Remnant: Angel of Death
Chapter 4: Unasked help.
Azrael opened his eyes and pushed himself up while groaning of pain. He cracked his neck and got off of the metallic table, he hunched as soon as the pain in his ribs forced him to.
"You should rest."
A feminine robotic voice came out from the huge computer in a corner of the room. The desk, keyboards, and holographic projectors were all united into a single hyper futuristic looking computer; the holographic screens showed a circle with smaller ones in it forming some kind of spiral, when the robotic voice was heard, the circles moved outwards matching the decibels of the voice. The keyboards were separated from each other just like the screens; two at the sides and one in the middle.
"I am fine, Rachel. How is our guest?"
"Miss Xiao Long and Miss Vanille are in the living room, they are in the middle of an awkward silence right now."
"Neopolitan is not the talkative type."
"She is mute."
"I know, it was a joke. Did you find anything?"
"Regarding?"
Azrael checked his surroundings. The basement was ample with zones that worked as an infirmary, another one that worked as a laboratory and another one that worked as an arsenal. There was a "closet" inside one of the walls that stored most of his equipment and another one that stored Dust although both of them were nearly empty at the moment. There was a zone that functioned as a shower to clean blood and filth off his gear but it could be used to bathe, Azrael even had hygiene items besides it.
He sat on the chair in front of the super computer and turned to his left to work with the left section of the computer.
"Yang's family and history. Tell me everything."
"Yang Xiao Long, seventeen years old, recently graduated from Signal Combat School and sent a petition to Beacon Academy. She lives in Patch in a two-stories cabin with her father and half-sister."
Azrael breathed out slowly and touched the bandage wrapped around his thorax.
"Her father is named Taiyang Xiao Long, professor at Signal Combat School. Married to Raven Branwen until she abandoned him two years after giving birth to Yang, two years later he married Summer Rose."
"What about her half-sister? Summer's daughter?"
"That is correct. Summer Rose and Taiyang Xiao Long had a girl named Ruby Rose."
"Anything else?"
"Summer Rose was missed in action likely killed in action. Her body was never found just her cloak and a puddle of blood."
"Was killed by Grimm?"
"It is unknown. May I share my opinion?"
"Go ahead."
Azrael turned to the screen of the middle to look at the artificial intelligence.
"I do not think that she died, at least not there. She might be alive."
"Either she was devoured by a large Grimm, killed by bandits, slaved, forced to be a sexual slave, or died somewhere else."
"Sir, I recommend you to be more positive."
Azrael raised his arms to show his annoyance but regretted as soon as the pain in his side made him bend over.
"Fine, fine."
"Should I open a case file?"
"No, not yet. I have many things to do right now."
"Understandable, I will look look for clues for you in the time being."
Azrael nodded and leaned back on his chair. He watched the cameras in the left screen, Yang and Neo were communicating through their Scrolls.
"News about the White Fang or Atlas?"
The holographic screen on his right showed images and maps. He got closer to take a better look at them. Maybe it really should focus on other things but monitoring those two had became part of his routine already.
"High Leader Sienna Khan have ordered the White Fang in Vacuo to build a stronghold. I hacked into their communication system, they apparently are planning to create a training center of sorts."
A map of Vacuo appeared on the screen, a zone was highlighted as the most probable location where the training center was going to be built. It was a big area, given the lack of stable government in the kingdom, the White Fang could do whatever it pleased there.
"What about Vale?"
"There have had not been activity at all."
"Weird."
"I agree, sir. The Happy Huntresses and Defenders of Mantle have successfully repelled a Grimm assault and James Ironwood has communicated his gratitude, rumors in the newspapers says that Mantle is likely going to separate from Atlas and become a kingdom of its own."
The screen showed the Happy Huntresses and well-armed people finishing Grimm off, he didn't really care about their whereabouts as long as no one related their training with him. He had trained them and tried to give them ideals, what they do with them is their responsibility.
"The Branwen Tribe have disappeared."
"Damn, I wish this place had satellites."
"Oh, sir. I have just collected information about your...investment."
"Non-Dust weaponry?"
"Yes, sir."
Azrael folded his hands and crossed his legs. He had spent a ton of money funding small weapon companies in their research for other resources that were not Dust to use in their weapons. The computer he was using right now, had several terabytes of information and science that was unknown or barely researched in Remnant.
The use of gunpowder as propellant for the bullets was not new but little people and armies used it. He had never spent so much money if it weren't for the complications that Dust gave him; Dust used in weaponry could only be triggered by the use of Aura and which limited his arsenal so he investigated and found the weapon companies and helped them to get out of the mud.
