Tales of the Hidden City Part 2

"Hidden City Zoo?"

"Ooh, luxury resort?"

"Battle Nexus?"

"Ooh, Witch Town!"

"Alright," Raph speaks up, getting their attention. "We've narrowed down our list to 200 activities. I don't wanna spend my whole day in the Hidden City voting, so I say we each do our own thing. Mellie, come with me, you're gonna love what I got planned!"

"No, us!" Mikey smiles as Splinter waves his hands. "Our thing is better!"

"Uh, as the boyfriend, I get her for the day," Leo wraps an arm around her as Donnie and April grab her hands.

"No way, she has more fun with us than you," Donnie glares at his brother and it honestly feels like Amy is a tug of rope between all of them. All of them glare at each other with a dominating growl to see which one she would hang out with all day.

"Okay, stop," She holds up a hand to get their attention. She puts down Chewbacon. Ann and Lily just had to be spending the day with their parents... "I'll just spend the day with each of you, that way it's fair."

All of them grumble, but they didn't have much of a choice...thank goodness she has her remote to call her motorcycle when ready.

"That's gonna be one heck of a day, Shakira," April raises a brow at her and Amy waves it off.

"You kidding me? I've handled a colicky baby and a preschool kid by myself before I was ten. I'll be fine. Okay, sooo.." She taps her chin, snapping her fingers. "I need some paper and a pen."

Mikey gives her both, since he has this on hand as being the artist. Amy whistles to Donnie and he turns around so that she can write on his shell. "Let's see, Raph is first with whatever he has planned..."

"Like a boss!" Raph flexes his muscles, Leo looking a bit disappointed. She knows that he wanted her to go with him first, but she'd rather do the important stuff first.

"And then followed by Donnie and April, so that we can do our science projects together..."

"Yes!" Donnie smiles as April pumps a fist.

"And then I have Mikey and Splinter."

"Yay, we're not last!" Mikey cheers nearby and she chuckles.

"And then I'll end the day with Papi!" She smiles a bit and Leo grins.

"Saved the best for last," He kisses her cheek lovingly.

"There, now I have a schedule to keep track of! Maybe...Chewbacon can go with someone else? That way I'm not alone?" She raises a brow at him hopefully and he has a blank look on his face. And that's because he'll eventually get stuck with Leo. "I'll make you your favorite~"

He oinks happily and everyone seems to agree as they separate, saying their goodbyes. "Meet up with me later in your best bathing suit, zebra-boo!" Leo blows a kiss to his girlfriend.

"That nickname needs work, but I'll see you later, Papi," She winks at him with a wave.

The only people left standing are Donnie and April as they're waiting for Amy. They decided to check things out, get some food while they were expecting her. "Oh, there she is," April smiles and waves her over. "Over here, girl!"

Both of their eyes widen as they see Amy with messy hair due to Raph's...joy-ride. And the dragon gave a rough landing... "Don't ask," She holds up a hand before either of them could open their mouths.

"Battle Nexus, here we come!" Donnie cheers next to the girls. "Rumor has it this Shadow Fiend is quite the fierce champion," He rubs his chin with an eager smile. Chewbacon walks off with Splinter and Mikey with a happy oink.

"You go ahead. I'll catch up to you after Shakira and I are done in Witch Town."

"What?!" He gasps sharply at April. "You're asking a witch for help on your science fair projects?"

"Oh no," Amy rolls her eyes knowingly. "Not again with this," She grunts, glancing at April. "See, Donnie's very...skeptical about magic and mystic stuff," She gestures to Donnie. "The whole time I was living there, he wouldn't shut up about how it's not science. He especially kept ragging on my electricity and how it could only be explained by science."

April looks away with a scoff. This is exactly why she shouldn't have told him. "Drop it, D."

"But why not ask me?" He gestures to himself in offense. "Mr. Science~"

"You want the reasons in chronological order or epicness of fail order?" She shows pictures of him at school failing badly, and also with something involving a potato...needless to say, Donnie doesn't have the best track record for science help.

