"They are getting restless more every day," Riley paced around the empty lot. "Three of them are missing. They failed to come back after their hunt."

"Yes, I already know about that," She narrowed her eyes, ignoring the glare he threw towards her. "Unlike you, I took care of that situation."

He let out a snarl and made his way towards her. "I can't keep an eye on all of them! How much longer-"

"It won't be long," Victoria coolly tells him. "We could have attacked this week but now we have to wait longer. You need to replace the ones that you lost."

"Replace?" Riley narrowed his red eyes at her. "I thought you said–"

"I killed them," Victoria snarled. "If we let them just leave, they could have alerted the Cullens. I will not risk all these weeks of planning to let three rouge newborn vampires ruin everything."

"Do you know how difficult it is going to be to replace them?" Riley gritted through his teeth. "I will need your help. Not only in replacing the three but controlling the group!"

"I can't," Victoria glared at him. "I have already told you that one of them–"

"Yeah yeah," Riley rolled his eyes in irritation. "One of them could see the future. There is a chance that she would see you and come after us. I heard you say it many times."

"Then stop asking if you already know the answer."

"And then?" Riley frowns.

"What do you mean by that?" She narrowed her eyes at him. She was beginning to grow tired of him. Nothing good ever happened to those that make her angry or annoyed. She killed her kind before, she won't hesitate to kill him if he continues to make mistakes.

"After we kill all the Cullens, what are you going to do?"

She knew for a fact that she would kill him. Maybe not right away but eventually she will. She doesn't like anyone clinging to her. Nobody would ever replace James. He had understood her and they both had the same bloodthirst of the chase of the game. Riley lacked that. He was immature and kept asking why she had to always be away. After she killed the human she didn't care what the others will do.

The redhead shrugged, walking away from him. "I'll let you know."

"Do you think having the graduation party is a bad idea?" Bella asked Ruby, fidgeting with the bracelet in her wrist.

"It is bad timing," Ruby shrugged, looking away from the fight to the human. "But Alice and Esme think that you and your classmates need at least one normal day from what is happening in the news."

Ruby smiles at hearing the triumphant laugh coming from Garrett. She turned to look just in time for her brother to tackle the nomad down on the ground. Jasper sighed heavily and continued to observe the fight. She let out a snort and turned her attention back to Bella.

"I think Victoria is behind it."

The vampire quickly turned to look at her.

"I think she is doing it by herself or she is working with the Volturi," Bella glanced at Edward before glancing back at Ruby. "I told Edward about it but he is set that the Volturi are behind it."

"He was very vocal about it," Ruby agreed. "I agree with Alice and Carlisle. The Volturi don't want you dead..well at least Aro doesn't. From what Edward has told me, Aro has taken a good liking to you and is excited about how you will be as one of us."

"But that can't all be it, right?" Bella shivered, remembering the milky red eyes staring at her. "It's because of my immunity against vampire's gifts."

Ruby wasn't there when her brother went to Volterra when he thought that Bella had died. Emmett had to literally physically restrain her and Jasper had to use his gift to calm her down, in order for her to listen to Carlisle explain that Alice and Bella were on their way to get Edward. She almost ripped her brother's head off when he came back but was more relieved when she saw that he was unharmed.

"It doesn't matter who is behind it," Ruby shrugged. "They will be stopped no matter what. You're basically family, we protect our own."

They both turned to look at the fight. Garrett came out victorious in the end. He was able to pin Edward down and Jasper made the fight come to a stop. Bella gave Ruby a small smile before making her way to Edward. She gave a 'Congratulations' to the nomad as he walked towards Ruby.

"Were you impressed?" He grinned at her, coming to stand in front of her.

"Eh," Ruby shrugged before giving him a smile. "Now I know who can teach me more moves back at home."

"I like that idea," he chuckled, giving her a kiss on the cheek. He went to stand behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him. They both let out a sigh and watched Alice fight Emmett.

They both found it quite amusing at how fast Alice was, making Emmett frustrated. Ruby glanced towards the wolves. She spotted the brown wolf, sitting next to the black one. She wondered how Jacob would take the news when he finds out that not only Bella is going to be turned into a vampire but is also going to marry Edward. She turned to look at her brother, who was already staring at her.

Who is going to be the one to tell him after you propose to Bella? Ruby raised her eyebrow at him.

His golden eyes flicked to the wolf for a second before he glanced back at her. He shrugged and glanced down at Bella.

That would be interesting if she is the one to break the news. Ruby hummed, feeling Garrett rest his chin on top of her head. Maybe it will be best if she tells him. He would rip your head off and then there will be no wedding.