"A Light Machine Gun has been developed already and several prototypes have passed every test. Obsidian Mining Company have found several natural mines that will provide its factories with materials for the production of ammo and fuel; as you planned, Wyvern Industries have signed a partnership with them."
"Finally, good news."
"I afraid to inform, sir, that there are not only good news."
"Great," he said with sarcasm. "What is it?"
Azrael stood upand headed to the shower in the other side of the room far from any electronic device. He threw his boxers away and turned on the shower, before hopping in, he unwrapped the bandage and let the water fall onto his body.
"Well, Ironwood expressed to Robyn Hill his desire to meet you. Likely to employ your services as instructor."
"Is that so?" he clenched his teeth. He could not raise his arms. "I don't like it. Check the Armored Mobile Base, keep the camouflage active and the defense system operational."
"Understood. Should I return the drones?"
"Yes, we will work on the detailed mapping later."
While this happened, Yang was enjoying herself in the living room.
Yang stretched her hands after raising victorious from an intense match of Ultimate Grimm Battle 2: Bloody Evolution. The game was about controlling a Grimm and make it fight against others, she chose the Boarbatusk and her opponent, the little girl sat on the couch next to her, chose a Sabyr. The battle was epic and surely would have passed to the history of gaming if it had happened on a tournament; in the end, her Boarbatusk won with just 2% of its health.
"Good game, Neo."
Neopolitan nodded.
Neopolitan was a fair-skinned woman of small stature and a thin body. What instantly attracted the attention was her hair of different colors; the left side of her hair was brown and the other side pink with white streaks; her eyes shared the same trait with one of them being pink and the another brown but she could swear that her eyes also exchanged their color and sometimes even turned white but sometimes it was so fast that she barely noticed it. At first glance, she was
The small woman wore a pink nightdress and brown sandals. Looking at her hair and clothes...she was the one who decorated the place.
"You are really good just my little sister has defeated me but you were pretty close though."
Neopolitan shrugged with a smirk and stood up. She stretched her body and walked out of the living room.
"Where are you going?"
Yang received a finger pointing at the floor as an answer.
"Oh, tell him to come up here, would you?"
Neo raised her thumb.
The small woman walked out of the cabin and headed to the back where a cellar door was waiting for her. She knocked a couple times producing a metallic sound with each hit. Knowing how paranoid the man in the basement was, she raised her head and shook her hand greeting the hidden camera. The cellar door unlocked by itself allowing the pass.
"Woof!"
Neo had just grabbed the doorknob when the bark distracted her. She turned her face to see the responsible, a wolf pup.
The wolf had brown fur and yellow eyes; given its diminutive size, it looked like a cute fluffy ball.
Neo knelt and pet its head, she didn't remember the pup's gender but that was not going to stop her from showing affection. The little wolf got overexcited and tried to climb onto the young woman but that was not possible. That wolf had grown really fond of her and Azrael, it was able to hunt by itself and had a special "hideout" inside a huge tree in the woods that was made for him to be safe since the man that owned the house didn't like to domesticate a wild animal.
She opened the cellar doors, the wolf rushed in and looked for its favorite spot.
The sound of the shower attracted her attention, the times she was there were limited but could remember that she saw a shower in there. With a mischievous grin, she silently advanced to the shower. Her intentions were clear, take a good look at him, sometimes he spent so many time with his gear on that even if you saw him without it, thinking about him instantly brought the combat ready mercenary image to the mind rather than the elegant and handsome young man under the gear.
The shower occupied an ample space, it had two plastic walls. The wall that had the shower was far enough for the water to not soak the rest of the floor which would be problematic to clean.
Azrael was facing the wall of the shower focused on washing his hair and not getting surpassed by the pain on his side. Despite of being hunched, Neo could see his well-trained back muscles and scars in the lumbar area; on his upper back, he had a strange black tattoo that covered from the nape to the end of the shoulder blades, if she had to compare it with something, that something would be really complex pentagram. As her eyes lowered, she noticed an almost black bruise at the end of the right side of his ribcage.
She then kept looking lower and lower. She had taken glances before but now that there were no clothes in the middle, she had to admit, he had a pretty ass.
He turned around still with his eyes shut and singing a catchy song.
"Steady course to the heavens, hew many foemen."
The front of his body was just as well-trained as his back. His pectorals were big but not too voluminous, his abdomen was marked sporting not just a six-pack but oblique muscles which gave him a defined V cut that almost guided her eyes to his crotch.
