Summary: Something is wrong with Sabrina! It turns out she has a crush on a toon and it is a voodoo toon.
Catalina, Sabrina, Deja, Onyx, and Camilla sat on top of Termite Terrace studio. Onyx was waving her wand around as Deja watched with interest while Catalina, Sabrina, and Camilla were reading a list of world's sexiest guys from different timelines on a magazine.
Camilla turned the page that revealed a 2011 picture of Bradley Cooper.
"Hey, Sabrina. What about that guy?" Camilla asked. "He's cute enough."
"Really? Nope. I don't think so." Sabrina responded. "But I love Star is Born movie though."
Camilla turned the page that revealed a 2012 picture of Channing Tatum.
"Okay, how about that cute guy?" Camilla asked.
"Great actor, but again, no." Sabrina replied.
Camilla turned the page that revealed a 2017 picture of Blake Shelton.
"What about that guy?" Camilla asked again.
"No." Sabrina said. "And besides, he's married."
"To Gwen Stefani." Catalina added. "Huge fan of her music."
"Him?" Camilla asked as she turned the page that revealed a 2013 picture of Adam Levine.
"Nope." Sabrina responded.
"What about him?!" Camilla asked frustratingly as she turned the page that revealed a 2019 picture of John Legend.
"He's married too." Sabrina answered.
"To Chrissy Teigen." Catalina added. "She's one of my favorite models."
"Seriously, Sabrina, stop being picky." Camilla said with an annoyed expression. "There's gonna be someone out there you can share your affection with."
"Listen, feel free to find one for all I care." Sabrina said. "I highly doubt you can find someone who doesn't bore me to insanity."
"Your call." Catalina said with a shrug. "But we all have to face romance sometimes."
"Ha, says the toon who couldn't admit her feelings for a certain Warner we know." Sabrina said with a snicker. "I mean, we're in season two and you're still playing hard to get."
"Shut up!" Catalina cried with a blushing face.
"Then, what do you look for in...?" Camilla asked.
"What's the point? There's no one out there who can comprehend my interest." Sabrina interrupted.
"Hey, girls! Come in! I want you to meet someone!"
Catalina, Sabrina, Deja, Onyx, and Camilla stood themselves up. They jumped down from the roof and ran inside to see Karen standing next to a young man. He has tan skin, brilliant vermilion hair brushed back with purple tips, and brilliant turquoise eyes. He wore a dark maroon dress jacket with folded sleeves over a purple t-shirt, black jeans that are rolled up at the bottom, and black shoes with white lace.
"Girls, this is Camilo Feliz." Karen said. "An old friend of mine from college. He's going to be working here in the studio."
"It's nice to meet you girls." Camilo greeted. "Karen has told me all about you. Plus, there's someone I want you to meet." He turned his head to his desk, where a female teenage toon causally fixated her attention on her phone in the distance. "Hey, Erika. Come meet everyone."
As Sabrina reached her hand into one of her pockets for a soda can and took a sip, Catalina, Deja, Onyx, and Camilla turned their gaze to a female voodoo toon standing off her chair and walking next to Camilo. She has same age and height as Sabrina. She has medium brown skin, curly dark reddish-black hair assorted into many small braids, and dark brown eyes. She wore a violet dress with puffy short sleeves and an amaranth purple waistcoat with gold lining and buttons, fading grey tights, and black wedge-heeled shoes. She also has white upside-down crescent moon markings under each eye and an amaranth purple top hat.
"Hello. I'm Erika Samedi." The voodoo toon introduced. "Nice to meet you."
"Oh my. Sweetie, I love your dress. So cute." Camilla commented as she examined Erika's dress.
"Thank you." Erika said with a smile. She looked down at her shadow. "You can come out, Zorro."
Erika's shadow emerged from the ground and stood right next to Erika, shaping itself into a sentient nine-tailed fox. It has black fur, white paws, and red eyes. His nine tails have a stripe running down to a white tip with gold-colored accents.
"O! M! G!" Deja squealed. "He's so cute!"
"I'm a witch and I'm so going to look up voodoo practices when I get home." Onyx said with a wide smile.
Catalina turned to see Sabrina still drinking her soda.
"Hey, Sabrina! You've gotta meet Zorro!" Catalina said.
