The time is finally arriving. This is where our heroes start to make their stand against SkullSatamon and his plan to conquer Gameindustri.

As you can tell by the title, we're about to get to the good part! Some of you have probably been waiting for what going to happen here. Even I couldn't wait to write this out!

Peashy and FanBeemon reveal their origin story of how they met, while the CPUs managed to convince Linda to try and help them out, giving them a bit of info on what SkullSatamon plans to do with the Sharicite. Then Dorumon and Ryudamon start to form a bond of friendship, and in the process, receive another strange vision of two mysterious figures. Later on, Mirei arrives and informs everyone about the true motive behind SkullSatamon's plan: to steal the four Sharicite crystals and open a gate to the Digital World! At the same time, another mysterious villain calling himself "Mr. A." has issued a serious threat to the CPUs, along with one choice: give SkullSatamon the last of the Share crystals or risk the safety of their nations.

How will the CPUs and their Digimon respond? Will they submit to SkullSatamon's tyranny? Or can they come up with a plan to stop that skull-faced creeper once and for all? All of these questions will soon be answered as we begin part one of the next event!

Chapter 23: Ultimate Rising, Part 1

Daylight came as quickly as the night left. The CPUs and their allies could not sleep a wink ever since Mr. A. made his threat against their own lands. They were now given an impossible choice to decide on. Either they give SkullSatamon the last two Sharicite crystals from Lowee and Leanbox or have their nations turned completely upside-down in a state of chaos.

They were given twenty-four hours to make their decision. It had been at least five hours after the voice mail was issued, and the CPUs had to figure out a plan to confront the skeletal Digimon without putting their lands in danger. Some of them were still thinking, while the others were watching the morning news. It was broadcasting the events that had transpired last night.

"Authorities have no explanation as to why Planetune's power grid went out of control last night. They do not know why multiple transformers also blew out around the same time. Some people are speculating a possible sabotage from an unknown individual or group, while others believe it to be a freak accident. Our reporters have requested a statement from our Goddess Purple Heart. The Oracle Histoire says she has denied any and all requests, but has assured us that our Goddess is looking into the matter as we speak."

Uzume, who was watching the broadcast with Peashy, turned off the TV with the remote as soon as it was over. They had seen enough to know the kind of trouble that was going to follow. They were also thankful that Histoire managed to sway the reporters away. If the public found out that their Goddess had lost her Sharicite to a monster from another world, who knows how much faith would be lost.

Meanwhile, the other CPUs and their Digimon were together with Mirei, still trying to figure out what to do. They explained to their Digimon what had happened that night while they were asleep or elsewhere. When they heard that the CPUs could not bring them along, their partners grew concerned.

"You can't go without us!", said Dorumon.

"I agree. It is illogical to do such a drastic action. Without your powers, you won't be able to defend yourselves should you face the enemy", stated Hagurumon.

"Sorry, but even if we could, Mr. A. seemed to have made his threat very clear", said Nepgear.

"I still think it's a trap. Why else would he want us to go alone?", asked Noire.

"It wouldn't surprise me if it really is just a trap", said Blanc.

"Well if it is, then you definitely can't go!", said Blucomon.

"If you ask me, that Mr. Alphabet dude or whatever pretty much messed up my city. I consider that pretty personal if you ask me", said Neptune.

"Still, we can't just sit around and do nothing. We need a plan, and soon", stated Vert.

"Don't look at me. I'm not the creative type", said Dracomon.

"I wouldn't expect you to come with anything, Dracomon. We're pretty much in a bind", said Noire sadly.

"I would calculate that any plan we come up with has a ten percent chance of succeeding", stated Hagurumon.

"Oh dear, what can we do?", asked Lalamon worriedly.

"Don't worry. I'm sure we can win if we can find a way to bring you with us", said Nepgear.

Suddenly, Mirei cleared throat, gathering the the attention of everyone around.

"I think you're all forgetting one important detail", said the purple haired woman.