"My mother told m-"
Neo had to admit that watching his almost always neutral expression turned into a pretty embarrassed one was more precious than diamonds. His eyes opened wide and his mouth froze at the same time the red took over his face. By reflex, he covered his crotch with his hands but the pain made him support one on the wall of the shower instead.
"Enjoying the view?" he asked with sarcasm clearly upset by his own shame. "Didn't take you for a pervert."
She just tilted her head and covered her eyes faking innocence...her smirk said everything!
"Rachel, why did you not tell me that someone was coming down here? Or better yet, why did you unlock the door?"
"You seem to need company, sir. Injured people keep a high morale if they are accompanied by loved ones."
"Why while I was bathing?"
"Miscalculation."
Azrael sighed and looked for a towel just that he forgot to place one near him. Neopolitan had ceased faking innocence and was basically eating him with her eyes with a smirk on her face. A symbol in his left pectoral attracted her eyes, it was weird to describe and kind of cool looking.
A robotic arm with wheels in its platform slowly moved and extended a towel. He grabbed it while giving the robot a death glare, a few years later he probably would have kick it but he learned to control his anger and his ribs hurt too much to even move.
Neo took a last good look at him before going to the computer. She sat on the chair and typed on the keyboard.
"Elves, scientific name: Homo sapiens luminus, are members of the family of great primates mutated by the Light."
Azrael finished dressing up. He smirked at Neo's curiosity about elves and he couldn't blame her, he was a vampire and elf fanatic after all.
Neo turned around and stood up a bit disappointed that he had covered his lower body so fast. His arms also were big and marked but nothing exaggerated, his nearly obsessive training surely paid off. Would she have such a smoking body if she trained as much as him?
She shivered at the idea, he trained eight hours daily only taking breaks when he had missions to do or was injured. If that was the price for such a body then she didn't want to pay it. Besides his well-trained body, there were two things that awakened her curiosity: his tattoos. She pointed a finger at them and tilted her head; she had to use sign language to help him understand.
The tattoo on his left pectoral was strange. Eight tridents pointing outwards seemingly coming out from a small circle that was in the middle.
Azrael understood instantly.
"This is the Aegishjalmur, the helm of awe and terror. It is a symbol of protection and strength, it inspires terror in my enemies and prevents me from abusing my power."
Through sign language she asked him about the tattoo on his upper back. He turned around clenching his teeth to not voice his pain.
"That is Metatron's Cube, a symbol of protection," that explanation was oversimplified but telling her about sacred geometry would just confuse her.
Using more sign language, she began to interrogate him about the origin of his injuries and helped him to wrap a bandage around his torso. She could swear hearing something cracking but was not sure. Each time he was on his own, he somehow managed to hurt himself badly, he would be safer tied on a bed at that point.
"Thank you, Neo."
She nodded and raised her thumb. It was not like she could force him to stay on bed, it would be easy for her to tied him up and prevent him from getting hurt like that but that would not be the kind of thing a friend does to their friend.
"Woof!"
Azrael lowered his gaze to the little wolf and smiled, not a smirk or something like that, it was a happy smile that was rare to see on him.
"Hello, Anthe. Did you miss me, girl?"
Anthe barked full of enthusiasm and tried to climb onto him to lick his face, she was helped by Neopolitan who carried her in her hands. The young woman had to admit that it was kind of strange and wholesome watching Azrael, a ruthless vigilante and unofficial huntsman, being so happy with such a small gesture.
After dressing up, he and Neo headed to the cabin not without extensively checking that the security systems were perfectly fine. Neo called him a paranoid a few times but in the end just rolled her eyes knowing his routine.
After sealing the cellar doors and camouflaging it, Neo halted Azrael and asked him about Yang and what he was planning to do with her. For a moment, he wanted to answer in sign language as well but that would be unnecessary and his movement was kind of limited; moving his arms caused a lot of pain already which was a good deterrent.
"I will take her to the city, retrieve her vehicle and I hope not seeing her any time soon. I do not wish to sound rude but the more people who knows about me the greater the danger. Come with us, I will treat you something."

.
Kuo Kuana, Menegarie
The official land of the faunus, a portion of Remnant that was given to them after their help in the Great War. In theory, that was a nice act that should have shown that faunus and humans were equals but that was not what happened.
Menegarie was a continent which was tropical in the coastline but a vicious dessert outside of it. The arid climate, scarce resources and Grimm made nearly impossible to survive outside of the coastline so the city of Kuo Kana was built there. The Faunus took the fact that they were given such territory as a slap on the face which was perfectly understandable.
