Without further ado. Here is the long- awaited fourth part of this little saga.

Chapter 23 – MMPR pt 4.

The rangers stared at each other in utter disbelief. How did Scorpina escape the police? Why was she here right now, not attacking them, but telling them that she wanted to help.

"Wait, how did you even find us?" Jason asked, the heavy, brass lamp still raised in his hands, ready to attack at the first sniff of danger.

Scorpina closed the front door shut, trying her best to fix the latch that she broke. She warily edged into the room, keeping her eyes on the rangers. The golden warrior opened her trench coat and slid her hand into a gap in her armour, just underneath her armpit, the rangers recoiled and quickly raised their weapons. "I am not going to attack you!" Scorpina said, attempting to sound calm, but her usual, threatening demeanour still present. She took her hand away and instead, lowered it to the scabbard where she kept her blades. She pulled out the kukri knife which had just hours ago, sunk into JDF's abdomen, and laid it on the ground in front of the rangers.

"There, do you believe me now?" she said defiantly.

"How do we know you haven't got anymore weapons?" Zack questioned.

"Because, they have all been turned into toys! Would you like to do a strip search?" Scorpina retorted.

"Hell no. Whatever you have under there, you can keep it." Zack replied.

"Unfortunately, I am completely human here on earth. It is impossible to even find a trace of my other form." Scorpina ignored the ranger's shocked faces and returned her hand into the small gap in her armour, and pulled out a rectangular device of some sort. "This is a tracking device that was given to me by my masters. I can find you anywhere in this universe."

"Okay, but how were you able to evade the police?" Billy asked.

"I may be human here, but I still have my brain and some of my skills. Do you really think a prison could keep me locked up?" Scorpina said.

"No, I suppose not." Billy said.

"Well, please explain to me, why you didn't kill the policemen just like you killed Tommy!" Jason stated.

"Calm down. Whoever I kill in this universe, it has no effect in our normal world. Well, apart from you five of course."

"What do you mean? Kimberly probed.

"Nothing that happens here, directly has an impact on us in our world. They're unrelated. So this world's Tommy will be alive back in our universe."

The rangers sighed a huge sigh of relief. They couldn't even begin to think of any harm coming to one of their closest friends.

"You five are the exception, since you have been plucked from one reality, and placed into another. Only your deaths and my death will cause a change in our world. I promise you, Tommy will be fine, unfortunately." Scorpina frowning at the last sentence.

"Right, okay. So why do you want out? And why do you want to suddenly help us?" Jason asked the warrior, lowering his weapon now, believing what Scorpina was telling him. He didn't drop the heavy lamp though; it was still clutched in his hand, just in case.

"I am useless here! I am a human! I have never experienced a time when I get so fatigued during battle." Scorpina lowered her head, as though being human was an embarrassment.

"So why not just go back yourself and leave us here?" Trini asked.

"I have tried to contact master, all of my magic is gone. It is impossible to get in touch with them. You rangers hold the key to get back to our world." Scorpina said, wild thoughts running through her mind. Did her masters want her to be stuck in this world? Why did they do this?

"What key?" Jason was getting excited now. Did they have the power all along to go back? Like a twisted version of the ruby slippers from the wizard of oz.

"One of you recieved or found a carefully planted item in our universe during the last few days. An item which acted as a portal. An item which was the culprit that brought you here. A key which may only be activated by the person to whom it was presented."

What was she on about? What item?

"It could have been something you found. Something you bought from a store that was bewitched and planted there for you to find. It could have been a gift. Anything." It was as though Scorpina had read the ranger's minds and gave them some more information.

"But that could literally be anything. How do we know that the pizza I bought the other night, wasn't the key you are on about." Zack said.

"Use your mammoth head, ranger."

"Mastodon."

"This item was with you the moment you were transported into this alternate universe." Scorpina said totally ignoring Zack's correction. "So, think back to what you had in your pockets and purses."

Jason was thinking about it, he had been for the last few minutes, but how could it be. He didn't want to say anything but the more Scorpina described this key, the more he was thinking about it.

"Well, I was given a trophy the day that it all happened." Jason finally admitted out loud, receiving a shocked look from Kimberly, she knew exactly to what he was referring to.

"A trophy. What trophy?" Scorpina hurriedly asked.

