Tsu watched as Ochako vanished into the tunnel, then it closed behind her. She looked to the observation window and saw Takeo inputting commands into his console. She looked back at the sealed tunnel entrance. She didn't know what to make of it all, Ochako had been... different. She couldn't say how, but it had been good to see. The best she could describe it would be hope, Ochako had found some kind of hope and confidence that didn't feel forced.

She shook her head, not confidence, but determination. A resoluteness to do what needed to be done. She recalled the last person who held that same combination of hope and determination. Endeavor had looked and held himself the same way just before he had died. She prayed that it wasn't a sign of what was to come.

Ochako emerged from the darkness of the tunnel behind the main school building and into the early night sky. The full moon shone down, illuminating the land below her and she could make things out easily. She saw lights flashing across the campus, and distant noise. Then her HUD finished booting up and basic information started to display itself surreptitiously along one side. The towers seemed to have been booted up and her suit was tapped into the data stream. Markers showed up, marking the location of friendlies based on their phone's location or other identifying markers on them.

"Still didn't help with identifying enemies," Ochako thought with some annoyance.

She looked past the school to the city. The dust cloud had mostly dissipated and she could see flashes of light at the crater which were accompanied by occasional booms. She knew people were fighting Yo Shindo, and she only hoped that she would arrive in time to save some of them.

She blasted forward, heading to the ground she pulled up at the last second and skimmed across the ground, dragging a hand along it. As she zipped across the ground, she sent a constant pulse through it. Stretching as far as she could go, she started to drag pieces of rubble along with her. Slabs of sidewalk and road, pieces of buildings, and other pieces of rubble were dragged into the air and followed behind her.

She passed the gyms and headed toward the walls and the city proper. As she flew over the walls and the city came into view, she heard an ear-splitting crack echo behind her. She stopped and the sound and echo continued for some kind as the roar died down. She looked back to the school, torn between helping at the school and stopping Yo Shindo.

She didn't have much experience with the noise but sounded chillingly like something breaking the sound barrier. She knew none of the teachers could do something like that, few people could. The only option was some powerful foe was on the grounds.

She wrestled with her emotions for a moment before turning away and blasting toward Yo Shindo. As strong as that unknown foe may be, Yo Shindo was on another level entirely. Sinking the entire city wasn't outside the realm of possibility if he unleashed his full power. She clenched her teeth in anger as she started to fly over the top of small buildings and residential areas.

As she got to the city proper, she dove to the street level and did the same along the streets as she did at the school. The rubble of the city as she passed joined her increasing large train of rubble and debris. If she passed by a hero fighting someone or an isolated enemy, she had one of the rubble pieces splatter them as she passed.

Eventually, she was dragging parts of entire buildings that had collapsed. The sky was filled with rubble like some kind of localized asteroid field. As she got closer to the crater, she heard an earth-shattering noise and a giant plume of dust and dirt fly into the air on the opposite side of the crater.

She put on more speed and then she cleared the final barrier in front of her and she saw what had been happening in the crater.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS HE?!" Screamed out Ryuku as she let loose another torrent of fire.

The glowing figure jumped sideways, avoiding the blast, and then sent a shockwave at her again. Ryuku rolled sideways in the air, avoiding the shockwave as it shot past her and eventually dissipated into the air.

"I don't know but he looks like an angel, you think Zeus managed to make his own?" Nejire Hado screamed back in response, as she let loose another blast.

The enemy spun around to face her attack and punched it. The shockwave ripped her blast apart and clipped her side. She felt the arm and ribs along that side shatter and she spun out of control. She managed to collide with her other side into the earth but she'd been grounded.

She righted herself just in time to see the glowing figure falling toward her, arm pulled back ready to turn her into a fine paste. She sent a blast toward him but she was having trouble focusing her sight and she knew she'd miss. Then a bolt of electricity crashed into his side and he went hurtling sideways.

He crashed into the earth and was immediately bombarded by two more bolts and then the air was distorted as a supermassive sound wave smashed into him. The earth cracked under the intense sound wave and he was pushed deeper into the earth. Then a massive torrent of fire washed over the area. Surviving members of the QSU launched explosives into the miniature crater. The surviving defenders desperately threw whatever they could at the figure.

"ENOUGH!" The figure screamed.

A huge shockwave rippled outward, covering most of the crater it threw everyone backward and Ryuku was knocked out of the air. Then another shockwave shot out and turned the surviving QSU, who had had to get closer than anyone, into pulp.