"And what might that be?", Blanc asked.

"Assuming you can find a way to sneak your Digimon with you, there's no way you can stop SkullSatamon without reaching the Ultimate level", Mirei stated.

The CPUs all frown, knowing that she was right. There was no way that they could stop him without reaching a higher level of power, especially in their current state. Their Digimon still haven't reached the Ultimate level, and the CPUs still haven't figured out how to get their partners to reach said level.

"Yeah, we seem to keep forgetting that, don't we? Well, it's no biggie", said Neptune.

"Yes biggie! Our Digimon haven't gotten stronger forms yet!", Noire snapped.

"But we can't just give up and get a game over! We gotta do something, powers or not!", the lilac haired CPU said.

"And what do you think we should do? Just straight up give him the Sharicite?", said Blanc.

"Exactly!", said Neptune.

Everyone else looked at her like she had just kicked a small dog. Neptune just smiled a bit.

"We let that skull-faced creep think he has us and our Share crystals, and then 'WHAM!' We all jump him with our Digimon and get our Shares back!", said Neptune.

"Neptune, that might be the dumbest plan I think I ever heard...", deadpanned Noire.

"Agreed. Only a fruitcake like you would come u with that", added Blanc.

"Indeed. I do not believe it to be a wise strategy at all", stated Vert.

"...Actually, I think it might work", said Mirei.

The CPUs just stared at the purple haired woman for a moment, thinking that she might have not be thinking straight. Neptune, on the other hand, was a bit confused.

"HUH?!", the CPUs exclaimed.

"I mean, I was kind of joking a bit there", said Neptune.

"Yes. But I think you're on to something. We might be able to make it work if we play our cards right", said Mirei.

"Really? How?", asked Noire.

Mirei motioned them all to move closer and started to whisper a plan to them all. As they listened on, the CPUs started to nod at every word that the purple haired woman had said. Their Digimon were a little puzzled, not understanding what they are saying.

"What do you think they're whispering about?", Dorumon asked.

"Maybe they're going to plan a party or something?", said Dracomon.

"I find that statement highly improbable", said Hagurumon, with the other Digimon nodding at this.

Meanwhile, from across the room, Linda was leaning on one of the walls, watching the interaction between the CPUs and Mirei. She was unsure of how to interact with the others. Even though she agreed to help them and turn over a new leaf, it still felt strange to her. When Peashy noticed the lime haired girl standing alone, she decided to walk up to her.

"Everything alright, Linda?", she asked.

Linda looked at the blonde haired girl and blinked.

"I don't know. I thought if I joined you guys, I figured things would be better for me", she said.

"And you don't think that it is?", asked Peashy.

"Not really. I still don't think they trust me. Can't say I blame them, though", said Linda.

"I won't pretend to know what you did in the past. But all I can say is to just give it some time", said the blonde haired girl.

"Still, what am I supposed to say those broa- ...Err, to them?", Linda corrected herself.

"Well, for starters, you can work on that potty mouth of yours", Peashy remarked.

This annoyed the grey skinned girl a little, grumbling a bit in response. The blonde just smiled at her teasingly.

"Relax. I'm sure you can show them that you can change for the better. You just have to take a chance", Peashy said.

She then walked back to the group, wanting to get in on the CPU's conversation. Linda looked on, thinking about what to do.

"Take a chance, eh?", she thought, remembering what Peashy had said.

After a minute of whispering to one another, everyone nodded in agreement.

"Well, let's hope that this works", said Noire.

"I'm sure it will. But I think we'll need some help for it to work", added Blanc.

"Don't worry, everyone. I know some who can help us", said Uzume.

She then activated her wrist communicator, hoping to get in touch with a certain someone if they aren't busy. At last, it reached a line with someone.

"Yo, it's me. Say, how fast can you get here? And how many can your book transport at once?", asked the red haired CPU.

