Bill was glad he was left on the boat alone with the only pistol they had. He knew whatever Eddie and Kaede had planned was extremely dangerous. Nana had taken his camera with a fresh memory chip and batteries. They had left in the late afternoon and it was getting dark now. Although outwardly they bore bright clothes on, they had put dark clothes on underneath.

He was hoping they survived.

.

The first stop was the small police station near the cliffs. Kaede walked in, snapped the men's necks and turned their radios off. They shed their light colored clothes here, stuffing them in a drawer at the desk. She left to see Venom up on the side of the cliff helping Nana up. She raised a vector and pulled herself up.

Staying above the cameras and sensors, they climbed along the cliffs, Nana holding the Camera slung behind her on it's strap. While Kaede and Nana found cracks and protrusions to cling their mind arms to, Venom just stuck his sticky tentacle on the rock face to move. It took a while to get around the island. Seeing a cave opening, Venom climbed up and looked in. Rails peeked out of the opening. Inside was a naked woman bound to a frame. He motioned Kaede and Nana in.

The woman's head was down. Kaede lifted her head by the hair. "Wake up!" she hissed.

Kawa couldn't see who it was in the dark. "I know nothing," she croaked out. "Kill me."

Venom cut her down, Kaede laid her on the floor.

"Leave her, we'll get her on the way back," Venom intoned.

Kawa opened up her eyes. Seeing the huge black beast who's big teeth reflected the dim light from outside, she whispered, "Kill me."

"No, I eat bad guys."

She then noted the forms slipped away. A brief smile came to her lips. Whatever that was, she was sure those cruel men were in for a horrible night.

Following the tunnel they came to a room where a few guards were sitting around table. Kaede chopped their heads off with a single swipe. Venom opened one of the doors to the side. Inside, another woman was tied naked to a frame. She had red marks all over her as well as bite marks. Venom cut her down and held her up as he scooped up the clothes in the room.

The woman groaned. Seeing she was being held up by something big and black, she came awake instantly. Upon turning her head to see Venom's face, she sucked in a breath to scream.

Black goo covered her mouth. The thing that held her growled, "No screaming or I eat you."

Wide eyed, she nodded vigorously.

Venom set her down. "Get dressed then come out." He turned and left leaving the door wide open. From the lamp light in the outer room, Carla saw the headless men on the floor and the young woman Nana holding a video camera. She also saw the big black monster scoop up a head and crunch it down.

Kaede then came into her view. With no hat, Carla could see the horns on their heads.

Kaede said, "No time to stand and stare, get dressed and get out here!"

Carla did as she said. She had no clue who'd come to rescue her, but she wasn't going to question it.

Venom then brought out a dazed and frightened looking Catherine. Kaede told them, "We have a way in and out back there, end of the tunnel. There's a woman hurt on the floor. Help her if you can. GO!"

Catherine pushed Carla towards the tunnel. "Go!" she said in a squeak.

"What the hell was that thing?" Carla cried as they hurried through the tunnel.

"I don't know but I highly suggest we don't piss it off!"

They found Kawa lying on the floor. Sitting her up, Catherine got her slip on Kawa to cover her up some.

Carla went to the hole and looked down. "It's a vertical drop to the water bout a hundred feet down. Same above. There's nothing to climb with. We can't leave this way. How'd they get in here?"

.

Kaede and Venom quickly found there were two ways people were dressed. Either they had guard uniforms on, or they were naked. Behind them as they went though the place killing, Nana watched for anyone they missed. One frightened man peeked up from where he was hiding. Nana punched him hard with a vector, splattering his brains on the wall behind him.

Opening every room they came to, Kaede slashed apart sleeping men and in one room a man who was having sex with a woman. They both died with looks of shock on their faces.

The underground complex was like a gigantic ant farm. A few times, Kaede had Nana stay back at an intersection so they didn't get lost. Finding a room full of drugs, Kaede noted the now dead guard smoked. She took his lighter, shredded a crate to use as kindling and started a fire in between some other crates before she moved on.

