Personally, I think that Terraria has a very special aesthetic when it comes to building. After all, the game takes place in a 2D plane. While some people find this limiting, the creative minds of others found a way to adapt on the 2D style, and this leads to some interesting builds that I could not achieve, unfortunately. That's saying something to you normies, I poured 500+ hours into this game and even then, that amount of experience cannot compare to the ones who bought this game during its early stages.

That being said, I am quite delighted to find out that this Remnant mod actually lets me build pre-set structures. I appreciate the impressive creations that the builder players do but I don't really see myself creating such amazing structures. However, just because I don't like building, doesn't mean I don't try to decorate my structures. With the Journey's End update, this mod also came with its own set of updates.

|Foundations | Floors | Walls | Roofs | Structures | Decorations |

This new update was quite a surprise for me. In the previous update navigation was difficult and cumbersome because all of the foundations, floors, walls, and such were just in one menu. With this, navigating around the building UI is a lot easier! I moved my mouse to the 'Structures' tab and selected it. A dropdown menu showed up showing what kinds of materials I could use to make structures out of.

| Structures |

Wood

Stone

Metal

Others

Even more sorting that makes my life a lot easier! Looking at my options, I thought what kind of material I should make the next shelter for these refugees. Obviously, I want the structure to be robust so that it could weather any kind of problems that this, slowly developing, settlement may encounter. However, I don't want it to be too expensive, even though I could easily cheat and use Terrasavr to get said expensive resources. Which brings me to the conclusion that I will use stone as my main material.

Fortunately, I don't need to look far for stone. I have an entire kingdom's worth of stone that I could easily recycle! Mining stone from a kingdom's worth will definitely take some time. Unfortunately, that's time that I don't have, I have other places to be! Which is why I will be using the most convenient mount in the game, the Drill Containment Unit!

Pressing the escape key on my keyboard, my inventory opened up and I quickly skimmed through all the slots looking for my Piggy Bank. I dragged the pink contained into one of my hotkeys, selected it and placed it on the ground. I noticed both Velvet and Sun looked at me with quizzical looks.

"A piggy bank?" Velvet asked, confusion laced in her voice.

A. "Indeed, it is a piggy bank."

B. "On the surface, it may look like a piggy bank."

C. Say nothing

D. "You are mistaken. This is a godly artifact sold only by the god of merchants!"

I chuckled at the last option and decided to pick it since I'm going for the whole 'I'm a god' gimmick.

I gave out a short chuckle before replying to Velvet. "You are mistaken. This is a godly artifact sold only by the god of merchants!"

"Uh… right." Sun said, completely doubting my words.

Moving on from their reaction, I opened the inventory of the Piggy Bank and, once again, skimmed through all of its slots to look for the Drill Containment Unit. Finding the mount, I right-clicked it, automatically equipping the mining mount and replacing my previous mouth, which was the Comic Car Key. As this was happening, I watched my character reach into the tiny slit of the Piggy Bank, a golden light illuminating from the slit, my hand comically shrinking to fit into the slit meant for spare change before pulling out again, letting me know that the swap was complete.

Once that was done, I took my Piggy Bank back in to my inventory and pressed the summon mount button, which was 'R'. A sudden flash of light covered my figure, the others also seemed to be blinded by the bright light before it died down with me sitting inside of the Drill Containment Unit.

Its design looked quite similar to its 2D version, but it had some changes here and there to fit the 3D plane. Its 2D version had a metal frame surrounding the whole mount which was used as a rail to maneuver the claw wherever the mouse pointer was directing it to mine.

Comparing that to its 3D version, this drill's version had metal rail removed and a glass dome was added to protect its passenger, something that the 2D version had not put in, I assume that because in the crafting of this mount it was never stated that I required glass. The lower half of the drill was made of metal that shimmers light blue, a few holes could be spotted where light bulbs were placed in to grant vision while mining in the dark. As for the claw, it wasn't attached to a rail but rather levitated around.

People looked at me with astonishment and surprise. Plenty of confusion to be had as they all watched me fly the Drill Containment Unit up, using an unknown source of propulsion, and into the city. As I flew across the broken kingdom, I aimed my crosshair on a general area of land filled with debris and left clicked.

A massive beam of light shot from the claw and crashing on the ground where I aimed my cursor. Once I started mining, I noticed another difference. In vanilla Terraria, when mining with the Drill Containment Unit, you still have to collect the mined resources. In this mod, the Drill Containment Unit both mines and collects the resources!

Neat!

I flew my mount forward, mining a long line of debris, rubble, and dirt before I stopped and checked my inventory on how much I collect- never mind, it turns out, this mount ALSO has its own storage! A PLAYER SIZED INVENTORY'S WORTH!

I like this version much better than the previous one!

Looking at the Drill Containment Unit's storage, I checked to see what I've collected.

Wood: 104/999

Stone: 312/999

Dirt: 57/999

Remembering the building requirements for a 'Large Apartment Complex', I continued mining until I maxed out the Drill Containment Unit's storage.

