Howdy everyone! Welcome to another-

Neptune: Oh! Oh! Wait! Let me do it!

Huh? Neptune? You're not supposed to be here. Get out of here!

Neptune: Aw c'mon, Writer. I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing your intros every day. I think they want to listen to the protagonist of protagonists this time.

Ugh... You're not gonna stop, are you?

Neptune: Hmmm... Nope!

...Fine. But no funny business.

Neptune: Awesomesauce! *clears throat* Hello, true believers! This is Neptune, the main character of main characters, speaking to you from across our authors notes! When we were facing Skull-Whats-His-Name and his Troopmon goons, we were all in a rough spot. Then we managed to get my Share crystal back, so me, Nepgear, and Uzume were powered up and energized! But even with everyone working together, our strength was not enough. Luckily, me and my buddy Dorugamon found the power within ourselves and he Digivolved further into DoruGreymon, beat the snot outta bone-head, and saved the day! We were both like "Begone to the dark world from whence you came!" and all that!

Well, that was a colorful recap.

Neptune: Thank you! Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a story to be in. Laters!

Okay... Well, with all of that out of the way, lets get started!

Disclaimer: I do not own Digimon or the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. Both franchises belong to their respective companies.

Chapter 25: Plot In The Works

The sun was setting as the afternoon slowly started to turn to dusk. The CPUs and their friends had returned to the Basilicom, tired, battered, but unbeaten. Worried about what happened, Histoire had to call Compa and IF over to help treat their injuries. Although IF was reluctant to help Linda, the CPUs told what she did to help them. In the end, the Guild agent tended to her wounds. After a few minutes, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

"Okay, all done! Now I'd stay out of trouble for a while until you're completely better, alright?", said Compa.

"No promises. Especially if another bad guy shows up", said Neptune.

"Nep-Nep, my grandpa always said: 'Don't make a bad situation worse.' In other words, no fighting for a while. Nurse's orders", said Compa sternly.

"Aww... okay", said the lilac haired CPU.

Compa smiled at this before walking to the others to double-check on their injuries. IF looked at Neptune and everyone else and sighed a bit. She was still wondering why they take such great risks sometimes, or why they don't let her or Compa know of these things beforehand so that they could help them out. Still, she was glad that all of them were safe and sound. She looked over to Linda, who had Numemon beside her, and walked up to her.

"Why'd you help them out? You know you could still go behind bars for all the things you did before in the past", IF said.

"They gave me a chance to turn my life around. I wasn't about to waste it", said Linda.

"She's a nice lady when you get to know her", said Numemon.

"S-Shut it! I'm not nice! I'm just tired of being a criminal!", snapped the green haired girl.

The Guild agent stared at the interaction between the two and just smirked a bit.

"You know, I think you two were made for each other", she said.

Linda just grumbled, not wanting to get into an debate. IF the then turned to Neptune and Dorumon.

"Are you sure that it's okay to have her around?", she inquired.

"Don't worry your warts, Iffy. She's starting to turn a new leaf, so she won't cause any trouble", said Neptune.

"Yeah. We seen her help us fight the bad guys at the warehouse, so I think we can trust her", added Dorumon.

IF glared back at Linda and just sighed, deciding to take Neptune's word on it. She was still a bit skeptical about it all. Histoire then floated up to everyone.

"I do hope you are all doing okay", she said.

"Yeppers! We're all hunky dory now", said Neptune.

"That's good. Though I still wonder, how did you all manage to retrieve the Sharicite back? I didn't think SkullSatamon could be beaten", the Oracle said.

"We almost thought that we were", said Noire.

"Even when we were all working together, he was still powerful enough to nearly wipe us out" added Blanc.

"But then Neptune managed to get Dorumon to Digivolve to Ultimate level", Vert said.

"You should've seen us, Histy! We kicked butt, took names, and got our Shares back!", said Neptune.

Histoire couldn't help but be impressed. Now the CPUs had their first Ultimate level on their side. Better still, the threat posed by SkullSatamon was over, the skeletal Digimon destroyed, and all four nation's Share crystals were back in the Goddesses hands. The Oracle could now breath a sigh of relief at last.