"A kid who I have been training, gave me one of his deceased father's old trophies. But it can't be him, how could he have known? If it was the trophy, surely Gasket had bewitched it without the kids knowledge."

"How long have you known this child?" Scorpina asked, rather forcibly.

"I dunno, maybe around a month or so."

"And how much do you know about him?"

The rangers looked left and right between Jason and Scorpina now, since the conversation now only included the two of them.

"Well, I know that he's extremely poor. He only has a mother, Luke's father died-"

"Luke? The trophy that Luke gave you. That's it. That's the key." Scorpina yelled, startling the rangers.

"Hold on, how do you know about Luke?" Kimberly said.

"Oh dear. Zordon evidently did not choose his rangers based on their brain capacity." Scorpina scoffed.

"Wait a minute." Billy interjected.

"This kid pops out of nowhere and you just trust him and his dubious story?" Scorpina continued, totally ignoring the blue ranger.

"Well yeah, it's a bit weird but I mean, look at the poor kid." Jason said.

"Luke isn't some kid." Scorpina replied quickly.

"How do you know?" Kimberly asked.

"Because I was the one who was transformed to be his mother when you asked to see her!" Scorpina spat.

"Hold on. So, you're Mrs. Anderson?" Jason said quietly, his face twisted in confusion.

"Yes!" screamed the golden alien.

"Scarlett... Scorpina... You could've chosen a better name." Jason said with a bit of a sarcastic laugh, how did he not see this coming, after all his years of being a power ranger.

"So who's Luke. Or what is Luke?" Kimberly asked.

"That is not of your concern."

"Gasket?"

"No you pea-brain!"

"One of your monsters?" Jason quizzed

"No."

"Then who?"

"You needn't worry about that right now. We have to retrieve the key, use it to get back to our universe. Once there, we need to destroy the trophy so this won't happen again." Scorpina slumped down against the wall nearest to the front door. "I am risking everything by helping you out with this. You have to promise me, you will never reveal it was I who told you about the key."

"Why should we do that?" Zack said.

"Because if you do that, I vow to not kill you right now!" Scorpina replied, her anger rising in her chest behind her metallic armour. "I vow to not lay a single finger on your measly heads until we get back to our universe. That is a promise."

"What, and as soon as we land in Angel Grove, you attack us?" Kimberly said.

"I. Will. Not. Lay. A. Single. Finger. On. Your. Pretty. Little. Heads. Until. We. Part. Ways. And. We. Collect. Ourselves." Scorpina said through gritted teeth. "This promise will stay in place until my masters decide to attack you again. You have my word."

The rangers really didn't want to trust Scorpina, but honestly, what choice did they have?

"She didn't have to tell us to destroy this trophy. She could've just left that part out and just saved herself." Jason explained. "There's just one thing I just don't understand." He walked up to Scorpina and knelt down so that he could see into her cold eyes. "You were posing as his mother, then why the hell didn't you say anything sooner. You knew he gave me that trophy, you were with him whilst he did so. Why did you not just say this as soon as you came here?"

"Do you really believe that I am on the level of my masters?" Scorpina stared back into the red rangers eyes, meeting his intensity with cool composure. "Do you think I am high enough in the ranks to be told of all the plans? I am informed of plans, mere days before they are executed. Even closer now that..."

"Now that what?" Jason said after Scorpina had paused.

"It is not of importance." She spat back. "I was not told about this plan until moments before you were sent here, to this vile universe. I did not not know what that trophy was. I was simply asked to make you believe that I was Luke's mother and that Luke was just a normal boy. My masters only told me the specifics, as they were getting ready to transport me here to finish you off."

"Why don't they trust you?" Jason questioned, finding it strange how little her masters trusted her.

"It's not a matter of trust. That's the way all soldiers are treated. Me, Silverback, even Gold-" Scorpina halted and lowered her eyes to the grubby carpet. "I vow to not attack you until the next battle. I will not break this promise!" Scorpina had found her courage and once again glared into the red rangers' eyes.

Jason couldn't help but believe what she was saying. There seemed to be a weakness in Scorpina, an almost human-like fragility in her usually tenacious demeanour. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go." He said, surprised that he believed the monster he has fought on so many occasions.

"Go where exactly?" Zack asked the red ranger. "We don't know where that trophy is. As far as we know, it didn't come along to this world with us."