Finding a vertical ladder down, Venom heard someone down there. He pulled rock from the wall and threw it down the shaft. Another one he threw down got caught on the ladder to partially crumple it, so he filled the shaft with more rock. A guard ran around the corner looking behind him, wide eyed. Venom grabbed him by the arms. Before he could scream, Venom bit his head off and ate it.

Killing and searching, Kaede found an opening over the inlet that was most likely a watch point. From here she could also see the cave boats went into. A light shown from inside. She was close enough to reach out and grab some rock over the entrance. A boat emerged, Kaede pulled the rock loose. The two ton boulder landed on the boat, smashing it and sinking it. She pulled more rock down from the cliffs above to close the entrance completely.

"Kaede, where are you?"

Satisfied that entrance was blocked, Kaede hurried to the sound of the voice. "Here!"

"Smoke's filling this place, time to go or get stoned out of your mind!"

Kaede went back to the last intersection to find Venom and Nana. They hurried up the tunnel. Coming to a door Nana shut it. Venom staggered back and retracted. Eddie fell on his ass.

"That was a rush," he mumbled.

Kaede flung dead bodies here in front of the door to block it, then busted up a couple chairs and a table. She shredded some wood into kindling, then lit it.

"Kaede, why burn things like that?" Nana asked.

"To use up the oxygen in these tunnels to kill anyone we missed. Go!" she said firmly. Nana got Eddie standing up and led him back to the tunnel they'd come in at.

Coming to the opening where the three women were, Eddie beamed a smile and pointed.
"Hey, you're Catherine, right?"

Nana frowned at Catherine.

"Eddie, concentrate!" Kaede snapped. "We have to get them out of here. Venom needs to carry them back."

Eddie eyed her with a silly grin. "Oh. Venom's really tired. I think he's getting hungry again."

"He's always hungry, we need to get out of here and get back to the boat before daybreak," Kaede scolded.

"Yeah, yeah we do," Eddie agreed, He then asked, "You can't carry anyone?"

"I can carry Catherine," Nana said in monotone as she eyed the woman.

"And drop her?" Kaede asked eyeing Nana.

Nana shrugged. "It could happen."

"Venom!" Kaede snapped. "We need you to carry these women out!"

"Aww OK," Eddie said. He was covered by Venom. "Any more heads I can eat?"

We get these women to safety, THEN you can eat!" Kaede growled.

Venom grumbled. Kneeling down he said, "Get on."

They picked up Kawa and put her on the middle of his back. A pair of tentacle appeared to wrap her in place. Carla and Catherine stared.

"Come on, we have to move!" Kaede prodded and pushed Carla on one side of Kawa. Getting wrapped in tentacles, she gasped, wide eyed. Kaede then pushed Catherine onto Kawa's other side and she was wrapped in place. Catherine then saw Kaede go out the entrance and disappear. Nana followed her.

When Venom left the girls and swung around and stuck himself to the cliff to face noting but the ocean far below.

"Oh god," Carla squeaked out.

Catherine looked, but didn't see any climbing ropes or aides as Venom moved along. Ahead of him, Kaede and Nana looked like they were floating in the air close to the cliff.

She gritted her teeth, praying she wasn't going to fall.

"Venom, can't you go any faster?" Kaede asked.

"You go faster. I'm carrying three people!"

"I can carry one," Nana offered.

"No Nana, concentrate on when we get back, we may need to fight." Kaede told her.

"I'll just watch."

For Carla and Catherine it was a long trip hanging in the air, supported by nothing beside this monster. It seemed to take forever. When he dropped down just past a fence all three screamed, sure he'd lost his grip and they were going to die. He released them, they tumbled onto sand.

Catherine watched Venom walk into a police station. There was a yelp, then crunching sounds, followed by a burp. Eddie walked out, now in brighter clothes. He jerked a thumb behind him. "Let's get everyone dressed.

"You can all walk, get up," Kaede told them and offered a hand to get them on their feet.

Eddie came over and said, "Pretend everyone we meet is a bad guy until we're on the boat and you're below."

Nana moved to help Kawa walk. Seeing Catherine moving towards Eddie, Nana quickly let go of her and grabbed Catherine's arm. "I'll help you," she stated. Kawa fell down. Kaede got her back up.

"Nana, why did you do that?" Kaede asked, scowling at her.