"I still wish we could have made him surrender. We could have him tell us why he was doing this", said Noire.

"He was becoming too dangerous. We had no choice but to destroy him", said Vert.

"I agree. If that battle went on any further, I don't think any one of us would be coming back alive", added Blanc.

Histoire hummed at this. She too wanted to know why SkullSatamon wanted to open a portal between Gameindustri and the Digital World in the first place. Now that he was gone, the only hope they could have is if he left some sort of clue behind. Neptune saw the questioning look on the Oracle's face and perked up.

"Well I think he said something about an army coming through the gate?", the lilac haired girl said.

"Yeah. We overheard a bit of it. He called it the D-Brigade, right?", Noire pondered aloud.

"D-Brigade... I don't believe I've heard that name before", said Histoire.

"Neither have we. I think it's the name of the army he was going to bring", said Blanc.

"If that is true, then we have a new threat to contend with", said Vert.

"Indeed. I will have to ask Mirei about this. It will take three days for me to contact her" said the Oracle.

"Can't we just use our Digivices to speed-dial her? That sounds faster to me", said Neptune.

"Neptune, can that actually work?", asked IF.

"Sure. If she can call us, I think we can do the same", the lilac haired girl said.

Everyone just stared for a moment before looking at Neptune, who started taking her Digivice out. They then started to fiddle around with it, seeing that it seemed to have many options in it. Then the group stumbled upon a communications setting. Neptune a contact list and saw Mirei's name in it. She then activated what seemed to be the call function. A few seconds later, a small hologram of Mirei appeared out of the small screen. Everyone stood there in surprise. They didn't think that Neptune's idea would work. The holographic projection looked at the everyone and adjusted her glasses.

"I see you discovered the call function on your Digivice. Excellent timing, too. I was just about to call you all", Mirei said.

"Awesomesauce! And do we have some news for you", said Neptune.

"Oh? Well then, do enlighten me", said Mirei.

Elsewhere in the Basilicom, everyone else was resting up in the guest lounge. While Uni, Ram, Rom, and Hagurumon started playing a four-player game together, the others decided to sit around and chat. Adult Neptune had joined the group as they were discussing the day's events. They all explained to her about the Digimon that had been appearing in their world, how the CPUs have been getting their own Digimon,, and how they had to stop SkullSatamon from stealing their Share crystals and open a portal between Gameindustri and the Digital World. It almost sounded unbelievable to the lilac haired girl.

"Well, it seems like you all have been having quite an adventure without me", she said.

"It was squite a shock when we found out there were talking monsters in another world", said Nepgear.

"I don't know. There were talking monsters back in Zero Dimension, so I was pretty used to it", stated Uzume.

"Oh, right. I forgot about that", said the lilac haired Candidate.

Adult Neptune then took one look at Peashy, who had FanBeemon right next to her, and smiled.

"Digimon, eh? Are all of them bugs? I wonder how they would fit in my specimen book?", she inquried.

FanBeemon shivered at this comment. Neither she or her partner knew where that came from, but it wasn't good.

"Easy there, Big Nepsy", said Uzume.

"Hahaha! I'm just joking. You all know that, right?", said Adult Neptune.

Both Nepgear and Uzume felt that she was and wasn't joking at the same time. Peashy and FanBeemon looked at one another in confusion.

"So do they all turn big like that red dragon thing?", the big Neptune continued.

"Oh, you mean DoruGreymon? Yes, they can Digivolve to greater levels", said Nepgear.

"Diggy-volve? Is that something you can eat?", asked the lilac haired girl.

"'Digivolve', not Diggy-volve", laughed Uzume. "It all has to do with the Digivices that the CPUs have."

Nepgear then presented her white and lilac colored Digivice in front of her sister's counterpart. She examined it and was amazed by the design.

"Wowzers! It kinda looks like one of those little pocket game systems we have back in Ultradimension", said Adult Neptune.

"It's pretty cool, isn't it? I still want to know more about these and see what their true potential can be", said Nepgear.