"And let's not forget when you tried to put in double ovens for me at the bakery," Amy holds up her phone, showing the burnt spot where the ovens were back in the past...and that was when the pies came to life.

He crosses his arms, eyeing the pictures. "Hmm. That must have been the work of another Teenage Mutant Ninja Donnie."

"I'm going simple this year: The Science of Chairs. But since chairs are boring, I'm hoping a witch might help me bling out my presentation."

"And I wanna do ovenless cake, but...that has not worked in my favor," Amy glances away sheepishly. She may be a baker, but she's not a miracle worker. She needed a little mystic help, and she knew that she doesn't resort to that with baking. In fact, she's never baked with mystic assistance, unlike Meat Sweats. But it was gonna take mystics to get the project done. "So I'm hoping that these witches could help with that...not with the recipe, though, I have the perfect choice," She smiles, hands on her hips.

Donnie just scoffs at the ideas. "As if. Mystic powers could never be more bling-y than my sweet, sweet science."

"Let it go, Donnie," April places a hand on his shoulder. "Let it go," She walks off and Amy snickers at Donnie's offended expression.

"Let it go?! Do they even know me?!"

"Yeah well, science isn't gonna help me with ovenless cake," Amy looks over her shoulder in annoyance. "Not to mention, you have a mystic crystal in your goggles to sense mystic stuff!"

"That...is a crystal that...scientifically enhances my goggles so that I may see mystic stuff," He pulls down his goggles and examines her face. "Like for example, even without this crystal, I can see that you are expressing annoyance, which is your normal face."

"That's not my normal face," She frowns at him.

"This is you," He points at her, waving his hand in front of his face to mimic her annoyed expression. "And science prevails all!"

"Donnie, whether you like it or not, we're going into Witch Town to help with our projects. So get over it, suck it up, and come on."

"You get over it and suck it up," He mutters under his breath, crossing his arms. She silently rolls her eyes to herself. How Donnie could be seen as responsible out of the four is something she will never understand...

A dragon flies by and lands on top of the sign, which is in another language. It translates to simply Witch Town. The three stand in front of the closed gates, which open in front of them.

"Whoa," April murmurs in awe. She turns to her friends with a big grin, but Donnie looks like he'd rather be anywhere else than here.

They take a moment to take in their surroundings. Some on-goers are looking at a magician do fireworks, a woman is doing potions, and some cat kids are flying off brooms. They fly past the wide-eyed trio.

"Wow...so many cool witches to choose from!" April smiles while Donnie is pouting.

"Yeah, this is pretty amazing," Amy grins at it all.

"Hate to disagree, oh who am I kidding? I'd love to disagree! So, to reiterate, not a fan of mystics."

"Okay. Donnie, if you're gonna tag along on my day, can you just for once be a little open-minded?" April asks him in annoyance. "At least Shakira is behaving herself."

"Maybe because I'm not a downer," Amy smirks, hands on her hips as Donnie glares at her.

"I'm sorry, what was that? I was too busy stewing over how everyone needs to be more like me," Donnie states smugly to the two girls. They glance at each other.

"What a joy! Strangers!" A female voice interrupts the argument, and they turn to see purple swirls nearby. "I'm Mira," She lands on the ground, wearing a purple dress with luscious blonde hair. "Mayor of Witch Town. Welcome, welcome, welcome!"

She creates blue kitties. "Good day, hello! Please sign our visitor's log!" With a wave of their hands, both April and Amy's outfits change. She now has a dark green cape, yellow gloves, and a light green ensemble. Amy has on a pink witch outfit similar to Mira's, with a baby blue cape on her shoulders. She gasps as she looks at herself, lifting up her cape to show white boots in the same style as the mayor's. There's also a baby blue witch hat on her head, and her hair is now neatly styled into a French style braid that rests over her shoulder. And she has pink gloves just like April's.

Donnie just gives them a skeptic look. "You'll stay, don't go, we pledge not to take you to the front!"

They change Donnie into a frog outfit. "Whoa! Now that's a cool greeting," April waves her cape.

