Staring down the mad Titan known as Thanos, Tony had given it all he could and then some, but feeling the Infinity Stones flowing through his body gave him even more determination to finish what they started all those years ago. Sure the pain he was feeling was absolutely horrifying, but thinking of what would happen if he failed right here, right now…it gave him all the strength he needed to push through it all and stick it one last time to this purple prick.

All the people Thanos had killed in the pursuit of his twisted goal of eliminating half of all life within the Universe, his friends who were risking their lives to stop him…

His patient and loving wife, Pepper along with his sweet and beautiful daughter, Morgan…

Tony started this long and grueling journey as Iron Man many, many years ago and now, feeling the cosmic energy flowing through his veins, he was finally ready to be the man he had always wanted to be. These nightmares of his that had haunted him for so many years…it was time to put them behind him.

Permanently.

"Focus, Focus, Focus, Focus, Focus, Focus, Focus, Focus, Focus, I Wish I Could See Her Grow Up, Focus, Focus, Focus"

"And I…Am…Iron Man," Tony declared as he snapped his fingers.

Many things happened at once, but Tony's entire body felt heavy. Far heavier than it normally was with all the grief and despair he'd felt all throughout those five years. His mind wandered in and out of consciousness as he saw countless soldiers and other minions turn to dust. He even managed to get a glimpse of Thanos sitting down before hanging his head in defeat before biting the dust for good.

"Serves him right. The big purple prick…" Tony lamented as he managed to lean himself against a piece of rubble as Rhodey flew over to him. He removed the front piece of his helmet and placed a hand on Tony's cheek. He understood the sacrifice Tony just made to win the battle, but it still hurt his heart all the same.

Tony tried to speak, but found himself unable to do so. He wanted nothing more than to joke around with him one last time however he could feel himself fading and fast. Soon the kid landed next to him with tears streaming down his face. Did he really look that pitiful to them?

"We won, Mr. Stark," Peter repeated. "We won." He was hugging him and crying like a little baby. If he wasn't on the verge of dying, Tony probably would've given the kid shit for it. Darkness crept around his eyes once again and soon Pepper was beside him and his heart lurched in sadness seeing her like that. He pushed out a meager "Hey, Pep" as he fought tooth and nail to remain with her just a few moments longer.

She placed a hand on his arc reactor and Tony was just barely able to put his hand atop of hers. The man who she had known for so many years, her boss, her lover, her husband and best friend lay dying, but she wanted him to know something before they parted ways.

She looked at him with such lovingness that he already had a feeling on what she was about to say and he desperately needed to hear, "We're gonna be ok. You can rest now."

The darkness that continued to creep up on him finally got the better of him and he took his last breath surrounded by friends and family as the legend of Iron Man came to a close.

Opening his eyes, Tony found himself standing in the middle of a weird looking plain. The sky was reddish orange and there was a large tower in front of him. Not only that, it was if he was walking on water as he could see a reflection of said tower within it.

Somehow though…maybe through a connection to the stone in question Tony knew exactly where he was. He was inside the Soul Stone. But why? He made sure he did everything correctly when using it so he failed to understand the reason he was even here. He should be dead.

At least that is until he locked eyes with a certain silhouette standing under the tower. He could feel a connection between the two and he immediately knew who the girl was. God, he really was the luckiest man alive.

He walked closer and closer to the tower until he was standing directly in front of the person he never got a chance to say goodbye to. The person who had his heart in her hands and didn't have to do anything to earn it other than being herself. His greatest creation. His daughter, all grown up in the flesh.

"Morgan?" Tony felt himself tearing up with joy.

"Hey, Dad," Morgan smiled back at him.

He all but leapt at the woman who was wearing an outfit her mother most definitely picked for her, "It's so good to see you. I'm sorry I never got a chance to say goodbye." His built up tears spilled as the woman returned the hug feeling the warmth her Father was radiating with.

"It's ok, dad. I promise it's ok," She pulled away from the hug and allowed Tony to get a really good look at her as he wiped his teary eyes.

"God, you look just like your Mother. You'll become such a beautiful young woman and I'm so sorry for not being able to see you grow up."

"Dad, don't be sorry. You are my hero and I'm glad I have the honor of being your daughter. Mom and I…we'll be ok. Get some rest, dad. You've earned it."

No sooner, he could feel that damned darkness pulling him away again. Dammit not now. He just got here and now he had to go back to being dead. He wasn't ready to leave yet. He'd give anything to stay just a little longer.

