They were surrounded. About twenty chunin level ninja were grinning in a way that they must of thought was intimidating. It might worked if Nozomi-san hadn't completely obliterated Sakura's ability to feel fear. Although the pinkette doubted that anyone could truly find the group of thugs frightening. In fact, now that she had a chance to observe them closely they didn't look like much at all. Her emerald orbs drifted to look at one of the men's headband where the symbol of Kumogakure was branded. Her eyes then picked up on the line that ran through the Kumogakure village's symbol.

'Missing nin then.' She thought as she took in the other members of the gang's headbands. 'Ah, and it appears that they're all from different villages.' The girl sighed, how on earth had they ended up in this predicament?

After their lunch break they had travelled until the sun had disappeared and the moon was high in the sky. They had settled down, the Uchiha taking the first watch followed by Nozomi-san followed by herself. The night had passed peacefully and so had the morning of the following day. It wasn't until the trio had stopped in a village to pick up some extra supplies that they had run into trouble.

They had decided to take a shortcut through an alleyway, which now that Sakura was thinking about it was a terrible idea. The gang of missing nin had ambushed them in the alley, Sakura had to commend them for the surprise attack. The two idiots who were her teammates for this mission were arguing over whether or not potatoes or carrots were better. She had picked up on the the several chakra signatures too late to prevent the gang from surrounding them and so gaining the upper hand.

"OI!" A large man who Sakura presumed was the leader of the group broke her trail of thought. Judging by his headband he was originally from Iwagakure. "Ya better hand over all ya valuables otherwise we'll 'ave to resort to.. killing ya." He said as he leaked some rather pathetic KI if Sakura was honest. Her brows furrowed as she easily ignored the killing intent, if this guy was the leader then this group really was pathetic. Usually leaders had something to offer, whether that was intelligence or strength and power. This guy however.. he didn't really seem like much. He had shaggy brown hair that was cropped near his head, his eyes were a pale blue and his skin was oily and tanned. Sakura assumed that he was probably the most powerful in the group but it was obvious that he didn't have much smarts.

Judging by the way he gripped the sword in his hands he was skilled in kenjutsu. His chakra reserves were mediocre at best and Sakura assumed he relied more on strength then speed

The four year old watched as the Uchiha stepped forward but before he could open his mouth to speak Nozomi-san pulled him behind her.

"I don't think so pretty boy!" She grinned. "I'll be handling this guy. You two can take out the rest!"

It appeared that the leader of the group was getting bored for he pounced on Nozomi-san, sword raised in the air. With that all the other members of the gang charged at her and Shisui.

A man came at her from her right and Sakura had to do a somersault to avoid his katana. Before the girl had a chance to land an attack on the man another man came up from behind her attempting to stab her in the back with a kunai. The four year old disappeared in a puff of smoke and appeared above the man who had tried to stab her.

Running through hand signs the girl made sure she was lined up properly with her target. She performed the last sign and called out the name of the jutsu.

"Wind release: Air bullets!" Multiple bullets of air were shot at the two men who had attacked her. One managed to use an earth wall to block her jutsu but the other man wasn't as lucky. He had attempted to jump out of the way but her jutsu was too fast for him. He was blown back, his back hit the wall of a building, Sakura could tell that he was unconscious. She was lucky that the alley was wide enough that they could perform jutsus.

The four year old sensed somebody sneaking up behind her and just when they were about to pounce she shunshined behind them, hitting the pressure point on the back of their neck.

'That's two down.'

A bead of sweat rolled down her face as five men came at her at the same time. The girl sent chakra into her legs as she sprung herself into the air. The men realised what had happened too late as they crashed into each other.

'Make that seven.' She thought to herself.

She spared a look to where Shisui was taking on ten of the men. He looked as if he was dancing around the men, spinning and jumping around them. She looked on in awe as his hand form seals. His hands were moving so fast that they looked like a blur.

"Fire release: Great fireball jutsu!"He called out before a large fireball made it's way out of his mouth, The fire looked tamed but wild and dangerous at the same time. The men that were hit by the fireball screamed out in agony. The pinkette's nose wrinkled as she inhaled the scent of burnt flesh.

'So that's.. the famous technique of the Uchiha clan..' She thought in awe. She knew that the clan's techniques were strong but this surpassed her expectations. The four year old hadn't been taught any fire style jutsu yet, she only knew a couple of wind jutsus along with a few water jutsus and Nozomi-san had taught her an earth jutsu but the strength of the preteens fire jutsu fueled Sakura's need to learn. She had to ask for somebody to teach her.