"Oh wow, thank you!" Amy smiles as she looks cleaner, examining herself. "I've never gotten anything this nice."

Donnie rips off his costume. "Smoke and mirrors!"

April sighs deeply, turning to Mira. "We apologize for our skeptical friend."

"He's just very...opinionated, and needs to let it go," Amy grits her teeth at the turtle.

"Oh, pshaw," Mira just has a kind smile on her face. "Today is all about making peace, even with our crankiest of neighbors. And I just couldn't leave you all a mess like that, dear. For today is our Peace Offering Festival! Starting 600 years ago by our esteemed founder, Abigail the Good!" She gestures to the giant statue near her. "So, you three kids go, go have some merrily mystic fun!"

"You know, the feeling of 'fun' is a chemical reaction in the brain, so mystic fun will always be science fun. Zing," Donnie holds up a finger, chuckling. Amy elbows him in the arm. "Ouch!"

"You did not just zing our hosts!" April hisses at him.

"You two know I never pass up a good zing."

"You're embarrassing us," Mira, feeling awkward, quickly gets out of dodge, and Amy couldn't help but feel the same. She did not just endure Raph's mistaken identity case and a flirty yokai who looks like her boyfriend to experience this...

"Play nice, D," April warns him sternly. "Amy and I really need their help!"

"Mhm," He hums skeptically.

"Don't make me use this," April holds up her bat threateningly. "And this is supposed to be a good time for Amy so she can pick us as her favorite peeps to hang out with!"

Amy cracks her knuckles as a threat before she registers what April said. "Wait, what-"

"Fine!" Donnie holds up his hands in defeat. "For you two, for one day only, I will just let something go..."

The two smile and then a sparking cauldron gets their attention. There's a witch in the middle of the square practicing spells.

"Through soul to sky, I summon the beast of the Underworld!" She sends blue sparks into the ground, and mystic worms crawl out of them. They crawl around and Donnie frowns deeply at them.

"Whoa! That was so cool!" April exclaims in awe.

"Oh yes, very cool says Donnie as he quietly lets something go," Donnie replies nonchalantly.

"He also needs to shut up," Amy glances up at him. "Before Amy knocks his teeth out."

He crosses his arms, grumbling. It's like she's dealing with a cranky child...

"Darn! Missed another one," The witch hits her knee in defeat.

"I can't believe you just did that!" April smiles at her as they join the witch. "So cray!"

"Thanks," She places a hand behind her head sheepishly. "I've gotta collect the anis worms for tonight's Peace Offering Potion. They're so hard to catch, and I'm like totally behind..."

"We hear ya," April gestures to herself and her friend. "We've got a project on chairs and ovenless cake that we're way behind on too. We were hoping to find spells to get us some...razzle-dazzle and help?"

"I don't have much time, but in honor of Peace Offering Day, I'd be happy to help you out," She smiles, gesturing to herself. "Will something like...this work? Let the sedimentary sparkle!" She spins the rim of a mini cauldron and throws it at a nearby chair. Then she throws a different one into an empty pan of cake, which grows into a giant three-tiered strawberry cake. The chair earns some fireworks.

"Wow!" April exclaims as Amy claps at the cake.

"It looks so delicious!"

"Ooh, fireworks," Donnie grits his teeth. "And instant cake. Science never would've thought of something it was the original inventor of."

"What was that?" The potion maker suddenly arrives, sliding in front of the girls. "Did I hear thou doust need dazzly enhancements? Per chance this!" She twitches, the three teenagers recoiling back in alarm. Green mist is around her as she lifts up the hair.

"Sweet! Y'all are amazing!" April's comment just irritates Donnie further.

"Cool," Amy smiles at them.

"Oh! How lovely! We're helping our guests dazzle up some chairs and make cake!" Mira lands out of nowhere. "I love it, splendid! Come one, come all! Let's show our guests what we witches can do!"

Everyone gathers around her and they all twitch. Suddenly, all sorts of magic and cakes lift into the air. Amy gasps, her hands on her cheeks at all of the beautiful cakes.

"You girls rock! There's so many to choose from!"

