Nothing says 'I love Terraria so much' other than spending the entire two weeks of semester break just playing the game. Honestly, if that anonymous mod developer hadn't found me, I didn't know what I'd do at this point. Do homework? That's hilarious…

That being said, I vaguely remember my professor telling me that I need to write a 5 page essay about something… can't remember what it was. I suppose I'll go check up on it when I want. For now, it is the semester break and I do not want to waste time worrying about homework. Unlocking the door to my apartment, I entered and changed into my singlet and underwear. Sitting on my gaming chair, I booted up my system and quickly opened up Discord. Seeing my friends already in one of the call channels that we usually talk to, I joined in and shouted.

"LET'S GO PLAY SOME LEAGUE!"

"Dude, for the love of everything that is holy and unholy, either learn how to top lane or get the fuck out and give me the top lane." I said as I managed the bottom lane of the map with a decent support.

"Yeah! Also, can you stop being a fucking pussy? Just because Camille hit you with that one E doesn't mean you back off. For fuck sakes, I was going to gank her but since you backed off I can't. Doesn't help that you fed her so much BECAUSE you're such a pussy." Friend no. 1 said, who also happens to be our jungler. Which will now be nicknamed 'Jungler'.

"Bro shut the fuck up. I ask for ganks but you don't come, what do you mean 'I was going to gank her'?" Friend no. 2 fired back, which happens to be the berated top laner. And thus, will be named, Top.

"Are you- are you fucking dumb!? I literally have no mana, I'm low as well since you didn't help me leash blue buff and now you're complaining that I don't fucking gank!? Legit, mid lane has more problems since our Cassiopeia is dealing with a Taric and Veigar!" Jungler retorted.

"Three, zero, zero. That's Camille's KDA right now. AND IT'S NOT EVEN 5 MINUTES INTO THE GAME!" I said.

"Dude, literally, uninstall and go play fucking Purble Place or something." Jungler said.

After a few, frustrating, games of League of Legends, I decided to leave the call and open Terraria. Going through the menu screen as usual, I loaded up the game once more.

I spawn in the game staring at an open gilded hall, big pillars stretched across and on the ceiling, metal poles stuck that hung banners as a display of bravado. In front of me were double doors opened widely for anyone to enter the large hall.

A little confused as to where I am, I look around and I noticed that I am sitting on, what seems to be, a very expensive looking throne. Huh… I guess I'm in my throne room. Since I'm already sitting here, I might as well think of what I would do today.

Let's see… since Amber already defeated the Eater of Worlds, I suppose the next logical step would be to set up the arena for the Brain of Cthulhu. That being said, I am reminded of how the Eater of Worlds nearly killed Amber and that made me worry a little. Despite having strong equipment that could only be obtained in Hard Mode, Amber still struggled with the boss. Either the bosses' difficulties have been ramped up, to the point that someone with Hard Mode gear struggled to defeat these bosses, or, Amber doesn't know how to use her powers.

I mean it is one of these options, logically speaking. Either the bosses are really just harder to fight or Amber sucks right now.

These questions can be answered by addressing the person in particular. Standing up from my throne, I tried to remember where I left Amber the last time I played this game. Flying out of the throne room, I spotted Amber standing in front of the entrance of my castle. Before I talk to her, I decided to survey the entire kingdom that I spawned using the Bottled Kingdom item. Again, it is nothing short of breath-taking, especially when you get a view of it from the sky. Like a kingdom, it has streets upon streets of houses, defensive towers which housed powerful magic also dotted the city, ensuring the security of the kingdom. Honestly, if something massive, like a nuke were to blow up and end the whole world, this place might be the safest to be in.

The main attraction of this city however is its central castle, which also happens to be the place where I'm living. Amongst spires of buildings that are scattered across the kingdom, my castle stood the tallest out of them all. At the top of my castle a bright blue beam is shot outwards and spread out into a dome, completely covering the entire city.

Alright, that's enough sight-seeing. I flew back down and landed behind Amber with a soft thump. She heard me and turned around to face me with a smile on her face and a slight pink on her cheeks.

"Hello… dear." She said hesitantly.

I gave Amber a curt nod before bringing her in for a tight hug, she gave a cute squeal before relenting and reciprocating the hug.

"Eugh… get a fucking room you two." I gagged and then chuckled at the end.

Dialogue choices appeared before me.

A. "Are you still not used to this?"

B. "How are you feeling?"

C. "We may be together but that doesn't mean you're going to weigh me down."

D. *chuckle* "Look at me! I am hugging a portable sun!"

Option B

"How are you feeling?" I asked her.