"I still wonder when I'll be able to get a Digimon for myself", said Uzume in a disappointed tone.

"Don't worry, Uzume. I'm sure you'll get one yourself eventually", said the Planetune Candidate.

This made the red haired CPU cheer up a little bit. Then Adult Neptune placed a hand on her chin and hummed a bit. Peashy noticed this and looked at her.

"What is it, Neptune? Why'd you start humming?", she asked.

"I just realized. You said these Digimon came from another world, right?", the lilac haired girl inquired.

"Yes. They call it the Digital World", stated Nepgear.

"The Digital World, eh? Hmmm...", said Adult Neptune.

She then pulled out her Nep Note and started thumbing through some pages until she found what she was looking for. On the page she stopped at was a small pair of what looked like butterfly wings.

"Yo, Crostie! Wake up!", she said.

Peashy was a bit confused. She wondered who the lilac haired girl was talking to before she heard a noise coming from the Nep Note.

"Ugh... What do you want?", asked a voice.

"Huh?! A talking book?", exclaimed Peashy.

"Actually, she's more of a talking book inside of a book. Her name is Croire", stated Nepgeer.

She then explained to her that Croire was a more mischievous version of Histoire, who had caused a lot of trouble for the CPUs and their friends in the past, and how she got caught by the Ultradimension version of Neptune, who had since been using her power to hop through different worlds.

"She's been on her 'best' behavior now... well, sort of", said Nepgear.

"I see...", said Peashy.

"So, what do you want this time? I was taking a beauty nap here, ya brat", said Croire.

"I wanna know, how many dimensions have we went through?", said Adult Neptune.

"How the heck should I know? I'm never let out of this damn book, in case you forgot", the dark fairy said.

"Well I'm just asking cause I want to know if we have ever been to a place called the 'Digital World'", stated Adult Neptune.

"'Digital World?' I don't know that one. Let's see...", said Croire.

Then the pages in the Nep Note started flipping left and right as the dark fairy used a bit of her to thumb through the many entries inside the book. She even mentally went through the pages of her own tome inside the book. After about a minute, the pages stopped moving.

"I don't see anything in here about a 'Digital World'", said Croire.

"Really? Well then, I guess that's another world I wanna see", said Adult Neptune.

"I'm curious. If it was possible, do you think you could open up a portal to the Digital World?", asked Nepgear.

"Well I would IF I had the exact coordinates to it. Dimension hopping isn't exactly easy, you know", said Croire.

The lilac haired Candidate frowned a bit, disappointed by the answer she was given.

"So, is that all? If so, I'm outta here", said the dark fairy before yawning.

The Nep Note then closed up on its own and the lilac haired counterpart placed the book back inside one of her pockets.

"That's a bit disappointing", said Adult Neptune.

"Yeah. I was also hoping there'd be a way to go to the Digital World ourselves", said Uzume.

"I'm sure we'll find a way. It'll take a while, but we'll figure it out", said Nepgear.

Both Uzume and Adult Neptune smiled at this, their confidence rising a little. Peashy looked on at them before turning to FanBeemon, who didn't look all too pleased. The blonde haired girl was surprised by this, not sure what to make of her partner's reaction.

"What's wrong, FanBeemon?", she whsipered.

"It's just... I'm not sure if I want to go back to the Digital World...", the insect Digimon replied.

Peashy then placed a hand on her chin, unsure of why her partner was against the idea of going to the Digital World. She decided not to press on it, though, and looked back at the group, who started to chat away once again.

Back in the main room, the CPUs had explained to Mirei what had happened at the warehouse, ranging from defeating the squads of Troopmons to Neptune's Digimon partner Digivolving into DoruGreymon and destroying SkullSatamon in the process. The purple haired woman nodded at every word before the explanation was finished.

"I see. I must say, you exceeded my expectations. Well done, everyone", she said.

"It was awesome! I never felt such power like that!", said Dorumon excitedly.

"This is all because we're an unbeatable team. Just like that bat-dude and bird-boy", said Neptune.

"Still, even though you now have the power of an Ultimate Digivolution, I'd advise caution when using it", stated Mirei.