"Oh, these cakes look like they could be in the latest baking magazine! Ooh, chocolate covered strawberries, and is that an ice sculpture on top of one?!" Amy exclaims in excitement, she felt like she was in cake heaven.

"Oh, that's it!" Donnie couldn't hold it in any longer. A chair falls as the two girls look at him in shock. "No more! I am unclenching my teeth!" He crosses his arms with a deep frown, the two alarmed. "Your mystic magic is not amazing, it is simple and soft! There, I said it!"

"Donnie!" Amy exclaims at him. "We told you not to-"

"You slight us on Peace Offering Day?" Mira asks angrily. The other witches don't look happy either.

"Of course he didn't," April waves her hands nervously. "He promised he wouldn't," She glares up at the softshell turtle.

"And if he values his life not only from me, he will shut up," Amy narrows her eyes at him.

"April, Mia, I'm sorry, I can stay quiet no longer. You both should have selected me to help you on your projects! Science is king, and I shall prove it through a scientific commendation of biology and physics that I call GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!"

"Wait, what?" The two ask in confusion.

"Let me show you the things that science can do," He then starts singing, and Amy would honestly rather not hear it. "It's good for me, and it's good for-" One of the lasers from his bo staff destroys the Abigail statue.

"Our sacred statue!" The witches scream in horror.

"Ooh," Donnie winces sheepishly as the two girls are in a panic. "Uhh...you know what will fix that? Science?"

"Out!" Mira points at them. "Away, be gone! You are banished from Witch Town! Gentry! Remove these outsiders."

They back away nervously. "Wait, you can't-"

She places a hand on their shoulders, her hat extending to touch Amy's head. They suddenly disappear out of thin air and reappear at the gates. The teenage witch pushes them onto the ground.

"Way to be open-minded, D!" April turns to yell at him. "Now we'll never get help for our project," She facepalms herself.

"Your projects?! I'm the one who's behind!" Gentry gestures to herself, then looking up at the clock. "If I don't catch enough worms in the next hour, the town can't make the Peace Offering Potion. And that is so not good," She smacks her forehead.

"Behind, you say?" Donnie grins as he slides on the floor. Then he appears next to her. "So not good, you say."

"Donnie, no-"

"Lightbulb!" He interrupts the brunette, pointing to himself. "I have a solution!"

The two girls glance to each other and nod. Amy punches her fists and then smacks him across the head. April knocks him into the ground with her bat.

"Haven't you done enough? And did you just say lightbulb?" April frowns down at him.

"Lame," Amy fake coughs at him, doing it again twice.

Donnie stands up with a beat-up face, spitting out a tooth even. "Alright, Gentry," He rubs his palms together. "Science and I can help you get your worms. But," He holds up a finger and she narrows her eyes at him. "Only if you give April and Mia some mystic bling for their projects."

"Really?" April stares up at him in surprise.

"Why would you offer that if you hate mystic stuff?" Amy tilts her head in confusion.

"My offering...for not listening to either of you earlier," He looks away, closing his eyes. At least this shows he's not entirely heartless...

Gentry nods at the girls after giving it some thought.

He opens up the blueprint for the potion, which says all of the ingredients, especially the part where it says aged worms only. However, he crumbles up the paper and throws it away, disregarding it. He smiles as he pulls down his goggles. He drills into the ground, revealing all the worms, even Warren Stone.

"Yes!"

They land on petri dishes he had laid out, and there must be dozens of them. He laughs while rubbing his hands, pressing a button. He summons his drone shell, and it scans all the worms, aging them up. He laughs evilly like he's Frankenstein...

April gets shocked by a chair, caught on fire, and then is forced into the air. Amy looks up in surprise as April cheers.

"Whoo!" She cheers before landing on the chair. She smiles and takes the mini cauldron from Gentry. Gentry then deserves to the three cakes she had ready for Amy. She tries the vanilla one and shakes her head. Then she tries the strawberry one and rubs her chin, shaking her head. Finally, when she gets to the chocolate one, she smiles happily, giving a thumbs up. Gentry gives her the vial and they all laugh.

