Hi guys it's been a long-awaited chapter but here is CHAPTER 22 i hope you all like it.

Chapter Twenty Two

Third POV

Uma looked around in disgust, so this was where the royal rogues were living.

She seemed to have been living better than them these past months. Of course, she had been in Poseidon Court with her Grandfather. Even the maid chambers in the Beast castle were better than this dump.

It seemed that living in Auradon had turned her a little more prissy; it seemed.

Rolling her eyes, she sat down on the couch, resting her feet on the table. Well, at least the pillows were soft. Almost as comfortable as the royal family servant's quarters.

Uma felt her irritation grow as the stupid prince and the conniving princess's eyes were on her.

"Do you need something?" she couldn't help but snarl as she turned to look at them, "Or are you just going to continue to stare"

The prissy princess let out a fake laugh, "We just had a few questions for you that's all."

Uma rolled her eyes, deciding to humor them, "What kind of questions?"

"About magic."

Uma perked up but tried to seem uninteresting, "What kind of magic?"

She, after all, had learned at a young age never to show weakness.

The princess pulled out a familiar journal, "Maleficient's magic."

Umas eyes widen, "So you weren't standing there just for fun." she smirked before attempting to grab the journal.

"Not until you explain why you want Mal to get her memory back?"

Uma could have chosen to ignore her, But where would be the fun in that.

"Why does it matter?"

Audrey smiled, "Because how else will I know how far you're willing to go?"

Uma couldn't help but give her a grin before leaning towards her, "This whole act is cute. But your no villain, princess." Umma let out a fake gasp, "Oops I forgot disowned princess."

Uma smiled when she saw Audrey's breath hitch before she gave a Uma a fake smile as if she wasn't bothered by the remark but her fingers curling showed a different sign, it looked like she was trying to hold serlsef back as if she was trying to control herself. Uma almost wanted to laugh, what could this prissy disowned princess ever do to her, the daughter of Ursula and great grand daughter of the God of the Sea's. She was nothing more than child play.

Chad had been quiet the whole time silently observing both girls. He bit his lower lip looking between both girls, he wondered if their partnership with Uma would last. And the other part of him wanted everything to go away. But just a little longer, he reminded himself, just a little bit longer and you're done, at least that's what Audrey said.

Audrey gave her a fake perky smile, curling her fingers into a fist, just how much longer was she going to have to deal with the stupid sea witch? She had thought the witch would be cruel, vicious even but it seemed that even with her growing up with the villains the new girl knew nothing, she was just arrogant. But she would get her back for the comment, sooner or later.

But Audrey wouldn't exactly blame it was, after all, no news that Audrey had been disowned.

It happened a couple of days after the Halloween accident.

They had been lucky to escape the guards and were driving to a secret hideout that they had yet to tell Uma where it was. Uma was sitting in the back, watching Chad fidget with his fingers as he drove.

"Stop with the tapping," Audrey growled, running her fingers through her hair, "it's getting annoying!"

"Sorry" he mumbled looking once more at the empty road, "Do you- Do you think she's dead?"

"Maleficent?" Audrey scoffed, "She better be. If not you can run the sword right through her again. and finish the job."

Uma snickered, "Here's a hint: use iron, it's a faes weakness"

Andrey turned to look at her, "And you know this how?"

"I know Mal."

"It seems like you do." Audrey turned back to admire her nails, "Hopefully this will serve as a distraction to keep them away from us and protect Mal a little bit better while we are getting everything ready."

"But won't that makes it harder for us to get to Mal," Chad asked nervously

Uma laughed, "Not necessarily. After all, heroes go to extreme lengths only for the villain to get past them." She looked at Audrey smirking, "It happened with Aurora, it happened with Ariel, and it happened to every other princess out there" Uma leaned back closing her eyes, "which is why it will work with Mal"

the car was silent.

"Oh," Uma gave a knowing smirk, "Don't tell me you didn't know? Mal is a princess, through her mother and her father" She leaned over to the front seats, "Heres some evil advice, always know your opponent."