Morgan embraced her Dad as she could feel it was time for him to go. "You remember our saying, right?"

Tony fought to remain with her as his vision flickered on and off into darkness, "Always."

"I Love You 3000," Morgan told him as she remained in the hug.

"I Love You 3000," He repeated back to her as his consciousness finally faded to black and Anthony Edward Stark had finally begun to rest within Earth-199999.

However,

Fate always did seem to shine down on Tony in ways he'd never truly understood. The Universe wasn't done with him just yet. Not by a longshot.

"How could I let this happen?" All Might panicked as he watched the boy he told could not become a hero rush into action in an attempt to save the young man who was currently being detained by the sludge villain.

Watching the boy try in vain to save the small child with no quirk sent ripples throughout All Might and caused One For All to spur within him once again. He had to act now or else both of the boys would die and it would all be on him and his inability to act.

"Now or never, Toshinori! Move body! Move! Move! Move!" He began to pump himself up more and more aiming to end things in one blow with a Detroit Smash, but he noticed the civilians around him looking up at something. It resembled a small meteor that looked as if it was about to crash down directly in front of them.

"What the-"

*Boooooooooom!

The supposed meteor crashed into the ground causing an aftershock throwing people backwards while only All Might was able to remain standing thanks to his strength. He brought his hands forward and clapped, attempting to thrust away the smoke and dust that was now covering the area and among the rubble, he saw a figure lying among the debris. It looked like…

"A …robot?"

"Boss? Boss?"

Tony remained on the ground motionless and extremely groggy. He could faintly hear the sound of F.R.I.D.A.Y. in his ear calling out to him, but that cou;dn't be right. He was dead and deadmen don't hear the remnants of his A.I.

"Boss, please respond if you can hear me."

He blinked a few times as it became quite clear to him that something was very wrong. He could still move his limbs and possessed the ability to breathe. Sitting up as he held his head and shook the cobwebs off, Tony realized that not only was he not dead, he was somehow in his suit.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y.?"

"Yes, Boss."

Tony looked around and saw civilians staring at him in awe. There were humans, but it seemed like…aliens? Maybe they were also mixed in as some looked like they were from other planets entirely. Where are they? Was this even Earth?

"Run a scan of the area and tell us exactly where we are," Tony ordered.

"On it, boss."

Sensing F.R.I.D.A.Y. beginning to determine exactly where he was currently, Tony barely had time to gather his thoughts as he made eye contact with something that looked like green goo holding what looked like kids within it. Maybe this was all an elaborate death dream, but something told him there was much more to it than that.

He stood up trying to move forward, but could see the desperation in the blonde kid's eyes along with the other small child that had gotten wrapped up within it as well.

"Stay the hell back or I'll drown the both of them!" The sludge villain screamed as the boys squirmed within his grasp.

Tony took a few steps back and whispered to his assistant, "Scratch that, F.R.I.D.A.Y. Scan that monster in front of me and figure out a way for me to save the kids without alerting him. He looks pretty unhinged right now."

"Not a problem."

He turned his head to see a very large and muscular man watching him like a hawk. He was maybe half the size of the Hulk and his hair was pointed upward like he was using way too much hair gel.

"I do not know who you are, but you need to stand down and move aside! I have everything under control!"

Great. He was as loud as he was huge. Just great. Definitely not annoying. Tony groaned before turning back to the sludge creature. "Boss, from what I have been able to gather from the database of the area and scanning the composition of his body, it seems like the main body is composed of some sort of mud-like substance which makes him immune to physical attacks-"

"That's not exactly helpful," Tony started.

"If you had let me finish before interrupting, I was going to tell you that the only way to get around that is to splinter his body in a way that makes it hard for him to attack. Basically, one decently sized repulsor should splatter him sufficiently enough."

Using his armor to scan for a weak spot, it locked on to a suitable blast area on the sludge villain. "Will the kids be in any harm from being so close to the blast radius?"

"As long as it's contained enough then they should be fine besides a few scratches, boss. You're good to go."

"Wait a minute…" F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s complete scan of the area that they were in had begun to fully come through and she had to inform Tony of what she learned.

"That gigantic man behind us is called All Might. Apparently he possesses super strength and speed that rivals our own. Boss, we may be able to use him to our advantage."

"Did you get all that from a single scan? How on earth-"

"Boss, I assure you that I will explain how I was able to learn this information, but for now we have to rescue the kids and subdue the villain before they get hurt."