Edward let out a snort and grasped Bella's hand.

"I can't picture you in high school," Ruby giggled. "You will disrupt history class every five minutes when they go through the wars that included Britain."

"Of course I would," Garrett huffed, poking the dark haired vampire that was sitting next to him in her room. "Humans need proper lessons on real history."

"Uh huh," Ruby shook her head in amusement. "I can picture it now. You in front of the class, tell–"

She was interrupted by her bedroom door suddenly opening.

"Whatever happened to knocking?" Ruby threw a glare at her three brothers. "Never heard of privacy before? You don't see me barging in your room whenever you bring Bella around."

Edward ignored his sister, keeping his eyes trained to the nomad, who stood up. He narrowed his eyes at Garrett. He only had a few minutes to talk to him before he had to go to Bella's house along with Jasper and Emmett.

"This won't take long," Edward frowned, taking a step closer to Garrett. He observed him for another minute before he began to talk again. "I don't like you or the way you have been flirting with my sister from the moment you saw her."

"Not to mention the way he would kiss her hand," Emmett said from behind Edward, sending a smirk to Ruby, who glared at him.

"But for some reason my sister likes you," Edward gritted. "She has decided to date you and that means I will have to tolerate your presence."

Garrett nodded, knowing that Edward wasn't a big fan of him compared to the other family members. Esme and Carlisle had actually been very pleased along with Alice and Rosalie. Even Jasper and Emmett had found it amusing. Only Edward was the only one opposing and it was reasonable. Ruby was Edward's biological sister and he would obviously feel protective towards her.

"I want you to tell me what made you pursue her?" Edward asked. "I'm sure you have met other vampire and human females. What made you want to date my sister instead of the others that you met?"

Garrett grinned, already knowing the answer. "She is different from others that I met. She can keep up with my banter and isn't afraid to throw it back. She is smart, talented, strong and is protective. Not to mention that she is stunning."

Hearing Emmett's fake gag at the declaration the nomad had given Edward, Ruby threw a pillow towards him. He easily caught it, smirking at his sister. She let out an annoyed huff as he threw it back.

"From the moment I saw her in the clearing I wanted to get to know her. Even if her music taste is questionable," Garrett threw a playful grin at her, "she is the most interesting creature that has ever graced his planet. And I am just honored that she has given me a chance to show her that I care about her and would do anything she tells me to do."

"Even if it means you have to give up human blood and quit the nomad life?" Jasper curiously asked the nomad. He could feel the affection the nomad has towards Ruby or how happy he gets whenever Ruby smiles at him.

"I find it difficult to adjust but I will give it up," Garrett said. "It's a challenge but I never back up from it."

Edward glanced towards his sister and knew that she not only moved from the small speech that Garrett gave but also ecstatic. He feared that Garrett would only want to find physical pleasure from Ruby but Edward had been wrong. And for once he is glad about it. He was relieved that the nomad was actually wanting a real relationship with his sister. But that still didn't mean he wouldn't hesitate to hurt Garrett if he ever hurt his sister in any way.

"I still don't like that you are dating her," Edward frowned towards the nomad. "But I can see that you are sincere in your feelings towards her. I will make an effort to accept it and get to know you as well."

"Understandable," Garrett nodded. He smiled towards Edward, putting his hand in front of him, gesturing to shake his hand.

Edward hesitated for a second before he took the nomad's hand and gave it a firm shake. He gave his sister a nod, and turned to walk out of the room.

"Oh and before we leave," Emmett glared at the nomad and growled. "We won't hesitate to rip you from limb to limb."

Ruby let out a snort when Garrett turned to look at her, with his eyes widened in surprise. Emmett gave a pat to Garrett's back and walked out, with Jasper following behind.

"Well that went better than I imagined," Ruby smiled at the nomad.

Garrett let out a hum, grinning when she patted the empty spot he was laying next to her before they got interrupted. He pulled her closer to his side, letting out a content sigh when she laid her head on his chest, as they continued to listen to music.

"So you mentioned you will do anything I say," Ruby looked up at him. "Does that mean anything?"

Garrett smiled. "Yes."

"Good," Ruby smirked at him. "After this whole thing is done with, we are going to visit England for a few days."

The smile fell from the nomad's face. "Anything but that."

"You said anything!" Ruby laughed.

Garrett let out a growl and rolled on top of her. "There is nothing in this world that will make me go there."

"We will see about that," she giggled. She would have laughed more if it wasn't for Garrett's growl and a second later him crushing his lips against hers. She would tease him again about touring England but for now she was content on continuing to kiss him.
