Normal POV

After Tracy has calmed down, Knockout tells Breakdown to let Ricky go, he is about to jump over to Tracy, but Knockout stops him by snatching him out of the air.

"Hey, put me down," Ricky shouts.

"Relax, Ricky. I will. I didn't want you to get hurt. I don't know how to treat human injuries," Knockout says.

The Decepticon medic sets Ricky down next to Tracy. He tells Breakdown that they need to leave to give Megatron an update on their progress. After the Decepticons leave the medical bay, Ricky slowly walks up to Tracy.

"Ricky, I know that we are brother and sister, from the note that was in the box with my necklace," Tracy says.

"So, you have a nickname you like to be called instead of Patricia, right?" Ricky asks.

"Yes, it's Tracy, but how did you know that?" Tracy asks.

"Just a hunch, sis," Ricky says.

"Ricky, I'm sorry that our mom is gone, I know we just found out about each other and all, but I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to start forming our sibling bond after what just happened," Tracy says.

"Tracy, that accident wasn't your fault. There was nothing you could have done to prevent it," Ricky says as he hugs his newfound sister.

"I know, Ricky, but that doesn't stop the flashbacks or nightmares," Tracy says.

"Do you have any idea what traits we even inherited from dad?" Ricky asks.

"I was hoping you would know since I haven't figured that out either," Tracy joked.

"well, I know one thing we have in common, other than being twins," Ricky says.

"what's that?" Tracy asks.

"We both got mom's great sense of humor," Ricky replies.

"Do stray or abandoned animals randomly seem to find you?" Tracy asks.

"Yup, happened several times growing up," Ricky adds.

"That's good to know," Tracy says.

"We need to get out of here," Ricky says.

"We are on a spaceship. Do you have a plan, Ricky?" Tracy asks.

Wheeljack's POV

I was doing my daily scan to see if I could help Bulk and others locate some energon. I was amazed when the Jackhammer's scanner picked up a strange and powerful energy signal. I decided to call team Prime to tell them about what I found.

"What's wrong, Jackie?" Bulkhead asks.

"The Jackhammer's scanner picked up a strange energy signature," I reply.

"Where is the signal coming from?" Ratchet asks.

"The Nemesis," I reply.

"Come and pick me up, Jackie," Bulkhead says.

"Why Bulk?" I ask.

"We are going to rescue some humans that the cons kidnapped," Bulk says.

"Bulkhead, those humans happen to be my human partner's children, and if they are harmed," Ratchet says.

"I get it, Doc, those kids are special," I say.

"Don't call me Doc," Ratchet snaps.

Normal POV

Starscream finds the twins in the medical bay; he moves them to a different room. The second in command tells some of the seekers to chain them to the ceiling. Tracy tries her best not to have her third panic attack of the day when she looks down. Her heart starts to race, noticing how far the drop is to the floor. After she looks up, her energem is revealed as it dangles off the rope necklace around her neck.

"Well, it looks like we have to thank the human for returning the crystal to us," Starscream says as he reaches over and yanks it off Tracy's necklace.

Darn it. Tracy thinks. I have to get my energem back before Starscream figures out how to harness its power.

Starscream nods to the seekers, and they point two energon prods at the twins.

"So, human, how did you get this crystal?" Starscream asks.

"I found it on a hike," Tracy lies.

"After we captured a different human, we discovered that human nervous systems don't respond well to energon," Starscream says before the twins scream out in pain as they feel the energon course through their bodies.

Wheeljack's POV

Bulkhead and I make our way down several hallways before taking cover in the room near us.

"Jackie, these bucket heads haven't told us anything to help us find them," Bulk says.

"I know, but do you have any other ideas to locate them on the ship?" I say.

We hear screams of pain. A few seconds later, we overhear some troopers when they walk past the door.

"I can't believe that the patch worked on the human," one says.

"Yes, but all it showed was that the girl watched someone she cared about getting killed in front of her," another said.

"I almost feel sorry for the human," the first one said.

"Hey, do you know where the humans are?" Knockout asks.

"Yes, they aren't in the medical bay," Breakdown adds.

"Starscream moved them to the brig," the second trooper says.

Bulkhead and I have heard enough, so we burst out of the room. Bulkhead and I shoot the troopers to dust. Then we pointed out blasters at Knockout and Breakdown.

"Breakdown, you better let us through," Bulk demands.

"We don't want any trouble," Knockout says as he motions to Breakdown to move so we can get through.

Tracy's POV

I scream in pain again when Starscream runs his finger across my right arm. Everything starts to turn in blurry blobs as I try not to faint when I see the blood flow out the cut on my arm. Then I hear running footsteps and barely make out Bulkhead, and another bot burst into the room.

"We are taking the humans with us," Bulkhead says.

The other bot walks up to us and pulls out a katana, and uses it to cut our chains. I groan when it catches us in its hand.

"Thank you for saving us," I say.

"You're welcome, kid, but are you two okay?" the robot says.

"Yes, I'm fine," Ricky replies.

"Speak for yourself, Ricky. I am bleeding here. You might want to stop it before you have to explain to our dad how his daughter died," I snap.

Ricky tore off a piece of his shirt to use a bandage and tie it around the cut.

"Ricky, don't tie it too tight. I still need to use my arm and feel my fingers," I snap.

"Sorry, sis," Ricky apologizes.

Wheeljack's POV

Bulkhead and I run out of the room and find another place to hide. I set the kids down on the floor against the wall.

"Jackie, we need to get out of here," Bulkhead says.

'Bulkhead, we can't leave without that crystal," the girl says as she slowly stands up, using the wall as a crutch.

"Sis, you can hardly stand, and you need to get your arm looked at," the boy says.

"Ricky, I know, if Starscream wanted that crystal so bad. It must have some power source inside it," the girl says.

"Patricia, your uncle, will be upset that you're doing this, you know that, right?" Bulkhead asks.

"Yes, Bulkhead, I know. Hypothetically speaking, if that crystal did have power in it and it bonded to me, it becomes my job to protect it and keep it away from the enemy," Tracy says.

From the look in Patricia's eyes, I can tell that we won't convince her to go back to the ship. I place my hand on Bulk's shoulder.

"Bulk, take the boy back to the ship. I'll look after Patricia while we go after the crystal," I say.

"Okay, Jackie," Bulk says.
