together to form the giant robot and use it to defeat the evil intergalactic empire set in a science fiction universe.
"Mecha Princesses rules." Catalina grinned.
"Sorry, Cat. But this show isn't my forte." Deja said. "I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm a fan for strong female characters, but not on sci-fi genre."
"Totally." Sabrina agreed. She snatched the remote from Catalina with her tail. "But my favorite show Lightning hits the number one superhero on the charts."
Sabrina pressed the arrow buttons to scroll down twice and moved to the left, clicking on a trailer of Lightning. The trailer played a preview that tells a superheroic tale of the last surviving alien becoming a costumed superhero and follows the effects of her vigilante activity on her professional and family life.
"Sabrina, the genre of this show is somewhat similar to mine." Catalina argued.
"That's where my international show comes in." Deja said, snatching the remote from Sabrina with her tail. "There are some shows and movies from other countries that have higher artistic standards than our shows and movies here in this country."
"So true." Catalina and Sabrina agreed with nods.
Deja pressed the arrow buttons to scroll down right and down, clicking on a trailer of Star Force. The trailer played a preview that revolves around the story of a group of high school students from Korea who are chosen to become cosmic protectors and must destroy malicious ghosts threatening the country under his watchful eyes of their magic-wielding mentor.
"Gimme that!" Sabrina said, snatching the remote from Deja. "Until the rain stops, I'm watching my show at the time being!"
"Yeah, not gonna happen. I'm watching my show!" Catalina retorted, snatching the remote from Sabrina.
"Oh, no, you're not!" Deja countered, snatched the remote from Catalina. "I wanna watch my show!"
Catalina, Sabrina, and Deja got into a huge fight in a large dust cloud, blaming each one of them for what they want to watch. As the Atomoni kept squabbling, Hallow woke up from his nap with narrowing eyes. He extended his tail and grabbed a tablet and Deja's cellphone before pulling them to him.
"STOP!" Hallow yelled at the top of his lungs.
The Atomoni ceased their fighting and put their attention to Hallow.
"You girls don't have to fight. Not only you can watch WebPix on TV, but you can watch your movies and shows on your mobile and tablet." Hallow explained.
"Oh, yeah. That's right." Catalina, Sabrina, and Deja said. "Thanks, Hallow."
Catalina grabbed the remote and played Mecha Princesses. Hallow handed the tablet to Sabrina and the cellphone to Deja. Sabrina turned on her tablet and pressed WebPix app to play Lightning while Deja unlocked her cell phone and pressed WebPix app to play Star Force.
Once the rain stopped, the Atomoni walked back to the cottage.
"Man, that picnic was amazing." Catalina smiled. "I really had a good time."
"Tell that to everyone else since the Warners didn't bother to show up." Sabrina said. "But on the bright side, I was able to save food for them."
"I hope they're okay." Deja said. "Let's go check on them."
Catalina, Sabrina, and Deja climbed up on the ladder that led them up to the water tower. As Catalina opened the door, she and her friends peeked over to see that the Warners sitting on the couch while staring at their TV with their eyes widening wide open in pink color with cracking veins around them.
"Can't take it anymore." Dot spoke as she closed her eyes very slowly.
"Me neither. Can't we just play food games since we missed the company picnic?" Wakko asked.
"Oh, absolutely." Yakko agreed as his eyes returned to normal. "We can do anything as long as we don't scroll through WebPix anymore. I've had a little too much of 'the golden age of television'."
Yakko threw the remote away.
"Okay, let's drop their food and back away slowly." Catalina whispered to Sabrina and Deja.
Sabrina and Deja nodded their heads in agreement. They placed the plastic boxes in the kitchen and quietly tiptoed away, closing the door behind them.