Once Sabrina saw Erika, she spew out the soda in shock and stared at her intently as Erika waved at her with a warm smile. She slipped her soda can out of her hand onto the ground as her cheek dusted with the faintest shade of pink at the toon girl.
"Whoa." Sabrina muttered with an awestruck face.
"Sabrina? You okay?" Catalina asked.
"Huh?" Sabrina said as she snapped back to reality. "Oh, sorry. It's nothing."
When Catalina shrugged and looked back at Zorro, Sabrina sighed dreamily at Erika.
Karen and Camilo took notice as they both exchanged smiles at each other.
Later that afternoon, Catalina and Deja walked towards the front door of the cottage.
"Hey, Sabrina! We're heading out to grab some subs!" Catalina called out. "You want anything?"
Hallow switched into radar mode and began scanning the areas, not seeing any sign of the tomboyish oni toon.
"I've scanned everywhere and Sabrina's not here." Hallow informed.
"Really? Where'd she go?" Deja wondered.
Sabrina arrived at the pizza restaurant, where Erika was sitting on a chair patiently.
"Hey, Erika!" Sabrina said, running up to Erika. She sat on the opposite chair. "Sorry, I took so long to get here."
"Uh no, not at all." Erika said. "I just got here five minutes before you, so it's cool."
"What can I get you today?" The waiter asked as he stood in front of the teens' table.
"An order of cheese pizza." Erika responded.
"And two cokes." Sabrina said.
The waiter nodded his head and walked away.
"I'm glad you picked this place. I'm a fan of Italian food." Erika said.
"That would explain why you've invited me." Sabrina chuckled.
"So, tell me about yourself." Erika said.
"I'm an avid foodie, but I do workout from time to time." Sabrina responded. "I hate clowns, but I love extreme sports and weapons, mostly bombs. I've got pockets full of them for special occasions."
"Heh, lemme me guess." Erika said. "Cherry bombs?"
"Unlimited stock for preparation." Sabrina grinned. "What about you?"
"Well, I love Italian food, jazz music, pranks, and read fortunes with my tarot cards." Erika replied.
"Tarot cards?" Sabrina repeated with a confuse face.
"I'll show you." Erika said.
Erika snapped her fingers, conjuring a tarot card in between her index and middle fingers. The card depicted three young women are dancing with each other in a circle, raising their cups high in the air in a toast of joy and celebration.
"The Three of Cups. It signifies celebration, friendship, and creative collaborations." Erika explained. "It's very fitting for this day."
"You don't say." Sabrina commented. "But I'm more of a tech kind of girl."
"Hey, Sabrina, since I'm new in this city, do you happen to know any fun entertainment around here?" Erika asked.
"Glad you ask." Sabrina grinned.
After finished eating their pizza and drinking their cokes, Sabrina and Erika went on a series of fun hangout. They shopped clothes and taking selfies at the mall, rode crazy rides at the amusement park, watched funny TubeSpace videos at the library, skated together at roller skating rink, and having fun at the beach.
Meanwhile, Nora stood in front of Catalina and Deja inside her office. She was holding pictures of Erika and Sabrina spending time together with an angry look on her face.
"Care to explain why your friend has been missing every music video rehearsals and photoshoots for a whole week?!" Nora shouted.
Deja carried a shaking Catalina in her arms as Nora's rage was scaring the heck out of them.
"I don't know what's going on nor do I care, but get Sabrina back or you can forget your VIP tickets to that Janet Jackson concert next week!" Nora yelled.
"Ma'am, yes, ma'am!" Catalina and Deja said with salute.
With that, Catalina and Deja sped out of the office as they quickly headed home.
"Sabrina, get out of here right now!" Deja screamed as she banged her fists on Sabrina's door. "You've being missing all our modelling shoots and music video rehearsals for a whole week, and you owe us a huge explanation about your absence! Because if you don't, we can kiss our VIP tickets to Janet Jackson concert good-bye! Are you listening to me?!"
"I highly doubt she's even listening to a word you're saying." Catalina said bluntly as she placed her hands on her hips. "I'll do it."
Catalina walked up and knocked on Sabrina's door.
"Hey, Sabrina, you've been AWOL for a whole week. We just wanted to make sure that you're okay." Catalina said.
Sabrina pulled her door open. Her eyes were focused on the tarot card that Erika gave her.