"Mal's mother is Maleficent but just because she proclaimed herself Mistress of Evil doesn't mean-" Uma cut her off

"No, but she is the ruler of the moors. Making her the next in line which makes her a princess." Uma glanced at Chad, "Not to mention her father being a literal god." Uma groaned, "Which sadly makes Mal and I cousins."

"Her father?"

"Oh was it not announced? Well, Mal obviously wouldn't talk about it but her father is Hades."

"Hades?"

"Yes. God of the Underworld. King of the dead, yes that Hades."

Before Audrey could respond Chad shushed her.

"What?"

Chad raised the volume of the radio.

"Hi, yes thank you for joining in today," the reporter said, "We are here to talk about the incident that happened at the Halloween Festival. If you missed it here is a short recap of what has been going on. In the middle of October Kind Benjamin announced the arrival of Maleficent Mistress of all Evil and Hades God of the Underworld when he went to pick up Lady Mal from the mall where she was spending some time with her friends.

King Benjamin since then, has made a statement saying, and I quote, 'Maleficent and Hades will be assisting the capture of Audrey Beauty and Chad Charming. They will also be official members and represents the Isle of the Lost.' So far there have been many people worried that the King has been bewitched but has been debunked by Fairy Godmother.

During the festival, many people got to see a new side of Hades and Maleficent. A bystander had this to say about Maleficent, 'Yeah I saw her as soon I was into the area, I had honestly just gone there to look at the VK kids but then I saw her (Maleficent) I froze but a little girl wearing a dress approached her and asked her to help her prove that the little boy next to her was her prince, her true love. i thought the girl was crazy but Maleficent did just that. It was honestly adorable, she asked a few questions to the little boy to prove his love for her and when she even picked him so he could kiss her sleeping princess. At one point, I was grinning because she told the boy to kiss her on the cheek. But the boy at the last minute moved to kiss her lips, Maleficent proceeded to call him and I quote 'Little bugger'. It was honestly adorable watching both of them interact with children; they (Hades and Maleficent) make such a good pair.'

After that endearing moment, King Ben and Lady Mal walked in and a few minutes later, Maleficent had disappeared. A few people had speculated that Maleficent was using this distraction to steal back her spellbook. But that was not the case.

It turned out that Maleficent had been attacked by who we believe to be Chad Charming and Audrey Beauty. She and Hades appeared to look terrible. She had been wounded and had been carried by Hades. Due to this accident and with Hades's certain that they (Audrey and Chad) were in the festival; everyone was searched while Lady Mal, Hades, and Maleficent disappeared to help treat her wound.

A few people present say they saw Lady Mal let out a scream when she tried to heal her mother's wound. But King Benjamin has yet to make a statement about that situation. In terms of how Maleficent is doing, King Benjamin says that she is fine and is making a quick recovery. The King hopes that this brings awareness to people that Chad Charming and Audrey Beauty are dangerous people and should not be approached if found, instead call the guards."

Chad let out a laugh," Dangerous? Oh my god"

Uma shot him an annoyed look before leaning back, "Gods."

"Don't worry chad you're fine," Audrey said taking one of his hands and placing it on her leg encouraging him to go higher.

"Still here," Uma said interrupting them.

Audrey rolled her eyes, "Later" she told Chad who seemed more relaxed than before.

"So how did Mal lose her memories?" Uma asked trying to act as if she was asking for the weather.

Audrey froze but relaxed knowing the girl had no idea what had been going on the few months, the radio right now was probably the first piece of news she had heard about the whole situation, "Ben sent her to the Isle after Chad and I made it seem like she was committing a crime. It seemed like she had an accident in the Isle, I mean she did abandon everyone there so I'm not surprised."

Uma pursed her lips, that could be a possibility but everyone was so afraid of Maleficent, even if she were a lizard and in the Isle were so people so bold enough to hurt her. Uma dismissed the thought, she would find out soon enough when she went to the Isle herself.