She looked at me for a few seconds, presumably trying to formulate an answer. Once she got the right words, she said it. " I'm still a little bit overwhelmed… never in my whole life would I ever imagine dating a god. Don't get me wrong! I am happy- no, ecstatic that you and I are together!" Her head falters a little bit. "I just hope that I won't be the one disappointing you in this relationship."

I brought up my hand and cupped her right cheek. "Dearest Amber…"

"Shut the fuck up." I rolled my eyes. "DeArEsT aMbEr"

"… a god I may be but that doesn't mean anything in the face of love. Does status truly matter when loving someone?" I asked her with a sincere tone in my voice.

She melted into my hand and snuggled for a little before answering with a smile. "No."

I then lowered my head so that both of our foreheads are touching… despite me not really having a face; just a hood shrouding my face and glowing purple eyes. Regardless, the meaning was there, and she reciprocated the gesture. We both nuzzled our foreheads for a moment before I said one last thing.

"Then you need not to worry about being a disappointment to me. Nothing about you is disappointing at all… I love you for who are."

That did it and the next thing I see is a beet red Amber.

A ping caught my attention and I noticed that I'm under two kind of buffs that I've never heard of in the vanilla game.

Effect:

[Lover's Embrace]

After spending some time with your lover, you are now [Motivated] for a short amount of time.

No time limit to status: [Motivated] if you are near your lover.

[Motivated]

You are more determined to do whatever it is you want to do.

All stats are tripled

Now, I'm not really that well versed with the stats in Terraria. All these years, I just assumed stats are things like RNG. Imagine my surprise when I noticed the base damage of my Last Prism was tripled to four digit damage!

"Holy shit, I should flirt with Amber more!" I say to myself.

With our flirting done, I opened up my menu and went to the companions' section of the menu. Selecting Amber, all of her information was revealed to me and what items she has in her inventory. For the most part, she still has most of the items and accessories that I gave her plus the Super Mana Potion that I gave her.

I suppose I'll let her keep that.

Looking further below her inventory, I noticed that there were three buttons to choose from. The first button is a chat bubble with triple dots inside of it, I assume that that's the chat option. Second button is an arrow pointing down with a ring going around the tip of the arrow. Hovering my mouse over to it, two words popped up.

Stay Order

I guess that button pretty much explains everything I needed to know. And the last button was a dummy getting hit with a sword. Again, I hovered my mouse over it and read the word that popped up.

Training

What does that mean? I selected that option and a screen appeared before me.

Do you want to train Amber Autumn?

[YES] [NO]

Still having no clue as to what it's asking from me, I clicked yes.

How long do you want to train Amber Autumn?

Time: 00:00:00:00

[TRAIN]

I inputted an hour on the time and pressed train. My screen turned black and when it came back, I was staring at a blue sky, clouds moving fast; perhaps from the training montage that's happening. Then the clouds stopped moving fast and I also noticed that the colour of the sky has also taken on an orange hue. My screen faded to black once more and brought me back to my character.

A screen popped up in front of me.

After 00:01:00:00 of training, here are Amber Autumn's results.

[Amateur] Meteor Staff - [Adept] Meteor Staff

[Amateur] Blade Staff - [Adept] Blade Staff

[Master] Angel Wings - [Master] Angel Wings

Oh, now I understand everything!

No wonder why she nearly died against the Eater of Worlds; she didn't know how to use her powers! That's makes sense, after all, she did just get them, and I did order her to duke it out with the Eater of Worlds without any ounce training.

It also makes sense when before both of us flew to Vacuo, a notification popped up and told me that she didn't know how to fly and so I trained her. Why did it take so long? Because I kept on training her until she became a master at flying, hence why we were too late to save Vacuo.

Wow, this mod goes to that levels of complicated…

Well, better make her a master then!

A/N: Well… this is awkward… I know, I know, I promised a new crossover story. I am currently working on it. In the meantime, it's about time this story got an update. It's certainly been a while since I've posted so please scrutinize my writing and the story. With the Eater of World's arc done, I kind of had a blank mind after that. I thought that that would be the end of it, but I know it isn't.

Think of this particular chapter as more of a filler since I do want to give some time for SirBoinkGeminid and Amber to get comfortable with their relationship. While I'm still thinking about what to do for the next arc. I have an idea though!

Here's a hint: Cinder Fall

Also, I'm thinking of changing the dynamic a little. Usually I alternate perspectives on every chapter, with the exception for boss battles. This time however, I'm thinking of writing more perspectives on the Remnant side. What are your thoughts about that?

With all of that said, I bid you all adieu!

Peace~