"Well?" Deja asked.
"Huh?" Sabrina asked. She then came back to reality. "Oh yeah. I'll talk to Nora about it later."
Deja and Catalina looked surprised for what Sabrina just said, knowing that the Sabrina they know is never distracted from her career as a singing idol. They exchanged suspicious faces and followed the lovesick Sabrina into the kitchen.
Once Sabrina found a small white box in one of the drawers, she took out her phone and dialed a number before placing it on her ear.
"Hey." Sabrina spoke. "Listen, meet me at the Brace Canyon Park tonight. I've got something I want to tell you." Her smile grew. "Really? You too? Great. See you then."
Sabrina hung up the call and ran back into her bedroom.
Deja and Catalina moved up from behind the couch after they listened Sabrina's conservation. Their eyes widened wide, knowing why Sabrina was missing their schedule last week.
"OMG! It's official! Sabrina Noir is in love!" Deja whispered happily. She grabbed Catalina's arms and shook her maniacally. "We need details!"
"That's where your cousin comes in." Catalina said. "That, and I've already contracted Camilla, who called Zora, Karen, Amelia, and Camilo."
"Your cousin is such a gossip." Deja said with a deadpan face.
At Brace Canyon Park, Sabrina stumbled toward Erika.
"Sorry. Did I keep you waiting?" Sabrina asked.
"No." Erika answered. "You arrived just in time. I need to talk to you."
"I need to speak with you, too." Sabrina added, walking up in front of Erika.
Sabrina and Erika took a deep breath and spoke at the same time.
"The truth is I have a crush on you ever since we met." Sabrina and Erika confessed. They looked at each other with confuse faces at what they just said. "Wait, what? You do?" They smiled together. "Oh wow."
"There they are!"
Sabrina and Erika turned around to see Deja, Catalina, Onyx, Camilla, Camilo, Karen, Zora, and Amelia standing towards them.
"Did your fortune telling alert you that they will be here?" Sabrina asked.
"Yeah, kinda slipped out of my mind." Erika replied with a sheepish smile.
Sabrina grabbed Erika's hand and turned to face everyone.
"Now, before you say anything, I have something to say first. I need to come clean and...I'm afraid this may change the way you all think about me." Sabrina announced. She took a deep breath and put on a bold face. "I'm a lesbian."
"Yeah, I'm a lesbian too." Erika added.
Erkia held out a tarot card in between her index and middle fingers. The card depicted two women standing beneath the angel.
"The Lovers signifies perfect union, harmony, love and attraction." Erika explained. She looked at Sabrina, who smiled softly. "But I didn't need it to know my future love."
"I've known for some time, but I'm glad you've shared it with us." Onyx said.
"Yeah, I figured." Amelia agreed.
"Yup, me too." Zora concurred.
"Same here." Deja and Catalina agreed.
"Not until you called and told me about it." Camilla whispered.
"Shut up." Deja and Catalina hissed quickly.
"There's no need for you to hide it from us." Camilo said warmly.
"Owning who you are is going to make you two better toons." Karen said.
Sabrina and Erika sighed in relief.
"It's good to get that off my chest." Sabrina smiled. She turned to Erika when she seized both of her hands. "Erika, spending a whole week with you was the best thing that ever happened to me and I wouldn't trade it for the world."
Sabrina's tail pulled a beautiful red rose ring box by the stem. She knelt down on one knee and opened it to reveal a gold letter charm bracelet that spelled Erika's name inside.
"O.M.G!" Camilla squealed excitedly.
"Oh my..." Erika muttered.
"I've spent four hours making this just for you. Erica Samedi, will you be my girlfriend?" Sabrina asked.
"Yes!" Erika answered. "I will love to be your girlfriend, Sabrina Noir."
Sabrina smiled widely and began to put the charm bracelet on Erika's right wrist.
As everyone cheered with excitement, Onyx moved her wand in a circle and pointed a wisp of red magic up in the air, exploding colorful fireworks that displayed beautiful shapes of green and purple hearts.
Erika and Sabrina looked up at the sky with smiles. Erika then placed her hands on Sabrina's cheek and kissed her on the lips. Sabrina looked surprised, but she closed her eyes and returned the kiss with enjoyment.
Up in the sky, a new constellation formed in the shape of two hearts.
