The next day, Pepper showed up at 7:00 to take the bride-to-be and Kagome out to breakfast then to Kleinfeld Bridal. Based in the heart of Chelsea, Kleinfeld Bridal's 30,000-square-foot salon is the largest luxury bridal retailer in the world, with the broadest selection of American and European designers. Tony wanted Nodoka to have the wedding dress of her dreams.

The girls went out and had a filling breakfast. After they had breakfast, they headed to Kleinfeld Bridal's to pick out a wedding dress. They spent the better part of the morning picking out a wedding dress, and bride maids dress for Kagome and Pepper. When Nodoka finally picked out her dress, it needed to be altered slightly to fit her frame. Nodoka chose a white lace fishtail dress. And for Kagome and Pepper, she decided a Floral Print long Cheongsam dress. Both women looked stunning in it.

While Kagome was trying on her dressing in the dressing room, she decided to take a selfie so that she could show Logan since he wasn't going to be able to attend the wedding. She took the picture and sent it to him. A few seconds later, she got a response.

**You look beautiful in that dress; I wish I go with you to your parent's wedding.**

**I know, Logan, so do I.**

Kagome put her phone down and changed back into her clothes. After picking out the dresses, Nodoka, Kagome, and Pepper left the bridal shop and met Tony and Souta for lunch. Tony pestered Nodoka about her wedding dress, trying to find out what it looked like. Nodoka giggled, "You're going to have to wait until the day of our wedding, Tony."

Tony groan, "Nodoka, I don't like waiting. I want to know now!"

"Tough cookies," She said with a laugh and kissed his cheek.

The weeks went by, and the wedding date grew closer and closer. Tony was getting more and more anxious. Everything was already arranged; all of Nodoka and Souta's things were moved into the Tower though she refused to live in the penthouse with Tony and Kagome. She and Souta lived on the floor below, much to Tony's dismay.

"But, Honey, we're going to be married soon. What does it matter if we share a bed now?"

"No, Tony, I want to do this right, please understand."

Tony sighed, "Whatever makes you happy, Love."

On the day of the wedding, Tony was a nervous wreck. He had never been so scared in his entire life. Rhodey was in the penthouse with him trying to calm him down, "Don't you have any alcohol to settle your nerves or something."

"I don't drink anymore. Why don't you make me a cup of tea," Tony asked.

"Tea, are you serious?"

"Yes, tea, Nodoka got me hooked on the stuff; it helps me sleep."

Rhodey stared at Tony for a moment, "Alright, tea coming right up."

Rhodey put the kettle on and got a mug down from the cupboard; he didn't think a teacup would be enough. When the water was ready, Rhodey steeped the tea and made it exactly the way Tony told him to and handed Tony the mug. Tony took the cup from Rhodey, but his hand was shaking so severely that Rhodey took it away from him.

"Tones, sit down before you collapse. I've never seen you so nervous."

"Platypus, I'm about to marry the love of my life. The woman I have never been ever to get over. And I'm scared to death I won't be able to make her happy. What if I'm a terrible husband and father to Souta."

"Oh, come on, Tony, you're going to be a great husband. I've never seen you so happy, and you've changed so much and all for the better. And as far as being a good father to Souta, of course, you'll be. Look at how good you are with Kagome."

"What if I screw up?"

"You won't. You guys may have problems, every couple does, but together you'll pull through. You love each other too much not to, now, finish your tea and let's get you married," Rhodey said and patted Tony on the back.

"Thanks, Honey Bear."

"You're welcome, Man."

Tony finished his tea, then he and Rhodey stepped out onto the helipad; Tony looked around, "Scott said he'd be here to take us to Xavier's Mansion."

"I still can't believe you agreed to get married at Kagome's old school."

"Nodoka wanted somewhere simple, and they have a beautiful garden. The reception, on the other hand, is all me," Tony said smugly.

With those words, there was a shimmering in front of them, and the Black Bird appeared. Tony's mouth fell open, his eyes shined, "They have cloaking technology," He said in awe.

Rhodey pinched Tony, "Tony, no, remember your wedding."

"Right, right. Love first, tech later."

The ramp lowered, and Scott stepped out, "Mr. Stark, we're ready to go when you are."