Later, the CPUs had formulated their plan with Mirei. They were a bit hesitant about it at first, but as they listened to every detail, they eventually agreed to going through with it. They then filled their Digimon in on the plan, who begrudgingly agreed to play along. If they were going to make this work, they were going to have to make a flawless execution.

Hours had gone by after they prepared their plan. It was the middle of the afternoon when Neptune, Noire and Mirei had arrived at the location where they were to bring the last two Sharicite crystals. It looked like a gigantic abandoned warehouse that had been closed down for many years. The group were now waiting on Blanc and Vert to arrive with their nation's crystals. The Candidates, their Digimon friends, and their other allies were nowhere to be seen.

"I hope the others will be alright without us", said Noire a little loudly.

"Don't get your panties in a knot. I'm sure they're getting a victory party set up when we get back", said Neptune.

"I just wish Blanc and Vert would hurry up with those crystals. We're burning daylight here", stated Noire.

As if on cue, they looked out to see the other two CPUs arriving, holding two large crystal-like objects in their hands. It was their Sharicite crystals from their respective nations. Mirei saw this and grinned a bit.

"Good, good. I think they can handle it from here", the purple haired woman thought.

"Sorry we're late. It isn't exactly easy trying to get over here without being able to fly", said Blanc.

"As much as I liked the cardio, carrying something like this around is a bother on my hands", added Vert.

"Great! The gang's all here! Now, let us march forth to the heat of battle!", said Neptune excitedly.

"Neptune, are you really trying to let the enemy know we're here? You're being a loudmouth again", Noire deadpanned.

"Oh, Noire, I'm always at my best when I'm excited", said the lilac haired girl.

"Besides, I think we could all use a little enthusiasm", said Vert.

"Yeah. Especially since we're about to lose our last two Share crystals", added Blanc.

"Sometimes I think I feel like I'm the only serious one around here...", sighed Noire.

"Hey, we're serious too! I just don't tend to show it", said Neptune.

"That's rich, coming from you. If you were serious, you wouldn't have got your Sharicite stolen first", the raven haired CPU pointed out.

"Nepu?! Attack of the heartless loner!", Neptune gasped.

Noire turned to see the other two CPUs just slowly shaking their heads at her.

"Noire, I think you went a bit too far on that one...", said Blanc.

"Agreed. That was a bit harsh, even for you", added Vert.

"W-What are you all looking at me like that?! I was just joking! It's not like I meant it!", Noire backtracked.

"When this is all over, I'm going to have to give you a book about comedy", said the brown haired CPU.

Mirei was just watching the whole conversation unfold before her. She still could not believe that despite being Gameindustri's Goddesses and protectors of the peace, they still manage to find a way to either joke around in a serious moment or bicker amongst themselves over something. still it seemed to amuse her in some way. The purple haired woman cleared her throat, catching the CPU's attention as she adjusted her glasses.

"Well, it's about time you all get going. I hope you will all succeed in stopping SkullSatamon", said Mirei.

The CPUs nodded and started to walk off. But then Mirei placed a hand on Neptune's shoulder, waving her over for a moment.

"Neptune, I heard Dorumon had managed to make friends with Ryudamon, correct?", she asked the lilac haired girl.

"Yeppers! We're all going to be two and a half peas in a pot", said Neptune.

"I see. I think those two are were meant to be together", said Mirei.

"What'cha mean? Oh, are they like two long lost brothers who have a hidden past?", Neptune asked half jokingly.

"Something like that. All I can say is that their destiny's are intertwined with one another. And I think with time, they'll realize their true potential", said the purple haired woman.

"Uh huh... I have no idea what you mean, but it sounds as chill as a cucumber", said Neptune.

Mirei just smiled and placed her hand on the lilac haired CPU's shoulder.

"I'm sure you'll learn in due time. Well, I better go and check up on the Digi-Lab", she said.

Mirei then started walking away, leaving Neptune standing there, still a little confused about what the purple haired woman had said.

"Hey, hurry up, or we'll leave you behind!", shouted Noire from afar.