Nana frowned at Catherine. "She hugged Eddie! She's not getting near him again!"

"Guys! We have to get to the boat. Quiet down and let's go!" Eddie said in a hiss.

Kaede helped Kawa into the clothes she's been wearing. A little loose, but she was covered decently now. Nana got her own clothes on.

With Kaede helping Kawa, Nana helping Catherine and Eddie helping Carla, they got moving, watching out for anyone around.

Moving alley to alley, then along a retaining wall, Carla eyed Eddie and quietly asked, "What's that thing you turn into?"

"His name's Venom. He's my symbiote."

"Like you and he depend on each other?"

"Yup, exactly like that."

"Where'd he come from?"

"Same as me, New York."

They did well right down to the docks. There, a night watchman was patrolling the docks. Kaede stared at him and whacked him in the back of the head with an invisible arm. he fell limp.

Hurrying past him, Eddie asked, "Didn't kill him, did you?"

"Only knocked out. He'll recover." Kaede replied.

They got up on the boat. Bill appeared from the plot house. "Everything go OK?" he asked.

Nana handed him his camera. "Sorry, Nana forgot to turn it on."

"No biggie," Eddie told her. "Everyone, get below."

Nana helped Catherine down the stairs and dumped her in a chair in the small sitting room. "Stay there," she said, then guided Eddie into the bedroom.

Kaede took Kawa into her bedroom and made her lie down. "Stay here, you're hurt."

Carla was still stunned by their rescue. When Kaede came out of her room, she asked, "I'm grateful you got us out of there, but, what are you people?"

"Someone not to toy with. It's best you forget about us." Kaede stated.

Catherine let out a dry chuckle. "There is no way I can forget what we saw tonight."

Kaede eyed her. "Then tell no one. You do not want us angry at you."

"That's for sure," Catherine agreed.

"And stay down here where no one will see you," Kaede added and went up to the lounge.

Carla shook her head. "Like anyone would believe what we saw."

.

Eddie and Bill went off to their interview with the Mayor. Kaede brought breakfast down for their saved women. Catherine and Carla were able to eat fine, though Carla looked beat up. Kawa was in terrible shape though. Kaede used the first aide kit they had on board. There was enough bandage material, spray disinfectant and even aspirin in it to help sooth some of Kawa's aches.

Being able to sit up in bed and eat, Kawa said, "I understand better now."

"What's that hon?"

"I sent a message to my boss about Eddie being here. He replied to stay away from him and stop searching by order of the Emperor. Somehow those drug dealers intercepted my message. I got us captured and both my team members were killed. If you hadn't showed up, I'm sure all of us would have been killed."

"All those men are dead now. Be happy you survived." Kaede replied. "You're going back to Japan with us. I salvaged some or your clothes and your passports that were to be incinerated. I'll bring them down for you. Once we leave port, you can call your boss and let him know what happened."

"Thank you," Kawa said meekly. "Your group works for the Emperor?"

"Not usually," Kaede said with a smirk. "This was a one time thing, and Venom was hungry to eat bad guys. He got his fill last night. We killed a lot of bad guys."

.

While the women who'd been captured were taken care of, down in the lower caves where the Mayor's boats came in and left with goods, he called up the ladder well. "Can you get through?"

A voice called down, "No, a big rock folded the ladder and made a solid block! We're going to need something to clear the way, like saws and something to chip this rock up!"

The Mayor cursed. He didn't know what caused the rock to fall, but it had closed up the water entry too when rock rained down on the boat leaving. Down here, they had nothing but product to be moved. Not only wasn't he going to be able to take the interview with Eddie Brock, they had no way out of here, and gasoline fumes from the boat's gas tank rupturing was stinking up the air as the gas leaked out and covered the water in here with them.

Eventually if they couldn't get out of here, the air was going to go bad. It was a slow death unless they could find a way out.

.

The next day, early afternoon, Eddie returned with Bill.

"Did you get a good interview?" Nana asked.

"He didn't show," Eddie told her as he hugged her. "We talked to a policeman and an airport executive, so it wasn't a wasted trip."

"Oh. Well the ones we saved are doing better," Nana said brightly. "Kaede used the first aide kit to fix up Kawa and Carla. I asked Catherine if she needed some first Aide. She said she's fine."

