Todoroki came out of the hospital, yawning despite the night's events. Kirishima was waiting for him out front, sitting cross-legged on top of a small three-foot decorative stone wall.

"How're things out here?" asked Todoroki, walking over and standing next to the wall giving the area a quick scan.

"Quiet, apart from the shadow at Eri's. What was that all about anyway?" Asked Kirishima, stretching and hopping off the wall.

"Apparently The Hunter paid Eri a visit to talk and drop off a night light, I think. I might have misheard since Dr. Okimi seemed to be ranting to herself and only gave me a quick response." Said Todoroki, still slightly confused over the whole situation.

"A night light?" Asked Kirishima, surprised.

"As I said, I might have misheard, but it is definitely strange. He's more than likely a sociopath, he exhibits all the traits of one, but takes the time to visit a child in a hospital? I expected someone like him to be out there hunting down villains." Said Todoroki, shaking his head.

"Well maybe he's friendlier than we give him credit for," said Kirishima, flashing his sharktooth grin. "Anyways, heard from Bakugo?"

"Not recently, but we should definitely call and let him know who he is dealing with if he doesn't know already." Said Todoroki, pulling out his small radio and clicking the button.

The moment he did though, the horrible sound of static came over. He clicked off the radio, and looked up to Kirishima, a feeling of dread starting to come over him.

"Try yours."

Kirishima tried his, but with the same result. Now starting to get seriously worried, Todoroki flipped his radio to wide-range. Fortunately, there was no static and he wasted no time in speaking.

"This is Shoto Todoroki, can anyone hear me?" he asked into the silence.

There was a pause before a familiar voice came back over the radio

"This is Hawks, what's up?"

"Myself, Kirishima, and Bakugo were on an assignment together to guard the hospital. We got a sighting of The Hunter leaving the hospital and Bakugo went in pursuit but we've lost all contact with him. Signs indicate he is being jammed." Said Todoroki quickly.

"Last known heading?" asked Hawks.

"North, towards the indust-" Todoroki stopped talking when they heard the distant noise of artillery, or in this case, Bakugo firing off some serious explosions in the distance.

"Well that's as definitive an answer as anything, you guys sit tight. I'll get some nearby patrols to swing by there and back him up, then I'll pass the word to Nezu and we'll go from there." Said Hawks, cutting communications.

"Well, at least we know where he is now." Said Kirishima a wry smile coming to his lips.

"Judging by the sounds, it looks like he's figured out who it is he was pursuing." Said Todoroki, coking his head slightly to listen.

They took a minute to just listen to the distant sounds of explosions, before Todoroki looked away, his mouth opening to say something when all hell broke loose.

One moment they were standing in front of the hospital alone, the next there was a ripple in the air, like water, and the next moment a group of eight black armored individuals materialized in front of them.

No one moved, both sides too shocked to do more than stare and blink. Then one of the black-armored figured lifted a hand. Whatever it was he intended to do never happened. Reacting by pure instinct, Todoroki sent a cascading wall of ice into the attackers, slamming them to the ground, and freezing them in place.

Then something hit Todoroki from behind, wrapping around his entire body and bore him to the ground. He hit the ground with a grunt, rolling over he looked and saw more black-armored figures had appeared behind them. One had a hand extended in front of him and shot a black net at Kirishima. Except Kirishima had already hardened, he simply flexed and the net and simply tore into pieces. Then he ran at the group, shrugging off more of their attacks as he charged into the group. Before long the 1 vs 8 fight devolved into a melee of confusion and violence.

Todoroki meanwhile tried to free himself by burning the net, but his fire didn't want to come out. He willed ice and fire both, but nothing happened. Then he realized what he had taken to be a net, was in fact some kind of webbing. A webbing that could negate quirks apparently.

He tried to reach the knife that had become part of his standard kit, but the webbing had very little give to it. Then he saw another ripple in the air and another group of black-clad figures materialized. They took one look at the brawl and six of them went to go help their comrades who were losing. The last two approached Todoroki.

They took a moment to examine him before one of them pulled out some kind of injector. Todoroki felt a surge of panic and he tried to will his quirk into being but to no avail. The figure placed the injector to his neck and pressed the button. Todoroki felt a wave of dizziness and he blacked out for a few seconds, when he regained consciousness he saw the figure removing the injector and placing it into some kind of container, and passing it to the other.