Neptune turned towards the CPUs and started running over to catch up with them. Mirei looked behind her to watch the CPUs enter the warehouse and smiled.

"A new power is about to awaken soon. I wonder which will be the first to rise up? Hehehe", she said, quietly laughing to herself.

Inside the giant warehouse, the group could see all sorts of broken down machines and other miscellaneous contents such as crates or tools. As they walked on, the CPUs looked all over the place, keeping an eye out for anything out of the ordinary, especially for any sign of SkullSatamon. They could not help but feel uneasy, almost as if they were being watched.

"Jeepers creepers. What a place to meet at", said Neptune.

"Quiet, Neptune. We're all just as creeped out as you are", hushed Noire.

"This reminds me of one of those cliché moments in some of my novels. The villain always springs a trap at this point", said Blanc.

"Well it certainly wouldn't be true villain fashion if it weren't a trap. Otherwise I'd be slightly disappointed", remarked Vert.

Suddenly, as if on cue, something dropped on to the floor in front of the group. It looked like a small canister. Just when one of them was about to pick it up, a bright flash of light went off, and the CPU's hearing became distorted. They shrieked in shock and confusion, unable to see or hear anything for a moment.

"My eyes! What's happening!", exclaimed Noire.

"What?! I can't hear you! Yell Marco Polo if you can hear me!", shouted Neptune.

Seconds later, a whole mob of figures started to surround the four CPUs. When their vision and hearing started to return to normal, they could see what had them cornered. The figures had big grey bodies that almost looked a little baggy, three fingers and toes on their hands and feet, a long tail, and looked like the had three small horns on their heads, two on the sides and one on the back. They looked like they were wearing white masks with two tubes coming out from them, which lead to a backpack on their backs, probably used as a breathing apparatus. In their hands looked like like rifles, aimed directly at the CPUs.

The looks of the grey creatures made the CPUs a bit nervous, especially since they had weapons aimed at them. The group didn't move a muscle, not wanting to get blasted by the armed creatures. One of them approached the group and spoke to them, his voice muffled a bit by the mask on his face.

"We are Troopmon. Our master SkullSatamon has been expecting you. You will come with us", he ordered.

The CPUs looked at each other before being shoved forward by a few of the Troopmon, their rifles pointed at their backs. Hesitantly, they complied as they followed the masked Digimon through the warehouse interior. The CPUs dared not try anything, in fear that someone will get hurt, or worse. Another minute went by before they reached another part of the warehouse. Their eyes went wide by what they saw next.

Just across the room, they could see a large machine that looked like a metallic arch, equipped with what looked like two emitters on each side. What shocked the group the most was that right where the emitters were, two of them had a Sharicite crystal inside of them. Their energy was being drawn and transferred into the emitters, a faint light glowing from them. Their worst fears were now confirmed. SkullSatamon was definitely planning to bring an army to Gameindustri. And these Troopmon might have been only a fraction of what's to come.

When the masked Digimon stopped in place, the CPUs stopped as well. The Troopmon leader stepped forward.

"SkullSatamon, we have captured the CPUs, as you requested. They've also brought their two Share crystals with them", he said.

From above, a tall winged figure dropped down from one of the metal support beams. It was SkullSatamon, smirking with his sinister smile. He cackled when he saw the sight of the four CPUs now in the palm of his hands. Two of the Troopmon motioned towards Blanc and Vert and snatched the Sharicite crystals from them, them stepping towards the skeletal Digimon, presenting him the two shining crystals.

"Excellent. Set them in the emitters and prepare the gate for the charging sequence", said SkullSatamon.

The two Troopmon as they walked off with the Share crystals, preparing to set them up for the gateway. The skeletal Digimon turned to the CPUs and smirked devilishly.

"You twerps are even more foolish than I imagined. Did you really think that giving the last of your Sharicite crystals would save your homes from destruction?", he said.

"So, are you and Mr. A. really working together?", Vert inquired.

