It was New Year's...

"Ne, Izuku..."

It was winter break.

It was new year's eve and the sky was a gray abyss with a want to rain.

"Ara, ara?"

Momo Yaoyorozu had taken a sip of the tea that she was holding with both hands and was staring at the steaming liquid with surprise delight. "It is genuine Golden Tips Imperial Tea. I can't believe this little tea house actually has it." Momo let out an elegant giggle, as she raised her shoulders, smiling at Izuku Midoriya, "How'd you find out about this place?"

Izuku chuckled as he scratched his cheek, glancing to the side like he always does. "Actually it was the morning of the school festival..." He was debating whether or not to tell Momo about how he ran into Gentle, until he figured there was no harm, "I ran into a villain that wanted to sneak into U.A. and yet he got tea from here," Referring to the tea house they were in.

Then Izuku explained everything that happened the morning of the school festival.

"Oh, Izuku I was never aware of such a thing." Momo held regret a bit of regret in her eyes as they started to leave the tea house.

"Y-Yeah, that was kinda the point." Izuku chuckled, trying to deflect the situation like always. "S-So, what do you want to do for new year's?"

But as their conversation was referring U.A. Momo glanced towards the school that they were attending. She took in a deep inhale letting her shoulders raise, her bust heaving as she exhaled. She turned her back to the school facing Izuku with her hands clasped together over her waist.

"Ne, Izuku, we're all friends right..."

Izuku's lips parted before he took a breath to think about the question, understanding the weight behind it.

... "Yeah, Momo, we are."

And her lips lifted into an everlasting smile as she said, "Then for New Year's I want to be home."

The train tracks were thudding along as the gentle drops began to fall on the city.

"You know it's kinda weird, it feels like the time we are spending here, during winter break, is completely different from how we are at the dorms with everyone else." Izuku commented as he glanced at the city skyline, as it was enveloped by the darkening gray clouds.

Momo's lips pulled up in an almost giggle as she placed her hand over his lap, rubbing over it softly.

Despite having already been intimate with her, he still flinched to her touch. He hesitated at first before he slowly placed his hand over hers, clasping it, as their fingers interlocked. "Y-You know, it's almost like we're boyfriend and girlfriend, huh?" It sounded lighthearted in his thoughts but his voice became awkward as he realized what he was actually saying, blushing.

Momo's lips finally let out a giggle, growing the same blush as Izuku, tinting her pale cheeks.

"Ne, Izuku, it's okay, if you want, we can pretend..."

After, she turned her head to face him, and he did the same, out of reaction, the both of them locking eyes. He saw the gloomy weather reflecting off her onyx orbs and she saw the faraway sunshine in his.

Her lips moved as she continued to talk but it was as if the words hadn't reached him, yet. 'I don't know why but all I could focus on was everything else. How her hair always had that elegant flutter as it spiraled away like cherry blossom petals. How her eyes could brighten like a curious kitty or how they could instantly become sharp like an analyzing feline. How the cold weather gave her a radiant grace. And because of it all I-,'

"So you can't fall in love with me, okay?"

Her words finally reaching him.

"H-Huh?" Was his only capable response as the fleeting moment he was lost in seeming vanished just like that.

She tilted her head, giving him her beloved closed-eye smile as her loose strand of hair flowed along. "Because it's pretend," But unlike the other moments where she always kept her emotions shut behind her eyelids, she opened them, having a fractured twinkle in her eyes as her lips lowered into a more somber smile, "Right?"

The weather had grown into a rainstorm but Izuku and Momo were laughing along as they ran, covering their heads up with their arms, reaching the path leading to her house.

"I still don't get why you can't create an umbrella?" Izuku spoke loud enough for her to hear because of the rain.

"The same reason you can't clear the sky with your punches!" Momo replied just as loud as he did, but there was an added perky rhythm in her voice.

"Huh?" But he lowered his voice as they reached her front door.

He was confused because Momo was giggling as if nothing was wrong because they were soaking wet, even though this could've been avoided if they used their quirks but Momo had insisted that they didn't.

"Because Silly, normal couples aren't superheroes are they?" And she spoke with a bounce in her step as they both faced each other in front of the door.

"I guess that's true..." But Izuku still had confusion in his voice.

"Shall we head inside?"