"What'cha mean? I think we have it all under the rug", said the lilac haired CPU.

"The power of an Ultimate is not to be taken lightly. Not only will your partner have more destructive energy, there's also a chance that they may use up said energy very quickly", Mirei explained.

"So in other words, they're like gas guzzlers. Very powerful, but they use up more energy quickly", said Noire.

"Bingo. So use it wisely. It can make or break the tide of battle", said the purple haired woman.

"Knowing Neptune, though, I think she'll find a way to screw that up", Blanc commented.

"Hey! I wouldn't be that careless!", snapped Neptune.

"Says the girl who once ate some expired pudding", teased IF.

The lilac haired CPU pouted in defeat, unable to come up with a counter argument. The others just giggled, while Mirei cleared her throat, wanting to get back on track.

"Now, you all mentioned something about the D-Brigade, correct?", Mirei inquired.

"That's right. SkullSatamon said something about bringing them to Gameindustri so that they can conquer our world", stated Vert.

The purple haired woman hummed as she placed a hand on her chin, a puzzled look forming on her face. Histoire noticed this for a moment.

"What is it, Mirei?", the Oracle asked.

"This doesn't make sense. Why would SkullSatamon help the D-Brigade?", Mirei pondered aloud.

"Just who are these guys anyway?", Linda inquired.

"The D-Brigade are an army of Digimon that are mainly comprised of dragon-type or cyborg-type monsters" the purple haired woman explained. "They would have no interest in working with someone like SkullSatamon, unless..."

"Unless he had something to offer them, something that they'd be interested in. In which case...", said IF.

"Yes. The Digital Gate. They must've wanted the technology to cross worlds", said Mirei.

"But why would they want to take over Gameindustri? I mean, we've had bad guys who tried the same thing and got the snot smacked out of them for it", said Neptune.

"Good question. The D-Brigade's motives were always a bit sketchy. Though now it seems that they've gone off the deep end", Mirei said, adjusting her glasses.

"Wait a minute. If they wanted to invade Gameindustri, then what could they being doing in the Digital World?!", exclaimed Dorumon suddenly.

Everyone was now worried, including their Digimon, who looked the most nervous. Their partners were now fearing the worst for their world. They wondered if their home and friends in the Digital World were alright.

"Damnit... Why my world?", grumbled Ryudamon.

"My home...", said Lalamon.

"I hope everything's alright", said Blucomon.

"My own kind... Why...?", said Dracomon, refering to the dragon-type portion of the D-Brigade.

"Not good, not good, not good!". panicked Numemon.

The CPUs felt sorry for their Digimon. The Digital World sounded like it was in trouble and there was nothing that they or their Digimon could do in their current situation. Histoire looked back at Mirei with a questioning look.

"Is there any chance that they'll still try to enter Gameindustri?", the Oracle asked.

"I have no doubt that they might try. But who's to say that they'll stop with Gameindustri", said Mirei.

"Yeah. If the Digital World is in trouble, then we can't just sit around and wait for them to come for us next", said Neptune.

"What are you getting at?", asked Noire curiously.

"I'm saying we should find a way into the Digital World and save it from this D-Battalion!", said the lilac haired girl, butchering the D-Brigade's name.

Everyone stared at her in silence. They could not believe what she was suggesting. They had just stopped SkullSatamon from opening a gateway to the Digital World, and now the Planetune CPU was saying that they should go there themselves, knowing full well that they would have to leave Gameindustri unguarded. They thought she may have lost a few screws in her head, but then Mirei perked up.

"I think that might be the best course of action", said Mirei, causing the whole group looked back at the purple haired woman in disbelief.

"Are you crazy? We can't leave our world unguarded!", Noire protested.

"Indeed. What if the D-Brigade or some other menace attacks our world while we're in another dimension?", added Vert.

"Not to mention that our people will wonder where we've gone", stated Blanc.

"Well we can't just sit around and do nothing! Besides, I wanna see what this Digital World's all about! Don't you?", shouted Neptune.