"Indeed. But that will soon be irrelevant. I'm sure he said that he would harm your nations if you did not hand your Share crystals over, correct?", said SkullSatamon.

"Yeah? Wait... you don't mean to say...!", said Noire.

That's right! Hahaha! It was nothing more than a scare tactic! Even I can't believe you fell for it!", laughed SkullSatamon.

The CPUs looked at each other, a mix of shock and anger showing on their faces. The skeletal Digimon stopped laughing and then continued.

"Why would we destroy your nations when we have a plan to conquer them? Especially when you are also useful to us as well", he said.

"So that's why you didn't just finish us off the first time. You wanted us alive so you could take our Share crystals", said Blanc.

"That's right. You're very perceptive. Yes, we needed you lot alive in order to get the power source needed to use this", said SkullSatamon.

He then pointed at the metal gateway across the room. The two Troopmon were seen installing the Sharicite crystals from Lowee and Leanbox in the empty emitters.

"As you can see, we are now in the final stage of our plan", SkullSatamon explained. "When this arch activates, the walls between your world and the Digital World will be broken and our benefactor's army will storm through to overthrow your nations and conquer Gameindustri. The D-Brigade will rule two world with an iron fist! Hahahahhahaha!"

"The D-Brigade? Who are they?", asked Neptune. "And why do they sound like they s-"

"NEPTUNE!", the other three CPUs suddenly exclaimed, cutting off the lilac haired CPU's sentence.

"Oops! Almost forgot the rating of this story. My bad", Neptune apologized.

The skeletal Digimon was a bit dumbfounded by the group's interaction, but he continued on.

"The D-Brigade will conquer Gameindustri. But it's not like you'll live long enough to see the complete takeover. After enough of their army enters this world, we'll have no more need for you girls", said SkullSatamon.

"You should know, we won't let you get away with this", said Vert.

"Oh really? And do tell me, how do you plan on stopping me? Without your Sharericite, you don't even have a ghost of a chance!", SkullSatamon inquired.

"Let's just say that you're not the only one who has experience will dimension hopping", said Neptune.

As if on cue, everyone heard a noise, causing them to turn around to where it was coming from. Just behind everyone, a small vortex had opened up. This confused SkullSatamon, who looked back at the gateway, then back to the vortex.

"The Digital Gate couldn't have activated already?! And it certainly wouldn't be off course like that! What did you fools do?!", he exclaimed, blaming the Troopmons.

"This wasn't us, sir! We don't know what's going on!", one of them said.

Suddenly, something emerged from the vortex. A group of small creatures jumped out from the portal, catching the Troopmons by surprise. It was the Goddesses Digimon partners coming to their rescue! The instant they came through the vortex, they had started attacking the Troopmons around the CPUs.

"Metal Cannon!", shouted Dorumon, firing multiple iron balls from his mouth.

"Baby Hail!", yelled Blucomon as he started spitting icicles at the enemy.

"Nuts Shoot!", exclaimed Lalamon, shooting a spread of seeds at a rapid pace.

"Baby Breath!", said Dracomon as he spewed a small blast of fire from his mouth.

"Katana Attack!", shouted Ryudamon as he blasted an iron blade from his mouth.

All of their attacks connected, either confusing or disabling the Troopmons. This gave the CPUs an opportunity to break free. They quickly knocked back some of the disoriented Troopmons and ran towards their partners.

"Way to go, Dorumon!", cheered Neptune.

"Better late than never, I'll say.", said Noire.

"Excellent timing, Blucomon", praised Blanc.

"Well done, Lalamon! That was great!", Vert cheered.

Just then, more figures arrive through the vortex. It was the CPU Candidates, Uzume, Peashy, Linda, Hagurumon, FanBeemon, Numemon, and one other person. When Neptune saw the last person, she instantly recognized her.