Todoroki looked over to see how Kirishima was doing and his eyes widened. Kirishima was surrounded by eight assailants, with four either dead or unconscious scattered about. What was shocking though was that Kirishima had blood pouring out of every orifice and looked like he was suffering from a severe concussion. He was staggering around, swinging at his opponents, even in his addled state he was extremely dangerous. Todoroki had no idea how they had managed to make him bleed, Kirishima had taken a simultaneous beating from three High-End Nomu all spec'd for physical combat. He was practically invincible, but now it was clear that he wasn't going last much longer.

The fight went on for another minute or two, Kirishima managing to down two with wild swings of his arms, but they eventually bore him to the ground. There was a struggle before there was an explosion of dirt, Todoroki feeling the rumble from whatever quirk was used. Then everything went still, the assailants got off the unmoving form of Kirishima who has covered in even more blood. One of the assailants though fell over as they tried to stand. The others pulled him up and dragged him to one side, where he sat, shaking as if he was hooked up to some kind of vibration machine.

The two how had come over to Todoroki went over to Kirishima and they used the same kind of injector on him, placing it in the same container when they were done. The leader went to the individual sitting down, talked for a bit before helping them up and walking them over to the one who was holding the container with the injectors. The Leader gave them some final orders and they started to head out, away from the hospital. Then the leader went over to the small group by the entrance and they talked for a minute before they nodded and stormed the hospital.

"And now, we are left with you." Said the leader, walking over to Todoroki. His voice clearly being altered by his helmet.

"Really helpful that the both of you decided to be in the exact spot where most of us would be warping in. But I'm afraid its time we sa-" he cut off when his head suddenly fell off and a burst of blood went everywhere. The now headless corpse toppledto the side.

Todoroki blinked as a living shadow was revealed to be standing behind him, then the shadow split in the center, and Tokoyami was revealed with both hand claws. With a swipe of his claws, he cut the webbing down the middle, giving Todoroki enough leeway to start ripping it off, his quirk coming back as he did so.

"What has happened here?" Asked Tokoyami, helping to free him.

"Villains from Zeus warped in, right in front of us. I took care of those, but I was hit by this webbing from behind. It disabled my quirk and I didn't have the raw strength to tear through it like Kirishima." Todoroki said, finally freeing himself.

"We got to get Kirishima inside, you go on ahead and take care of the villains who went in. We can't let them get to Eri. I'll do my best with Kirishima." Continued Todoroki.

Tokoyami nodded and in a swirl of shadow, he was flying into the hospital. Todoroki ran over to Kirishima and checked him over. He was alive, but it was clear he was suffering from some serious internal injuries. So Todoroki lifted him up on a bed of ice, secured him in place, and then guided it through the doors like a gurney. He saw panicked nurses and civilians running and screaming. He ignored the chaos and grabbed a passing nurse by the arm.

"Hey! My friend needs help, the villains got him and he's suffering from internal injuries. Where is someone who can help?" He asked the frantic-looking nurse.

"I don't know! Everything is in chaos! Villains stormed the hospital from the roof and the backdoor! It's all we can do to keep people held up in their rooms!" Said the nurse, babbling out the words.

"He needs help! He's a hero and he might die otherwise!" Yelled Todoroki, the panic in the air starting to wear on his own nerves.

"Take down the hallway to and take a left, that will take you to the emergency operating rooms by the ambulance entrance. I'll try and find someone who can help." Said the nurse, starting to get a hold of herself.

Todoroki thanked the nurse and took Kirishima to where he had been directed. He slid Kirishima onto a table and then left to go help track down the villains. As he exited he saw the nurse and two others jogging down the hallway. They brushed past Todoroki and went straight to Kirishima. He had done all he could for Kirishima, now he had his own job to do.

Ahmya cursed as she dove into cover, narrowly avoiding the orb of purple fire that splatted onto the concrete of where she had standing moments before. What the fire was, she had no idea, but the blasted villain lobbed them at her and her squad like beach ball artillery fire. It had the consistency of slime, and it melted whatever it touched. The villain had also coated himself in the stuff, making their bullets hit the slime and then melt. It was starting to drive her crazy.

"Daichi, we can't waste any more time on this punk! Blow him up!" She yelled into her mic over the noise of combat raging all over.

"Got it! Just give me five!" Daichi yelled back.

She and the rest of her squad popped out from their cover, sending a hail of bullets at the villain. They didn't do anything of course, but it distracted him from noticing Daichi, who had loaded his grenade launcher and was taking aim.

