Wheeljack's POV

I land the Jackhammer down in the forest several clicks away from the Nemesis. Bulkhead puts Bobby down on the floor then we walk out.

"So, why did land so far away?" Bobby asks.

"I've set the autopilot to get us back to Prime's base, and I can't risk getting shot down if we just flew right up," I reply.

"When we get there, I'll go find Tracy's energem," Bobby says.

"Slow down, Bobby. I'll go with you. Jackie can find Ivan and Tracy," Bulkhead says.

I take out a portable scanner, and when I turn it on, I see two more signals appear on the screen. The first is an energon pulse, and the other is similar to Tracy's energem signal, but it's coming from the opposite direction.

"We might have to take a quick detour," I say.

"Why? We can't leave Ivan and Tracy with the cons," Bobby says.

"I know, but the scanner picked up a strong energon pulse. It could be mine,"

"If it is, we need to find it before the cons do; Team Prime reserves are starting to run low," Bulk says.

"I think there might be another energem around here, too," I say.

"Really," Bobby gasps.

"Yes, the tracker picked up a different signal," I say.

"We need to check it out. If Fury or Megatron gets his hand on that, Earth will be in more trouble than it already is since they have Tracy's. Let's hope they haven't gotten ahold of Ivan's, too," Bobby says.

Ivan's POV

I'm glad that before I gave Tracy my coat, I put my energem in my pocket to prevent Knockout or Breakdown from seeing it to endure it wouldn't fall into their hands. After they leave the room, I take my hand away as Tracy stands up and steps back to have space between us. Tracy's eyes widen in shock when she realizes she backed up too far. I take hold of her wrist and pull her back toward me to stop her from falling to the floor.

"Your knightly chest is strong...I mean nice reflexes, and thanks for the save," Tracy says.

"You're welcome, and thanks for the compliment," I say and see she is blushing again.

After I help her to her feet, my heart beats a little faster when she places her hand on my chest.

"Wow, I never thought I was beautiful enough to make a boy's heart race let alone a Knight. I was positive that I'm nowhere near as pretty as the princesses or damsels in distress you've rescued," Tracy says.

"Tracy," I take hold of her hand and gently squeeze it, "You need to stop comparing yourself to other girls, especially ones from another time," I swallow the lump that suddenly gets caught in my throat, "you are the one my heart has been calling out for since I first saw you. I'd gladly ride my horse into battle to protect you if the need arises. I'll be there if you want me to catch you when you fall." I lean in and kiss her on the cheek.

When I back away, I notice Tracy's eyes sparkle like stars in the night sky when a smile appears on her face. Tracy takes a deep breath and lets it out.

"Ivan, that was beautiful. Now, I guess it is my turn to tell you something I should have said before. I know an alien spaceship wasn't the place I planned to do this, considering it's not the most romantic place in the universe," Tracy says, blushing. "I've tried to tell myself that love at first sight is so cliché and was meant for fairytales and romance novels. But, the more I tried to ignore the feeling I developed for you and the spark between us ever since that day, it became the only thought on my mind. I didn't complain since it made me happy and brought a smile to my face."

"I'm glad I can make you smile, my lady," I say.

"Ivan, you didn't let me finish," Tracy says.

"My apologies, please continue," I say.

"Since I'm terrible at hiding it from you and the rest of the world, do you think we could become more than just teammates and friends?" Tracy asks.

"I'd love to, but if you aren't ready to date right now, I don't care how long I have to wait till your heart is ready to let me in," I say, but Tracy stops me by kissing me back on the lips.

"Sorry, Ivan, I don't know why I did that, but you are my first kiss," Tracy says.

"I'm honored, Heart's Gleam, but we don't need to rush into things. I'm fine with going down this new path of life together at whatever pace you are comfortable with," I say as I smile like a fool.

"Wow, a cute pet name already; I'm not good at it, so, Knight in Shining Armor, how about we start with holding hands, hanging out to get to know each other better, and limit the use of pets names while we are around the others?" Tracy says.

"Sounds good," I say as I let go of her hand.

Normal POV

"Uh, I think I might throw up my energon processor," Breakdown says.

"Come on, Breakdown, you were half as sappy as Ivan when you admitted your feelings to me," Knockout smirks.

"Whatever, we should head inside. We don't want the love birds' food to get cold," Breakdown says.
