Timeskip(2 days/ September 20)

Ruby grumbled in tiredness as she woke up and looked over to see her father asleep in a chair. She sat up and sighed quietly, causing Taiyang to stir awake.

"Ruby! You're awake!" he said happily as he hugged Ruby.

Ruby grumbled as she said "Ugh... what happened?"

"Your uncle Qrow and sister found you and your teammate, unconscious. They got you out of there, though, and brought you both home safe."

Ruby looked down in thought for a split second, then remembered what she last remembered as she then looked at her dad as she said "Wait! Rex, is he ok?!"

Taiyang just looked down in defeat as he said "Uh... He's uh... *sigh*... he hasn't woken up... Theres no easy way to tell you this but...he's... he's in a coma."

Ruby eyes widened as she said "What?! Where is he?! I need..." she yelled as she tried to get out of bed but then fell down in fatigue.

"Whoa, whoa there. You're still exhausted after the battle. He's ok. Yang has been keeping an eye on him in the spare room he used before" he said as he helped Ruby back into bed and then said "I'm just glad to have my girls back at home."

Ruby reluctantly got back into bed as she then said "What happened to the school?! And Vale?! Were they able to clear out the Grimm?"

"Things at Vale are under control, but the school... It's... it's another story" he said.

Ruby began to think back on what happened at Beacon and remembered what happened to Rex. "That wasn't his fault. He was attacked in the head and..and..." she stuttered but then Tai put his hands on her shoulders, trying to calm her down.

"Sweetie, whether it was his fault or not, he still fell on top of Beacon. Some of the grimm showed up after he fell and have been trying to enter Beacon but also circling it. It's nothing they can't handle but it's the school building that's going to be an issue."

"Wait, how did you see that?" she asked.

"I saw it on the news" he said.

This made Ruby more confused as she said "What do you mean. The news people ran away when the grimm attacked."

Tai sighed as he said "It's complicated. Apparently someone was taping the whole thing but it seemed to be only on Rex and him fighting at Beacon. I've got it on the TV downstairs if you want to see it. Some of your friends are already down in the living room, watching it" said Tai, to which hearing this caught Ruby off guard.

"What, friends? Who's downstairs" asked Ruby as she was curious who stopped by.

"Well, they said their team name was Ranger, I believe, since I probably would forget their names, they're downstairs. And then there was one that had a rabbit Faunus. I think they said Coffee pot. Eh, you'll have to go downstairs and see them. They've been watching the last news reel of the Beacon battle while you and Yang stayed in bed" said Tai as he tried to remember the names.

Hearing this made Ruby wonder more about what he was saying as she asked "What do you mean news reel? Who did the taping?"

"I... Look that's not important right now. We can talk about it later. Things are just... kind of a mess" said Tai, trying to calm Ruby down.

"It's always a mess" said Qrow from behind them. They turned to see him finishing his flask before continuing.

"Mind if we have a minute?" asked Qrow in his carefree attitude.

"What, I can't stay here?!" protested Tai.

"Tai. Please" pleaded Qrow

Taiyang obliged and began to leave the room as he said "I'm glad you're alright. I'll go make us some tea."

Tai glared at Qrow on the way out, but Qrow didn't care. He then pulled up a chair and said next to Ruby as he asked "So, how you feeling?"

"Um... I kind of hurt... all over" she said.

Qrow chuckled as he said "That makes sense, after what you did."

"What are you talking about?!" asked Ruby.

Qrow leaned forward in the chair as he said "What's the last thing you remember?"

Ruby began to recall the moments before things went blank.

"We saw Rex had stopped that grimm and when we thought we won...he...he..." as she remembered Rex getting attacked in his giant form and him getting stabbed after that, which brought some tears to Ruby's eyes.

She then turned to Qrow and asked "Is Rex really in a coma like dad said?"

Qrow looked down as he said "Yea. Sorry, kid" and hearing this made Ruby begin to cry a little.

"Hey, turn off the water works. I'm sure he wouldn't want you crying for him" he said

"I... ran to find him... and saw that Cinder girl walking up to him with a knife and I thought she cut his head off then everything went white!" Said a Ruby as she tried to recall what happened that night.

"Anything else?" asked Qrow.

"I remember...my head hurting" she said.

"The night you met Ozpin, what was the first thing he said to you?" asked Qrow.