"And why do you want to help her remember Audrey?" Uma asked

"What would help you make her remember?"

"Isn't it obvious do you think Mal would want to stay with Ben after finding out that he was the one who sent her to the Ise where she was" Audrey paused before clearing her throat, "She got hurt over there? I mean Ben didn't even let her explain herself." Audrey turned to look at her, "Anyways, what about you? Why do you want her to know?"

Uma rolled her eyes, letting out a scoff, "Nothing you need to know, princess."

"Well, aren't you a delight" Audrey mumbled before rolling her eyes and turning her attention to the road.

"Now a special message from Ella Charming and Aurora Beauty." Chad and Audrey turned to the radio, Ella spoke first, "Chad, please for whatever reason you have done this, just stop." Ella let out a sob, her voice shaking as she continued, "Enough lives have been lost. Please turn yourself in."

Aurora spoke next. but unlike Ella she spoke with a hard tone, "Audrey, I thought we raised you better than this. For whatever reason, you have chosen to ruin someone's life after Constance's second chances. It does matter, this time you won't get a second chance. If i have to I will personally have it that you pay for what you have done. And I am starting now" Aurora took a breath, before continuing, "As of today November 1st Princess Audrey Beauty has been officially stripped of her titles and has been officially disowned. From this day forward Audrey has no ties to the Beauty family. She is no longer Beauty and has no last name."

Audrey slammed her hand on the radio, turning it off. Clenching her fist.

Chad froze, he hadn't heard his mother's voice in so long, even before the whole plan happened, his parents wanted to see him but he kept blowing them off to be with Audrey. His mother. His sweet mother had always been there for him. His heart clenched, his throat closed at the thought of his mother suffering because of him; crying because of him. Ever since he had started this, he had avoided thinking of his mother. She had always been someone he could talk to, express himself without being judged but he couldn't remember the last time he had talked to her about anything, Everything that happened before the VK's came seemed so far away. Chad looked from the corner of his eyes, Audrey was no longer a princess. A title she worshiped and used for others to worship her; How would she handle this?

Audrey tried to pay no attention to her mother's words.

She had no idea how much she suffered!

How much she lost!

So what if a few lives were lost to get what she wanted. A few fatalities were to be expected to restore the grader good. She was only trying to get what she had rightfully deserved.

What would her mother know?

She was handed everything!

She was never there for her! She was always so busy in the Moors, in the castle, in the town square! Everything was more important than her.

But she finally found someone who loved her, who loved her more than anyone! And that purple-haired bitch took him from her! He was going to make her dream come true but he trayed away from her!

She needs to get to the Isle. Once she got there everything would go according to plan. Everything would go according to plan. She didn't need the title of princess she was going to be queen.

Umas lips curled up into a smile, so much entertainment. So much fun. Who knew being with royals could be this fun?

She had often wondered why Mal and the rest of them like Auradon so much, but she was beginning to see the appeal to it. But part of her wondered what was so bad that they did that the little princess, oops the former little princess got disowned?

oh, what did it matter?

As long as she was able to get her revenge Uma could care less.

"Audrey?" Chad's voice was soft but rang in the silent car.

"Keep driving." That was the only thing she said.

That's how that day had ended and ever since that day Uma had been itching to throw that to her face.

And my gods was it a sight to behold. The only other person she ever got this much pleasure of angering was Mal, such a shame she can't do it now.

It seemed all the princess lessons were paying off for little miss disowned. Her expression which had frozen showed she was shocked some would believe she was too shocked to be angry but her clenched fist and tightened showed otherwise. Uma watched as she took a deep breath to calm down. She released a deep breath slowly as if trying now show that she was trying to control her anger. Uma was amazed to see how quickly her eyes changed, they were narrowed in anger but changed to be softer as if she was smiling with her eyes.

Audrey forced a smile, "Why do you want her to remember?"

