Chapter 6: Singularity F Clear

Disclaimer: I don't own either of the franchises. All characters belong to either Type-Moon or Marvel.

Axel263402: I have an idea for the Lostbelts but we're going to have to see if I can even get to that part of the story first. Now regarding my DC story, I plan to do it a little differently compared to what I'm doing with Marvel. With the cosmic entities it is true that most of them were killed before Secret Wars, but not all of them were killed. We know for a fact that the Phoenix Force and a version of Galactus manage to survive to battle world. So, there could be a chance that other cosmic entities survived as well. But I won't have them summoned as servants. Lastly, just because my story takes place within pre-Secret Wars, it doesn't mean that you won't see the newer stuff of Marvel. After all, stories like King in Black made some reasons that I want to use.

Spiderwitch2211: I promise that there will be interactions between different versions of characters.

Saiyans4ever: Thank you for reading my story and I'm sorry but you won't be seeing Thor until the later Singularities. Now regarding your challenge, while it is interesting, I don't think I would be able to do it. Like I said this is my first story and I want to focus on the stories that I already have plans for.

Reminder anything that is written in italics means that someone is speaking telepathically. Now let's get to the story.

"Lev!?" Much to the joy of the director, Lev Lainur Flauros was alive. But her joy was not shared by the others.

The fact that Lev was even alive is a cause of concern for the other members of Chaldea. After all, he was in the heart of one of the explosions that nearly destroyed Chaldea, so it was widely thought that he was dead. But there he was alive and seemingly unharmed. This was something that Dr. Romani, a longtime friend of Lev, questioned "Wait did she just say Lev? Is he there?"

Dr. Strange on the other hand was cautious of the man, in fact as soon as Lev appeared Strange had ready himself to fight because he could see past the kind disguised that Lev had. Strange could sense something inhuman about Lev and had prepared spells in case Lev had tried anything.

Unfortunately, director Olga wasn't able to sense anything wrong with Lev and started running towards him. "Lev you're alive. Thank goodness! With all these unexpected events I didn't know what I would do without you. But now that you're here, we'll find a way to get through it somehow, won't we?"

"Stop director Olga, don't go. There's something not right about him." Dr. Strange tried calling out to Olga but she didn't seem to hear him.

As Olga ran towards Lev, the man would begin to show his true colors. "So, you're alive Olga and was that Romani I hear. I thought that I told him to immediately go to the command room. Honestly, I'm just so furious with all of these unexpected events. The explosion was supposed to have killed the both of you."

Finally, after hearing those words Olga had stopped running and started to see that something was wrong with Lev. Gone was the gentle smile that Lev usually had and in its place was a sinister grin.

"Master Candidate number 48, I shouldn't have naively overlooked you as an improbable child and to think after all these years the demi-servant project would finally see some success." Said Lev as he then turns his sights to Dr. Strange. "But it seems like you all had help from an unexpected friend there. Where did you come from Magus, you're not a servant and you're certainly not someone from the clocktower? Which is strange, someone of your powers and skills would have been sought after by the Mages association. Never mind, it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from because soon you too will meet your end just like Olga."

horrified at hearing Lev's words, director Olga questioned him, hoping that he was only joking. "L-Lev? Wh-what are you talking about?"

When seeing the terror on Olga face, Lev began to joyfully grin as he began to explain. "You see Olga , you're not actually alive. I planted a bomb directly underneath you and when it donated you died. Well, your physical body died but your mind somehow managed to survive. However, because of your strong desire to Rayshift, you obtain the aptitude for it the moment after you die and was transported to this singularity. How else would you have gained the aptitude to Rayshilft when your physical body wasn't compatible? But the moment you return to Chaldea, your consciousness will cease to exist."

Olga could only fearfully stare at Lev as he continues to speak "But don't you think that too sad of an ending for you. You dedicated your life to Chaldea, so the least I can do is give you one final gift."

At that moment Lev called upon the holy Grail and used its power to open a gate through time and space to the miniature global environmental model known as CHALDEAS. But what was once a miniature model of Earth filled with the lights of humanity, is now a red-hot burning sphere. Lev proceeds to then use the grail to lift Olga towards the CHALDEAS. "Olga, as my final gift to you I'll allow you to touch your precious treasure and be broken apart molecule by molecule. With this you will experience living infinite death. A fitting end for the last descendant of the Animusphere family."

Olga tried to resist the pull towards the CHALDEAS, but in the end she couldn't do anything but cry for help. "No, no! S-someone help me! Please help me. I... I don't want to die here."

With tears streaming down her face, Olga continued to cry at her certain death. Until suddenly she stops mid-way towards the CHALDEAS. Her cries for help were answered by none other than the sorcerer supreme, who used his own magic to pull Olga away from the CHALDEAS.

On seeing this Lev became irritated. "Magi, why are you even bothering with her? She's going to die whether you save her or not."

However, Lev seems to only enrage Dr. Strange. "I won't stand idly by as you force her to experience such a cruel death."

Lev seemed like he was going to do something, but Dr. Strange was faster and was able to fire a powerful spell that destroyed the cliff that Lev was standing on. With this Lev fell to the bottom of the underground cavern and in the process lost the grail which in turn caused the gate through time and space to close.

With holy grail out of the hands of Lev, Dr. Strange was able to safely pull Olga towards him as the gate to the CHALDEAS closed behind her. "It's okay director, your safe now."