"Yeah, I mean the whole car changed into the radbug. We de-aged and became teenagers again. That trophy is probably back in our own world, Jase." Kimberly explained, looking into Jason's eyes.

"That is true." Scorpina interjected. "The key however, that key will have come with you. It is a powerful object, an object that was the true vehicle which brought you to this universe. So therefore, the key will still be in the vicinity of where you were transported." Scorpina explained.

"And how do we get there?" Kimberly asked.

"Well, I memorised the route during my last visit." Billy said.

"That's great, I just think we ought to see JDF before we leave." Jason said, glancing at Scorpina who look baffled. " I know it's a bit off-topic, but we don't know what he's going through. Seeing us would probably cheer him up."

"Did you not hear a word that I said red ranger?" Scorpina growled, glaring at Jason. "Your precious Tommy or whatever he is called here, he will be absolutely fine. We go back to our world, and your clones here will simply take over once you leave. You do not need to waste time to go and make sure Tommy is cheerful."

"You have no right to dictate to us what we can and can't do." Jason responded curtly.

"Yeah. This is our choice." Kimberly said, as each ranger agreed with nods and shouts of agreement.

Scorpina had no option but to give up. She watched on as each ranger stood up tall next to each other in a blatant act of defiance, almost daring the alien to do something about it. "Okay fine. Get on with it. I shall wait here." She didn't have the time and patience to turn it into a fight.

"Where is he though? I very much doubt that this city has Angel Grove general hospital." Trini smartly illustrated.

"This city, LA or whatever the hell its called, it's just replaced Angel Grove. Let's just go to where AGGH is and he'll be there." Zack advised.

"There's not just one hospital in Angel Grove. There's at least five or six of them." Kimberly pointed out.

Billy didn't say anything. He just walked over to the telephone that Kimberly and Jason had pushed up against the wall earlier, picked up the piece of paper with various phone numbers written on it and dialled one of them. It didn't take long at all for Billy to finally put the phone down and reveal that Shuki Levy had told him where JDF was.

The five rangers left Scorpina who had chosen to hide in one the kitchen and called a cab to a hospital called UCLA medical centre.

The ride over to the hospital wasn't a long one, yet it felt like a long time for the rangers. They knew that this wasn't their Tommy, but this JDF dude was really nice and really, he was Tommy. He was just a Tommy in a different universe. It would actually be much easier to see this Tommy than have to travel to Boston in their own world. They had to do this to put their minds at ease, and all five of them knew it.

They paid the cab fair and took an elevator to the third floor as Mr. Levy had instructed Billy over the phone.

Knock knock.

"Tom- Jason, its us. Your cast mates." Jason Lee Scott said, shrugging at his friend's, knowing he had screwed up a little bit.

"Come in guys." Came an unmistakable voice from the other side of the door.

Surprisingly, the young nurse at the front desk, just outside the room didn't stop them from going further, even though the signs along the walls stated that only two visitors were allowed per room.

It was quite shocking when they opened the door and were face to face with a tall, slim brunette.

JDF was laid on a bed, his torso covered in bandages, but his face showing no sign of distress, instead it was plastered with a wide smile

"I wondered when you guys would show up. I was waiting for you." he said with a smile.

The rangers glanced around at each other, they had recieved the confirmation that they were doing the right thing.

"This is my fiancé, Shawna." JDF said with a wide smile, he was obviously smitten by the model-esque brunette. "And these are my new friends. THE power rangers." JDF added with a chuckle.

"Hi guys. I wish we could've met on better conditions." Shawna said, walking over to the rangersans shaking their hands.

"Hi, yes certainly." Kimberly replied.

"It is most ingratiating to finally meet you." Billy responded.

"How are you feeling dude?" Jason quickly added, walking over to JDF to try and turn the conversation back to normal instead of the formal twist it had taken.

"I'm okay thanks Austin. She really did a number on me, but I made it, and so did all of you. That's the main thing." JDF replied, smiling brightly at Jason.

"We were so worried about you!" Kimberly added, joining Jason next to the bed, as the rest of the group huddled around.

"Really? You guys hardly know me though." JDF raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"Once a ranger, always a ranger, dude." Jason replied, his heart swelling up.

"Thanks man."

"We take this whole ranger business rather seriously. You are a big part of our group." Billy added.