Since the job was done, they all figured they better leave. Kaede went up to the Marina Office to let them know Eddie had his interviews and they would be leaving in the morning. The clerk scheduled the pilot and dock workers to unhook them and get them back out of the harbor starting at eight on the morning. Kaede also got the docking and service fees she wasn't going to use, back in cash.

Due to the wreck they made of those cavern, Eddie thought for sure someone would try something against their boat. No one did. No one even came close to it all night.

In the morning the pilot arrived on time with the dock crew. They removed the service, and the brow. Kaede and Nana pushed the boat gently out into the passage between the docks. The pilot drove them out and with hearty waves with the crew, he left in the skiff.

Under way now and away from that island, Kaede assisted Kawa up to the pilot house to use the phone. Kaede relayed where they were going to make port, and approximately when. Once she was done, Kaede called Kouta And let him know when they would be home.

For sleeping arrangements, Kawa needed a bed to herself. Catherine and Carla doubled up in Bill's room. Kaede and Bill slept on couches in the lounge.

Now out on the water, Nana was back in her bikini and straw hat again, driving the boat from up on the bridge. She wanted sun block, so Eddie brought some up to put on her. So he could get a good coat on her, she took her top off and enjoyed him gently rubbing it on. Even after he covered her whole body, she wanted him to keep caressing her. He also reminded her she had school work to finish. After some good Eddie attention, Nana went down to the pilot house to do her work while she monitored their progress.

Three days out and Kawa was feeling well enough to eat up in the lounge with everyone else. Nana did place Catherine across the table from Eddie and a couple seats down. Catherine didn't mind, she knew well now to stay clear of Eddie or face Nana's wrath.

Moving north with the ocean current, they got back to Kamakura late on the fifth day. Coming in, Eddie thought Kouta and maybe a police officer would be meeting them.

There was a pack of people on the dock. Besides Kouta and several suited men, an ambulance was at the head of the dock and two stretchers with paramedics were on the dock with the gaggle.

Driving in, Nana waved happily, seeing Kouta and Mayu. From the deck below, Kaede called up to her.

"NANA, put your bra back on!"

Oops.

There were no dedicated dock workers here, so after Nana got stopped, Eddie tossed the aft line over which Kouta tied up for him. On the bow, Kaede jumped over to tie the boat to the cleat, then jumped back over to tighten up the line. The dock and the main deck of the boat were close enough that they didn't need a brow.

Kaede floated Kawa over onto a stretcher, then Carla. She then went over to hug Kouta. Nana leaped over to give Kouta, then Mayu a hug.

Mayu frowned at Nana. "Nana, you shouldn't be topless where people can see! When you waved EVERYONE saw your boobies waving too!"

Nana winced. "Sorry."

Men from the American Embassy wanted to talk to Catherine, Sakira was there to talk to Eddie and Kaede. Both wanted 'private' discussion. Kaede let Catherine and the American talk in the lounge, She and Eddie met Sakira on the back deck. Nana went with Kouta and Mayu to wait for Kaede Bill and Eddie.

Sakira only got the expense card back from Kaede and promised their pay was coming Monday morning. Catherine was taking longer in the lounge with the Embassy man. Not wanting them to take all day, Kaede rapped on the door casing to the lounge. "Catherine, we have to lock up the boat. Get your clothes and let's go."

Catherine got up. "Yes, sorry," To the man, she said, "I can write up a whole report at the Embassy. Just know, it's hard to believe." She went down to grab her things.

The Embassy man stood up and bowed to Kaede. "I want to thank you for getting our agents out of harm's way."

Kaede shrugged. "We were already there to take care of the problem. We couldn't leave them there."

"Is there any way you could assist us in the future?" he asked.

"Talk to Eddie Brock. I've been trying hard to stop killing people."

He stared at her. "How many have you killed?" he asked.

Kaede shrugged. "Many. Lost count."

Catherine came up with the bag Nana had given her. She and the man left. Kaede made sure she had the keys and locked the boat up. She just stepped onto the dock when Nana came running. "My school books!" Nana cried.