Tony took a deep breath, "Okay, let's go." Tony and Rhodey got on board the Black Bird. Scott took the pilot's chair and activated the cloaking device, then took off.

At the mansion, Nodoka, Kagome, and Pepper were getting ready for the ceremony. Pepper and Kagome helped Nodoka Pin up her hair. She had finally let it grow out, and now it was long enough to pin up in a beautiful updo. The girls had gone to the spa the day before, and Nodoka had gotten a manicure and pedicure, as did Kagome and Pepper. She had also gotten a massage and a facial, so Nodoka was relaxed as she could be for her wedding.

Once Nodoka was dressed, Kagome left the room to check on Souta to see if he was dressed. She was surprised to see that Logan was in the bedroom, helping Souta with his suit. Logan looked at Kagome and smiled, "You look beautiful, Princess."

Kagome blushed, "Thank you, Logan. What are you doing here?"

"The kid was having a problem getting his tie on straight, and he asked me to help him."

Kagome nodded and checked Souta to see if he was ready, "Souta, why don't you go with Mom? Dad should be here any minute."

Souta rolled his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, I know when I'm not wanted."

Logan chuckled, but the minute Souta shut the door, he pulled Kagome into his arms, "You know your brother's a smart kid. I'm glad he gave us some time alone before your old man gets here."

Kagome wrapped her arms around Logan's neck and kissed him, "Me too. I wish I could dance with you at the reception tonight."

Logan kissed her again, "Don't worry, Princess, at some point, you and I are going to dance."

Logan tilted his head to the side, "The Black Bird is back. Time to get this show on the road."

Kagome kissed Logan one last time then left the bedroom. She went back into the suite where her mother and Pepper were waiting until the ceremony started. Souta took off to see how Tony was doing; how do you feel, Dad," Souta said to Tony.

Tony's chest puffed up with pride, "I'm okay, son. How's your mom?"

"Good, a little nervous."

Tony nodded. Souta led Tony to the garden where everyone was waiting for them. It was a nice summer day, not too hot, and the garden was in full bloom. Tony greeted everyone that was in attendance. A lot of the people were from the school, but there was also Rhodey's family, Rhodey's mother and father, and his siblings that treated Tony like family. Of course, Happy was there as well.

There were photographers there and videographers as well to capture every moment of the wedding. Pepper made sure that there were no Paparazzi or news crews there. She had a security detail surround the entire mansion. Tony was waiting with the judge at the end of the aisle with Rhodey by his side as his best friend and best man. He could hear the orchestra tuning up to begin playing the wedding march. Tony fidgeted in his spot, waiting for the girls to make their way down; he turned to Rhodey, "You have the ring, right? You didn't lose it."

"Relax, Tones, I have it right here," Rhodey said, patting his breast pocket.

Tony nodded and took a deep breath. He needed to calm down; people got married every day; this was no different. 'I can do this,' Tony thought.

At that moment, Rogue walked over to Rhodey and whispered in his ear; Tony turned and looked at his best friend with a questioning look.

Rhodey smiled, "They're ready."

Tony took a shuttering breath, "Okay, me too."

With that, Rhodey signaled the orchestra, and they began to play. The first one down the aisle was Pepper in her floral dress and her hair in an updo, she looked stunning, and Happy smiled at his girlfriend. Next came Kagome wearing the same dress also with her hair in an updo. Tony smiled as he saw his little girl walking down the aisle. She looked so beautiful and grown-up. A pang of dread entered his heart when he realized that someday he would be walking her down the aisle to get married.

Tony shook his head to dispel the image from his head; Rhodey rolled his eyes; he knew exactly what Tony was thinking. Tony wasn't the only one that thought Kagome looked beautiful, walking down towards her father; Logan couldn't help but stare at his girlfriend and smile. Pride filled him at knowing that that was the woman he was in love with and that she loved him back. And Logan knew that someday Kagome would be walking that aisle towards him.

A few minutes passed, and the music changed to the wedding march; everyone shifted in their chairs so that they could see the bride walk down the aisle. Tony looked back expectantly waiting to see Nodoka, and when he did see his bride on Souta's arm, he gasped. Nodoka was a vision of loveliness. Tony and Nodoka's eyes locked on each other, and he could see that her eyes started welling up with tears. Tony wasn't faring any better. A few moments later, and Tony's vision blurred as tears ran down his face.