"Yeah, you're part of the family Tommy." Zack said, realising that JDF had caught on.

"Tommy. I've only been using that name for a few days now, but I'm getting pretty comfortable with it you know." As of his smile wasn't wide enough already, it grew to an even larger extent.

"You look like a Tommy. It suits you." Trini replied.

"Thanks guys. I'm glad I auditioned for the role. I hope they keep me on, I would love to get to know you guys more. I don't know why, but I feel quite close to you already. Does that make any sense?"

The rangers all smiled as Kimberly replied "It makes perfect sense."

The door behind then opened up and the young nurse from the front desk walked in.

"I'm sorry, but my superior has asked me to tell you that only two visitors are allowed per room. She wants some of you to leave."

"It's okay, we were going anyway." Jason responded.

"If you need anything, we're here for you, okay?" Kimberly turned back to JDF.

"Anytime, anything, let us know." Zack added.

"You have our number right?" Jason asked.

"I certainly do. Thanks guys. When I get out of here, I'm going to invite you to my apartment. You can meet my kid, Jacob too." JDF said, as his fiancé moved next to him, stroking his forehead.

"I can't wait bro." Jason said with a smile.

"We'll have a blast." Zack added.

"It'll be morphinominal." Kimberly said, almost giggling as Shawna looked very confused.

"You're the power rangers aren't you?" the nurse asked after the rangers bid goodbye to their friend and moved towards the door.

The rangers nodded.

The nurse shuffled her feet and her cheeks turned bright red. "That's why I didn't stop you from coming in. I LOVE that show."

"Really? I thought it was a kids show." Jason replied.

"Oh no. All my friends love it. Everyone's talking about it."

The rangers looked at each other in surprise.

"Maybe it's not as small as we thought." Trini said.

"Are you kidding? That's why I was so desperate to join the show guys. You watch, mighty morphin power rangers is going to be huge! We're going to create some magic together." JDF said from behind them.

JDF didn't realise how right he was, though not in the way he was thinking.

All six rangers gave the nurse autographs and five of them bade farewell to JDF and left the hospital and got back at home just in time to see Scorpina cowering behind a couch.

"You took your time!" She spat as the rangers walked through the broken door.

"Well we're here now. Let's go." Jason quickly responded.

"How are we getting there?" she asked.

"Billy knows the way. He's going to take us there." Jason answered.

"Don't you think five teenagers and a strange looking woman walking side by side would look suspicious?" Scorpina pointed out.

"We don't need to hide from anyone do we?" Zack asked her.

"I am wanted for attempted murder in case you have forgotten. There is no need to draw unwanted attention on to us."

"But they know what you look like, regardless." Trini said.

Scorpina walked into the middle of the room and opened up her trench coat, pulled out a scarf which she wrapped around her neck, mouth and nose, hiding most of her face. "I think this will do for now. And we should really split up-"

"We're not splitting up." Jason said.

"You still don't trust me, do you, red ranger?"

"I'll never trust you."

"Fine!" Scorpina spat, flashing her eyes dangerously at Jason. "But if we get caught, this will be on your head!"

"That's fine with me." Jason responded before stepping aside and allowing Billy to take the lead.

The rangers and Scorpina exited the house, with scorpina attempting to carefully close the door behind her, the door which she had kicked in, only moments earlier.

Jason really didn't trust the alien. The red ranger moved Scorpina into the middle of the group, so that they could all keep an eye on her, and off they went.

Billy did not hesitate in leading the rangers towards their target. His photographic memory was just a further example of another useful trait of his.

Everything was going smoothly. They did not encounter a single hurdle on their way to the studio. Nobody stopped them in the street, nobody came in their path. It probably helped that it was around midnight and the only lights were coming from some of the streetlights from the streets that they passed.

Before they realised it, they were in front of the-now familiar building where episodes of mighty morphin power rangers were filmed.

It was still strange for the rangers, that their actual lives were being documented as atv series. It was so surreal. The things they would do, the things they would say, the thoughts that they would have, they were written in black and white on the scripts. This building didn't seem real, this whole universe didn't, but it was real. At least here, in this world.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Let's go!"

It was only due to the snarl from Scorpina, that the power rangers were pulled out from their stupor and followed Scorpina past the metal fence and into the deserted parking lot.