He was about to argue a bit more, but withdrew his argument in favor of prioritizing the rescue. He'd get his answers on what the hell is going on afterwards.

Tony threw his hands up in order to lull the villain into a false sense of security, "Ok! I get it!" He turned to look at All Might hoping the big guy would play along, "We get it! Just let the kids go and no harm will come to you. Scouts honor!"

"Ha! As if I'd believe some crummy hero's false promise to let me go!"

All Might scowled at the robotic man in confusion. What exactly was he playing at? "Young man, I do not think-"

"Now, now, let's not be so hasty. I'm sure we can come to some sort of agreement so we are going to swoop in and remove the kids from your custody, slick." Tony placed his hand behind his back and hoped that the big guy would be able to figure out the timing as he counted backwards from five.

His chest repulsor began to charge up as the villain grew even more agitated. The timing of this had to be perfect or things could get messy.

"Do not play games with me, hero! I will not give up my newly acquired hostages' because you asked nicely!"

Tony smirked under the mask as he was given the green light to fire, "Who said anything about asking?"

He fired the chest laser which smacked into the sludge villain causing him to scream out in agony. Izuku, who had become entangled in the goo, managed to wiggle himself out momentarily while the villain was distracted, "All Might! Help!"

All Might didn't need to be told twice as he sped forward with the full force of One For All and managed to snag Izuku and forcefully yank Bakugou free from the creature's grasp. The moment he leapt away and was far enough from the blast radius, Tony turned up the intensity of the beam and splattered the villain all over the area.

He turned the beam off and sent out mini nano bots to scoop portions of the creature up into containers as the ongoing crowd watched in awe.

"Who is that?

"I haven't seen this hero before."

"Is he a graduate from UA? That quirk of his is insane!"

"Maybe this is his debut! That was super cool!"

Tony listened in, very confused as to what they were talking about. Quirk? UA? And why were they talking about him like he was some new guy on the block? He's Iron Man for crying out loud! The world's most famous and handsome superhero. If these people didn't know him, something was definitely wrong here.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., please tell me that scan of yours tells us where we are. How do these people not know Iron Man?"

The A.I. hesitated before speaking. This would surely shock him and not in a good way, "Boss, from everything I've gathered so far, if I were to turn your universal translator off, these people would be speaking Japanese. We are currently located in Musutafu, Japan."

"Japan!? F.R.I.D.A.Y., How the hell did we end up in Japan? And why are you telling me about a made up city called Musutafu?"

"It's…not fictional. From the current scan and download of this area's data, this is where you are currently. My data is always accurate."

Tony felt his heart race hearing that. F.R.I.D.A.Y. always reported back accurate findings regardless of where they were located. Her information was never wrong and if that's the case then where the hell is this place and why is it not on a regular map?.

"That's not all. The readings and data I am currently downloading and receiving is quite interesting. This place is very different from-"

Before she could continue to inform him of his predicament, wooden tree branches wrapped themselves around him as a wooden man stood before him with his arms folded. He did not look amused.

"State your name and business here stranger! There have been no records of a robotic hero making their debut this day and as the number seven ranked hero, I have no recollection of even hearing a mention of someone like you."

"Boss, my reading shows this man has the ability to generate and control wood that comes from their body. He is also a hero of this world and I advise that you retreat momentarily so I can inform of you about what I have found-"

"Woah there Woody. There's no need to get so rough when I just saved their ass. Why don't we talk things out like respectable adults, huh?" Tony considered taking her advice with the retreat, but maybe he could gain some information from these people. Surely someone here has heard of Iron Man.

The wooden man scoffed, "Vigilantism is illegal and you could have gotten them seriously hurt or worse. You are hereby being placed under arrest. Please do not resist and come with me."

"Vigilantism? Hello! I am Iron Man. Most popular hero in the world and part of the Avengers,"

"Never heard of you nor this Avengers. I do not have time for trivial games boy! You will come with me for interrogation and that is final."

"Yeah about that-" Tony burst free from the wooden constraints with ease and hovered in the air, "I don't enjoy being locked up. Sorry, but I have places to be, people to find and you haven't been very helpful, you Groot knock off. See ya!" He joked as he flew off into the sky hoping that this would be enough to deter them from following him.

Right before his very eyes, a woman in spandex grew to the size of a freaking building quite similar to Ant Man and captured him in her grasp. She was smiling at him while striking a pose.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y. who is this Ant Man rip off and why is she grabbing me?" Her grip was pretty tight and he found it somewhat difficult to move. He could blast his way out, but these people didn't seem all that bad. Rude, sure, but that doesn't mean he'd just blast them with a repulsor for not listening.

