Chapter 1: Meeting a Stranger and Rescuing a Family
Inko Midoriya sighed sadly to herself as she watched from a park bench how her son sat alone at the base of a tree in the public park, writing notes in his hero notebook. It had been three months since she and her son had received the devastating news that Izuku was quirkless.
"Can… I be a hero too?"
"I'm sorry Izuku! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
"I should have said yes, I should have. What kind of mother am I? I couldn't say the one thing that my child needed to hear." Inko said to herself depressingly while taking a bite of a chocolate donut. Ever since that dreadful day she had begun stress eat out of guilt for not being able to give her son a quirk. As a result, Inko's once slim figure had begun to fill out more and more, she wasn't obese by any means, but if she continued to stress eat, then she'd have to buy a whole new wardrobe.
"Excuse me, are you ok?" asked a male voice, startling the woman.
"H-huh?" she stuttered before looking at the owner of the voice and immediately began blushing.
Short blonde hair and blue eyes stared back at her. The man was wearing grey sweatpants and tight compression shirt that REALLY showed off his muscular physique with a green sleeveless hoodie over it.
"I asked if you're ok. You seemed upset and I got concerned when I saw you while I was jogging by." Said the man in perfect Japanese despite him obviously being a foreigner.
Fighting down her blush at seeing the very handsome stranger, Inko replied. "Y-yes, I'm fine! Just deep in thought." She said with a forced smile that was very easy to spot.
The blonde man didn't seem convinced but didn't press.
"Well if you're sure, you just looked like you needed to talk to someone. But if you say you're fine then I'll be on my way."
"WAIT!"
The man who was about to continue his run stopped at the sudden shout.
Inko was blushing bright red, she didn't know why she screamed but something compelled her to, and she really needed to confide in someone. Might as well be the handsome stranger she just met.
"T-there has been something bothering me," she began and allowed the man to sit next her on the bench. "Its about my son," she said and indicated to Izuku who had looked up after hearing his mother shout but went back to writing when he saw she was not in trouble.
"He's always dreamed about being a hero like his idol All Might. There was nothing else that mattered to him, it was always him becoming a hero and saving people with a smile on his face, just like his idol." Inko said with a small smile as she reminisced about the times when she and Izuku would play around the house, him in his All Might onesie rescuing her when she pretended to be in trouble.
Her smile then became a frown, "Then a few moths ago, we went to the doctor."
"Your son is quirkless," said the doctor to the now shocked mother and son.
"After that, Izuku asked me if he could still be a hero, even if he didn't have a quirk." The tears were now falling from Inko's eyes, "And I couldn't say yes! All I had to do was say yes! Yes, you can still be a hero! But I couldn't! All I could do was hug him and say 'I'm sorry' over and over again! I'm a terrible person! A terrible mother who doesn't deserve a perfect son like Izuku."
"Don't say that!"
Inko jumped at the sudden exclamation.
"Never say you don't deserve your son just for having a moment of weakness!" the man told her firmly. "No parent is perfect, they're human like everyone else and will make mistakes. They key is to learn from them."
The crying mother wiped away her tears as she listened to the man who had now put a hand on her shoulder.
"Any child would be blessed to have a mother like you. I can tell just by listening to you that you care deeply for your son and would do anything to make him happy. Don't keep punishing yourself for something you had no control of. Just keep moving forward."
As he finished speaking Inko felt lighter, as if a weight had been lifted from shoulders, and it was thanks to the man who had literally come out of nowhere.
"I really needed to hear that. Thank you Mr-?" Inko said gratefully and the realized she didn't know the name of than man.
Chuckling and holding out his hand the man introduced himself, "My name is Oliver Queen, and you're welcome ma'am."
"Inko Midoriya, it's a pleasure to meet you," she said and shook the now named Oliver's hand.
Looking at his watch and seeing the time, Oliver stood up from bench. "It's getting late and I have work later so I need to get going." He told the woman who nodded in understanding. "If you ever feel like you need to talk to someone again, give me a call and I'll listen." He said while handing Inko a card with his name and number on it.