Uma threw her head back before contemplating her answer. "It'll be fun. What's the point of trying to ruin her life and destroy everything she created if she can't remember what she did. Ugh, it would be like stealing candy from a baby. It's pathetic." she nodded towards Audrey, "Now what about you?"

Audrey smirked, "Just like I said before, I want her to remember that Ben was the one that sent her to the Isle."

"And you think that's going to be enough" Uma rolled her eyes, "I thought they had 'true love'. Mal would never leave her precious king, just because he sent her to the Isle."

"Sh will. I promise she will" Audrey swore before smirking, "Now we need to find a way to get into the Isle. there is someone there we need. But first, we need to make Mal remember. Any Ideas?"

"Give me the book." Uma scanned the pages trying to find one. "No, not that one. Oh, what about? No, this one would just be terrible. Oh, I found it." she pointed down at the page, "It says for the spell to work, the person needs to be in a place special to them." Uma leaned back, "what kinda bullshit is that? Where would be the 'special place' for Mal?" she looked over to Audrey. "Any ideas blondie?"

"What about the Enchanted Lake?" Chad said, "That's where Ben took Mal for their first date."

Uma smiled, "That will be great since it's enchanted it'll help reinforce the magic to make her remember" she watched Chad's face fall, "what now?"

"the enchanted late washes away any magic."

"Yes but the spell is strong enough that she will start to remember bits and pieces if we continue to give her the potion. the lake might even help make Mal remember. If it doesn't work nothing will happen so it's worth a try." Uma sat up, "the only problem is we don't know when Mal is going to be there. Isn't she stuck in the palace twenty-four, seven? It's going to be impossible."

Audrey turned her attention to her phone, "Not impossible" she smirked, "they are going there tomorrow. Is that enough time for the potion?"

"Only if I work all night?" Uma threw in. Audrey shot her a look, "All start working. And how do you know that they are going tomorrow?"

"I have my sources."

And just like that, she was working on the potion all night.

But she wished she hadn't. Because nowhere in this plan was it said that she would be the one on the floor waiting on the top of the cliff waiting for the happy couple to come. Uma wanted to scream because how the hell did she go from living comfortably to having to stay up all night and having nothing but a stiff couch to sleep on? And as if that wasn't terrible already she was laying down on the cold wet grass shivering on a November morning while disowned princess and her dofus of a prince sat in the car, warm probably fucking each other. Well the last part Uma didn't mind but the warmth she envied.

Her hand was starting to cramp and the happy couple still were the anyone to be seen, maybe she could just bail?

Leave the stupid royals hanging?

Leave them in the hands of the prince beasty and maybe offer them as a present?

Uma rolled her eyes at the thought slamming her fist on the wet moss.

be patient, she reminded herself. She closed her eyes until she heard a sound of a car.

Was it Audrey and Chad? No, it couldn't be them they were not parked in that area no where near.

Then she heard an insufferable giggle.

It sounded like a girl in love and without a care in the world.

Mal.

Finally she was here with her stupid king.

Now you just need to wait until she's alone a small voice remind her, Uma wanted to scream, it seems now the real waiting began.

Uma tapped her fingers against the moss trying not to die of boredom. Three hours, it had been three hours and they where still talking no indication of him leaving or her stealing away from him.

Then Uma heard a buzz.

Uma perked at the sound, it was a call.

"Nope not today" Ben said, "today is all about you and I i wont let anything interrupt."

Uma held back a groan in disappointment, she just needed Mal a few inches from the water, just a few. Was that to much to ask for.

"But what about if it's important?" Mal questioned him,

"Don't worry about"

Uma watched Mal scrunch her nose but continued to eat some strawberries.

Uma let out a sigh, more waiting. She narrowed her eyes glaring at the couple, she did not sign up for this when she joined Audrey and Chad. After this she was going to make sure they listen to her request and make them happen or else… well she might just serve them on a silver platter to Ben.

"Are you getting cold"Una heard him ask Mal, Uma watched as Ben made a move to take of his jacket only to realize he didn't have one, "I'll be right back. Don't more" he said before running out of sight

Maybe towards his car?