"I... I don't know. I think it was something about..." said Ruby but Qrow finished her sentence.

"...Silver eyes. That's an extremely rare trait" said Qrow.

"So?" said Ruby.

"You're special, Ruby. And not in the "Daddy loves his special angel" kind of way. You're special the same way your mom was. Remnant's full of legends and stories, some of them true, some made up. But there's one Oz told me from a very long time ago. Back before Huntsmen, before Kingdoms, it was said that those born with silver eyes were destined to lead the life of a warrior" said Qrow as he looked out the window.

"You see, the creatures of Grimm, the most fearsome monsters mankind had ever encountered, were afraid of those silver-eyed warriors. They were the best of the best. It was said that even a single look from one of these fighters could strike a Grimm down. Heh. It's a ridiculous story" said Qrow.

"But... you think that I might be... Wait, wait, how did you know what Ozpin said to me... the night we met? asked Ruby until Qrow said.

"All those missions I go on... all the times I'm away in some far-off place... it's been for Ozpin. But he's missing now. Something's been set in motion. With Oz gone, I'll have to pick up where he left off."

"Then what can I do? If I'm so special, then I can help, right?" asked Ruby.

"You really wanna help? Get some rest. You're in no condition to go anywhere right now. Besides, our enemy's trail leads all the way to Haven. That'd be quite a trip for a pipsqueak like you. Besides, you might wanna check on your teammates. Or what's left of them. Catch ya later, kiddo" said Qrow as he walked away from her room.

Ruby sat for a while in thought and decided to see how her sister and Rex were doing. She began heading towards her room. She walked to the entry and saw Yang sitting on the floor and then saw Rex, without a shirt, with bandages around his stomach and chest.

Ruby gasped as she said "Rex!" and ran over to him and looked over his body to see if there was anything else wrong with him. She then ran to the other side of the bed and tried to wake Rex up by shaking his shoulders and saying name "Rex! Rex!" but then she was stopped by Yang grabbing her right arm.

"Don't bother, Ruby. I've tried that and nothing's worked. He's not waking up" said Yang in a depressing way.

Ruby then saw how sad Yang was, realizing that he indeed wasn't going to wake up. She saw how distraught she was so she worked her way around the bed and then walked over and hugged her.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" she said trying to cheer her up.

"Yea, me too" mumbled Yang as she accepted the hug.

Ruby frowned as she released the hug as she then said "Yang, where are Weiss and Blake? And Penny?"

"Weiss' father... came for her" said Yang as her gaze never left Rex.

"What? What do you mean?" asked Ruby.

"No one outside of Vale knows what happened here. Before the tower fell, the last thing people saw was Atlas soldiers attacking innocent people and Grimm destroying the city. Everyone's scared. No one knows who to trust. So, Weiss' father came to take her back to Atlas, where he thinks it's safe. She's gone."

"Well, what about-

"Penny was taken back to Atlas. When the situation was done, things began to look bad for Atlas, so Ironwood had to return and he took Penny back with him. Thats all I know" said Yang.

"Ok but what about-"

"And Blake ran! Sun saw her go. After we got to the city, she just... ran!" yelled Yang as she looked at her sister.

"But... why!?" asked Ruby as she was about to cry again.

"I don't know... and I don't care" said Yang as she looked back to Rex.

"There has to be a reason she-"

"No, there doesn't! Sometimes bad things just happen, Ruby!" said Yang.

"So, what do we do now?" she asked.

"You can do whatever you want. Jaune teams and Coco's team are downstairs. With too many people being evacuated, they decided to go with us when things were bad in Vale. They said they wanted to see how Rex was doing but they've been watching the news when we got Rex in bed. You can do whatever you want with them but I'm not leaving until Rex wakes back up. I can't" she stated as he held his hand in hers.

Ruby could see her sister was hurting as she slowly began to leave the room, but she paused in the doorway, looking over her shoulder to say one last thing.

"I love you" finished Ruby as she began to walk away. Yang just turned her gaze back to Rex as a lonely tear fell down her face. She felt so powerless. Rex had shown to be a strong fighter and saved Beacon but she wished she could've seen the blast coming towards him. She could've saved him but she didn't.

All of her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of tapping glass and a bird call. She looked towards the window and saw that a raven was standing on the window sill, tilting its head side to side. After staring at it for a while, the bird turned around and flew away from the window sill.