After a few hours of waiting, the survivors of Vacuo could not believe their eyes. Standing right in front of them are two new, large apartment complexes, forming a square perimeter with the large old apartment complex. In the middle of it was a simple but stylish fountain acting as their town's square. People watched as the purple cloaked man- no, god, landed near the fountain and walked to the east part of the town.

Most assumed that he was going to conjure up another building from nothing but to their surprise they received tall concrete walls that surrounded their small town and a thick metal gate. Multiple flights of stairs lead up to the top of the wall to give an overlook to whatever is behind the safety of their wall. Sitting on the top of the wall are sentry towers which are working autonomously, actively searching for any Grimm to shoot should those creatures start attacking their slowly growing community. Happy with his decisions, the god walked back to the centre of the town.

Velvet looked at the purple god with admiration and astonishment. She had initially believed that their situation was dire and that they wouldn't survive despite his help. However, because of his actions here the seeds of hope have been planted. Perhaps it was possible to survive despite losing the whole kingdom, Velvet thought. Her brows quirked up in curiosity when the purple god pulled out a black mirror with red veins around it.

Suddenly, the purple god disappeared in a flash of black and red.

"Where did he go!?"

"Perhaps he has helped us enough?"

"Maybe he returned back to his realm?"

Plenty of speculations here and there but no concrete proof. After waiting for a few minutes, the god returned on the same spot he left. The gathered crowed backed up and watched as he placed a chest which seemed to emanate shadow, then he pointed his palm at the chest and his hand began to glow a bright light. After a few seconds, the god lowered his hand and walked towards Velvet. Since his actions, Velvet wasn't that intimidated by him anymore. He reached inside of his purple cloak and pulled out a purple key.

"Take it." The god said.

Gingerly, Velvet took the key and held it as if she was holding the most expensive thing in the whole world. Confusion sat itself on Velvet's face and the god was all to happy to explain to her.

"Inside of that chest contains stacks upon stacks of food. They will not expire, they will keep their heat, and I can assure you that they are delicious. There is more than enough in that chest, enough to last for roughly two to three years depending on consumption."

Velvet and anybody near her balked at his words. They could've easily not believed him but after seeing him pull out an alien machine from a piggy bank, they shouldn't be surprised that he could do something like this.

With his job done, people watched as he stepped back a few feet. His purple mantle flared open, with a flap and a sudden gust of wind that made the closest to the purple god step back, the god had left the developing village.

Amongst the crowd, Velvet could hear a voice, with the help of her Faunus heritage, spoke out.

"And in our hour of darkness, He descends upon us! He has saved us again!"

Velvet perked an eyebrow at such a statement but decided to let it go for now. She approached the purple chest. Inserting the key that was given to her, she was perplexed by how this phenomenon works. She opened the chest and all she saw was darkness, she couldn't see the base of the chest. While showing hesitation, she reached inside of the chest. She felt something ceramic, She gently pulled it out and gasped at the food that she pulled out of the chest.

She had only been to a fancy restaurant once but the experience of tasting their food will last for a long time for her. To see food that is much grander than a fancy restaurant, it was nothing short of breath-taking.

To compare, during her first time is a fine dining restaurant, she had ordered a beef wellington. The taste and the flavor of the wellington was nothing short of heavenly. However, looking at the food that she held on her hand, she started to consider her words and maybe change what 'heavenly food' is to her. On her hand is a beef wellington, what differentiated this from her previous experience is that this beef wellington looked like it was made from gold!

Despite being enamored by the food, she noticed writing etched on the ceramic plate. She read the etched writing. "Golden Delight…"

She gently picked up a fork that came along with the food. Taking a piece, she took a bite.

Let it be said, the whole town of survivors slept with full stomachs that day.

To say that Amber had become quite popular with the people of Vale would've been an understatement. Being popular meant that she can walk down the street peacefully. People might recognize her, and a few might ask for autographs. A per the earlier statement, it was an understatement. People flooded the street just to catch a glimpse of her, some screaming out her name and others wanting to touch her, believing that her 'angelic essence' might rub off on them.

Initially, it was just a few people recognizing her, she didn't shy away and greeted them. Then the paparazzi arrived, they started taking pictures of her and started asking questions. Not long after, A large group of fans and, to her surprise, worshippers, rounded the street and made a beeline towards her position. Left with no other choice, she flared her wings and flew away.

Fortunately, it didn't take long for her to lose the crowd. Finding a tall building to perch on, she did just that. She observed the whole city with a grateful smile, happy to know that her efforts have managed to save the kingdom from destruction.

Unknown to Amber, Cinder Fall and her two lackeys observed her from a distance. A wicked smile spreads across the half-Maiden's smile.

"Mercury, Emerald, I do believe that it's time for an angel to fall from grace."

All three pairs of eyes watched as Amber dove from the building before flaring her wings and flew off into the distance, the roof of the many buildings of Vale losing their vision of her.

A/N: Wassuh dud I'm back! I certainly missed writing on this story, and it feels good to post a new chapter for it. College is pain and quite time consuming. That being said, I hope you guys liked this chapter. Your thoughts?

Also, something for you fellow readers to look forward to! ROUND 2 between Amber and Cinder! That being said, I bid you all adieu!