"Thank you, I appreciate it," said Inko gratefully, while on the inside she was squealing at getting such a handsome man's number. She couldn't wait to tell Mitsuki!
Giving her one last charming smile, Oliver resumed his run while occasionally glancing back at the woman who eyes seemed to be aimed suspiciously low as she watched him leave.
(Back with Inko)
Inko tore her eyes away from Oliver's backside while chastising herself, the man had listened to her tearfully breakdown and gave her helpful advice and what does she do? Ogle his behind as he ran?! "You have to admit, it does look very firm, hehe." A traitorous part of her mind thought. "No! I shouldn't be thinking such thoughts!" she tried to tell herself, but again her thoughts went down another path. "And those abs! How would it feel to rub you hands all over those-
"Mom?"
"EEP!"
Inko's nsfw thoughts were cut off by her son, who was staring at her with confusion on his face.
"Y-yes sweety? Is everything alright?" she managed to ask while blushing like a tomato.
"Who was that man you were talking to?" Izuku asked curiously.
Getting her blush under control, Inko answered, "His name is Oliver Queen, he was someone I didn't know I needed to talk to, but I'm glad I did."
Izuku just tilted his head, "Oh, ok. Can we go home now, I'm hungry."
Smiling at her son's innocence, Inko picked him up into her arms. "Alright we can go home, what are do you want for dinner?"
"Katsudon!!" was Izuku's immediate answer.
Inko just laughed, "All right, Katsudon it is!" she said, getting a cheer in response.
The duo then made their way home, not knowing that events that would soon happen would change their lives forever.
(Warning; attempted sexual assault ahead. Read at own risk.)
(6pm)
It was nearly dark outside and the two Midoriya's were walking at a comfortable pace and were nearly home.
Izuku yawned as he held his mother's hand while walking home. Despite only writing in his notebook while they were at the park, he still enjoyed his day and his mom seemed happy too, especially after talking to that man on the bench. Now he couldn't wait to get home and enjoy his Katsudon!
"Well well boys. Look what we have here." Said a voice from an alleyway.
Izuku froze as three men emerged from the darkness and they did not look friendly.
One was a bald man wearing torn jeans and a black tank top and had a longer than normal tongue.
Another had blonde hair in a ponytail and was wearing black pants and shirt with a leather jacket and had a bandana around his neck. His fingernails also seemed sharper and longer than normal.
The last man and apparent leader had short dark hair with dragon tattoo on his neck. He was wearing black jeans and a blue button up shirt and unlike the other two, didn't seem to have a mutant type quirk that was visible, but that didn't help the fact that he was making the mother and son very nervous.
"Well boys what do you make of this? A pretty mother with her cute and adorable baby boy out for stroll. Don't you know it's dangerous to be walking outside alone at this time of night?" the leader asked with false kindness as he eyed the terrified duo up and down.
"T-thank you for your concern, but we're nearly home so if you could just let us pass." Inko nervously said and tried move past the trio but was blocked by baldie, who licked his lips with his long tongue while shamelessly staring at her breasts.
"What's the rush?" the leader asked. "The fun is just about to start." The evil grin that appeared on the leader's face would haunt Inko as she was suddenly grabbed by the blonde and was dragged to the alley.
"NO! LET ME GO! DON'T TOUCH ME!" Yelled the terrified mother as she and Izuku were forced into the dark alleyway.
"MAMA! NO, DON'T HURT HER!" Izuku shouted fearfully as the bald man held him still and forced him to watch as his mother was pushed to the ground and straddled by the leader of the group while the blonde held Inko's arms over her head.
"Don't bother screaming for help," said the leader from on top of the still struggling mother. "There was a massive villain attack on the other side of town and all the heroes are currently there, so no one will be able save you or your son. So by all means, scream your lungs out, it only turns me on more, hahaha." The leader laughed evilly while beginning to unbuckle his pants.
Izuku was crying as he watched his mother about to be violated by these vile men. If only he had a quirk, then he could save her, but he didn't, he was just a useless Deku, just like Kacchan said.
"NOOO!!!"
