Shocks and Needles

"Family has your back, even when it hurts."

Day 2. 11:02 AM.

The turtles followed Sophie through the hallways once more. None of them said a thing, the turtles were focused on something else. They couldn't stop watching Raph, who could barely walk. His eyes were closing up and as much as he was trying to hide it, he couldn't walk straight. Even though they wanted to ask him what was going on, they knew that he would just insult them or tell them that he was fine. Even Mikey was feeling a lot better after exercising.

Finally, they arrived to the end of the hallway, which had two different doors on it.

"Alright, now I need you to get inside. Michelangelo and Leonardo, please go inside the first room and Raphael and Donatello, please enter the second one. They'll be doctors waiting for you and your bodyguards will enter with you."

"What are they going to do to us?" Donnie asked.

"Just find out your allergies. They need to know if you are allergic to some type of medicine… Raphael, are you feeling alright?" Sophie asked.

Raph delayed some seconds in answering, but finally he managed to talk.

"It's not like you care about it, so yes, I'm cool." He said with weakness on his voice and a pale face.

Sophie looked like if she didn't know how to answer to that.

"Uh… Please get into the rooms." She ordered.

Neither Leonardo nor Mikey wanted to leave Raph, but they had to. After all, he was entering with Donnie so at least they knew that he wasn't alone.

Leo and Mikey entered the room with two bodyguards behind them. The room was really small. It had four chairs next to a wall and in front of that, there was a desk with two more chairs, one behind and one in front of the desk.

There was a female doctor at the other side of the desk. She had lots of tiny crystal flasks at the desk. She seemed to have between forty and fifty years old. She had blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Paige. One of you can sit at my desk while the other one waits at the chairs with the bodyguards."

Leo looked at Mikey, who hadn't said a thing. Leo knew that he was nervous.

"Do you want me to go first?" He asked.

Mikey just nodded as he sat with the bodyguards. Leo sat up at the desk.

As soon as he sat down, Dr. Paige started writing numbers on his upper right arm without any explanation.

"So… What will you do exactly?" Leo asked curious.

"I'm going to test some substances in your skin to find out if you have any allergies."

That was all she said. Leo could find out right away that she wasn't very talkative. Mikey was just sitting with the bodyguards, trying to figure out what was she going to do. He was feeling better now. The headache had disappeared.

When Dr. Paige was done writing numbers on Leo's forearms, she opened a cooler she had next to her and started putting out the things she would need. Leo looked at Mikey. He smiled at him. Leo wanted him to calm down, but he couldn't blame him to be afraid. They didn't know anything of what those people wanted with them.

Then, things got complicated when both, Mikey and Leo noticed that what Dr. Paige was putting in her desk were eight different flasks, each one with a syringe on the top. Leo really didn't had a problem with needles, but Mikey had a phobia and he knew it was very hard for him to control himself in those situations.

Leo looked at Mikey. He could see his eyes widening open. Leo smiled at him once more. Mikey replied the smile, even though Leo knew that he was doing his best to fake it.

Dr. Paige cleaned Leo´s arm and started injecting the substances. He could barely feel the poke of the needle, but he knew that was not going to stop Mikey from doing drama. After some minutes, Dr. Paige was finally done with Leo. Before she said a thing and before anyone even moved, Mikey did. He suddenly started attacking the two guards who didn´t saw it coming. He used his knee to kick a bodyguard's face and then used both of his hands to punch the other guard. Even though Mikey had the handcuffs on, he didn´t hesitated on punching both of the guards and running to the door.

Leo hadn´t say a thing, until he saw one of the bodyguards standing up and taking out a teaser gun.

"Mikey, wait!" Leo shouted.

As soon as Leo yelled, one of the bodyguards electrocuted Mikey before he could open the door. Mikey scram in pain and fell to the floor. Then, the bodyguards carried him to the chair where Leo was.

"Don´t hurt him!" Leo yelled once more as he stood up to defend his younger brother, but the only thing that the guards did was to push him away from the chair. After that, they sat Mikey on it, who was barely conscious, but still shaking.

"Stay away from me! Please don´t do this!" He managed to cry.

Leo couldn´t take that anymore. Watching his brother suffer and seeing two bodyguards hurt him, that wasn´t going to happen. Not on his watch.

That was when Leo jumped to attack the guards. He didn´t even thought about it nor the consequences. The only thing he cared about was to protect Mikey.

"Leave him alone!" He yelled as he kicked one of them in the stomach and tackled the other one down.

One of the bodyguards immobilized Mikey and the other one fought against Leo. After some seconds, the bodyguard managed to electrocute him. Leo fell to the floor in pain. Even tho Leo wasn´t on his feet anymore, the bodyguard didn´t stopped electrocuting him.

"Leo!" Mikey scram as he saw his big brother shouting with pain.

"Hold still turtle! Let her do what she has to! Every time you move, your brother gets electrocuted! Is it clear?" The bodyguard who had Leo against the floor yelled as he stopped shocking Leo, who could barely move.

Mikey started crying. He was scared. He definitely regretted running to that door. He just wanted to escape that place.

"Is it clear?" The bodyguard repeated in a stronger tone.

He nodded. Mikey couldn´t say a word.

"And you, stay down. If you get up, your little brother gets shocked." The bodyguard told Leo as he kicked him on the stomach, just where he had just been electrocuted.

Dr. Paige started giving orders to Mikey, who didn´t replied anything and even though he couldn't stop shaking, he just followed them. He felt like he had done enough damage to his brother. Mikey held still through the whole process. He didn´t even talked, he just cried and let out some small whimpers sometimes.

After some minutes that seemed an eternity, Dr. Paige was finished. She looked surprised.

"Uh… can you bring the blue turtle please?" She told the bodyguard, who immediately pulled Leo up and made him walk to the desk.

Dr. Paige checked both, Mikey´s and Leo´s arms.

"Okay… you boys have no allergies at all."

She grabbed her pen and starting writing notes on a notebook when she finally told the bodyguard that they could leave and that she was done.

The bodyguards pushed the turtles out of the room. Raph and Donnie were already in the hallway. Raph looked worse than before.

"Mikey, are you alright?" Raph said with weakness when he saw him full of tears.

He just nodded. Still couldn´t talk, still shacking.

"What happened?" Donnie asked Leo with a worried look, noting that he had a burn mark on his plastron.

Leo sighted.

"I´ll tell you later... How are you feeling Raph?"

Raph just stared at him. Before he could say something, Sophie arrived.

"Sorry for making you wait! Follow me…"

The bodyguards pushed the four of them to start walking. They walked for some seconds when something happened. Raph fell to the floor. He fainted.