Ryuku managed to get up from the ground and sent a weak burst of flame at the enemy. A shockwave shot out from the mini crater, dissipating the fire and smashing into Ryuku. She went rolling along the ground and didn't get up again. Silence fell over the crater and the burning figure walked out of the mini-crater and pool of fire.

Yo Shindo looked down at himself, at his burning suit, and vibrated the fire out. He had had to put more effort into the fight than he expected. Ryuku and her awakened quirk had been particularly vexing. Not to mention that bitch Nejire Hado, whose quirk had actually managed to bruise him when he'd taken a blast point blank. Then there was the chaff, the miscellaneous heroes, and QSU who'd just been minor nuisances.

He took a few steps, intending to head to the other side of the crater and wipe out the city once and for all. He'd only managed a few steps when the biggest sound wave yet crashed over him. He clapped his hands to his head and grit his teeth as the wave managed to work through his inherent defenses. He looked up and saw Jirou, one of the 1A lot walking toward him. Bloody, bruised, and limping but still determined. A look of pure hate and anger on her face as she continued to blast an ever increasingly strong sound wave at him.

Her defiance caused his rage to surge and he stood up as he sent a shockwave out of one leg toward her. The power of the sounds rose to a crescendo and he thought his eardrums would burst, but he grabbed her arms and pointed them upward, freeing him from the sound waves' worst effects. Then he kneed her in the stomach and the sound wave cut off and she spat up a large amount of blood. He let go of her arms and before she could fall to the ground he grabbed her by the neck and lifted her into the air.

"You're the last one left. I'll admit, that the last attack was strong. In other circumstances, it might have been enough to deal some real lasting damage." He said through pants.

"But we're in two different worlds." He said.

Then he activated his quirk and her entire body blurred as his quirk vibrated her insides until they were liquefied. When he stopped, she hung limp and blood dribbled out of every orifice. He tossed her body aside where it made a horrifying squelching noise.

He heard a scream and turned in time to be met with a massive bolt of electricity. Due to his surprise, he was lifted off his feet and thrown a couple of meters backward onto the ground. A vein in his temple pulsed with renewed fury.

"WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO KILL YOU LITTLE FUCKS!" He screamed out in rage.

A glowing yellow figure lept on top of him, startling him.

"I'LL TURN US BOTH TO ASH!" He screamed before he exploded into a ball of electricity, point blank.

Ochako came over the ridge and saw the crater littered with scorch marks and bodies. Then she had to shield her eyes as a giant explosion of electricity burst at the far end of the crater. The giant ball of electricity grew larger, shooting bolts all over the place. One bolt shot into the sky and a bolt of lighting answered. It shot down through the ball of electricity and there was an ear-splitting booming crack. Then the ball of electricity dissipated.

Ochako blinked, trying to clear her vision. When the afterimages faded from her vision she shook her head one last time then she shot toward where the electricity had been. She touched down onto a burning, and smoking landscape. Something moved near the center and then something flew out toward her. She caught it reflexively and looked down.

It was a blackened corpse that still smoked. The corpse was in bad shape, already the outer extremities had been completely burnt away and some flakes of ash fell to the ground. She put a hand on the corpse's exposed chest and let her suit scan it. A moment later it identified the corpse.

DENKI KAMINARI

"Well, well. I didn't expect to see you alive!" Came Yo Shindo's voice.

Ochako lowered Denki's body to the ground and she pushed her grief and anger aside, they would only weaken her at this moment. There would be time enough for grief when it was all over.

"I guess I'll... have to..." Yo Shindo started to say before trailing off.

Ochako felt the same thing he did.

OFA and AFO reacted to each other's presence. Yo Shindo started flailing from side to side as if he was trying to push some unseen force away from him.

"Brother! How nice of you to come to me! I thought you and your power were forever lost to me! As much as you get in my way, I had hoped you still lived!" Yo Shindo said in a strange voice.

Ochako let the first user speak through her. "Brother, our time is over. It's time to move on," he said.

"Hahaha... No... I am NOT dead yet! I WILL CONSUME THIS VESSEL AND I WILL BE REBORN! I WILL NOT DIE! I WILL BECOME IMMORTAL!" AFO maniacally laughed in Yo Shindo's voice.

"Goodbye brother." the first user said, before fading.