His mother's scream broke his depressing thoughts, the leader had his pants down and had begun to lift his mothers dress up. Izuku would not let this happen! Without thinking Izuku opened his jaws as wide as he could before chomping down hard on the criminal's hand.
"YEAOWW!!!" Screamed baldie in pain as the tiny boy bit down on his hand. "You little shit! Let go of me!" the villain yelled in pain while the others laughed at his predicament. Baldie pried the boy off his now bloody hand. "You're gonna pay for that!" the villain then delivered a hard backhand that sent poor Izuku into the wall of the alley with resounding smack.
"IZUKU!" Inko screamed in fear as her son slumped to the floor from the massive backhand. A primal furry weld up inside as she watched her son be hurt by these animals. With a spike of adrenaline hitting her, Inko forced one of her hands free and aimed her palm at the man who hit her son and activated her quirk 'Attraction of small objects'. "GET AWAY FROM MY SON YOU BASTARD!"
Baldie was about to deliver another hit to the boy when he felt his whole body get pulled back by an unseen force.
"What the hell-
*Crash!
His body flew back and collided with the leaders, which knocked him off of Inko who quickly yelled. "RUN IZUKU! FIND A HERO AND GET HELP!"
Izuku groggily got up and tried to move towards the entrance of the alley but was grabbed by blond villain who held his sharpened nails to his neck threateningly, making the boy freeze in terror.
"You little bitch!" yelled baldie angrily and backhanded Inko who yelped in pain from the blow. "You really pissed us off now, and just so you know, when we're done with you, we're gonna take our time with your kid." Said the leader as he once again straddled Inko and reached under her dress. "Get ready for the best fuck of your- urfgh!!
He never got to finish his sentence as an arrow had imbedded itself right in his groin.
Screaming in pain, the leader tried to stand up, but was instantly killed by an arrow to the heart. The now dead criminal fell off of Inko, still holding his bloody jewels, while the other two looked up and saw a hooded figure on the rooftops with a bow in his hands.
"Shit it's the Green Arrow!" yelled baldie and tried to make a run for the exit only for and arrow to pierce both his legs, making him fall painfully to the ground and scream in pain before a blunt arrow to back of the head knocked him out. Jumping from the roof, Green Arrow landed gracefully and eyed the last remaining villain.
Blondie knew his was fucked, there was no way he could take on the Green Arrow and win, so he did the only thing he could, he used the child as a hostage.
"Don't come any closer or I'll rip his fucking throat out!" he threatened and lengthened his nails on Izuku's neck.
"NO! Don't hurt my son!" shouted Inko from behind Green Arrow who was silent.
"Hey man, I'm serious! I'll fucking do it! Don't test me!" Blondie screamed and moved his hand slightly away from Izuku's neck, which was exactly what Green Arrow was waiting for.
In less than a second, he had an arrow notched and fired at the villain who didn't even get a chance to scream as the projectile pierced his skull and threw him backwards and to the floor, dead in an instant.
Now free from the villain, Izuku quickly ran to his mother's waiting arms.
"Are you two okay? I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner, there was a massive attack on the other side of town, and it was just recently stopped." Green Arrow explained apologetically as he helped the two Midoriya's to their feet.
"It's ok, I'm just glad you came when you did, otherwise they would've…would've… sob, sob.
No longer being able to hold it in, Inko hugged the emerald archer and cried loudly as what could've happened to her and her son finally hit her.
Green Arrow said nothing, he just held them both in his arms until the police came and arrested the sole surviving criminal while the other two were put in body bags.
A/N: Well…that was uh, yeah that happened. Mama Inko was nearly violated, but luckily our boy Green Arrow was there to save the day. I need to point out that this Oliver won't have a 'no killing' rule, he'll still only capture if he can but won't hesitate to kill the worst of the worst criminals like the would-be rapists.
I know this chapter was more from Inko's pov instead of Izuku's, but I wanted to introduce Oliver to Inko first instead of him meeting Izuku first like in other fics. Don't worry, our favorite cinnamon roll will meet Oliver soon, and begin his training.
