Summary: Robin and Starfire are upset about a certain Titans fight and they try to fix it.
----------------------------------------------------------
The Titans had just gotten through fighting…themselves. It seems that Gizmo had cloned them perfectly. The cloned titans had gotten away too. So the Teen Titans had gone back to Titan's Tower to get some sleep before fighting the clones again.
It might have seemed like everyone in Jump City was asleep, but that was wrong. Everyone but two very tired looking titans, Starfire and Robin. They had been fighting each other's clones and they were having trouble sleeping because of it. It was all because of Gizmo-and they knew that but they were still very upset about having to fight each other.
Starfire finally decided to go try to calm down in the living room. Robin also decided to do the same. They are both thinking of each other when they see each other at the door. They both blush furiously at the sight of the other.
Robin rubs the back of his neck nervously as he stutters. "Um…hey…Starfire, what are you doing awake?"
"I'm still very upset about what happened earlier friend Robin," Starfire says nervously.
"Yah…me too," Robin sighs.
"Friend Robin?" Starfire asks.
Robin replies, "Yah, Star, What's up?"
"What happens when we fight tomorrow? What happens if I accidentally hit the real you? Or you, me?" Starfire asks, scared.
"Well…" Robin thinks about it for a second. "I don't know. We just have to be careful enough not to do that I guess."
"What happens if I cannot tell? I do not wish to hurt you Robin." Starfire feels tears come to her eyes.
"I don't know what to tell you Star." Robin smiles at her. "I'm sure we'll be fine."
Starfire snaps at Robin, "How can you be sure? Robin, what if you end up dead?"
Robin smiles, "I'll tell you what. If I die, then I want you to know something."
Starfire looks
confused, "Friend Robin, what is it?"
"I love you."
"Oh…I love you too, Robin."
She jumps up and kisses him. When they pull away they look at each other nervously.
"Um…" Robin doesn't know what to say to that.
"Oh…" Starfire says, realization occurring. "Did I get the carried away? I'm sorry friend Robin. I thought that you meant love-like-"
Robin smiles and interrupts her, "I did. I just didn't know what to say to that-"
"Do all kisses feel like fireworks like in the movies?" Starfire asks hesitantly.
"No." Robin says, slightly depressed that she had to ask. "You have to find the person that makes the sparks."
"I don't think that I do." Starfire says nonchalantly.
Robin is alarmed by this, "Why not?"
Starfire laughs a little. "Because, Sparky, I felt fireworks."
She ruffled his hair and he let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding in.
"Good…So did I. Now should we get some sleep, Star."
"After one thing, Sparky."
She pulled him into another kiss. This one more passionate and 'sparky' than the last. Then they walked hand in hand back to their rooms. But not before they could both say three very important words.
'I love you'