Ochako and Yo Shindo staggered.

"I... don't know what you did... but you won't do it again!" Yo Shindo said through pants, standing up straight.

"I'll free you Yo Shindo, even if that means killing you," Ochako promised, also standing up straight.

Yo Shindo screamed in anger and punched the air, sending a shockwave at her. Ochako shot upwards, avoiding the attack and forcing Yo Shindo to chase after her. Ochako had always been the fastest of the angels, and she asserted her advantage. She forced Yo Shindo to chase her high into the air where his shockwaves wouldn't reach the city.

As she flew she clamped down on the mass of debris and rubble she had brought with her. A cacophony of noise could be heard as a chunk of the smaller pieces were condensed into smaller, denser, shapes. When she reached the height she desired she looked down and saw Yo Shindo coming to her.

With a mental command, the condensed pieces of rubble flew at Yo Shindo from all sides. He noticed in plenty of time and started avoiding the pieces while throwing shockwaves in every direction. Very rapidly her supply of ammunition dwindled as the shockwaves broke the pieces into fragments along with her grip on the objects.

Still, her attack wasn't useless. He couldn't avoid all the objects and several made satisfying hits. Not enough to knock him out of the air or do serious damage, but the damage from his previous fight, however small, would start to accumulate. At the very least he would have had to expel a great deal of energy while Ochako was still fresh and healthy.

As her supply ran out she used the larger pieces. Massive pieces of building started hurtling through the air toward the area around Yo Shindo. He managed to avoid and break several pieces but eventually, he was slammed by a piece from behind.

This was the moment she had been waiting for, she forced every piece she had left to head directly at Yo Shindo. Smaller pieces slammed into him before three larger pieces crashed into each other with Yo Shindo at the center. She continued to smash chunk after chunk into the rapidly growing mass and she started pushing the pieces into Yo Shindo. If she was lucky and his suit had been damaged enough, then she might just crush him.

When the mass started to vibrate and her control on the pieces started to slip she knew it wouldn't be so lucky. The mass vibrated more and more and then exploded. pieces went flying and she lost complete control so she let the pieces drop.

As the remaining mass fell apart she shot towards its center, feet first. As she closed in, Yo Shindo came into view, and she smiled as some luck came to her. He was facing away from her, and so she smashed full tilt into his back and continued onward taking him with her. He tried to turn around, but couldn't. Yo Shindo didn't even have time to prepare as she spiked her speed to levels she never could have managed before attaining OFA.

They hit the ground, causing another small tremor and a massive explosion of dirt and debris was sent into the air. Ochako wasted no time, she leaped off Yo Shindo and grabbed him. She spun around and then threw him into the air. Then she blasted after him, sending a fist into him and causing him to fly even higher. She put on more speed and actually passed him as he flailed through the air. Then she arrested her forward movement and sent herself backward at the same speed. She started spinning, building more speed and as she started to draw level with Yo Shindo, she stuck one leg out and ceased her spin. Her leg smashed into his chest in a devastating heel drop kick. His entire forward momentum ceased and he hurtled back down into the earth causing, an equally large explosion and tremor as the previous impact.

She shot downward and smashed into Yo Shindo in one final devastating impact. She stepped off his body and Yo Shindo groaned, still alive she saw. Not that it was surprising, the suits and the people using them were intended to survive Shigarak after all. Yo Shindo's suit was heavily damaged, cracks were spread along it and his helmet hung half off his face. She reached down and grabbed the half of the helmet that remained and pinning him to the ground with a foot ripped the rest of the helmet off. Then reached down further and at around a point just below his heart she reached into a crack and with muscle-wrenching effort pull ripped a piece off the suit. She tossed it aside and did the same to a point located at the center of his hips, then she flipped him over and did the same where his tailbone was located. She repeated this process at several more key points. Whenever he tried to stop her, she slammed him several times to the ground until he stopped resisting.

Eventually, a pile of pieces littered the ground next to them and she stepped away from him. She was panting heavily, having expended an enormous amount of power. She could feel the reserve of OFA's power had drastically been depleted, but that was just how more force she had needed to use. Every piece she had ripped out was a place where she suspected a black box containing AFO's DNA might be located. Aside from damaging the suit which by itself would weaken Yo Shindo's ability to withstand attack, removing the black boxes would have a direct impact on the amount he could use.