Nodoka stopped next to Tony; she smiled and reached up to wipe his tears away; Tony smiled back and did the same. After that, the ceremony was a blur; he didn't remember anything. All that Tony could remember was getting lost in his bride's eyes and answering when he was supposed to. When it came time for the ring, Rhodey had to nudge the ring into Tony's hand, "Oh, right. With this ring, I thee wed."

Tony put the wedding ring on Nodoka's ring finger. She looked at the inscription on it, and it read Forever Love. Nodoka looked up at Tony with tears in her eyes. She then took Tony's wedding band from Kagome and put it on Tony's finger. It read the same thing.

Tony and Nodoka looked at the judge, "Now that the rings have been exchanged as a symbol of love and undying devotion, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Tony didn't waste any time; he dipped Nodoka and kissed her passionately. The judge had to clear his throat to get Tony's attention, but he only smirked at him, "May I now present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Stark."

The crowd erupted in cheers, Kagome and Souta hugged their parents and congratulated them. After that, Pepper and Happy came to congratulate them, along with Rhodey's family and Xavier and the teacher and students. Logan kept his distance; he would congratulate Nodoka later. After receiving everyone's well wishes, the wedding party was then going to make their way to New York City to the reception and celebrate the night away. Unfortunately, at the reception, there was going to be all of the socialites of the city who Tony did not invite to the wedding and all the press. It was a deal that he made with them so that Tony and his family could get married peacefully and quietly.

When they arrived at the reception hall, Tony and Nodoka were mobbed by the press; they took a ton of pictures of them and asked them a thousand questions. Tony skillfully maneuvered Nodoka through the press, and they went inside. Once inside, the new couple was greeted by the mayor of New York, and several members of Congress and senators. There were also joint chiefs of staff present and lots of celebrities. Tony was surprised that the President didn't show up, but he was told that he had a cold and couldn't make it.

As the night went on, Kagome danced with her friends and her godfather Rhodey. She danced with Happy and Souta, and Pepper made sure that she eventually had a chance to dance with Logan in private. Logan and Kagome danced out on the veranda where they wouldn't be disturbed. Kagome kept her head on his chest and relished being with Logan at her parent's wedding.

"Congratulations, Princess," Logan said.

"Thank you, Logan. I'm so happy that my parents are married now."

"And the kid?"

"Souta's happy too. My dad officially adopted him, so now he's Souta Higurashi-Stark."

Logan smiled at Kagome, "That must've made Souta happy."

"It did. He never knew his dad, and my dad has always treated Souta like a son."

Logan and Kagome lapsed into silence again and continued to dance until Logan cocked his head, "Your godfather is coming. It's time for me to go."

Kagome pouted, "I wish you didn't have to."

"So do I, Princess, but until you're ready to tell your old man about us, that's the way it has to be."

"Okay, I love you, Logan."

"I love you too, Kagome."

With that, Logan jumped off the veranda and disappeared into the night. At that moment, Rhodey opens the doors, "Kagome, what are you doing out here?"

"Just getting a little fresh air, Uncle Rhodey."

"Well, come on, your parents are about to cut the cake."

"Okay."

Kagome took Rhodey by the arm, and he escorted his goddaughter inside. They made their way to where her parents were about to cut the cake, and she applauded along with everyone else when they fed each other a piece of cake. After the cake was served, Tony and Nodoka continued to dance, and Souta cut in to dance with his mother, and Kagome danced with her father. They laughed and talked until it was time for the newlyweds to leave for their honeymoon. Tony was taking Nodoka to Italy for their Honeymoon, and from there, anywhere else she wanted to go. They would be gone a month and would be back in time to see their children off to school.

Tony and Nodoka made their way outside to the limousine and then taken to the airport. They hugged their children goodbye, then boarded Tony's private plane and left on their honeymoon. Kagome and Souta stood there until the aircraft was out of sight. Kagome hugged her little brother and led him back to the limo that was waiting for them to take them back to Stark Tower.