"Once we get inside, you pea brains need to find the key." Scorpina said, walking towards the door to the studio. "It will be somewhere in the car which transported you all here."

"That's fine. But how are we going to get in?" Jason quizzed the alien.

"We break the door down, of course." Scorpina replied.

"What, and bring more attention to us?"

Trini stepped forward towards the door. "it's always worth a try." She said, pushing down on the handle, and to everyone's surprise, the lock clicked and the graphite coloured double door slowly swung forwards.

"No way!" Kimberly exclaimed.

"This is all going way too easy." Jason claimed.

"I don't want to jinx it, but I concur Jason." Billy responded.

Jason exchanged worried looks with everyone and nudged forward, taking the lead. The rangers and scorpina slowly followed the red ranger into the backstage area of the studio. It looked very bare to what it usually looked like. There was an eery silence hanging in the air which was heightened by the darkness of the studio.

"Let's keep going guys." Jason whispered to the rest of the team who had stopped in their tracks.

"I can't believe this, but I agree with the red brat. The quicker we get back to our world, the better." Scorpina said, dashing towards Jason.

Kimberly led the way as the rest of the rangers traipsed forward. Kimberly didn't like the way Scorpina was getting so close to Jason. She didn't like it at all.

The rangers (and scorpina) barely stepped foot onto the dark stage area when they were halted in their tracks.

"Who goes there?" a strong, demanding voice boomed out from behind the musty curtain which separated the backstage area and the filming area, which was all covered by sheets of cloth.

The rangers and Scorpina all began to sweat, their heartbeats racing.

"I said, who are you?" the voice demanded, becoming even louder.

The team didn't even have the chance to glance at each other before a boot popped out of the shadows and a man came in to view. There was nothing spectacular about this man. Average in stature, but there was a rather powerful energy radiating from him. It was however, too dark to see who this man was, but they needed to know.

"Sorry, but who are you?" Jason asked with an air of caution.

This mystery man made his way towards the group of rangers and scorpina, taking slow steps.

"Ranger kids? Is that you? It's me, Haim." The man's demeanor softened slightly, the previous demand in his voice now giving way to a fruity, almost pleasant tone.

"Sorry, who?" Jason asked, never hearing that name before.

"Haim Saban, Mr. Saban."

"Oh hello Mr. Saban." Billy said, stepping forward. "I think you have done a wonderful job in discovering the power rangers. I would like to thank you for the opportunity, sir."

"Aaaah flattery. Very nice Billy- I mean, it's Daniel isn't it? Haim said, moving even closer.

"It's David sir."

"Aaah yes. How could I forget. A beautiful Hebrew name. Did you know, David was the first king of Jerusalem?"

"No sir, I did not know that. Thank you for that important piece of information."

"You're most welcome. But I, I have to ask. What on earth are you doing here? We have had to cancel the filming due to that horrible, evil woman who attacked my most prized asset."

His most prized asset? The rangers didn't know what to think of the creator of the mighty morphin power rangers.

"You mean Tommy sir. JDF." Jason interrupted, ignoring Scorpina next to him, clenching her fists in anger. He has just called her a horrible, evil woman. Calling her a woman was offensive enough.

"Yes. Poor kid. But you haven't answered my question."

"We umm, we came to grab our scripts, sir." Jason answered.

"We wanted to ensure that we knew our lines perfectly in order to maximise the production and efficency of the show." Billy added.

Mr. Saban grinned like a cheshire cat, staring at the group of friends like they were large cuts of juicy steak. "That's what I like to see. Commitment!"

"Thank you sir."

"You're most welcome, Jason isn't it?"

"Well, I guess. Yes sir."

"Excellent. Go ahead, get your scripts."

The rangers immediately moved over to the directors tables, past the curtain, upon where their scripts were laid. They didn't even walk halfway when they heard a voice behind them.

"Hold on, who's this other lady?" Mr. Saban said, walking over to them, trying to get a closer look.

"She's my cousin sir." Trini quickly responded.

"I'm sorry Trini, but only cast and crew are allowed inside. She will have to-" Mr. Saban paused mid sentence and squinted his eyes slightly as he glared at Scorpina's face. "Would you mind taking off your scarf my dear."

"She doesn't understand English, sir." Trini quickly interjected.

"Ask her to take off her scarf." Mr. Saban's voice once again reverted back to earlier, a bossy, demanding voice now manifesting in his standoffish demeanour.