Kuo Kuana technically was not a city but a large settlement, the difference was zero once you set foot on its land. The houses were not something you would considerate modern but they were beautiful enough mimicking, or maybe they had it first, the architecture of Mistral which was inspired by Eastern architecture. The houses in this settlement were irregular and all them separated by the main street. At the end, there was large multilevel house that was admired by most residents. There were merchants in the main street showing off their goods hoping to catch the eye of someone.
Near the coast, at the west, there was a zone known as "the Shallow Sea"; that area was an extension of Kuo Kuana composed of wooden bridges serving as kind of over-the-sea district and a port. The place had shops and restaurants mainly focused on marine cosine and activities which was totally normal considering the are and clients. The wooden bridges were tall enough for marine Faunus to transit and block bigger creatures. The water was not deep at all which was not a problem for the Faunus or the fishes; the water itself was pretty clean and translucent so there were little odds of a surprise attack.
In the middle of the Shallow Sea, the bridges let a big space uncovered. This space was, in fact, the main square and was a place where marine Faunus or just regular people went to swim; given the scarce depth of the waters, it was pretty safe for children and was a good place to learn how to hunt fish.
Far from this square and the Shallow Sea, inside of a small subterranean lake, a Faunus woman was relaxing in the warm waters. She was a fish Faunus with the lower body of a fish, gills among the ribs, webbed hands and scales covering her hands and forearms. This type of Faunus was the closest thing to a mermaid that Remnant had, well, whoever who possessed upper body of a human and lower body of a fish along with physical traits that were destined to ease the movement under water should qualify as a merfolk.
This "mermaid" was pretty attractive with big breasts, wide waist and hips, the latter was not a surprise considering the size of her tail which was, logically, big both in length and width to have the strength to move the woman around. Her tail was red with yellow fins and matching hair and eyes; not common from that region, she was copper-skinned. Her dark skin tone gave her an advantage when it came to avoid sunburns but at the price of absorbing the heat a bit more.
"Well, mister instructor, I didn't know that someone as young as you could be so charming."
"If you like, you could explore all of my charms, Aberash."
The "mermaid", now identified as Aberash, moved a lock of hair behind her ear before closing the distance that separated her from the man who had just flirted with her.
The man was young maybe on his 20s. His white hair fell to his cheeks not covering his red eyes due to the locks that usually did so were cut; contrasting with the "mermaid", his skin was rather pale. While the woman sported her attractive body wearing just a golden brassier and "skirt" to cover the important, the man did the same wearing a boxer-like swimming suit. His body was well-trained with marked and big muscles although not exaggerated; there were several scars of varied sizes across his skin from what the "mermaid" could recognize as bites to what she could guess were stabbings.
"It's so considerate of you to want to share such intimacy with a Faunus," Aberash playfully caressed his chest at the same time she got closer.
"I don't see the problem. Why anyone would not share such a thing with you? I am very eager myself."
Aberash rested her head on his shoulder while she drew her entire body closer to his. "Even if I am a Faunus and older than you?"
"Sweetheart, we are passed that phase. I didn't come here to simply thanking you for saving the rookies."
"So?"
"I need to pay you for saving my ass, I would've been kicked from this island if it weren't for you. I hope that I'm payment enough."
Aberash smiled both lewdly and playfully.
"Well, I saved six of them. Maybe I'll need something more."
The man smiled and kissed her, she answered and before they knew, their tongues were dancing passionately with each other. Before he could caress her more, she broke the kiss confusing him.
"Are you sure about this?" she questioned. Given the record of discrimination and hate of humans towards Faunus, she found suspicious and weird that a human would find her quite desirable but there he was with a confident smile.
"Pretty sure."
With those words, she cleared her doubts. Her hands skillfully untied her bra letting her round and soft breasts free. He admired for a moment and looked at her eyes, he swam closer to her and embraced her.
The man and the "mermaid" kissed again.
.
.
.
The white-haired man, now wearing a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, brown cargo pants, and military boots, walked calmly through the main street of Kuo Kuana attracting many views due to his lack of animal traits. While humans were welcomed in the settlement, they tended to avoid it like the plague unless they were merchants or sailors.
A near loud noise made him to reach for his pistol on his belt. He used a combat belt with the pistol on the right side and ammunition on the left side.
"My cashews! Man!"
Just two salesmen arguing, none of his business.