There was a shunting noise, and a half-second later the villain exploded into a shower of purple slime fire. The squad wasted no time, they dashed out of cover and towards their objective, Mufustafu Police Headquarters. Insurgents had warped in just outside the building and stormed it. Casualties had already ensued, but Naomosa had apparently been warned moments before the attack by Nezu. He had hit the alert for the building and most of the personnel on the ground floor had managed to arm themselves and active the barricades. Unfortunately, the ground floor had been taken and now the remaining personnel was stuck on the second floor.

Ahmya and another QSU squad had been tasked with neutralizing the enemy forces and securing the station. Fortunately, the QSU headquarters had not been fully built yet, so the different squads were operating out of nearby hero agencies, something the hero's had not been happy about. This had allowed them to deploy across the city fairly quickly, and the insurgents hadn't maintained their advantage for long, though damage and casualties had already occurred.

Ahmya and her squad got to the last corner before the police station came into view and they slowed. Ahmya's point man took out a periscope and poked it around the corner, after looking for several seconds he put it away.

"We got five outside, they've erected crude barricades and seemed to be well-armed. No clues as to their quirks, or how many might be inside," he said.

Ahmya didn't like the idea of a frontal assault, so she shot a message to their tactical agent Maria.

"We got 5 five outside, barricaded and no obvious quirk signs, any other ways in?" she asked.

There was a brief pause, then a voice answered back, "You got a side door for trash removal, but it'll probably be watched. Beta Squad is on the scene as well, they have positioned themselves a few buildings ahead on the other side of the street."

"Tell them to lay down some suppressing fire, just enough to convince them that they are under a real threat. We will use that as cover as we break in via the side door." Said Ahmya.

"Roger, relaying instructions."

There was another brief pause then Maria came on the line again. "Start moving along the alleyways starting with the closest one behind you, keep going as straight as you can for about eight buildings then cut left. You should come out on the street facing the pathway to the door."

"Roger, moving out." Said Ahmya.

Her squad turned around and started back down the road towards the alleyway. Shortly after turning into it, they heard the sound of Beta Squad opening fire on the entrance. They jogged through the alleyways, scaring several animals before they turned left and eventually came out on the street again. Just ahead, across the street, they could see the door they were looking for.

Ahmya gave the area a look, then scanned it with her cybernetic eye. When she saw no indications of stealthed villains so she gave the signal to make the dash across. They blitzed across the distance as fast as possible, keeping their eyes peeled for anyone. Fortunately, they made it across with little difficulty.

"A hero just showed up at the front, he's hanging back but his presence seems to have riled up the villains. Go now if you're in position." Came Maria's voice over the comms.

Ahmya signaled to break in the door and her point man Asa smashed it in with his quirk-enhanced leg muscles. While there was no one to greet them, Ahmya was sure someone heard the door being broken. They filed into the corridor quickly, making their way towards the front. Asa poked his head around an upcoming corner for a brief second, checking for targets. When the concrete of the corner was blown apart, they got their answer.

"Gas it!" Barked Ahmya.

Daichi pulled out a canister grenade and tossed it down the hallway. There was a small explosion, a flash of light, and then the unmistakable sound of highly compressed gas being expelled. The following cry of agony as the person or persons on the other side were blinded and subsequently gassed filled the air.

Asa, now crouched by the corner, swung out and opened fire on the insurgents. There were screams and then silence. Asa motioned for the squad to follow and they continued down the hallways, ignoring the gas, the blood slick tiles, and the three fresh bodies.

When they got to the final hallway leading the double doors that opened up to the main entrance, Daichi pulled out his grenade launcher again. Hechanged out the ammo in three of the barrels, then fired one round into the door, blowing it off its hinges. Then he fired three more times into the entrance area itself. A combination of billowing acrid black smoke, tear gas, and shrapnel rounds tore through the area.

Activating their suits infrared sensors, they stormed the area, just as Beta squad and the hero did likewise upon seeing the flank take place. They saw insurgents scatted about, some writhing on the floor, others coughing, and still more were behind cover. Ahmya and her squad found their cover and started picking off the insurgents one by one. Some of them proved to be a handful, as they had some pretty lethal quirks, but between a hero and two QSU squads, they were taken out quickly.

The hard part was flushing out the insurgents holed up in the back offices, apparently, that's where the actually competent people had been at when they had breached the entrance. They discovered that when the hero took a sniper round through the left lung, through one of the wooden doors during the fighting. She wasn't sure of the hero's name, but she think it might have been Onima; she vaguely recalled Izuku mentioning him years ago.