Ruby began walking down the stairs and as she walked down the stairs, she saw Ren and Nora on the couch along Yatsuhashi and Coco at the other end as she then saw the TV and saw that it was playing a video of what looked like the fairgrounds at Beacon that night the grimm attacked.

As the stairs creaked, this made the group of different teammates turned their heads at the noise and saw Ruby had made it to the bottom of the stairs with sadness still in her eyes.

"RUBY!" yelled Nora as she zoomed over to Ruby and hugged her tight while Nora was sobbing uncontrollably.

"Oh Ruby. I feared the worst with you. I mean, we knew Rex was in a coma. And we feared that you were the same. And we all cried and felt bad. Oh, it was awful..." whined Nora but she was taken back by Ren as he dragged her back to the couch.

"Knock it off, Nora. The girl just woke up, so lets not crowd her so much" said Ren as Nora drooped her body down in defeat as she knew he was right.

Ruby shook off the pain she was feeling from the hug as she regained her thoughts and turned her attention back to the others.

"Guys, what are you doing here? And where's the rest of your teams" asked Ruby as she had many questions for them.

Coco stood up as she said "Well, to answer your first question, things were still bad in Vale. Many people were still being evacuated. And we wanted to help with the evacuations but our teachers told us to go home. It'd be safer there, and some did go, but Jaune's team and mine were worried about Rex. After seeing all he did, we couldn't help but be worried" as she strolled her way over to Ruby.

"So when your uncle and dad carried Rex and you to their car, we went with them and your dad allowed us to stay here since he knew how bad things were" said Coco as she soon stopped in front of Ruby and wrapped her arms around her, trying to comfort her.

"We heard that Rex was in a coma since Yang tried everything to wake him up and he didn't even react. I can't imagine what you're going through right now, Ruby, but let your friends be the ones to try and make you feel better. We all cared about Rex since he's done so much for us, so you're not alone in feeling sad that he's not waking up" said Coco as she rubbed Ruby's back, trying to comfort her, still.

Hearing this, Ruby's eyes widened at the affection she was getting from her upperclassman, but she couldn't keep her emotions under control in that moment as she then unleashed all her sadness as she began to cry into Coco's clothes as Coco just tightened her hold on her.

"It's not right. He was a good guy. Why would anyone do such things to him. Why?! WHY!?" cried Ruby as she kept sobbing into Coco, while Coco was trying her hardest not to cry as well. She liked Rex as good friend since he had made Velvet feel more welcome at Beacon and how he worked hard to save the students during the Beacon battle and she knew how sad Ruby was at that moment.

But Coco and Ruby soon felt something else wrap around them as they soon looked up and saw Yatsuhashi, Ren, and Nora all wrapping their arms around the two in an effort to comfort the both of them.

"You're not alone Ruby. We're all sad that Rex ended up the way he is now. But he's just in a coma, not dead. So don't go thinking that he's gone for good. If we know him, he'll come back and show the people the hurt him the "what for" " said Ren, trying to calm the two down as the 5 of them kept hugging each other.

"Yea. We care about him too. He's done a lot for the Faunus in teaching the White Fang a lesson. And he stood up for Velvet and our team is grateful to him for that. But all we can do now is make sure that we're all ok as well as him. So we'll help you through this" said Yatsuhashi, calming Ruby down.

"Yea. He's a tough cookie so he'll bounce back in no time. And if we find the people that did this to him, we'll break their legs" said Nora as she clenched her fists in anger, making Ruby slightly chuckle as Ren just groaned.

She couldn't help but smile at the care and affection she was getting from her friends. She wiped her tears away as the group then let go of the hug and stepped back from to see if she had anything to say.

"Thanks guys. That means a lot right now" said Ruby gratefully as she then turned her attention back up the stairs as she grew a somber look in her eyes.

"It still hurts that Rex is in a coma but I know that he'll wake up in no time. But it still stings to know that he's not here, awake and trying to cheer us up, or doing something amazing" said Ruby as she wiped her eyes dry.

Coco could still see she was still suffering so all she could do was offer her emotionally support as she placed her arm on Ruby's shoulder, making Ruby turn her attention back to her.

"Hey, do you really think he'd want you crying over him at this point. If he were here, what would he tell you?" asked Coco as she was trying get Ruby to cheer up.