He kept walking until reaching the large multilevel house with wooden siding and brown roof tiles that was property of the chieftain of Kuo Kuana, Ghira Belladona. The leader was a tall and bulky panther or cat Faunus with equally kind and ferocious yellow eyes; the man had imagined himself fighting against the Ghira, even without Aura, the Faunus surely had a strength similar to that of an orc which would be really dangerous.
Ugh, looked at him, making simulations in his mind, many years with the paranoia man had ended forcing habits into his usual behavior. No, that was not true at all. While continuously fighting monsters that are three times your size and able to rip you apart, sooner or later you'd end up being more careful regardless of how dumb or reckless you are. Hmmm, his friend surely would make a plan to take Ghira down if needed.
After knocking on the door twice, he took a few steps back.
The door of the elegant residence was opened by the chieftain's wife.
She was a cat Faunus with short hair and yellow eyes, while not pale, her white skin was of a clearer tone than most inhabitants of the island maybe because she preferred to spend her time inside her house safe from the heat and sunburns. She wore a...black hakama along with sandals and tobi socks, he was not a fan of eastern clothes but his friend was, he surely would have guessed what was the name of the Faunus' clothes. The two black cat ears on top of her head twitched cutely making the golden piercings on them wiggle slightly.
Upon seeing her, he could understand why the chieftain's wife was considered one of the most beautiful women in Menagerie.
"Greetings, young man. What do I owe the pleasure?"
Alright, she was perfect MILF material and his friend could not disagree. That soft spoken yet firm voice was a good addition to her appearance.
"Good afternoon, ma'am. I am Mike Alinac, the instructor, the one who is teaching your people to hunt Grimm."
"Oh, it's you!" she grabbed Mike's shoulder and literally pushed him inside. "Come in, come in, my husband is waiting."
As he was being kindly pushed through the vacant halls, he noticed how the architecture of the place was eastern. His friend would admire it but that was not the case with Mike, he looked around every now and then but without really appreciating the art. Butlers and guards gave him an understanding look each time he passed by one of them; it seemed that the chieftain's wife pushing people around was quite common and judging by the looks, she was pretty insistent.
It was kind of surprising that a small woman like her could "gently" push him around with such an ease. Mike was not specially tall, maybe he was a bit tall but not too much but he was taller than her for one head.
Nearly stumbling with his own feet, Mike was able to walk freely again to enter the meeting room with dignity.
The place was a two stories space with a walkway supported by green pillars above what he supposed was the actual meeting room. The ceiling was made of a darker wood and a candelabrum took care of illuminating the room with surprising effectiveness for its size. While walking to the center where two people he knew were standing, he noticed a few paintings hung in the walls, a nice touch.
He hadn't gotten close enough to talk and much less knowing what they were talking about but the presence of Sienna Khan almost always had to do with the terrorist cell of the White Fang, again, his friend loved that tigress and had a better relationship with her than him; well, there are things you got to do even if you'd like to keep intimating with a gorgeous mermaid.
Sienna Khan was a tiger Faunus. Her black hair was chin-length stylized into some kind of asymmetrical bob from which her two tiger ears came out. She had vibrant amber eyes that went perfectly with her bronze skin; a strange detail about the latter was the apparent tattoos that mimicked tiger stripes. She was tall surpassing Mike for a head.
The tigress wore a form-fitting sleeveless top with white trim, on the back, it had a large diamond-shaped cutout that exposed most of her back and a small equally shaped cutout was just above her breasts. A long gray skirt with white accents and a calf-height slit that revealed her black stockings and sandals with a red lace that tied them to the calves. She also wore a red cape for some reason. Her outfit had more things but Mike didn't care at all.
All he cared about was her weapon that was chained around her waist. A chain with throwing knives with Dust at the end, devastating in her hands.
"Mike!" spoke Ghira Belladona with a firm and gentle voice.
Ghira was a cat Faunus with black hair, beard and yellow eyes. He was tall and muscular as well as hairy. He wore and open dark-violet coat with fur trim exposing his chest, he wore beige pants and long black boots. Two cat ears also came out from his head and rested on top of it. If he had to guess his height, 2 meters.
"That's me. Mister Belladona, I don't want to be rude but I thought that this meeting was going to be private."
Ghira swiftly apologized. "I'm really sorry but this was an spontaneous occurrence."
Mike and Sienna exchanged looks for less than a minute, she didn't trust him but she did trust his crazy friend.
"I should leave," he received a negative response. "Right?"
Ghira, Mike, and Sienna sat on the couches, the butlers had brought tea shortly after. He preferred a good beer but it would be impolite not to accept the beverage, he took the cup and thanked with a nod.
