Ivan's POV

"Are you okay?" I ask, noticing that Tracy appears to be lost in thought.

"Yes, I'm fine," Tracy replies.

I move back, and Tracy hops down off the bed. She winces in pain when her right foot lands on the floor. I step forward and catch her again due to losing her balance. She lands on my chest, and her cheeks turn red when she looks up at me.

"Thanks for the save, and you know that you don't have to be the only one who has to catch me right," Tracy says.

"You're welcome, and I know that I was the closest one," I reply, as I help her back to her feet.

Ricky hands Tracy the crutches back, and she starts to head to the door.

"Everyone, good luck with finding the other energems, but I won't feel better once I get my energem back. I'll do it without putting any of you in harm's way," Tracy says.

"My Lady, wait, we are a team. It's our job to look out for one other," I say as I stop her by gently grabbing her wrist.

"Ivan, I'm aware of that, but this is something I need to do myself. Ricky, let's go. I'll give you a ride home." Tracy snaps, as she quickly pulls her hand away.

My heart couldn't help but skip a beat as our fingers brushed against one other. I can't decide whether I should admire Tracy's determination to retrieve her energem back from the alien thieves, or if there is another reason she was acting like this.

"Sis, the elevator at the apartment complex is out of order, and going up a flight of stairs is tough with crutches," Ricky says.

"I have other arrangements. Can we leave, please?" Tracy growls.

Ricky sighs and follows behind his sister as they leave the base.

"Wow, and don't you think Tracy is already acting reckless?" Riley asks.

"Sir, Riley, I'm sure Tracy was simply acting out from being tired from all that had transpired today," I reply.

"She could be just afraid of admitting she has developed feelings for a certain knight of Zandar," Chase smirks.

"Chase, I think you might be jumping the gun a smidge," Bobby says.

"Yes, she did just break up with her boyfriend today," Ashley adds.

"Yes, and the love at first sight cliché is so overrated," Riley adds.

"Whatever you may think, sir, Chase, I need to go after her," I say.

Tracy's POV

Ricky and I walk up to Wheeljack, and his holoform is standing next to the car.

"So, sis, why didn't you want Ivan to help us?" Ricky says.

"I feel bad that I have to lie to them about what is going on in Jasper. They have their mission to complete," I say.

"Right, tracking down the other energems is important. I'm sure that your new boyfriend Ivan would want to help us," Ricky smirks.

Ricky hops around in pain after I press the rubber end of the crutch down on his foot in response to his last remark.

"Wow, do all humans bounce back from heartbreak as fast as you?" Wheeljack asks.

"No, Jason, I'm just tired, that all," I say as I spot Ivan walking up in the reflection on the windshield.

"Jason," Wheeljack asks.

"Sorry, I panicked," I reply.

"It's fine, partner. I like it," Wheeljack says.

I hear the roar of jet engines, and my heart drops into my stomach when the Decpticon seekers come in view. Wheeljack, "Jason," quickly grabs hold of Ivan's wrist and sets him down on the passenger seat. I try to keep my composure when I see I'm sitting on Ivan's lap as we are quickly buckled in. Ricky dives into the driver's seat, buckles up, and tosses my crutches in front of mine and Ivan's seat. Wheeljack slams the door shut, quickly turns on the engine and speeds off.

"My Lady, what is going on?" Ivan asks.

I wanted to answer Ivan's question, but between the rush of adrenaline flowing through my system and the awkwardness of our current position, my brain and mouth refuse to work.

"Sorry, Ivan, those planes belong to the same aliens that kidnapped Tracy and me. You might need to brace yourself for what you're about to see next," Ricky says.

Wheeljack's POV

I feel kind of bad for putting Tracy in her current situation with her Ivan. I know that Optimus would get upset if any of them got injured by these bougies casing us. I find a hiding spot and park behind it.

"Everybody get out now," I say.

"Ricky, did the car just talk?" Ivan asks.

"Yes, but there isn't any time to explain," Ricky says.

I hear my partner let out a sigh of relief as Ivan undo their seatbelt. After everyone is out, I transform and turn my right hand into a blaster.

"You three stay here. I'll be back," I say.

Tracy's POV

I feel a wave of guilt flow through me. This is what I was trying to avoid by leaving the museum and tracking down Megatron with Wheeljack's help. Then he and I would storm the ship by ourselves. I tried to remain standing by my right knee was not having it. When Ivan notices I'm about to faint for the third or fourth time today, I've lost count, he catches me and helps me sit down. I turn to face him, and he sets his hand on my shoulder when he no doubt sees the look of guilt that is platered all over my face. I quickly look down at my lap since I didn't dare to look him in the eye.

"Ivan, I'm sorry that you got caught up in this and for keeping Wheeljack a secret from you and the others. Honestly, I felt terrible having to keep this from the others but," I apologize through a deep breath.