"Science..." Donnie approaches the three girls. "The bad boy of academic disciplines," He holds out the jar of his own worms.

"Eww!" Gentry looks at it in disgust, the other two looking disgusted as well. "What's up with those worms? They look way off."

"Oh, they're fine," Donnie waves it off. "There were just looking a little small, so I speed-aged them with, say it with me now, science! You did not say it with me."

"That's because they're not the worms she asked for," Amy deadpans at him. "Look, I get that you're doing all of this to prove a point, but maybe you should've just gotten the right ones and moved on, Donnie!"

She had no idea why he was being so petty over this magic vs science thing. Practically the whole time she's known him, he's never gotten this aggressive over the matter to this level. When she was staying in the lair, he just kept trying to convince her to give up her electricity abilities. And while he thinks that the world is better off without it, she and his brothers mainly just ignored it. Because he was being ridiculous like now.

"Well, they look weird, but we're out of time, so they'll have to do," Gentry facepalms in defeat, running off. "Hurry up!"

"Gather, gather, gather," Mira announces to all the witches at the center of Witch Town. "Once again, the splendid little festival comes to a close, with a traditional Peace Offering Potion." Some of the residents place their own ingredients, and Gentry nervously puts in the worms. "The year has gone by," Mira spins around her hands to stir the potion. "And oh so sweet. The Peace Offering Potion is now complete!"

Everyone cheers, the three in the way back. "Well, will you look at that?" Donnie chuckles smugly. "Banished, and I still saved the day."

"Wait, is that why you did this?" April looks up at him.

"No!" He exclaims quickly and Amy gives him a look, placing her hands on her hips. "It's because I was sorry for being so close-minded about how wrong I were..."

"Hm," April glances away.

"I don't buy it," Amy looks at him suspiciously.

"That's all it were!" He exclaims, getting into her face and she towers over him, pointing at the turtle.

"The last thing you wanna do is get into MY face!"

"As Peace Offering Day ends, our old friendships are renewed!" Mira gestures to the distance, and thumps could be felt within the town. Suddenly, a large creature pushes past all the flora, revealing itself to be a big two-horned yokai. The three look up wide-eyed, Donnie gulping anxiously.

"Oh, the Great Morgon...accept our offering and leave us in peace, for another year!" She, along with the other witches, bow to him.

"Oh boy," Amy murmurs slowly, leaning in towards her friends. "This must be a yearly thing where if he drinks the potion, he doesn't destroy the town or something like that."

"You mean like in an anime, where people battle each other with pocket monsters for sport?" Donnie asks smugly as he and Amy smirk at the screen. "We made a reference to the anime AND the games!"

"Yeah, but this concept is probably in an episode far into the anime, like...season 17 or something. I think it was YX? Or maybe in reverse? Ah, who knows?" Amy shrugs at him.

The creature takes a sip and Donnie laughs as he pushes past the crowd. "Your potion was brought to you by science! How do you like them worms?!"

"Donnie!" Amy hisses at the turtle.

The giant looks disgusted by the contents of the potion and then he spits it out. He starts to grow irritated and turns orange, letting out a roar.

"Something's amiss! His orange hue points to worms improperly aged!" Mira clenches a fist and Donnie's smug look drops. The witches all turn to glare at him.

"Oh, he looks fine to me," Donnie replies nervously, and he lets out a roar. He destroys the statue, which had just gotten repaired... "So, you guys got this? I'm sort of late for a thing..."

"Seize him!" The potion maker shouts as they pull out pitchforks! "Seize the scientist!"

Amy and April grab him, running off. Some witches immediately start blasting at the trio. Amy gets hit by a blast, causing her hair to be in the same state as it was when she met her friends.

"Oh man!" She exclaims in dismay, April pushing the blasting witches away. The girls and Donnie hide in an alley as fire is created out in town. This was caused by the Morgon as Donnie nervously holds his bo staff. April looks around at the carnage.

"We need to help them!" April frowns in worry.

"Yes, we cannot let that thing destroy their town!" Donnie declares in determination and Amy looks at him in surprise. He receives a small smile from April.