"I know you came here for your pay," Ghira said after taking a sip. "But the current leader of the White Fang wishes to discuss something with you."
"I'm flattered," Mike commented with sarcasm. "I thought you hated humans with the exception of your lover."
"Azrael is not my-"
"I never said who was. Your face is all red, High Leader."
Sienna scowled, she didn't cross her arms because of the tea. Mike didn't care about manners and laughed aloud avoiding spilling his tea by mere luck.
"Alright, alright, I couldn't help it. What do you want from me?" he exchanged a curious look with Ghira, that the High Leader of the White Fang wanted discuss something with a human was rare enough.
"I need a military instructor."
Her words were received with both surprise and skepticism with good reason. The terrorist cell of the White Fang was well-known for its hatred towards humans which was kind of understandable if it were focused just on the Schnee Dust Company but it was not. Mike knew that as extremist as Sienna was, she was no fool; White Fang's operations could not be done by amateurs and she was aware of that. Sienna was swallowing her pride for the cause, he respected that, shame that her way to achieve it was twisted.
Ghira was not the leader of the White Fang anymore but as chieftain of Kuo Kuana, he had to make sure that Sienna's actions don't jeopardize the security of the settlement and its inhabitants. Thankfully, she still respected him enough to inform him of her moves if she thought that they might represent a danger for the settlement, it was the home of the Faunus after all. Ghira leaned back on his coach not saying anything but paying careful attention to the conversation.
"An instructor? Did your men forget how to shoot?" Mike questioned after finishing his tea. "Why do you need me? I think that you are doing just fine."
Sienna sighed as she crossed her legs, she finished her tea and prepared to talk. For her, that was distressful, begging a human for help hurt her pride much more than she would ever like to admit but it was necessary. No huntsman would stay in one place for weeks and their loyalty was null which could be pretty dangerous for the Faunus under her command, the young man sat in front of her was another story. Azrael and him were men of their word, they could have revealed their location to huntsmen or the law in exchange for a tidy sum of money but they didn't. As much as she hated to admit, Azrael and that man were the only trustworthy people she had outside the White Fang.
"I ordered to built a training center, I-"
Mike interrupted frustrating the tigress even more.
"A training center? Your group is evolving," Mike stood up. "Unfortunately, High Leader, I decline your offer."
Sienna couldn't hide her confusion. "What?"
"I haven't finished here yet. I can't simply leave without finishing their training."
The tigress put her empty cup on the table and stood up too. Mike sighed loudly already knowing that she was not going to take a "no" for an answer. In fact, the training of the guard of Kuo Kuana was complete, he was just staying for a simple reason: he didn't want to go to Vale yet.
Mike was not just being lazy, he was giving his friend time with the small ice cream. That man required feminine company ASAP, that friend of his worked way too hard and that was not going to help him to deal with his traumas. Casual sex would help him with his stress but he was way too respectful to even think about touch a woman's shoulder without her consent.
"Alright, if you are not available..." Sienna cleared her throat and averted her gaze for a brief second. "What about your partner?"
"You want your lover to work for you? I didn't know you were that abusive or kinky."
Ghira had to blink multiple times to confirm that his eyes were not deceiving him, the occurrence was so rare that his brain denied its existence. Sienna Khan, the High Leader of the White Fang was blushing. Her red cheeks were barely noticeable thanks to her skin tone but if you tried hard enough, you could see the red on them. Upon witnessing this, Ghira asked himself how many times she got embarrassed in the past and didn't notice.
"He is not my lover."
Mike put his hands on his hips and with a grin -mastered in the art of annoying people-,he commented with an equally playful and irritating tone.
"Why would a man spend the night in your room if he is not your lover?"
Mike saw how Sienna clenched her teeth showing her fangs and he could swear that she made a kind of hiss but it didn't last long as her usual neutral face returned.
"Is he available or not?"
Mike was about to answer negatively but he rethought. Maybe the company of the tigress and the ice cream was what he needed to relax.
Deep within his subconscious, he knew that his friend was going to rip his arm off and slap him with it as soon as he saw him.
And we have a new original character!
Sienna Khan is one of my favorite girls, not everyday you hear about a tiger waifu. Instead of being ambigous I will reveal her age (not official). She is 23.
Azrael and Mike are close to that age but not quite, they are legally adults.
The last sentence of the chapter is a reference to the RWBY fan animation N.Y.O.N (I believe it was something like that)
Hope you enjoyed. Until the next chapter.