Ruby gave a slight chuckle as she said "He'd probably tell me to stop crying and be a tough little "so and so" or something snarky along that line. But he'd probably tell me to not worry about him and worry more about myself" as she tried to think of what he would say to her in this situation.

Coco smiled as she said "Thats right. So why don't we get some breakfast in that tummy of yours and we'll worry about what to do later" as she gestured her hand to the direction of the kitchen.

Ruby wiped her tears as she nodded and said "Sure, but can I see what you were watching. Dad said you were watching the news and I want to see what's happening before we eat something" said Ruby as Coco nodded and led her to the couch. Coco then grabbed the remote and pressed play on the remote.

Soon a lady on the screen showed up and began talking about the events that happened 2 days ago.

"Devastation at Beacon Academy. Grimm and White Fang members bringing chaos to Beacon, with even Atlas soldiers going rogue and scaring everyone around them. All may have seem lost but reports say that a mysterious young man saved them from being eaten or attacked by the grimm. Here's the special footage of what went down during the battle. Jordan."

The lady then turned her attention to a screen as the TV began playing video feed of the Grimm attacking the fairgrounds. Ruby grimaced at the memories that happened that night but then she saw a flashing blue light zoom past the camera.

Ruby blinked at the light but then saw the camera move over and soon the blue light came back and soon she saw that it was Rex that was the blue light. She then looked down at a glowing blue light down at his legs and saw a build she hadn't seen before. Mechanical boots hovering over blue balls spheres

She then saw him turning his head around and then zooming away again.

She then heard the TV audio change and turned to see the video was now of Rex battling the grimm and then smashing it to the ground with his strong punch. She was surprised that the footage had followed all of Rex's attacks and in high def too.

"It's amazing. At the speed of sound, this boy had zoomed all around beacon, according to our reports and managed to save the People of Beacon and Vale, leaving the death total at zero. Casualties were still a factor during the battle but no one was reported missing or dead. Truly this boy must be Beacon's shining star pupil. Or that's what we wished had we could be saying"

Hearing this made Ruby feel uneasy as she listened to what the news lady had to say.

"Just when all hope had seemed lost and grimm kept coming out of the flying monster at Beacon, that same boy saved us all from more grim creations."

The footage then cut to a side view screening, showing the flying grimm on top of the tower, screeching its head off. Then the camera zoomed in on Rex running towards the columns. Then in a bright flash, Rex's giant form appeared on screen and Ruby continued to watch Rex battling the grimm until he managed to destroy the grimm with one strong punch.

The footage then cut to seeing the robot giving the thumbs up but then he was attacked by the fire blasts from the Atlas ships and the giant fireballs. Then Rex began to fall backwards onto the school, crushing several parts of the academy.

"Amazing wasn't it. A boy that could transform into a giant metal man, and be able to take down a giant grim like that, only to be attacked and fall onto Beacon Academy really..."

But before the lady could say anything, Ruby clicked off the TV as she didn't want to rewatch or her what the lady was saying.

This took everyone by surprise but they could understand why she did it. She wasn't comfortable with seeing the rest.

Ruby then began to think back at how Rex was stabbed by Cinder and ended up in a coma and that just brought her mood down as tears began welling up in her eyes again.

Coco could see she was about to cry so she just pulled her into a hug as she rubbed her shoulder, comforting her.

"Hey. I know things may seem bad but he saved a lot of people. They're grateful for what he's done for them. So don't think about that bad and focus on the good" said Coco, as she kept rubbing Ruby's shoulders.

Ruby just leaned into her as she just nodded at her words, making Coco smile that she would do just that.

Ruby then sat back up as she wiped her tears away.

"Right. Now I think some breakfast could make me feel a bit better" said Ruby as the group simply hummed in agreement as they all stood up and began walking into the kitchen, to where they all saw her dad making tea and pancakes.

Nora gasped as she said "PANCAKES" but before she could run over and eat them, Ren grabbed her head and pulled her back and said "Share."

Nora just grumbled at his words.

Ruby chuckled at Nora and was about to walk over to her dad when she looked out the kitchen window and saw Jaune, outside near the trees, obviously talking on his scroll as she managed to see Pyrrha doing the same.

"Hey. What are Jaune and Pyrrha doing out there" asked Ruby as she then realized that Coco was missing half of her team as well.

"Come to think of it, where's your other half Coco" asked Ruby.