The CPUs looked at one another and wondered. On one hand, it would be interesting to see another world that was similar to their own, and possibly save it from their new enemy. On the other hand, the thought of leaving their world behind unprotected just didn't sit well with them. If anything happened to Gameindustri and they were unable to do anything to protect their world, they would not to forgive themselves. As they kept on thinking about their options, their Digimon jumped up, a determined look forming on their faces.

"Neptune's right. We gotta help our world!", said Dorumon.

"Even I cannot stand by and let something bad happen to my world", added Ryudamon.

"If we don't do anything, there's a good chance that both our worlds will be in danger!", exclaimed Blucomon.

"We have to go to our home! The Digital World!", shouted Dracomon.

"Even if it means leaving Gameindustri for a while, we've got to do something!", stated Lalamon.

"I'll toss my entire junk collection off the nearest cliff before I let my world get taken over!" said Numemon.

The CPUs all stared at their Digimon for a moment and then nodded in agreement. They all knew that their Digimon were right. If they ever wanted to help their world, they also had to help the Digital World. Their minds were now made up. They would try to find a way to enter the Digital World and stop the D-Brigade in their tracks. Mirei and Histoire smiled as they saw the CPUs and their Digimon set a new goal for themselves.

"Well, it seems that we now have a new mission, don't we?", said Mirei.

"Indeed. I just hope that we won't be making a big mistake", said the Oracle.

"Still, we'll need a way to enter the Digital World", said Vert.

"What about the Sharicite crystals? If SkullSatamon could do it, we could give it a try too, right?", asked Neptune.

"It's not that simple, Neptune", said Histoire.

"Huh? Uhh, I think you have to run that one by me, Histy", the lilac haired CPU said.

"Due to SkullSatamon's attempt at opening a Digital Gate, the Share crystals have taken quite a drain. As a result, they most likely won't have the power that they would need to open a Digital Gate", the Oracle explained.

"It would likely appear so", added Mirei.

The CPUs and their Digimon frowned a bit at this. Without enough Share energy, their Sharicite crystals would be unable to open a proper portal.

"Relax. We'll work out a way to open up our own Digital Gate. We just need more Share energy, as well as a proper way to utilize their power for a Digital Gate", said Mirei.

The CPUs pondered a bit before another idea formed in Neptune's head.

"I got it! I know two people who are wizards when it comes to dimension hopping!", said the lilac haired CPU excitedly.

"Oh? Do tell us then, will you?", asked Mirei.

"I have a doppelganger who's pretty much a bigger Me that has a way of hopping through dimensions. And there's another person who's both a magician and a mad scientist!", Neptune explained.

"Of course! MAGES. and the other Neptune!", said Noire.

"If anyone can help figure something out, I'm sure they can!", Neptune said.

"Interesting. Assuming they can do it, I ask for their help", said Mirei.

"I'll inform MAGES. and the other Neptune right away and send them over to you", said Histoire.

"Agreed", said the purple haired woman before adjusting her glasses again. "In the meantime, gather more Share energy and keep an eye out for any more Digimon sightings. I'll see what I can find from my end. Until then, I will see you all later."

And with that, the holographic feed disappeared as the call disconnected. The The CPUs and their Digimon were now more determined than ever to help both worlds. Neptune pumped her fist in the air excitedly.

"Alright! Let us march forth and do some quests to build up our Shares!", the lilac haired CPU exclaimed.

"Not so fast, Neptune. You're still badly hurt from the last battle", stated Histoire.

"Aww, right. I forgot. Whoopsies", said Neptune.

"Don't worry. At least you'll have a lot of paperwork to do in the meantime", said the Oracle.

"Urk! Uhhh, oh no! I think my arm is broke! My writing arm, in fact!", said Neptune, faking an injury on her arm.

All the other CPUs and the Digimon just laughed, while Histoire just sighed in annoyance. Still, even she couldn't help but smile. The Oracle didn't know if the CPUs will find a way to enter the Digital World soon, but she could only hope that they can keep Gameindustri safe from harm.

Somewhere in another world, the wind howled across a desert canyon. A sun was setting in the sky over the landscape. The sky itself seemed to look a bit strange, as parts of it looked like it had circuit paths beyond the clouds. The land was not like that of Gameindustri.

