Abject Chaos 2, Why OfA and SC quirks don't mix
Bonus to chapter 2's H&H space station reallocation quirk
The east had declared war on Japan. Jealous of Japan's low crime rate and strong economy, the nations of east and south Asia came together to take what their leaders felt was theirs. Tens of thousands of enemy heroes and military personnel gathered on the Korean peninsula and began the largest naval invasion in centuries.
In this darkest hour All Might decided there was only one who could save them, Izuku. More specifically his devastating quirk. But Izuku himself was rather weak and squishy, not the worst in 1-A but definitely not strong enough to last on the front lines of a hero war. So All Might decided he could do worse for successors and gifted Izuku One for All.
The day after:
Izuku stands with All Might in Tsunoshima, the obvious choice for any invasion, as it was practically the closest point on the Japanese main island to the Korean peninsula.
"You don't have to be here my boy." All Might says glumly as he looks at the many boats approaching them.
"You gave me this power to protect Japan, I should be on the front lines." Izuku argues.
"No, you should be in school, or at the very least a bit behind." All Might says firmly. "You can use your quirk over a long distance. You shouldn't get close."
"But isn't that why you gave me One for All?" Izuku asks with some confusion.
"I gave you One for All so you could protect yourself if the worst happened. I don't want you to charge in and die." All Might insists.
"Alright, I'll fall back. But after I use my quirk. They might just run away after one space station." Izuku says,
"Fine, do it so we can retreat." All Might relents with some hesitation.
"Here we go!" Izuku cheers, activating his quirk.
...
...
...
The resulting rain of space stations truly exemplified why mixing quirks was extraordinarily dangerous.
"I really hope these aren't plus ultra." All Might says with extreme regret.
"No..." Izuku replies, refusing to make eye contact.
The Nuclear hellfire that begins a moment later makes Izuku's reluctance pointless, and Izuku quickly begins running away.
In the end the attack was reduced to its constituent atoms and peace returned to the world. Well to some people. Izuku had the infinite misfortune of spending the next few years in detention, with one of Aizawa's eyes firmly taped to the back of his head.
AN: Sometimes I get the silliest ideas.