"Her name is Yu Takeyama A.K.A Mt Lady and she is also another Pro Hero who is new to the scene. Her ability allows her to grow up to 2062 centimeters in height. She is quite popular among younger boys because of her figure."

"Never heard of her. Related to Scott or Hank?"

"Negative, boss. She has biological parents within this prefecture."

"Surrender young vigilante and things won't have to get so rough. Let's end this peacefully before anyone gets hurt. Also I love your costume! Did you make it yourself?" Yu poked at his helmet which irritated Tony.

"Hey! Hey! Watch where you're touching cupcake! Let me go and I'll be outta your hair in a flash."

She wagged her finger playfully, "Ah, ah, ah. You know what you did was illegal and I can't just let you fly around with that cool metal quirk you've got there. It'd be irresponsible…" She leaned in closer and whispered, "Even if I think it's pretty cool."

"Huh, funny that you mentioned me being cool." Tony built up his chest repulsor again.

"Why is that relevant?" Yu asked.

"Because it's about to get real hot for you in a second." He released a small chest repulsor which caused the woman to wince in pain long enough for him to wiggle out of her grasp and continue speeding off towards the skies.

Yu tried to grab hold of him with her other hand, but Tony swatted it away and tried to maneuver around her in order to escape, but failed to notice All Might entering the fray. F.R.I.D.A.Y. noticed how fast he was and tried to warn Tony that he needed to jet out of the air immediately.

"Boss, you really need to boost-"

Too late. All Might made it all the way into the space that Tony was currently dealing with Mt. Lady and punched him down into the ground. "Well…that sucked."

All Might landed in front of him, "Young man, please do not resist any longer. I understand you only wished to help, but Vigilantism is not the way to go about things. Allow Kamui to place you within our custody."

Tony placed a hand forward and readied a beam. He set it to stun though as he didn't want to cause any permanent harm. Just enough to knock the big guy out. He had a feeling he was especially durable compared to the other two who tried to stop him.

"Yeah, I've heard that three times now and it still sounds pretty terrible to me. Gonna have to pass, big guy," Tony fired a small repulsor at All Might which he dodged and sped over to grab hold of Tony's arm. They both struggled for control as shots continued to fire off from his hand, "Dammit! Lemme go you big idiot! Haven't you ever heard of personal space!"

One shot hit a street post. Another hit a parked car. Another beam hit Mt. Lady in the leg which caused her to stumble into a building and caused rubble and other debris to start crashing down onto the bystanders watching the confrontation. If he didn't do something and fast, they'd most likely be seriously harmed from the damage.

"Boss! The civilians-"

"Already on it!" Tony turned the intensity up and fired a much larger unibeam from his chest which propelled the large man backwards while Tony flew over to where the large crowd was huddled. He stuck his hands upward as his blue solid light shields activated and acted as a tent of sorts that stopped any of the rubble from crushing the bystanders.

"Move! This may look easy, but I really really don't wanna have to hold this all day!" He held it up long enough for them to scurry away from it and over to a much safer location. Once everyone was out he dropped the shields and allowed the rubble to come down atop of him, but was protected by his armor.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., set the jets to maximum and let's get outta here. I have so many questions and my head is starting to hurt."

"I highly advise against this. I have finished collecting the data from Musutafu along with scanning your body to make sure you were not injured and…I'm afraid you need to get to a hospital fast. Your life signs are very irregular. Maybe from the Snap. I cannot be so sure without further tests."

All Might dashed over to Tony before he had a chance to lift off, "Young man, I saw what you did for those people just now and I must thank you for that. Because of my mistake, those people could've been seriously hurt, but that doesn't mean you were in the right. Had you not engaged in this foolish affair then none of this would have happened in the first place."

"I ask you again, please come with us and I assure you that I will personally plead my case for your favor. You have my word."

Tony thought about it for a moment, "I have your word? You'll make sure they take it easy on me?"

All Might stuck his hand out hoping Tony would take it. He gave him a warm smile in return. So you could probably imagine his surprise when Tony flicked him off in return while preparing to blast off into the skies.

"Maybe next time, big guy. See ya round!" And with that, Tony blasted off into the atmosphere at such a speed that not even All Might could even hope to keep up with him without using 100% and suffice to say, that wasn't an option as he barely was able to manifest enough of it to save those two boys.