Across the wasteland, there was some sort of village made of wood, adobe, and other materials. A large orange glow could be seen inside the village from a mile away. Upon closer inspection, however, it was clear that parts of the village were burning in flames. Even some various buildings were set ablaze. What could be the cause of it?

The answer would be made obvious when a bunch of creatures running for their lives sped past a burning house. The small creatures looked similar to one another, but they were different. Some had white fur striped with with on their collarbone, feet and what looked like long, floppy bunny-like ears that were as big as their bodies. They also had a single small horn on their heads, small black eyes, a little black nose, and black toes and paw pads. The other creatures also shared some similar features, except that their fur was brown striped with pink patterns, and instead of one small horn on their heads, they had three.

The bunny-like creatures were running away from something that was burning their village to the ground. From around the corner, another group of creatures were chasing them down. They looked like bipedal lizards who had yellow eyes and their bodies were covered in dark blue digital camouflage. They were also wearing what seemed to look like military gear, including helmets, vests, backpacks, and clawed gloves and boots. In their hands they had what looked like military rifles, armed and loaded.

"They went this way! Commandramons, move in!", one of the soldiers said.

"Yes sir!", the others said in unison.

The squad of Commandramon rushed down the pathway in an effort to chase down the bunny-like creatures. They went past a pile of barrels and boxes as they searched for the rabbit creatures. Unknown to the soldier Digimon, there was another rabbit creature hiding behind the surplus. When he peeked out to see if the Commandramon were gone, it was revealed that he looked like the other white and green Digimon, except that his color patterns were more light grey striped with black colorings.

When he saw the coast was clear, the black rabbit quickly moved towards the path that the Commandramon came from, hoping that there would be no other opposition in the way. When he saw a more open are, he took cover behind another box. Peeking out from behind, he could see some of the soldier Digimon surrounding some of the other bunny-like Digimon. One of the soldiers stuck out from the rest. He was taller than the Commandramon and had a longer tail. He had dark grey armor covering his whole body, a combat knife sheathed on his chest, and a crested helmet that had a clear eye piece on the left side, while the right side had a red cybernetic eye connected to it.

The black rabbit looked on in horror as the Commandramon and their supposed squad leader surrounded what looked like more of his kind. The soldier Digimon had their weapons aimed at the bunny-like Digimon, while the leader stepped forward menacingly. He then swiftly grabbed one of the scared rabbit creatures by the ears, who seemed to be a village elder, slowly crushing his lopes.

"I won't tolerate anymore lies. Where is the Black Digitron?", the squad leader inquired.

"I don't know... what you're talking about- Agh!", the rabbit-like elder said, earning another crushing grip from the squad leader.

"We've detected trace amounts of Black Digitron here, and we aren't leaving without it. If you cooperate now, we might spare your lives", said the leader.

He then threw the rabbit elder into a wall, the creature making a thud as he slammed into it. The other bunny-like Digimon were horrified. They wanted to help their elder, but the Commandramon aimed directly at them, their fingers hovering over the triggers on their rifles. The fear of being shot at and deleted from existence quickly made them fall back in line. The squad leader spoke up again.

"Now, one last chance. Where. Is. The. Black. Digitron?", he demanded.

"I... will not answer... to you... I'd rather die... than tell you where it is...", the rabbit elder said.

The squad leader looked down on the elder, then the other scared bunny-like Digimon before frowning in anger and disappointment.

"...So be it. Commandramon, prepare to fire on my mark and destroy them all", he ordered.

The soldier Digimon took aim at the rabbit Digimons, preparing to execute them on the spot. The black rabbit Digimon looked on in shock, scared by what he was about to witness. He felt like he simply could not stand by and watch his people get slaughtered. He had to do something and fast. Without hesitation, he jumped up on top of the box he was hiding behind and started charging up an attack.

"Bunny Blast!", he yelled as green balls of energy were launched from his mouth.