"Well, when the battle was over, the Beacon communications tower was destroyed, meaning that they couldn't get a call from their parents. And they've been trying to see if they can get a message out their parents. But it won't do them any good. With out the CCTS, we can't call anyone. But they're probably leaving some messages behind in case something happens and communications are back up again" said Coco, as Ruby soon hummed in understanding.

She then began walking over to her dad and grabbed the pancakes he had on a plate and made her way over to the table, where everyone else was sitting at. Tai managed to catch a glimpse of Ruby's sad face so he could tell that Ruby was still feeling down so he said to her "Don't worry, sweetheart. Your friend may be in a coma but he's going to be fine. Yang's watching him. So you know he'll be protected. From what I've seen of him, he wouldn't want you to cry over him so calm down, Red" said Tai as he went back to tea making but then turned back around and said "By the way Ruby, you got some mail today" as he pointed at the table as he brought tea to the table and then began heading to the living room.

"I'll be back, sweetheart. I've got to see how things are looking now in Vale" said Tai as he left the room.

Ruby saw that there was a white envelope on the table and sat down and opened it, as everyone else began digging into the pancakes.

As she opened it, several little papers fell out of it and onto the table, shocking her and her friends.

"What the" she thought and she bent down to pick them up and then read the papers

"Wait. Train tickets. And wait...boat" she mumbled to herself as she saw all of the little papers were both train tickets and boat tickets. 20 in total for both train and boat. She looked closer at the tickets and looked at it closely.

"What is it, Ruby" asked Ren as he was curious what the little slips of paper were.

"It says train tickets for... the 26. That's 6 days from from now" said Ruby as she then looked inside the envelope and grabbed a piece of paper bigger than the others and began reading it.

"My dearest Ruby Rose. I know that things may seem bad now and your team may be in shambles but you can fix those broken pieces with a little help from your friends, that aren't your teammates. Your enemies trail leads to Haven Academy. I suggest you start heading that way. Don't worry, everything will make sense in the future. What I suggest you do now is ask for a few favors from whatever your friends are near by. Best of luck to you and your friends."

And that was it.

Nothing else.

Everyone was in complete shock.

But the one thing that was on everyone's mind was Who exactly sent Ruby this letter.

Was it a message from the bad guys or someone else.

But as they thought about what this meant, they were interrupted by the doors opening and in stepped Jaune and Pyrrha, Velvet and Fox.

Jaune walked in and then saw the Ruby was awake.

"RUBY" he cried as he ran over to her and hugged her as he was happy she was awake now.

"Hey Jaune. Good to see you guys are still alive" said Ruby though the bone crushing hug.

"Jaune, let her go. She's been through enough already. Don't crush her to death" said Pyrrha, trying to get him off of Ruby.

Jaune let go of her and said "Sorry, just happy that we're ok" but as he said that, he soon remembered that one of the people in this house was still in a coma.

"Oh my god, Ruby. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to be insensitive like that" said Jaune, trying to fix his error.

"Its fine, Jaune. I don't blame you. We've been through a lot and we're all still a bit shaken about the whole thing, but I know Rex wouldn't us to worry about him. But I think we can avenge him if nothing else will happen" said Ruby as she turned her attention back to the note and the tickets.

This made the late showers raise their eyebrows as Velvet said "Ruby, what are you talking about?"

Ruby gazed at the paper and began to ponder in thought about what to do. Well, with her team broken up like it was, there was only one thing to do. She then took a deep breath and said "Have a seat, guys. I think we'll be here a while" as she then began explaining what she was talking about.

Timeskip (September 26)

It was 6 days after Ruby woke up but Rex was still behind her in that situation as she told the others about the note and how it talked about how the enemies trail leads to Haven so she knew this was her chance to avenge her fallen friend. So she talked with her friends and told them her idea. They all thought she was crazy for thinking about going through with it, but with Beacon gone, along with communications, they didn't have any other choice in what to do.

They soon all agreed to follow her but Pyrrha said that she needed to go back to Vale to pick someone up to bring along.

It was now September 26 and Ruby was quietly stepping outside her house, as she was wearing a backpack, and quietly shut the front door.

"Hey" said a voice which turned out to be Jaune. Standing next to him were his teammates, Nora, Ren, Pyrrha, and the new girl they saved at Beacon which was Amber.

"Hey, Jaune. Haven's a long way to go" she said.

"I know but it's the only lead we have" he said.

"Are you sure you all want to come along?" asked Ruby.