She looked just like the lilac haired CPU, except that she was wearing a black parka dress and shoes with purple and light blue colorings, a black wristband around her left arm, a black choker with a light blue power symbol on it, and a black gun holster on her left thigh. Her lilac hair was longer than Neptune's, her D-Pad hairclips were also colored black, and on her parka dress were two strings that looked like controller plugs, two big pockets with light blue circles, and a big zipper with a purple "N" mark on it.

The doppelganger took on look at Neptune and just smiled, knowing who the lilac haired CPU was.

"What's up? Hope we weren't late for the party", she said.

"Big Me! Awesomesauce!", exclaimed Neptune as she quickly rushed in to hug her bigger self.

"When Uzume called, I came as quickly as I could. But I never would have believed her if I didn't see these critters that she mention", said Adult Neptune.

"They're pretty nice once you get to know them, Big Nepsy. Well, not all of them", said Uzume, referring to SkullSatamon.

"Well, now that we're all here, we just might have a chance!", said Nepgear.

"Yeah! It's time to kick butt and eat pudding! And I'm full of pudding!", said Neptune excitedly.

"I can't believe I'm doing this...", said Linda.

"Lighten up, Linda. Besides, you said earlier that you to earn their trust. So what can you do to earn that?", asked Peashy.

Linda then looked at the Troopmons starting to regroup and re-arm themselves, then she looked at her metal pipe weapon and smirked.

"Crack some heads", said the grey skinned girl.

SkullSatamon looked at the whole group angrily. He could not believe that the CPUs had managed to get their Digimon in the warehouse with them.

"I knew I should've told Mr. A. to go through with the plan", the skeletal Digimon said.

"SkullSatamon, sir! What should we do!?", the Troopmon leader inquired.

"Hold them off until the Digital Gate activates! When the D-Brigade reinforcements arrive, we'll be victorious!", SkullSatamon ordered.

"Yes sir! Troopmons, attack!", the masked Digimon yelled.

The CPUs and their friends readied themselves for battle, either pulling out or summoning their weapons. Then Adult Neptune remembered something and started searching her pockets.

"I almost forgot. I think you you'll be needing these.", she said.

She then pulled out some rectangular devices from her pockets. It was the CPUs Digivices! The lilac haired girl gave them their Digivices and they thanked her in return.

"Now it's a party! Let's do it!", said Neptune.

They then saw the squad of Troopmons coming their way, but the Candidates saw them coming and got in their way.

"Ice Coffin!", exclaimed both Ram and Rom.

They created a wall of ice with their staffs, freezing any Troopmon that was unlucky enough to get caught in the ice block.

"Fire away!", said one of the Troopmon.

They aimed their rifles and started firing away with red lasers. The Candidates took cover behind some large crates. Uzume and the others started running to their aid.

"We'll hold off these goons! You go take down SkullSatamon!", said Uzume.

"You bet your butts we'll beat him! Come on, everybody! It's Digivolving time!", exclaimed the lilac haired CPU.

"Right!", the other Goddesses agreed.

While the four CPUs started towards the arch, the others faced against the army of Troopmons. Uni managed to take some pot shots at the masked Digimons, ranging from shooting their rifles out of their hands to knocking them down outright. Uzume blown some away with a roar from her megaphone weapon, while Linda started bashing some of them with her metal pipe. Nepgear and Hagurumon lwatched on before turning to each other.

"It would be logical to join in the battle right away", said Hagurumon.

"Yes. Let's do it!", said Nepgear as she pulled out her Digivice and pointed it at the metallic gear Digimon. "Digivolve!"

A lilac colored beam of light shot towards Hagurumon, causing him to enter his Digivolution sequence.

"Hagurumon, Digivolve to...!", he shouted.

His body soon grew bigger and changed to a steampunk-style copper-colored body, his eyes went from red to green, and an engine-like thruster pack formed on his back.

"Guardromon!", he exclaimed as puffs of steam spewed out from his body.

More Troopmon started rushing in, but when they saw the pair rushing towards them, they tried to back up, but fumbled over each other trying to get away.

"Mirage Dance!", exclaimed Nepgear as she slashes at the Troopmons with her beam saber.

