Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of the Frozen Flame of love. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I don't own Pokémon, Nintendo, and a few others.
Afton started at Melony and started to spin the ball in his hand as he often did. They still had dozens of plans to do when it came down to it. He frowned to himself before he rolled his eyes and sat forward in his bed before he stared at her before he glanced at her once more as she started to watch TV.
Still? He wasn't at all the type to handle these sorts of silences. He was at least glad that he was more or less on good terms and he wasn't being eaten inside by any doubts that had manifested because of this. It seemed more or less a dream that he had been swept inside of when it came down to it. Melony patted down her hat which she wore all winter. It had honestly been insane when it came down to it.
He tapped on his jaw while he slowly seemed to wait for her to say something while he glanced at the map. He was honestly prepared to do what needed to be done. Afton was well aware of what to do next. Afton smiled at her before he glanced at her.
"We aren't challenging the gym here, correct?" Afton questioned while he folded the map in his hands. "If we aren't? I managed to sort out the landmarks so we can explore them properly and then do things the way you said. It should be a few days if we start to travel towards there by foot." Afton stated while he placed the map on the night table.
He had honestly been one to try and ponder what to do next. They had plans and were following them properly. Their path was more or less clear in his mind, yet he wasn't a fool. There were still flaws in this plan which dragged it down.
"I may. We don't know if it's open at this time." Melony responded as of the second. "I had a lot to do when it comes down to it. There was a lot more to do in the second and there's still a bit to do now. It isn't really easy to handle problems simply by pretending they don't exist and acting as if they simply fade away with more time and effort." Melony added to which Afton simply rolled his eyes.
He said nothing to bother her. It wasn't as if she needed anything at the second anyway. She had far too much on her plate to bother with the small niceties and it wasn't as if they had any real problems to contend with as of now. Both had a lot more plans online and it seemed as if she had more on her plate.
She had more to contend with as of now and it helped that both had better things to do than focus on this. The more they tried to fight this? The weirder it became. Honestly? He considered the idea to be insane the more he dwelled on it.
"What will happen next?" Afton questioned before he tilted his head. "There's going to be stuff to do, you know. Lots of stuff that we don't understand. Isn't going to be easy when we get going on the journey. Going to be pretty weird." Afton stated to which Melony seemed to roll her eyes and shrug at the moment.
Still? He was going to prepare for more work. He had more to happen when it came down to it. There were going to be more plans when it came down to it. Afton looked at the various supplies they held. It was enough to last at least for a few years or so when it came down to it. There was more coming given enough time and effort. The only thing that stymied them was honestly the fact there was going, to be honest when it came down to it.
She watched her boyfriend for the second at the time when it came down to it. There was a lot more riding on the line before she seemed to question this.
"What is going to happen when this ends?" Melony asked before she tilted her head before she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth. "No, I'm honestly asking when this ends?"
She glanced at him with a raised eyebrow. He said nothing as she started to raise her eyebrow higher which only told him that she had been expecting something. He was about to laugh before realizing that this entire fight between them had been silly, it had been stupid, it came back and forth between being odd and simply not making sense while he glanced around.
This was going to change soon, it had to. There was only so much that could be said to change it. It honestly felt as if they had been ripped off at the second.
"We're going to be torn when it comes down to it if we don't get more supplies," Afton stated before he rubbed at his temples. "What will happen next? You've already moved on to the next part of the plan when this happened. We both know what is going to happen when we get to the next city." Afton stated before he seemed to roll his eyes.
He had become a lot harder as of the second. It was going to be odd as of the second. He was going to be ready for this at the time.
"There will be more stops on this map. We both know that." Melony stated as she turned and started to look around. "There will be plenty of problems on this trip, we planned for food, not sort of pitstops in each town. We both know that there will be more to do when we get out of her." Melony added before she flicked her nails together.
Still? There was a lot more to do at the time. She checked her nails, interested in what was coming. She had to be curious as of the second. This was going to be hopeful when it came down to it. It was a lot more hopeful than she had been a few seconds at.
Aaren seemed to find it more enjoyable to be focusing on something else. They had been working their differences out slowly, ripping this apart and bothering them slowly but surely. It was going to be hopeful. She had to end this sooner or later.
She rubbed at the bridge of her nose, interested in what was coming at the end of this road. They had been coming off the tail end of months of this plan. It had been curious at the second. They had been on the edge of their emotions for a long time and dragged around daily. They had to be ready and onto the next move before this one caught up to them.
Melony looked at Afton who was busy looking at his Pokeball. The pokemon had been a very comforting idea to him. He had been on edge for a while. This had become a routine as of the time for them.
"Are you worried about trying?" Melony questioned which made Afton hum and glance around before brushing off the Pokeball.
"No. Just a bit tired. I'm still dealing with the fact that we managed to get here. This was the dream that we had for so long, now? It's here." Afton said before he rubbed at his temples. "We aren't going to be in one place in each city? Each little step around this place.
He smiled before he seemed to question what was going on… There was a lot more here than he didn't at all seem to wish at the time. It'd be interesting to see how much this could end before too long.
Still? if this was to end anytime soon? Well, he'd probably question what was happening because the insanity seemed to be pushing him over the edge. A lot more over the edge than he seemed to be.
He hummed to himself and leaned off the side before this was done and dusted. It'd be a lot more on the line than he wished to be as of the time.
It couldn't be anytime at the time. it'd be a lot more curious as of the time before he hummed to question before this seemed to come down to it. He sighed to himself before he leaned on the wall he tilted his head while he clicked his teeth together this was going to do when it came down to it. There was more to do something next before he hummed before he leaned on the wall before this seemed to come down to it.
There was a lot more on the line before he tilted his head.
He yawned and leaned back onto the bed, he wasn't paid enough in life to have dealt with this at any part of the trip, nor did he expect to be paid at all for any single part of it.
There'd be chaos to pay either way when this was all said and done and he wanted no single part in that at all… If she wanted to tear the entire place apart? That was her thing as of now. All he wished was to be left alone by this before anything bad happened when it came down to it.
There were a lot more questions on his mind. This wouldn't be one of them at the time when this was all said and done at the time being.
He hummed and clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth before he rubbed at his eyes, far too curious as of the time being. this'd not end anytime soon when it came down to it. He could only hope that this had been done before.
He had to question when this was going to be done and over with when it came down to it. This was going to be interested in what was to come next. He sighed.
This plan was a lot more to handle at the time. he had been lying if he didn't know what to say or do when it came down to it.
He hummed to himself before finally accepting this wasn't as interesting as he wished it to be. Anything less and this would be insane… Though he supposed he couldn't exactly blame the way the tide seemed to swing.
Only that she had been worrying him at the moment. She had worried him to no end and it seemed as if he'd be dealing with a lot more problems than he wished to want to be able to handle at the end of the day. It had been fun, but it had to end sometime when all had been decided. He couldn't be decided for now and he questioned for the time being. He didn't entirely know what to say or such. The idea that had been coming down to it.
Still? Afton had been prepared for this at the end of the day and he knew that it would be a very silly plan for him and the others.
He slowly started to question what the best plan was for now. There was something to think about for the time being. Whatever it was had been a lot worse than now.