His mind did wander to Izuku and how even while quirkless he still managed to rush in and act when he, the number one hero, could not. It made him think that maybe…just maybe, he had finally found a worthy successor for his quirk.

"He got away," Kamui Woods stated, disappointed that they managed to let a rogue vigilante escape.

"Aw, don't feel too bad, Shinji! I'm sure we'll get him next time," Mt. Lady replied much to his annoyance.

"I told you never to call me that in public!" Kamui shot back. She only teased him more with his flustered response.

Bakugou remained quiet and contained, still replaying the events from earlier in his head. That villain just caught him off guard, nothing more and nothing less. He didn't need some vigilante to save his ass and he DEFINITELY didn't need some quirkless loser like Deku to step in when he only made things worse. Screw that. He's a sure fire into U.A. and he would make sure that everyone would come to know the name Bakugou Katsuki.

Izuku was stunned in more ways than one. Sure, he was being reprimanded by one of the Pro Heroes who stood by and did nothing while Kacchan was in trouble, but his curiosity was definitely on that vigilante that helped All Might rescue them. His costume looked absolutely insane and the wide array of abilities he displayed meant that his quirk had to be top of the line too. "The ability to fly at high speeds, something that looks like hard light constructs, energy beams and who knows what else he could be hiding. Does his flight use the energy beams or does that come from another part of his quirk. And what about *mutter, *mutter, *mutter, *mutter, *mutter-"

"Deku, stop mumbling already! It's freaking annoying!" Bakugou barked. Izuku blushed, not realizing he had started mumbling out loud while thinking.

"Sorry, Kacchan," He apologized, meekly.

"Yeah kid, this isn't something to be joking about. You only complicated the situation and had All Might not been able to get you out in time, who knows what would've happened," Death Arms scolded him. He continued until All Might made his way over to them with his big hearty expression.

"Now, Now! There is no need to continue scolding these young men anymore. The situation has been resolved and I will personally make sure they get home safely!"

Death Arms nodded and released them into his custody. Sure he wanted to make sure they both got home safely, but he also wanted to speak with Izuku alone regarding something in particular. He already had the heart of a hero and maybe it was time for him to receive a quirk worthy of one too.

Landing on a rooftop a few miles from his arrival spot, Tony sat on the ground and removed his helmet as he was finding it harder and harder to catch his breath. "Ok, now that we have time to talk, mind telling me what the hell is going on?"

"You might wanna sit down for this one, boss. From the data I have collected, there are…some irregularities that need to be addressed before you come to the same conclusion that I have. You most likely aren't gonna like it."

Tony sighed in exasperation. He was supposed to be dead and instead is in some made up city with a bunch of wackjobs flying around in costumes assuming he's the bad guy. "Just lay it on me. I've had a really really really long day or have you forgotten about the part where I, oh that's right, DIED!"

He pinched his nose trying to calm himself. He died, saw a future version of his daughter and then got put through the wringer with those nuts. Why couldn't he catch a break once in a while.

"Sorry about that. I'm just…confused and would really like an explanation for what's going on."

"From the information I was able to gather during our scuffle with those individuals, I noticed how each of the people who tried to stop you was registered under an alias of some kind and not only that, their names and other information was stored away as if it were nothing more than public information that had to be disclosed. It's quite similar to the hero registration act, but far more developed than the one you put together."

"That isn't the weirdest thing however."

"Oh really? And why's that?"

"Boss…I don't know how to tell you this, but there…there isn't any information about you nor the Iron Man persona. I searched Tony Stark, your mother and father, Stark Industries and found not even a single trace anywhere online-"

Tony sat down on the ground feeling a small tingle on his right arm, "Why do I feel like the thing you're about to tell me is more bad news," He sighed.

"There isn't a single trace of Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk, Hawkeye and so on and so on. I couldn't find a trace of The Avengers either. It confused me for a while before coming to an even greater understanding. I couldn't find a single trace of any superheroes besides the ones on file. I would probably need to connect to a larger network before finalizing anything, but you most likely get what I'm implying here."

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., you cannot be serious."

"I'm afraid so, boss. I believe we have been transported to a world not our own."

"Great…just freaking great. Anything else you wanna tell me about since I'm in another whole heap of shit?" He was supposed to be able to finally rest and now he has even more shit being thrown his way.

"Boss, when I scanned your body for any injuries you may have sustained in that fall from when we arrived in this new world, I immediately noticed how the majority of the right half of your body was covered in Lichtenberg scars."