The masked Digimon were disoriented by the attack, leaving them open to another attack by Guardromon.

"Warning Laser!", he yelled as he fired twin beams from his eyes.

The beams hit the ground where the Troopmons were standing on, causing an explosion that blasts them in several directions. Nepgear cheered her partner on as they and their friends pressed the attack.

Meanwhile, the CPUs and their Digimon raced towards the Digital Gate. They could see that it was now starting to come online. The group had to act fast and stop it from activating. But before they could reach it, SkullSatamon got in front of them, standing in their path.

"Must we go over this again? You should know by now that you can't beat me", he said.

"That's what you think, creep", said Blanc.

"Yeah! We'll show you what the powers of a CPU and Digimon can do!", added Neptune.

The four CPUs then raised their Digivices towards their partners and they all shouted the code word at once.

"Digivolve!"

Colored beams of light shot out from their Digivices and towards their respective partner Digimon. Soon their Digivolution sequence started.

"Dracomon, Digivolve to...!", the little dragon Digimon shouted, starting his Digivolution process first.

He started to change size as his three fingered claws grew, as well as his arms and legs. His scales began to change to a blue color, his wings and tail grew bigger, and his horns were bigger and were a red-like color, including a third horn that grew on his nose.

"Coredramon!", the blue dragon Digimon roared.

"Blucomon, Digivolve to...!", said the icy Digimon.

He started to get larger in size and grew wings made of ice, and his entire body was now almost covered in ice. The white fur around his neck grew a little longer, he had blue claws on his hands and feet, and it looked like he had a bracelet on his left arm and a white bandage on his left leg.

"Paledramon!", the ice dragon Digimon yelled.

"Lalamon, Digivolve to...!", the little plant Digimon exclaimed next.

Her shape became a green slim body with and her legs grew a little bigger, She now had long arms with three fingers on each hand and a pointy tail with thorns on it. Her head became yellow with a pinkish-red, triangular mark on the forehead, her mouth grew bigger, yellow petals grew around her face, and two positioned leaf-shaped wings formed on her back.

"Sunflowmon!", the flower Digimon yelled.

"Dorumon, Digivolve to...!", the purple Digimon shouted.

His body and wings soon became bigger, his pattern began changing to a darker hue of purple, his claws started turning to a light-red color, and his tail grew longer.

"Dorugamon!", the winged beast Digimon exclaimed.

"Ryudamon, Digivolve to...!", yelled the armored Digimon.

His body became longer and a little bit more streamlined and became covered in more armor from head to tail. All four of his limbs were shaped differently, two claws forward and one claw on the back. His limbs also had metal bracelets and armor pads attached to them, and his neck was also a little longer.

"Ginryumon!", the armor clad Digimon shouted.

The CPUs and their Digimon faced against SkullSatamon who just stared for a moment and then laughed.

"You still believe that you can beat me? Haven't you realized that you are no match for me?", he said.

"Even if we're outmatched, we'll never back down!", Noire yelled.

"That's right! The power of our teamwork will defeat any force that stands against us!", added Vert.

"Ha! Like that will ever happen! There won't be any more chances this time! Hahahaha!", SkullSatamon laughed.

He then charged at the CPUs, who did the same thing with their Digimon. This would be a battle that would decide who will come out on top. It was also one that the CPUs and their Digimon could not afford to lose. The fate of their world hanged in the balance!

Well, that about does it for part one of this epic battle. The CPUs and their friends now duke it out in one showdown with SkullSatamon and his goons. The sparks are gonna fly, that's for sure.

On another note, our skull-faced villain mentioned something about the D-Brigade. What do they have to do with all of this? And why do they wish to conquer Gameindustri? Let's hope the CPU's and their Digimon survive the battle to find out.

Hope you enjoyed this chapter. If you did, be sure to leave a review and follow for more chapters.

Stay tuned for the epic conclusion to the SkullSatamon arc! It's going to get toasty in here!