As the Commandramon firing squad was about to open fire, they turned around to see the energy blasts heading their way. Unable to react in time, they were knocked out by the surprise attack. However the squad leader managed to avoid the attack just in time. The other rabbit Digimon looked towards their savior, only to have their faces struck with horror again.

"Terriermon, What are you doing here?! You should've left by now!", one of the brown rabbit Digimon said.

"I can't just let these guys take over, Lopmon!", said the black rabbit Digimon.

The squad leader stared at Terriermon with his red cybernetic eye, scanning his body both inside and out. After a few seconds, his analysis was complete.

"YOU! You have traces of Black Digitron within your body! Surrender at once!", he said.

"No way, ya big meanie! Bunny Blast!", Terriermon exclaimed as he fired another green blast from his mouth.

The squad leader moved away from the blast and then sped towards the black rabbit Digimon, and before he could react, Terriermon was punched in the face with brutal force. He got knocked on his back, slowly getting back up. Then he looked at his friends, who just stood there in fear as more Commandramon started to surround them.

"Forget about us! Just get out of here!", Lopmon exclaimed.

Terriermon looked at them one last time before turning to run away. One of the Commandramon rushed up to the squad leader.

"Sealsdramon, sir! Shall I order my squad to capture him?", he inquired.

"Negative. I'll deal with him myself. Take the Terriermon and Lopmon villagers away", said Sealsdramon.

"Sir yes sir!", said the soldier Digimon as he went back to the others.

Sealsdramon then gave chase as he went down the path that Terriermon had taken to escape. The black rabbit Digimon was now running for his life as best as he could, the fear of being captured or deleted giving him a second wind when he felt he was getting tired. The elite Digimon, however, was slowly gaining up on him, even when he tried rounding bends and blockading the path with various obstacles. He felt that at this rate, there was no way he could escape.

As Terriermon turned around another bend, he noticed something up ahead. Something was forming in the air ahead of him, sparks crackling and flowing about. Then, a vortex had opened up a few seconds afterwards. The black rabbit Digimon was confused by what he saw. He wasn't sure of what to make of it, but with Sealsdramon catching up to him, there wasn't time to think on it.

When the elite Digimon turned the bend, he saw Terriermon rushing towards the newly formed vortex. A look of shock and anger formed in his eyes. He could not let his target escape from him, no matter what. He pulled his combat knife and then went full speed towards the fleeing rabbit Digimon, inching closer and closer to him. Just as he got close to him, Terriermon leapt into the portal. Immediately after he did this, the vortex closed up just before Sealsdramon sliced his knife at where the black rabbit Digimon once was. When he saw that Terriermon was no where to be found, he growled in frustration. Then he regained his composure as he scanned the air with his cybernetic eye. He detected traces of where the vortex once was, curiosity now forming in his eyes.

"Interesting", said Sealsdramon.

Meanwhile, Terriermon was flying out of control through what seemed like an endless tunnel of colorful lights and energy. He was unable to make out what was going on or where he was going. Where ever he was going, he could only hope that he would end up somewhere more friendly. After about a minute, a hole opened up in his path. Seconds later, he landed on solid ground with a thud. The vortex he came out of then closed up afterwards.

Terriermon got up and shook his head, trying to clear up his senses. When the ringing in his ears stopped, he looked around his surroundings. He could see that he was in a bunch of bushes. Wanting to see where he was, the black rabbit Digimon poked his head out of one of the bushes. His eyes widened at what he saw next. In front of him was what looked like a large city, ranging from industrialized buildings to futuristic structures and other various objects. The sight was both amazing and strange to him.

"Where am I?", Terriermon said in confusion.

And that's about it for this chapter.

The Digital World really does look like it's in more trouble than the CPUs might think. The D-Brigade are more ruthless than anyone can imagine. And it seems a stray rabbit has entered the CPUs world. But why would the D-Brigade be after something called "Black Digitron" I wonder?

And for those wondering, I heard that there was once a BlackTerriermon toy out there, but for whatever reason, there's either no information on a BlackTerriermon or that he might not be canon. Either way, I wanted to include the idea of a differently colored Terriermon besides Lopmon. There will be a reason why later.