But the rageful voice of Lev would soon be heard again. "Why do you humans always want to avoid the course of fate that has been chosen for you all."

It would seem that Lev didn't die from the fall, but he didn't attack either. He simply stood up to face Ritsuka and the others. 'Let me introduce myself once more. My name is Lev Lainur Flauros. I am charged with the year 2017 with the task to dispose of you humans. Are you listening, Dr. Romani?"

When hearing Dr. Romani's name, the other members of Chaldea around Romani, became silent as they focused on the conversation between Dr. Romani and Lev. "What is it, Professor Lev?"

"As a fellow student who studied magecraft together, let me give you some final advice. The future has not disappeared. It was incinerated, the moment the CHALDEAS was dyed crimson. Chaldea is probably unaffected because its being protected by the magnetic field of the CHALDEAS. But I'm sure that anything outside the magnetic field is meeting the same fate as Fuyuki."

"So, the reason why we haven't been able to get in contact with the outside world wasn't because of communication failure but because the world outside is gone." Confirm Dr. Romani

"Hmpf, as always you are quite perceptive. Shame I didn't kill you immediately." Answer Lev as he then continues to speak. "But Chaldea won't be safe forever because if the time within Chaldea passes 2018 then it will be wiped from the universe. Know that you humans will not perish from the inability to evolve, nor will you perish due to war. Rather, you will perish from your own foolishness, your incompetence, and because you have lost the grace of our king! Like a bunch of worthless scarp paper, you'll all be burned away without any trace being left behind!"

As Lev finished speaking, the cavern suddenly started to shake as it then began to break apart around Dr. Strange and the others.

Upon seeing this Lev would leave a few parting words. "Well, it seems this singularity must have reached its limits. That a cursive Saber caused me so much unnecessary trouble, as she tried to maintain this time period even while being awarded the holy grail. Farewell to you all."

But just before Lev prepared himself to leave, he took one last look at Dr. Strange. "Magi if you somehow manage to survive this singularity then I promise that I will personally be the one to end you."

With those last few words Lev left the singularity as the cavern began collapsing. Luckily no one was hurt thanks to Mash using her shield to protect everyone, but Mash knew that they wouldn't last much longer. "Dr. Romani! Please activate the Rayshift quickly!"

"I know! I'm already doing it! But I'm sorry, the cavern may collapse before we're able to get you out of there. So please try to do whatever you can on your side. But I'm afraid this isn't the only problem. Dr. Strange since you weren't sent to the singularity with Rayshifting, we have no way to get you out of there and there's also the problem with Olga." Said Dr. Romani

"I have both an idea on how to save the director and a way to get out of this singularity. Unfortunately, I don't know if I have time to do both with the limited time we have." Answered Dr. Strange

"Then if I'm just going to slow you down, please just leave me behind. Chaldea will need you more than me. After all, I haven't been able to accomplish anything in my life, not when I can't do anything right. I couldn't even tell that I was being deceived by the person I thought that I could trust the most." Olga hopelessly said, hoping that the others would listen to her. but Olga was unexpectedly knocked over the head by Dr. Strange.

While being knocked over the head didn't seem to hurt Olga too much it did help snap her out of the depressing mood that she was in. As Olga held her head in pain, she stared at Dr. Strange as he spoke to her. "Sorry about that, it's just that I learned from a few of my friends that sometimes the best way to snap someone out of something is by giving them a good hit. Now listen to me Olga, you had no way of knowing that Lev was deceiving you and please don't forget that without you, Chaldea may not be where it is today. That alone is worth praising."

Olga was visibly stunned with Dr. Strange and his words. Throughout her entire life no one but her father and Lev would have ever said anything like that to her.

Unfortunately, this moment wouldn't last long as large parts of the cavern begin falling down and would have crushed the group if not for Dr. Strange casting a protective bubble around them. However, by doing this, it made it even harder for Strange to focus on trying to save Olga and getting them out of there.

Dr. Strange would begin to fear that he may not be able to save Olga before the singularity completely collapses. Until someone that Dr. Strange had thought to be dead came to his aid. "Stephen Strange I'll make sure that you get out of there safely, while you focus on saving Olga Marie Animusphere."

"Uatu, is this you? But it's impossible you were killed?" questioned Dr. Strange

"Questions for later, old friend. We must first focus on the situation before us." Answered Uatu

Unable to argue, Dr. Strange went back to trying to save Olga and with the help of the Watcher Dr. Strange, Rtisuka, Mash, and Fou were all safely transported back to Chaldea.

Uatu Pov

Again, I stepped in to help earth's heroes in their time of need. I'm sure if any of the other Watchers were alive to see this then I would once again be put on trial. But with most of my race being wiped out when the multiverse was destroyed, while sad, it does give me the freedom to do all that I can to help Strange and the others from where I am.

"Do you think that it was wise to interfere with my plans, Watcher?"

It seems the being who tried to influence Ritsuka has finally revealed himself to me. When I looked to find the source of the voice, I saw before me a body of darkness that was shaped into a humanoid form. It possessed no clothing apart from a purple cloak that covered his head and a purple cloth that covered the lower part of the body. I can see nothing of its face aside from its piercing blue eyes.

This is Oblivion, the enemy to all of existence.