"Yes we do. After all, Rex has done so much for us. Its only right to find out why these people did this to him" said Pyrrha.

"The journey will be perilous, and whether we'll find answers at the end is entirely uncertain." said Ren.

"But we wouldn't be here if we weren't up for it" said Nora.

Ruby then turned to Amber and said "And you want to come along, to avenge Rex" she asked Amber.

"Yes. Like Pyrrha said, he's done so much for me. And I want to find the people that did this to him and make them pay" said Amber.

"Then let's get started" cheered Ruby as the four began their walk, down the road leading away from Tai's home before Jaune asked "You got the tickets" to which Ruby said "Doh" and ran back to the house, making the group laugh at her misfortune.

With Ruby gone, Pyrrha leaned over to Amber and asked "So did you get permission to go with us."

Amber grew a nervous face and gave a nervous chuckle and said "Uh-uh- yes" as she gave a slight shrug. Pyrrha gave a look that basically said "really".

Amber just put her arms down and whispered "Ok, I may have snuck out when the teachers and medical personal were gone" which made Pyrrha sweat drop at what she did but just chuckled.

"Then we better get moving before they find you" said Pyrrha.

Ruby then came back out and the gang continued on their way to the train station.

"A smaller, more honest soul...

It's true that a simple spark can ignite hope, breathe fire into the hearts of the weary.

The ability to derive strength from hope is undoubtedly mankind's greatest attribute.

Which is why I will focus all of my power... to snuff it out."

"How does it feel, knowing that all of your time and effort has been for nothing?

That your guardians have failed you?

That everything you've built will be torn down before your very eyes?

Your faith in mankind was not misplaced.

When banded together, unified by a common enemy, they are a noticeable threat.

But divide them, place doubt into their minds, and any semblance of power they once had will wash away."

"Of course, they won't realize it at first. Like you, they'll cling to their fleeting hope, their aspirations. But this is merely the first move."

"So you send your guardians, your Huntsmen and Huntresses, and when they fail and you turn to your smaller soul, know that you send her to the same pitiful demise."

In an unknown area

A figure in black was overlooking a barren wasteland as she said

"This is the beginning of the end, Ozpin... And I can't wait to watch you burn." said the woman as her eyes glowed ominously as she made an evil grin.

Train Station

The gang had made it to the train station in Vale and waited patiently for it to get here. When it did, the gang got on with Nora cheering her heart out at how they were going on a trip to Haven in a train, which made everyone laugh.

But before they began to step foot, they were stopped by a voice saying "Hey, Red! Wait for us!"

Ruby and the gang turned around to see...

...Team CFVY, with bags around their shoulders.

Ruby gasped as she said "Coco, you made it!" as she walked over and stopped in front on them.

"Of course we did. If we have a chance to get back at the guys that hurt Rex, one of our own, then you know damn well we're going with you" said Coco as she lowered her new glasses down.

"Velvet was also very persistent in us going when you talked about your plan" said Fox as he nudged Velvet's shoulder.

Velvet groaned at his nudge but soon turned back to Ruby and said "Well of course I wanted to come. Rex has done so much for me and the Faunas that when you said that there was a chance to avenge him, being in his coma state, then I had to take the chance. I owe him and this is the best way to pay it back. So we're not backing down" said Velvet as she clenched her fist.

Ruby was taken back by the sudden action but was happy that they were willing to help avenge Rex but she still wanted to make sure they weren't having second thoughts as she asked "Are you sure you all want to come along?"

"Yes we do. After all, Rex has done so much for us. Its only right to find out why these people did this to him" said Yatsuhashi as he clenched his fist.

"Woah there, cowboy. We haven't even found the enemy yet. Save that strength and brute force when we find them" said Coco as she held her arm out to stop his sudden anger.

"Sorry" said Yatsuhashi as he released his fist.

They were then interrupted by Amber saying "Come on, slow pokes. The trains going to be leaving soon. Get on or you're getting left behind" as she made her way into the train cart.

Everyone soon agreed agreed with her and made their way onto the train.

But farther back, Qrow began walking towards a car that was farther back from the gang. He stopped the door and turned towards the gang walking on the train car ahead of him. He just smirked as he looked down at Ozpin's cane and began to step onto the cart as he the doors closed behind him. And the train began to move down the line, away from Vale and onto Haven.

And so their new journey began.
