Normal POV

Tracy is in the guest room getting ready for the dance, and she sits down at the desk. After trying to braid her hair three times, she lets out a frustrated groan while brushing the braids.

"Miss, would you like some help?" Sammy, a worker at the palace, says, knocking on the door.

"Thank you. I think my anxiety is starting to get to me," Tracy replies.

Sammy walks in, and Tracy smiles, seeing her reflection in the mirror after seeing how great her hair looks when Sammy is finished.

"Wow, did you look in my brain? It looks amazing, thank you again," Tracy says.

"You're welcome," Sammy says.

"Too bad I'm allergic to makeup. I know this look would work much better if I had a little blush on my cheeks." Tracy sighs.

"You know. I have the same problem. I found a brand that works for me. It might work for you, too," Sammy says.

"I appreciate the thought, but I've tried too many brands that claim to be Hypoallergenic, and I had a reaction to them, so I'd rather not take a chance," Tracy says.

Prince Philip's POV

"Ivan, you need to relax. You look great," I say, watching him redo his tie for the fifth time.

"I know, your highness. I just want to make sure that Heart's Gleam, Tracy, has a great time," Ivan says.

"Thanks, Sir-Loves-a lot, but we only need one of us to be a nervous wreck, and since my anxiety makes me do that a lot, I've got that part covered," Tracy says.

We turn to our left to see tracy standing in the doorway wearing the dress her aunt made. It fit her perfectly. Her hair was in a braided bun, and stray curls on either side of her face. I pick up the corsage box off my desk. I hand it to Ivan, and after mustering up the courage, he walks over to her.

"Here. Heart's Gleam, your aunt, said this would help make your look complete," Ivan says, taking the corsage out and gently sliding it onto her wrist.

"Thank you, Ivan, but I thought this tonight was a Royal Ball, not a chance for me to experience my senior prom," Tracy says, looking down at the flower on her wrist.

"Heart's Gleam, you deserve to have a night to feel like a princess," Ivan says as he gently kisses the back of her hand.

"Well, Sir-Loves- A lot, if you want this night to be like prom, you need a boutonniere," Tracy says as she slides her hand off Ivan's and gives him a quick peck on the cheek.

I walk over and hand the boutonniere to her. She pins it onto Ivan's jacket.

"Come with me; the dance is starting. I'll guide you to the ballroom," I say.

Normal POV

The group heads down the hallway to the ballroom. After they entered and took a few minutes to take in the beautiful decorations, Tracy's priority was to find somewhere she could go when she got too overwhelmed by everything that was going on. She smiles when she sees a sign pointing towards an exit leading to the flower garden.

"Found your escape spot already," Prince Philip says.

"Yes, Your Highness, Tracy says.

Tracy sees her Aunt and Uncle walking in from the corner of her eye and turns around to face them. May is wearing a white dress with a black flower pattern on the bust area and a few flowers on the skirt. Marco is wearing a tux, but the bottom button on the jacket refuses to stay fastened. Tracy covers her mouth to stop herself from laughing.

"Hi, sweetheart, You and Ivan look great," May says as they walk up.

"Thank you, and may I add, you look like a queen, Lady Rameriz," Ivan says.

"Thank you for the compliment, Ivan," May says.

"Tracy, I'm glad you get a chance to go to your prom, so to speak," Marco says.

"Marco, this is supposed to be a fun night. You don't have to remind our niece about the first time she was stood up," May snaps as she nudges her husband in the gut, "Tracy, sweetheart, try to have fun tonight," May says, dragging Marco away.

Ivan winces in pain as Tracy suddenly tightens her grasp on his arm, seeing Jax Ryder walk in with a young girl wearing a one-shoulder pink dress with a Flower Trimmed Strap Beadwork Waist Puffy skirt.

Why did he have to show up? I know he will find some way to make this night one of the worst of my life. Tracy thinks.

"Ivan, are you alright," Prince Philip asks as he pulls Ivan's arm out of Tracy's death grip before the Knight of Zandar's face turns white.

"Yes, I'm fine, thank you, your highness," Ivan says.

Ivan turns to face Tracy. She is distracted by her thoughts, and fear rises in her body, realizing that Jax has spotted her. He and his date walk up to them.

"Wow, if it isn't Primo Lamo Balleneria, I can't believe you even came to this," Jax says.

Tracy saw Dakota Quinn and Bradley Carter enter with their dates a few seconds later.

"Don't call Heart's Gleam that. She is a courageous woman," Ivan says.

"Mouscia, you must be confusing her with someone else." Dakota snickers before bursting out in a fit of hysterical laughter.

"Buddy, I'd suggest finding a different girl. Losmeriz isn't girlfriend material," Bradley adds through a laugh.

"Yes, she is lazy, too, since she didn't bother to put on any makeup," Jax's date says.

"Yes, she needs it. The girl is ugly," Dakota's date adds.

"Plus, she needs fashion advice. Her dress is a disaster," Bradly's date retorts.

"If you six plan to treat Tracy this way the entire night, I'm going to ask you to leave now," Prince Philip says, seeing tears build up in Tracy's eyes.

"Don't worry, your highness, we'll leave Losmeriz alone," Jax says, crossing his fingers behind his back.

"You have our word," Dakota adds, following Jax's lead.

"Us too," the others say, coping Jax.

"Ratcia, our deal is over since Graduation was a month ago, so I'd watch your back," Jax whispers in Tracy's ear before gesturing to his entourage or, as Tracy calls them, Jerktourage, to follow him.

Knockout's and Breakdown's holoforms stand near the buffet table on the other side of the room.

"I trust those six about as far as I can throw a lob ball," Breakdown says.

"I feel the same way, partner. It appears being in this setting already makes her nervous. Now that those bullies are here, Tracy has to be more on edge than she already is," Knockout adds.

"What do you think we should do?" Breakdown asks.

"Keep an eye on the group," Knockout says.

"Knockout, that's not what we were ordered to do. We need to get Tracy and Ivan's energems back and steal the Prince's," Breakdown says.

"I haven't forgotten our mission Breakdown, but if she is trying to have a good time and relieve some mental stress with this outing, we should help her," Knockout replies.