Kaede rolled her eyes with a huff. "Let's go get them."

.

It was Sunday. Nana still checked all her school work to be sure she'd studied everything and did the assignments and pre made quizzes she'd been given. While Nana made sure her work was complete, Kaede coaxed Eddie and Bill to contribute to Kouta's effort of paying for the Inn. She got them to commit 50,000 yen of their pay each. Nana agreed and added another pack of 100,000 yen they'd found on her boat.

When Kaede presented their commitment to Kouta, his jaw dropped. "Three hundred thousand yen?" he asked. "Where did you get that much money?"

"We're each keeping 26,000, " Kaede told him.

"But … Your pay wasn't THAT much!" Kouta said.

Kaede shrugged. "The bay guys are all dead. They didn't need it any more."

Seeing Kouta gape at her, she added, "Kouta, this way instead of supporting the bad guys, that money will be supporting you and our family," She kissed him and said, "Accept it."

Kouta felt a bit dazed, but accepted his loving wife was doing her best for them.

.

Monday morning came. To keep the transactions simple, Kaede had Nana give Bill, Eddie and herself 25,000 yen in cash, then all the paychecks they had were signed and Kouta handed them over to Yuka's mother for to help pay for the Maple Inn.

Returning to school, Nana handed all her work to each Teacher. She had actually done and entire month's work of work, putting her ahead of schedule. After lunch, she got called to see the guidance counselor.

"Ahio, Sempai," Nana greeted cheerfully as she went in.

"Welcome back, Kikumura. How was your trip?" Suzu asked.

"A lot of it was fun," Nana beamed. She then frowned a bit. "Some of it wasn't fun at all. I can't really say anything about the not fun parts. Nana had to help Venom and Eddie said we can't talk about it."

"So, what was fun?" Suzu asked.

"Driving Nana's boat!" Nana cheered. "It even had the auto pilot thing so all Nana had to do was keep checking on it to be sure we were on course and on the track we put in. Out on the ocean, all you can see is water, so we had to go by the coordinates to know where we were. Nana was able to school work while driving. Lying out on the front deck was nice and relaxing too! And Eddie and Nana had their own bedroom. Even helping Kaede cook was fun, though the table cloth for the table was a bit sticky so the tableware didn't move around if we hit big waves."

Suzu raise an eyebrow. "You had bedrooms? How big is this boat?"

"Sixty … some feet. Nana forgets exactly. Eddie got it for Nana and named it Nana's Joy, and it is! Nana had fun getting there and back."

"You didn't have to stop at night?"

"Oh no! the fuel tank is big, and it has bathrooms on it and a big fresh water tank. It can make it's own fresh water too. It took us six days to get there and about that to get back."

"It sounds like a yacht," Suzu said.

"That's what the blonde lady called it." Nana agreed. "But the blonde lady hugged Eddie, so Nana kicked her off. No one hugs Eddie like that except for Nana!"

Suzu grinned. "I heard you got all your work done. Good job Nana. And now you can drive your own boat. Can Eddie afford the payments on it?"

Nana cast her a blank look. "Payments?"

"To pay for that yacht?"

"Oh no, it's Nana's. Well, Eddie owns it but he got it for … things we had to do for the Imperial guy. This time we got paid in yen. We used most of it to help Kouta pay for the Maple Inn," Nana explained.

"You're doing government jobs?"

"We are, but Nana can't talk about those. Oh! If we do more, Nana is going to help Mayu pay for a restaurant. Nana's helping Mayu on Market research to find out all the ones here and what the area doesn't have, or has little of. Then we have to pick a good location."

"Good for you, Nana, I am happy you are thinking hard about your business and not just rushing into it. I feel you will do well in the future. Is there anything you'd like to ask me?"

Nana thought for a moment, then asked, "Does Counselor Sempai want to come to Nana and Eddie's wedding when we get married after Nana graduates?"

"I would like that," Suzu said with a smile. "Be sure to tell me when."

"Nana will!"

"Have a good day, Nana."

"Have a good day, Sempai!" Nana replied with a wave.

Not even graduated yet and Nana was already planning a business and had work for the Government. Her own yacht too. Suzu was sure Nana was going to do very well out in the world.
