You've told him.

Why the hell did you tell him.

You've told him too much.

I hardly told him anything.

Too much.

It was ploy he utilized often, the 'confessional.' Sometimes they broke, sometimes they didn't. Mahone always created some sin to get off his chest, making a game out of it with himself. What kind of story would get this one to tell? It was fun, he thought, to test his imagination, to spin a story that would strike too close to home.

He had seen hardened murderers break into tears, but this boy would not betray Scofield.

He thought he had known what would get to Apolskis. The mudered veteranarian, threats of future victims, and blood. There was no need to say the blood had been Bagwell's, and the vet had died peacefully, all things considered.

But then you had to throw that in -

Let the guilt do its job -

You told him too much.

so he could do his -

You have to get rid of him.

and bring them all down.

It didn't work.

When he saw the black-haired pixie Apolskis had given up his freedom for, Mahone couldn't help but give a sigh of irritated amusement, and hell, a healthy dose of respect for the only eighteen-year-old in the world that could look him straight in the face and lie.

She looked like she would write him back.

He shouldn't write to anyone, you have to get rid of him, told him, he'll know...

He hadn't told the kid anything. But he wanted to. Confession is good for the soul, after all.

That's why you have to get rid of him. He can't stay.

Kill him.

Kill him.

So he pulled over -

Get out of the car, stretch your legs.

I can't do this -

Don't do it. Don't tell.

I have to -

He told.

He killed Shales. The bullet went right here.

Good for the soul.

Now he has to die.

"I got nothing against you, kid. But they do."

The bullet went right there, and another one and another one and another one

And now he's just killed a kid who stole a baseball card

Then his hands are shaking and from this angle Tweener looks older and he's bald and there's a bullet right there

He took a pill, and for awhile all would be right.

Whee crazy voices. This is in sorta-protest of the hint that Mahone is involved with The Company, maybe, which made me mad. Damn that ambiguous they. But we all know Mahone is a total whackjob so this could work. I hope so, because really, why would anyone bother to kill Tweener? I mean, he's a complete waste of bullets.