"Now you're talking!"

"Because when I defeat it with my tech, they will have to admit science is better!" He runs off before they could stop him.

"Donnie!" They both shout at the softshell turtle.

"Geez, it's like he has a one-track mind," Amy huffs, crossing her arms.

"You said it, girl," April agrees with her.

Donnie flies up to the monster with his shell, staff in hand. "Fraiser!" He hits it across the cheek with his staff, then again. The third time he attacks, the monster catches the rocket in his hand, and then squishes it. He rips it off and punches Donnie in the face, knocking him into April. This causes her to drop the spell she got from Gentry, and when the bat breaks it, the mini cauldron explodes. Amy falls and drops her spell as well as her axe. April's spell affects her bat, and Amy's spell surrounds her axe.

"Huh?" April looks at her now mystic bat as Amy looks at her axe. It changes into a small laser gun, which lands in her hands. "Whoa..."

Amy fires the gun, and it turns out to be ice. "Cool! ...Pun intended."

The monster then fires a red blast. "Look out!" The two girls shout, stepping in to save their friend. Amy turns the blast into an ice beam and April smacks it with her bat. It hits the Morgon in the face, causing him to stumble. The witches fly by to attack him and he roars, running forward.

"Dang! Witches got game," April smiles at her bat.

"And they've got power too," Amy examines her new ice gun.

"Lucky mystic swipes," Donnie mutters nearby.

"Oh, admit it already," April replies, fed up with his opinion. "Sometimes, mystic powers aren't all that bad. I mean, just look at Shakira! She uses her electricity around you all the time!"

"I will not!" He glares up at them and Amy growls in frustration, gripping the ends of her hair.

"ARGH! Alright, we've had enough of you and your attitude!"

"Ah! Why?!" April shouts at him. "Why are you so obsessed with proving the both of us wrong on this?!"

"Because!" He slams down his staff. "I'm the science guy!" He sighs in defeat, Amy blinking at him. "If mystic powers can do anything I can do, but better, why would you guys even need me?"

Amy's eyes soften at his now changed demeanor. She and April give each other a look. All that time...he just wanted them to need him...for all of the smart stuff like building the Turtle Tank, helping the girls with their homework...and the mystic stuff, especially with the dark armor.

"Donnie..." April slaps his cheeks together. "How could you say that?! You aren't important to me because of your tech! You're important to me because of you." His eyes widen at her declaration. "I don't think mystic powers is better than science! If anything, they're stronger together! Just like us!"

"When might and magic work as one, there's nothing they can't do!" Amy places her hands on her hips. "And sure, you were being a bit irrational and stubborn, but I honestly think that there are advantages to both sides. And no matter what, it doesn't stop us from being friends. I don't look at you for your tech...I look at you as my brother."

His eyes soften as he touches his heart. He didn't think that Amy would ever say that to him. She was the tough love kind of person.

He leaps forward and hugs the girl, to her surprise. "Thanks Mia. And you're my big sister."

She smiles, hugging him back as April's eyes shine at the moment. "Okay, okay, that's enough," Amy chuckles, pulling away. "And the two need to work together, right?"

He smiles, fist bumping his friends. "Right." The monster's screech interrupts the moment and they look up at the Morgon. "In that spirit, might I suggest science/mystic team up?"

"Now you're talking!" April agrees as they all stand up with smiles. Donnie spins his staff into his hands as Amy waves her hands, activating her electricity. April runs forward as Donnie follows on flight. Amy backflips, vaulting herself into the air. "April..." She grabs onto Donnie's staff and Amy grabs onto her feet. They all spin around rapidly into a circle. "O'Neil!"

Donnie throws the two girls forward. "And bash!" She smacks the Morgon against the cheek, Amy spinning around and shocking it with her electricity. The two girls attack together with their mystic side.

"Fibonacci!" Donnie flies around it as they continue to attack. The Morgon spins around after a hit from April, and Donnie grabs their hands. He flies them into the air and they twirl around in a circle. Together, they hold onto the staff, smacking it on the head. Donnie lands behind the Morgon with April on his shell. Amy lands next to them as they all take on a pose, their eyes white.