"It's alright, my Lady. I know you were trying to keep me and the others safe," Ivan says as he puts his index finger under my chin." You don't need to fret, my Lady. I will help you keep this secret," Ivan continues as he lifts my head so our eyes meet. "Judging from the response of that human, is Jason friends with that robot?"

"Not exactly, Ivan. Jason is just the name of the robot's holoform to keep itself hidden from the other humans. The robot's name is Wheeljack," I reply through another deep breath trying to prevent myself from throwing up.

"Sis, you might have to explain everything to him when Ivan gets to meet Wheeljack's teammates. Right now, we have bigger problems," Ricky says.

"What is it?" I ask.

I turn around to see a giant tentacle reaching around the boulder. I try to stand up to get away when it is about to grab me. My right knee doesn't let me, and I scream like one of those girls in my least favorite movie type - horror when it grabs my ankle. Ivan reaches out to grab my hand to save me, but this thing yanks so fast that his effort is in vain. Our fingers barely touch as I'm dragged away.

Wheeljack's POV

Starscream called in more troopers, and as I was fighting them off, Soundwave's arm extends his right arm over to where Tracy and the others are.

"Scrap," I exclaim when I hear Tracy scream.

"Look, I know I'm the hostage here, but if you cons want to see what happens if a human's digestive system work in reverse, I'd suggest that you don't keep hanging upside for too much longer." Tracy says as she manages to reach her right hand up to cover her mouth and probably swallow something meant to be in her stomach, "Not to mention, I'm starting to get dizzy from all the blood rushing to my head," Tracy moans.

Then as she is tossed into the air and Starscream is about to grab her, two small but powerful laser blasts hit his hand. I look over my shoulder to see a human dressed in a gold suit with wings attached to the back. I see the human fly over and catch Tracy in his arms. He circles behind Starscream and sets her down behind me.

"Ivan, what were you thinking? I've told you I'm not a damsel in distress," Tracy whispers/snaps.

"Sorry, my Lady, but I had to rescue you from these evil metallic adversaries," Ivan whispers back.

"You got lucky again wrecker. Next time you won't have any assistance from any colorfully costumed vigilante humans," Starscream says.

"What about backup from us?" Bulk says as he and Bumblebee sprint up, taking out several troopers on the way.

"Soundwave, we'll have to try again another time to capture Wheeljack's pet," Starscream says as he calls for a ground bridge.

Tracy moves around, stands up as straight as she can, "Hey, Starscream, just for the record, I'm not Wheeljack's pet. He doesn't own me. We are partner. I'm not afraid of either of you," Tracy snaps.

Tracy pulls out her blaster and nearly misses hitting both Screamer and Soundwave right in the middle of their chest. But, her blast is so strong it knocks both backward into the ground bridge behind them.

"I'm glad that Tracy is on our side," Bumblebee says.

"Yeah, do you think we should consider her and Ivan to be an honorary Wrecker, Bulk?" I ask.

"Wait, who is Ivan?" Bulk asks.

Ivan walks out from behind me. Tracy nods to him, telling him that he can trust us. Then his gold suit disappears.

"It's nice to meet you, Ivan," Bulkhead says.

"The same to you, my green metallic comrade," Ivan says as he is taken aback, shaking Bulk's hand.

Then Bumblebee turns on his holoform and introduces himself to Ivan.

"Boys, I think we should.." Tracy says before collapsing.

"Maybe we should head to the base," Bulk says.

"I'm fine, boys, just got dizzy, and I'm a bit worn out from today, that's all," Tracy says as Ivan helps her stand by letting her lean on him.

"I think that should wait till tomorrow. We've all been through enough for one day," Ricky says.

"Yes, Wheeljack, you can head back to the base with Bulk. Bee can give us a ride to June's house if you want to, that is?" Tracy says.

"Sure, I don't mind," Bumblebee says.

June's POV

Jack is about to miss his curfew when he, Tracy, Ricky and another young man walk inside.

"Hello, everyone, Tracy. Who is this handsome fellow?' I ask.

"This is Tracy's future boyfriend...Ow, Ivan," Ricky says as Tracy hits his foot with the end of her crutch.

"Tracy, you should be nicer to your brother," Ivan says.

"Relax, Ivan, I am being nice to him. I could have elbowed him in the gut instead," Tracy says.

"I would have preferred that opinion instead," Ricky says.

"Sorry, June, Ivan is one of my new co-workers. He insisted on helping me out while my knee heals," Tracy says.

"That was nice of you, Ivan," I say.

"I should thank you, madam, for allowing Tracy to rest for the night here in your lovely home," Ivan says.

"You are welcome to stay as well," I offer.

"Thank you," Ivan says.