Trini, being the quick thinker she was, flashed her eyes at Scorpina and said the following. "Cởi khăn quàng cổ của bạn." Using her native tongue of Vietnamese.

Scorpina of course, had no idea what Trini just said but she understood Mr. Saban clearly enough. Yet she shook her head defiantly.

"Sir, it's our tradition in Vietnam to keep our faces covered around males we are not related to." Trini said, half lying, half telling the truth.

"Then why are you not covering your face?" Mr. Saban quizzed the yellow ranger, raising an eyebrow at her.

Trini let out a small giggle. "Well, I've been in America for most of my life now sir. I guess I've integrated into American societal norms."

"Whatever." Mr. Saban said, turning to face Scorpina once again. "She looks very familiar. But it can't be, you kids wouldn't be standing with her right now if she was the-" Mr. Saban was speaking more to himself rather than to any of the power rangers.

The rangers however, knew what was going on. Haim Saban, the creator the MMPR, recognised Scorpina for who she was. Without a doubt, his right-hand man, Shuki Levy had told him of who exactly attacked them all in the studio,

"Unless, you were in cohorts! But this is the deal of your lifetime. Why would you sabotage it?" Once again, Saban was seemingly talking more to himself, his gaze still rooted on Scorpina. "Do you want a raise? Maybe that's it!"

Mr. Sabans eyes opened wide as though he had just figured out a grand scheme. But it was short lived as Scorpina whacked Saban over the head with as much force as she could, knocking him out-cold.

"You didn't have to do that." Jason responded, kneeling down and checking on Saban to make sure he was okay.

"Do you expect me to stand around here like you imbeciles whilst he figures out who I am? You rangers are so stupid."

Jason felt Saban's pulse, which was very much alive and he stood back up. "Come on. Let's get on with it before he wakes up."

The ranger's and Scorpina moved past the directors area and towards the side of the faux command centre, where thankfully, the rad bug was unmoved.

"Think now red ranger, where did you put the key?" Scorpina asked.

Jason knew exactly where it was, in the car that Kimberly's dad had gifted them. Would it still be here?

The red ranger, followed closely by everyone else, opened the boot of the radbug, which was very easy, and peered into it. Lo and behold, his gym bag was still there, and inside of the gym bag was the trophy that luke had gifted him.

Luke, the little boy he had welcomed with open arms. He surely couldnt be an alien or one of the bad guys. Surely, he was just a pawn in this dangerous game of chess.

Jason reached out for the trophy but Scorpina swatted his hand away.

"Do not touch it with your bare hands you fool. Here." She handed him her scarf. "Use this as a barrier between the key and your skin.

Jason took the scarf and lifted the trophy out of the gym bag and held it up for everyone to see, still in disbelief that little Luke could be a part of this. Kimberly seemed to have read Jason's mind and placed a hand on his wrist. She was also sure Luke could not have known any of this. Maybe Lukes' mom was at home, maybe Gasket had just made Scorpina look like his mother, maybe even Luke didn't realise it wasn't his mother.

"How does it work?" Jason asked the alien, shrugging away those dark thoughts, turning and twisting the trophy.

"It is very simple. We all get into this hideous car and touch the trophy at the same time. The vessel will be activated and we will be transported back to our universe."

"It was this simple all along? Wow." Billy exclaimed.

"But hold on. I didn't touch this trophy when we were transported to this world. How did that happen then?" Jason asked, doubt creeping into his mind once again.

"Simple. The key was bewitched for it to activate when all five of you power rangers were together. You already graced it with your DNA when you accepted it back at that gym. The masters were watching on and pulled the trigger at the right time."

"That is actually very simple. We were over-estimating this." Billy said, scratching his chin.

"Yes Yes, enough of the surprise. Let's get out of here!" Scorpina said, eyeing up the radbug with greed.

The rangers raced to the car, nobody as fast as Kimberly who quickly sat in the front passenger's seat as the rest of the rangers squeezed into the back, with scorpina almost laid on the laps of Trini, Zack and Billy.

Jason carefully placed the trophy on the dashboard, but before he could address the rest of the team, Kimberly placed her hand in his.

"Are you sure you want to go back to 2002? Where I don't look as hot as I do now?"