Tony despawned his armor as it retreated into his arc reactor and he went wide eyed when seeing just how bad it really looked. His right leg, torso, arm and his neck all had the lightning shaped scar marks covered along them. He touched them and felt how rough and rugged they were.

"I believe the residual energy and damage from your Snap carried over to your body as it is now."

"What do you mean "my body as it is now?"

"Take a look at your face, boss."

He summoned a small piece of armor that he could use as a reflective surface and what he saw horrified and confused him.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y.?"

"Yes, boss."

"Why do I look like a kid again?"

"I am…honestly not sure. There's so much happening that I can only attempt to rationalize the events that are unfolding. Maybe it had something to do with your Snap? More data must be collected from your body before I can draw my final conclusion, boss."

He could feel a headache coming along and the sun was soon setting. Stranded in a new world, a much different body that was seemingly damaged and nobody knew who he was.

Great.

Just freaking perfect.

"If you wish, I can begin telling you about the information of this world, their heroes and the abilities many possess that are called Quirks. 80% of the human population has them. Vigilantism is also outlawed in this world which is why they would so staunchly attempt to chase and detain you. Boss, there is so much information coming in that it would probably take a few days trying to explain it all. Plus since nobody has seen your face and Tony Stark does not exist in this world, you are invisible to the people looking for you."

"Do you wish to proceed?"

All he wanted was to finally rest and apparently he wasn't even permitted to do that. How long was he going to be paying for his mistakes with creating Ultron? The Sokovia citizens that lost their lives due to his carelessness. The people who died before he even suited up to become Iron Man thanks to him seeing the devastation of his company first hand.

In all honesty, even though he looked like a teenager again, Tony was tired. His wife gave him permission to rest, so why can't the Universe just let him be? Hell, even a future version of his daughter gave him permission to rest as well? Was that nothing more than fate toying with him?

And there it was. The dark claws of depression curling around him as so many thoughts forced themselves into his head and he found it hard to breathe.

Now normally he'd have Pepper to knock some sense into his head and Morgan would be right beside her giving him one of her bright and exuberant smiles as she always did when he got like this.

They aren't here though. Unless a mistake was made, he died and this could be all some sort of fever dream. Although with weird shit like space magic and stones capable of warping reality, it wouldn't surprise him to find out that this is real.

Maybe he'd be able to make it back to his own world and be with his family again…

But also there'd be a good chance that whatever or whoever put him here meant for this to be a permanent vacation.

One thing was for sure, if there was even a small chance…even one as small as a Pym Particle that he'd be able to make it back…

He gave himself a small smile before steeling himself, ready to begin whatever it is that may be needed to make it back home.

Plus he'd be lying if he said this world wasn't intriguing.

"Screw it. F.R.I.D.A.Y., start from the beginning and leave nothing out. Also keep tabs on my vitals in case whatever the hell is affecting me, ends up getting worse. It's gonna be a long few nights and I gotta understand our new environment if I wanna turn a bad situation into a not so shitty one, right? Let's get to studying then."

"Right away, boss."

Sure, he was stuck in an unfamiliar world with no resources, allies, friends or family and was most likely wanted for vigilantism(even if he didn't know that it was illegal in the first place he might add), but if Tony had learned anything from his time as Iron Man, it was that there was never a problem that he couldn't fix if he tried hard enough and never gave up until he found a solution.

He'd been in situations like this all the time(besides technically being dead and stranded in another world) and when the chips were down and his back was against the wall, he always managed to pull a rabbit out of the hat. This situation will be no different. His thoughts travelled to his daughter and the spark within him reignited and washed away the remaining darkness that tried to take hold of his mind.

That tiny little girl gave him all the hope, drive and determination in the world that no matter what happens, no matter how bad things get, even if you're truly alone in your problems and have nowhere else to turn to-

He was Iron Man.

And he could accomplish anything he set his mind to.

I caught covid at the start of the year and suffice to say, it kept me in bed for two whole weeks. Bored out my mind and unable to write, I turned to Marvel movies and I fell back in love with Tony as a character. From beginning, middle and his eventual end in Endgame, Iron Man was on my mind throughout the entire Infinity Saga and MHA has always been an interesting world to explore with other heroes. So I figured what the hell? Why not give it a chance and see how it goes.

The scene where Tony meets his daughter in the Soul World was actually a deleted scene in Endgame that was translated into a comic that you can see here: /Cuttlesworth/status/1129816206754631680?s=20

This is another reason why I wrote that part into the story to begin with. It's so cool.