The Morgon falls onto the ground as April turns to the witches, spinning around her bat. "Thanks for the accidental power up, Gentry. You the witch!" Donnie and Amy land on both sides of her.

"Witches of Witch Town," Donnie looks at all of them in the eye as he addresses them. "Hear me. I was wrong to not be more open-minded. It's just that mystic powers are the one thing I have not been able to solve." The two girls stare up at him in shock, and then they smile at him for actually stepping up and saying this out loud. "As a man of science, it is maddening to finally come upon something you do not understand. Especially when your dumb dumb brothers totally do and then wave their dumb dumb weapons in their dumb dumb hands all the dumb dumb time!"

Amy's eyes widen at him as she recoils back slightly. "And then your slightly competent surrogate older sister waves her soft and silky hands to activate her AWESOME electricity which I thought could only be explained by science!"

"...Whoa," The brunette blinks at him slowly. She wasn't expecting that kind of rant from him, if she had to be honest. "...Wait, you think my hands are soft and silky?"

Donnie takes a deep breath after that...unexpected stuff he said. "But that is just a long way of saying...I am sorry," And by the look of his face, he truly means it, something that hasn't been seen by anyone in a while...the last time Amy saw him this remorseful was when he accidentally controlled that giant robot he got from the Purple Game...

The damage done to the city and getting hurt that wasn't worth seeing his sincerity.

"And yes, I do think your hands feel that way. I used to rub them against my cheek when you were staying at the lair with us. Kneading dough and creating frosting's made your hands soft as a pillow, like really! I've been trying to replicate that same softness for months now!" He exclaims at Amy, his eyes shining eagerly.

Amy was better off not knowing that, and now just imagining it creeps her out. Maybe Leo and Donnie would prefer it if no one else knows about this...

"You know what, Donnie?" Amy snaps out of it and steps up, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'm gonna say something I haven't said to you or any of your brothers in my life...I'm proud of you for what you did today."

He gasps sharply at her. "Really? You're proud of me?"

"Yeah," She smiles softly at him. "You really stepped up and apologized for your actions. Though next time," The smile turns into a deadpan look. "Don't make yourself crazy trying to prove a point!"

His eyes widen at her in alarm and he holds up his hands in defense. "No promises...but I will try. So, what say you, witches?" He turns to the crowd, hoping that they'll see things in the way that Amy did.

"...Seize him!" Mira declares after a few seconds

"Seize the scientist!" They shout in unison, apparently ignoring his apology.

"Perhaps you do not appreciate how rare a heartfelt moment is for me," Donnie says nervously and Amy ducks away from the witches, waving a hand.

"Nope, I'm out. Like I told Raph, I don't visit nobody in prison. No voy a hacer tiempo por ninguna de tus tonterias. Not to mention, I did promise the others that I'd meet up with them later, I can't just bail!" She gestures to the exit. Yes, leaving her friends in jail is a bad thing, but so will be not keeping her promise to the others if she doesn't show up for activities. And the last time she did that to them, she regretted it.

She was not dealing with another cake made of sawdust sent to her house from them. It was the worst cake that she had seen, and she has seen a lot from the baking world. If her mother still had her memories, she would be ashamed just for Amy bringing it inside the bakery...

"So you're just gonna leave us here for who knows how long?!" April exclaims at her in disbelief.

"Don't worry, I'll figure something out," She whispers to the duo, running away. Because the witches are so focused on April and Donnie, they don't pay much attention to the brunette. Even though she was just as much as fault as both Donnie and April were.

They grab the two and throw them into a cell. April lands on top of Donnie's shell, and they look up to see a slumped Raph.

"Sooo...how was your day?" Donnie asks with a nervous smile, though at the back of their minds, they wonder what he did to get in here...

"Mellie abandon you too?" Raph questions them casually. They look to each other, and then up at him. "Don't worry, we have to trust her. She's got a plan! She's not the type to abandon us!"

At least, he hopes so.