Jason smiled and checked out his fiancé from head to toe. He knew she was mostly joking but he wanted to make her feel good regardless. "You look amazing, now and in '02. You look even hotter in our world baby. Every day we spend together, you look more and more perfect."

"Okay, enough of this sickening behaviour. I am going to vomit if this continues. Let's get out of here already." Scorpina bellowed from the back.

Jason smirked and slowly lifted the trophy, using the scarf as a barrier, and moved it in between the two front seats.

"Are you ready guys" Jason asked.

The rest of the team nodded their heads and each of them moved a finger inches away from the trophy.

"On the count of three. 1...2...3!"

Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Zack, Trini and scorpina extended their fingers and felt the icy cold trophy on their skins.

It felt like a blast, but there was no explosion. The car began to twist and spin out of control and before they knew it, darkness hit them like a train as they blacked out.

Scorpina was the first to regain consciousness. She opened her eyes and looked around. They were in a large driveway that she did not recognise.

She looked around at the rangers and starting to poke and prod them to wake them up.

"Have we done it?" Jason mumbled, opening his eyes and recognising Zack and Trini's house in front of them. He looked to his right and saw Kimberly stirring. She looked slightly different to the last couple of days, she looked like the Kimberly he was going to marry. They did it.

The rest of the team woke up and looked around at their surroundings.

"Baby, we did it. We're home now." Zack said, lifting Trini's head up gently from her chin as they both took in the sight of their house.

"Prodigious. We made it!" Billy said.

Jason placed the trophy on the dashboard and looked around and counted each member of the rangers. They were all here as was Scorpina. They did it. They made it back to their universe.

"Jase, I can feel it again." Kimberly said excitedly placing her palm on her tummy and grinning brightly.

"Oh, thank god." Jason sighed a huge sigh of relief, leaning over and placing his hand on top of Kimberly's, still on her tiny little bump.

The rangers in the backseat cheered until scorpina groaned in disgust and moved to get out of the car which was not the radbug anymore, but Jason and Kimberly's red Lexus.

Scorpina managed to escape and stood outside, breathing in a huge sigh of relief. She checked her scabbard and found that her trusty dagger was sat snugly where it was meant to be. The alien took it out of it's casing and ran a finger along the blade, grinning as she felt its wickedly sharp edge.

"Hey, you said you wouldn't attack us!" Zack said as he got out of the car along with the others.

"Relax ranger. I'm not attacking you am I? I'm merely testing to see if I'm back to myself, besides, we will need something to destroy that key with won't we." Scorpina replied.

Jason walked over to the monster and nodded his head. "You were right. You got us back. I have to thank you for that. But that still doesn't make us friends, I want you to know that."

Scorpina let out a shrill chuckle and glanced at each ranger before looking Jason dead in his eyes. "That will never happen, red ranger."

"Good."

"Here." Scorpina handed Jason her dagger. "Take it and destroy this key. We can put this behind us and move on."

Jason looked into the eyes of the alien, she definitely didn't look as human as she did in the strange world they were just in. He took the dagger nonetheless and placed the trophy onto Zack and Trini's driveway floor. He positioned himself directly above the trophy and brought the sharp dagger down onto the middle of the trophy.

It was as though he had just poured acid over the trophy as it fizzed and slowly began to melt.

Jason handed the blade back to scorpina once the trophy had completely disappeared, making each of them sigh with relief.

"I shall be taking my leave now rangers. Whatever happens after this, at least you know that I keep my word. I trust you will keep yours too and never reveal how you escaped." Scorpina stated calmly, placing her hand on her belt line.

"We don't go back on our word either. We will keep our side of the bargain." Jason replied.

"Good." Scorpina pressed something on the belt like which shrouded her in like an invisible bubble. "And ummm, I'm sorry with what happened to Aisha. It was not supposed to go down that way. That one is on me." The alien offered each ranger an almost human-like, apologetic smile and vanished within seconds before they could respond.

"Well, that was unexpected." Zack said, raising his eyebrows

"Did she just say sorry to us?" Kimberly grimaced with confusion, not believing her eyes or ears.

"Crazy." Jason muttered, looking up at the sky, his face twisted and confused.

"Shall we go inside?" Trini asked the red, pink and blue rangers.

"I thoroughly enjoyed your company guys and the little adventure we just had, but I need to get back to Daniel. I have no inkling as to how long we were gone. He must be so worried." Billy said.