The fighting lasted another ten minutes, with Beta squad losing a member and two of Ahmya's own squad members being injured. The insurgents in the back had definite military training, likely some of Zeus's personal mercenary soldiers. Either way, they had managed to secure the station. Ahmya had Maria contact Naomasa, then they headed towards the staircase.

Ahmya and her remaining squad members went up the steps, stopping at the barricade that had been erected at the door leading to the open office spaces. She could already see several people starting to remove the barricade.

"Any injured?" she asked as they approached.

"Nothing serious, just minor is all, and they've already been treated. Thanks for the assistance!" Said one of the officers.

"You're welcome now let's get you all out of there." Said Ahmya and motioned for her squadmates to help her remove the barrier from their side.

Tsuyu lept down the hallways, passing several other teachers as she rushed to get her combat gear. Nezu had activated the school's alarm system, the alarms blaring out of every speaker at a specified rhythm. Nezu had developed multiple alarm signals to signify multiple different scenarios, and right now the third-worst one was blaring out across the school's loudspeaker system. The school was under attack from villain infiltrators, and that all students should seek immediate shelter and lock down the building they were in until the alarm ended.

Tsuyu burst through the doors of her office and started putting on her suit. She'd been at the teacher's lounge at the time of the alarm, talking with Aizawa about the student's recent exams. Neither of them had been wearing their gear as there were no classes that day for students, but there was no such thing as a day off for teachers. Few of the teachers were wearing their suits as no one wanted to be wearing them for just grading purposes.

When all her gear was on, Tsuyu opened the window and jumped out. Falling several stories before she hit the ground, her legs absorbing the impact without issue. Then she leaped again, each leap allowing her to cover considerable ground. Nezu had directed the staff to take up positions across the campus, staying in groups of 2-4 and patrol. While the infiltrators may only be limited to the city, he thought the odds were good they would try to attack U.A., if only to cause more chaos. As teachers, their first duty was to see to the security of their charges, and Nezu took that very seriously.

Despite a large chunk of the cities heroes being concentrated at the school, the city was better protected against outside threats than people realized. The heroes and police were charged with dealing with regular criminals and small-time villains, something they had a hard time handling due to the crime rate being abnormally high because of the recent end of the war and money being tight everywhere you went. The QSU typically handled things a bit more high-profile, crime syndicates, powerful gangs, and powerful villains were their specialty.

Despite the suspicion Tsu and most heroes had towards the QSU, mostly due to their more secretive nature, they never disparaged their skills. In the event of an assault on the city, the QSU would be at the front, taking care of logistics and organizing both their own forces and that of the police.

She decided to take a shortcut and leaped into a copse of trees, While leaping across the grounds to her designated rendevous point, Tsu heard the snapping of twigs and underbrush and before she could so much as turn her head, something hit her in the right side mid-leap. She hit the ground and rolled several times before she managed to get to her feet. She looked to her left and saw, something, already bounding toward her. She leaped backward, barely avoiding the creature as it tried to pounce on top of her. She spat a globule of paralytic saliva at it and had the satisfaction of seeing the creature seize up and crumple, unmoving. Then she felt multiple objects grab at her from all over and pulled toward a nearby tree. A shadowy tendril snaked its way across her mouth and stopped her from speaking, while a dozen others bound her to the tree, like a rope. She struggled fruitlessly, but raw strength had never been her strong suit.

"They distracted me with the creature attacking me and then grabbed me when I had disabled it," she thought, the plan was simple but effective.

Several figures emerged from within the shadows of the trees, they approached her and one of them pressed some kind of injector into her neck. There was a spike of intense pain and was followed by a wave of sudden dizziness that made concentrating difficult. As she struggled to stay focused, she saw the creature she had paralyzed begin to move again. It shook itself like a dog and loped over to one of the figures.

When they were done, they put the device into some kind of sealed container, then with a nod from their leader, the person carrying the case flew into the air with leathery wings that sprouted from their back. Then the leader made a gesture with his hand and the rest of the group left, heading toward the school. Only the leader lagged behind, but only long enough to pull out a pistol and put three rounds into her chest. Then the shadow bindings holding her loosened and she fell to the ground. She rolled onto her back, shock and pain from the bullets coursing through her. Her shooter watched carefully as she closed her eyes and stopped moving. Then ran off to avoid encountering any heroes coming to investigate the noise.