Yo Shindo groaned again and opened his eyes, he immediately coughed up blood and shuddered. Ochako felt OFA stir within her and she reached down and grabbed Yo Shindo's head in both hands and then everything went black.

She opened her eyes to a pitch-black void. She immediately saw the first user standing above something, but he was in the way. She moved closer and saw that it was two people. Yo Shindo was lying on the ground, eyes closed and AFO was in front of him. Black tendrils had wrapped themselves around Yo Shindo, connecting him to AFO, who was kneeling before his younger brother.

He was a handsome man, and she immediately knew how this man had become so powerful. Good looks, one of the most powerful quirks ever seen, and a knack for manipulating people, with a keen mind it was no wonder he had become so powerful in an early quirk world.

"Brother, it's over." the first user said.

"No... NO! It's not over! I... I can't die! I'm immortal! This is just a temporary setback! I'll return, you can't kill me!" AFO raged, then he lunged at his younger brother.

Ochako tried to help but she couldn't move, and she realized she never could. It had been the first user that had moved her. AFO wrapped his hands around his brother's neck and squeezed with all he had. The first user didn't seem perturbed by this, and he calmly put his hands on his brothers. A rainbow fire materialized on his hands and quickly engulfed AFO's hands and arms and began to creep over him but slowed the more it consumed him.

"Ha... HAHAHAHAHAHA! You see! I'm winning! I'm pushing you back!" AFO yelled joyously as he indeed started to push the fire back.

"You are strong, you always were. Stronger than me even." the first user said, but his neutral expression broke into a smile.

"But unlike you, I am not alone." He said.

Then around the first user, the other users manifested. One by one until they formed a circle around AFO. One by one they held their palms out toward AFO and the fire started to creep back over AFO.

"No... no... NOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHhhhhhhhhhh..." AFO screamed as the fire slowly consumed him fully, and his voice faded until only the echo of his death remained.

Then the first user's outline started to fade, and like a flame, his outline started to burn itself out.

He turned to Ochako and bowed.

"Thank you," he said and after more than a hundred years, the spirit of the first user of OFA finally passed.

One by one, the others started to fade as well until only All Might remained.

"So... is that it? It's all over?" Ochako asked now that the first user was no longer preventing her from acting.

"Yes. AFO is finally gone." All Might said quietly.

"And... you?" she asked.

"I won't be going quite yet. You still have something left to do, don't you?" All Might asked.

"Zeus..." Ochako said.

All Might nodded. "I will stay with you and keep the fire alive until the night is over. You've done well Uraraka! Now, let's end this once and for all!" All Might said brightly, giving her a big thumbs up.

Ochako couldn't help but laugh and even as tears fell from her face, the darkness resolved itself back into reality and she was kneeling overtop Yo Shindo.

She stepped back from Yo Shindo and took a deep breath. She felt that OFA had changed, but it still burned bright inside her.

Yo Shindo suddenly gasped and his eyes burst open. He took deep rattling breaths, and he stared into the starry sky above them.

"I... I'm dying..." He said tiredly.

"...yes," Ochako said in response. She suddenly felt tired and took a seat on the ground next to him.

There was silence for a time, punctuated by rattling breaths.

"I... felt abandoned." he suddenly said.

"I'm sorry. I should have visited." Ochako said, feeling a massive wave of guilt overtake her.

"I don't think it would have helped. The voice told me everything I wanted to hear. After killing Shigaraki, I wasn't satisfied, the vengeance left behind a hole that I needed to be filled. The people who I fought and bled for put me away and tried to forget about me. My fellow heroes had abandoned and betrayed me, what better replacement than them and all they stood for..." Yo Shindo said bitterly.

Ochako didn't say anything, just curled inward.

"I still hate them, but..." he said trailing off.

"Heroes and the society they made contributed to the mess we're in now. Because of the Hero Associations' silent stranglehold over everything, the rot festered, unnoticed and all it took was someone like Shigaraki to show it to the world and let it spread," he said.

"The utopian dream we all lived in has been shattered, and it won't ever return..." He finished trailing off, his breathing becoming shallow. Until at last, it stopped.

Ochako took a deep breath and stood up. Once more she pushed it all aside to deal with later. There was still more work to be done.

In the distance, back in the city proper, what could only be described as the light from a second sun appeared, then after a few seconds, it faded.

She looked toward the light and did a little stretch. There was still a lot of work to be done, and she launched herself into the air and set a course to where the distant sun had appeared.