"Yeah. I think we should all go home, rest up and just let all of this process." Jason added, smiling at his two friends.

"Of course, dude." Zack clasped hands with his best friend and gave him a tight squeeze.

"We'll meet up again real soon. Hopefully it'll be without any crazy shit happening." Kimberly said, hugging Trini.

"No doubt we'll need to go through everything together. It wasn't all bad was it?" Billy added, smirking at his friend's and offering them both hugs.

Billy left with Jason and Kimberly in their car and made their short trip back into Angel Grove. Jason dropped Billy off outside his house, watched as he went safely into his home and set off again to get back to his and Kim's apartment.

It wasn't a long drive, but when Jason and Kimberly entered their apartment, they collapsed on top of each other on the sofa. They were absolutely exhausted. They were hungry too and decided to order a pizza and watch a bit of TV.

"You look so different you know?" Kimberly said, staring at Jason's face.

"In a bad way?" Jason asked. Getting comfortable on the couch.

"No, not at all. You look, well, you look mature now. Do I look different?"

"You do if I'm being honest. You look more beautiful than ever. We were just kids back then though weren't we?"

"Yeah, we weren't the final product. I'm happy that everything is back to normal and that I'm here with you again. Just the two of us." Kimberly said, leaning into Jason whilst he wrapped his arm around her tender shoulders.

"Definitely. I missed having time alone with you." Jason said, picking up the TV remote, smiling as Kim stroked his shoulder.

"As soon as we finish eating. I think we should take a shower together and get into bed." Kimberly replied, resting her head under Jason's chin and placing a hand onto his chest.

"Are you sleepy? You go to bed and I'll bring the pizza to you when it comes."

Kimberly smiled lazily. "I am sleepy, yes. But we have unfinished business from when Zack interrupted us." Kimberly whispered, just loud enough for Jason to hear.

"Oh man. That's what was going through my mind too." Jason replied in a low, deep voice, smiling and turning on the TV.

"Karen, what is the latest on the situation."

"Oh great, the news." Kimberly scoffed. "Isn't there a movie on or something?"

"Wait, isn't that downtown Angel Grove?" Jason asked.

" Well, the latest Trevor, is that the power rangers have not been been seen ever since they kidnapped those people around an hour ago."

"What? The power rangers kidnapped someone? No way. We weren't even here!" Jason growled in disgust.

"As you can see behind me, civilians are still trying to escape from these destroyed buildings. Thankfully there's been no more casualties reported since I last spoke to you."

Jason and Kimberly were absolutely speechless as they stared at the television screen. At least four large buildings were either ablaze or destroyed. A few of the shops around them had also met the same fate. They watched on as the live stream went back into the studio.

"Thank god. Karen, I still can't believe that the power rangers have turned on us like this. But I still have to show the world, the incredible, heartbreaking video that we have."

The screen now changed to downtown Angel Grove, evidently before anything happened.

Out of nowhere, five power rangers descended from the sky and began to attack anyone in sight.

Jason and Kimberly watched on in horror as the power rangers beat down numerous people. They were all there. The red, green, black, yellow, blue and pink rangers. All six were there. After attacking those poor innocent people, the rangers split up into pairs and moved into buildings to continue their terror.

"This can't be happening." Jason croaked, barely able to get his voice out now. His stomach heavy as though he has just swallowed a huge piece of lead.

Their hearts nearly stopped as the video was rewinded and zoomed in. These fake power rangers looked absolutely immaculate. No different to their real suits.

"The. Casualties are still at seven people. Six of them are being tended to at Angel Grove General hospital. The seventh is unfortunately dead as we reported earlier. He was murdered by the power rangers, who then kidnapped a number of Angel Grove citizens, as if they hadn't already done enough damage. We have no idea how many people they took or the identities of those people. The zeo rangers tried to help, but they were no match for the evil power rangers. The hunt is out for the power rangers, and I have just been told that armed forces will be available to help bring in the once saviours of Angel Grove and bring an end to their spree of terrorism."

I hope you liked the chapter. There's so much more to come.

The scene with JDF wasn't originally planned but I just had to put something in. Here's a hug to all of the PR family who are shocked and saddened by the loss of one of our family members. I wasn't the biggest Tommy fan but JDF always did right by the fans. RIP JDF.