They were in her room, and the lack of sunset was only more prominent with the lightning flashing across the sky. She was standing in front of her vanity mirror while he sat at the edge of her bed. Her clothes were damp and clung to her skin. He gulped noticing how transparent the view was. It did nothing to hide her hourglass curves. If possible the weather only seemed to illuminate her figure even more so. Her hair was down in a tangled mess. The front of her body was facing the mirror, her back visible to Izuku. Her always loose strand of hair shrouded apart of her eye. She ran her hands through her wet hair. Her body arched in a curving twist, to give her a better reach with her hands or maybe just a better view for Izuku? He had wide eyes, staring at the sexy figure. The side of her perky bosom and her peach-shaped bottom was presented in front of him. Her hair was still in her hands, and it revealed an appealing neck. Her body was dangerously curved. The storm outside shined, bringing a glow to her pale skin. She began to redo her spiral ponytail. The scrunchy held in her mouth. A few strands of hair slipped from her grip. She playfully wrestled with her glimmering hair. Her whole body took part in the struggle, as it fidgeted with a bounce. She finished and grabbed her scrunchy, tying her hair in place. She patted her spiral ponytail once she was content with it. She then swayed her head across to Izuku with her cheek leaning on her shoulder. Her eyes met his with a warm smile. He didn't know why but he averted his eyes. She tilted her head with a finger to her lips, amused with his reaction.

She began to walk towards the bed and sat beside him, placing her hand on his lap just as she did on the train.

"Ne, Izuku the new year doesn't have to start until we go back to school..."

Unlike last time, Izuku didn't flinch because of her action but because of her words. "Huh? Momo?"

And he hadn't realized how close they were until he spoke. There wasn't any space between them on the mattress and their lips were only a few inches apart. Their eyes continuing to shift up and down between their lips and eyes. He finally replied to the initial statement as he lost himself to the moment. "It's okay, right?"

She didn't answer his question, instead deciding to indulge in it. She drew closer to him and it began to lure him, as his body moved closer to hers as well. She had turned her body towards him as her cold fingers laid themselves on the wet fabric over his chest. Her wet hair illuminated the false shine around her face, slippery strands clinging to her in false comfort. He rose his hand to her cheek, below her eye. His thumb wiped away the one droplet of rain streaming down. His hand slid further, to her wet hair.

Her breath was beating against his and it swirled into an intoxicating taste they were both familiar with. He gulped with unsure eyes before they reunited their lips, just as they had the first time. And her weak, ever, breaking smile was the same. They closed their eyes and embraced as their lips moved up and down remembering the passion they shared, craving it even more so again.

"Izuku..." She whispered with the echo of an empty music box.

"Momo." He whispered back with the emptiness of a hollow orchestra.

Both of them playing a melody with their lips to the rain.

He kissed her pale shoulder as he slid the slippery sleeve down, goosebumps growing over her exposed cold flesh. She shivered. Despite his own damp clothes, he kept her warm with his body. Her hand reached out for his... and Izuku, he held on to it, never letting go.

Her breath, a frost of lust. Her rain-cold, pink lips pressed against his and compelled him to softly push her down on the bed with him on top of her.

He broke their lip-locked affair for a moment. He pressed his forehead against hers.

Her spiral ponytail was confused as she tilted her head. Her body lying on the bed, waiting for him, her thighs tenderly hugging his waist.

"I just... want to remember this." He whispered.

She let out a sighing giggle as she cupped his cheek with her free hand, her thumb rubbing under his eyelid as if she was able to see a tear.

And she simply said, "You will."

It was the middle of the night and they were still holding hands. His forehead was still pressed against hers. He was holding her roughly with his free arm curled under her head as a pillow. His breathing was rigid as he pumped harder. She was panting heavily, her bosom was sloshing against his chest. Her cheeks were scarlet. Her nails buried into his back. Her legs were now locked around his waist, refusing to let him go.

The rain, a tempo to their secret. She held him. He hugged her back. She skimmed her lips up his neck, kissing his ear, moaning sweet nothings. His hand went down and massaged her back, his fingertips lightly pressing into her soft skin, remembering her every curve. Both enveloped in the embrace, fogging up the window from the inside as the raindrops slid down on the outside.

The night was illuminated by the constellations breaking the cloudy sky for a moment, a candlelight of natural affection, slowly fading away, back to the grey.

In that moment the pale moonlight had pierced into her room and it radiated off of her porcelain skin. Her shoulders had a moonlit gleam, and her silky raven hair had a luminescent shine. And Izuku had to pause, only able to stare at the beauty.

And as he was captivated, before the moonlight faded, he said it as he held her hand, burying it deeper into the bed,

"I love you..."

Her eyes widened to his words before softening into a misty affection and all she could do was capture his lips and close her eyes before they threatened to spill. 'It's just pretend, right?'

They continued to share fidelity throughout the winter break, and to Momo Yaoyorozu, it was the first winter she wasn't cold...

She was alone. She was in a doctor's office as she received the news.

"You're pregnant."
