Entry 09: Captain CT-1984-800 [161 Days ABG]
Our new allies are both an asset and a liability!
[Sigh] I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me start from the beginning.
Thanks to intel provided by General Kali'sto and Militia Major Vargaalou and her "burrowrats," we learned that the Separatists have just placed an order for a shipment of fifty tons of Neuranium, a dense metal that can shield from radiation and is invisible to most scanners. Great for concealing objects. Approximately thirty tons of neuranium have been mined, and are currently being processed at a refinery seventeen clicks from our position.
There are all manner of methods to which our enemies could use this, and I believe that striking the refinery should be our first objective. But, I didn't expect strategic decisions to be subject to politics.
Three hours have passed, and we haven't settled on an attack strategy. Kali'sto and Gala are too worried about collateral damage and civilian casualties. Rays seems paralyzed, uncertain of which approach to take. None of us could agree, and after things began to heat up, Kali'sto simply ordered us to reconvene in thirty minutes.
By this point, we're just wasting time.
We know what the Separatists want, and we have the troops and the knowledge to strike back. I just hope that the General and our allies can see reason in time. - End Log