Uma didn't really care.

Finally Mal was alone.

She watched Mal shake her head but get up looking around while rubbing her arms.

Come on closer Uma urged holding the vial open.

Mal leaned against the column flinching at the cold wind, Uma did the same shaking but edging closer.

Looking down, Uma noticed a school of fish making her smirk. This could work.

Waving her a hand a bit she urged them to mess with Mal, splashing water at her.

They compiled after all she was the granddaughter of the sea god

Uma watched her jump but this time she slipped, falling into the water.

Who knew she was such a klutz?

Uma shrugged her shoulder easier for her, standing up she tipped the potion vial watching it fall drop by drop into the water.

Her job was done.

She watched for a few seconds Mal float in the water, still surrounded by the school of fish still holding her up. Uma couldn't help but smirk, finally the real fun begins, she wondered when she would get another opportunity to see Mal or even fight her. Well only time would tell.

Deciding it was time to leave, Uma hide behind a tree wiping the twigs and leaves off of herself before taking a step until footsteps stopped her. Looks like things just got interesting.

"Mal!" She heard the king yell.

Now he was going to save her Uma predicted, probably jump into the lake.

Then a loud splash.

Heroes, so predictable.

Oh well it looked like the king had finally arrived to save his lady and that was Uma's cue to leave.

Loking down she rolled her eyes, dropping the bottle in the dirt, it would not longer mean anything to her so why would she need it?

Walking to the car she sneered in disgust watching as Audrey sat on Chad's lap, hoping all they were doing was talking. She watched htem a second, Audrey was running her fingers through his hair, as if to help him calm down or maybe even get his attention since he seemed dazed.

Knocking the on the window she gave them a pointed look telling them to open the door. Chad who had been lost in thought jumped when she knocked like a scared little bunny. Audrey on the hand rolled her eyes sliding back to her own seat looking through her mirror to see if her make up was smudged. Not hearing Uma say anything about the job Uadrey turned to look at her.

"Well how did it go?" AUdrey asked annoyed that she even had to ask the stupid question.

Uma sat inside, thinking for second before responding, "its done"

Audrey smirked, "Great! When will she start to remember?" Turning back to her mirror, motioning Chad to drive.

Uma rolled her eyes, "Depends. It could takes a few hours, days or maybe even weeks"

Audrey turned to look at her, "what? I thought you said she would start to remember once the potion touched her?"

Uma rolled her eyes, this gir clearly had no idea how magic worked, "She will, but only some of her memories. For all of her memories to come back faster, she is going to need a trigger"

"A trigger?" Audrey asked intrigued. "I think-"

Uma held out her hand interrupting the disowned princess, "Ive helped you but you have yet to help me, I need to go the Isle to break a few people out."

Audrey raised an eyebrow, "The Isle?"

"Do you have a problem with the Isle?"

"No. I think that's the perfect place for us to go next" She looked at Chad, "we might even find something to trigger Mal's memories."

Uma tried to hide her excitement, "so when do we leave?"

"As soon as possible" Audrey said, smirking looking towards the road.

It seemed fate was working one her side.

And they did leave as soon as possible.

Umas was almost shocked of how fast they were considering they were on the run and as of now the most wanted.

It had taken about a week to get everything ready for them leave. And on the following week they had set out to the Isle, tricking a few guards, impersonating a few others people and eventually making a spell strong enough for them to leave to the Isle and leave the Isle with magic still running their vehicle.

Audrey and Chad said that they would look around and meet Uma back in a few hours.

Uma almost smiled at the foul smell. She had never thought she was something so princessy but it was good to be home. She had missed the smell and the people.

Her smile almost widened when a man bumped into her. A pick more pocket. oh, the charm of the Isle. She wondered if Audrey and Chad knew where they were headed, they seemed in a hurry, but no matter, she had her business to attended to. She needed to see someone. She pulled the cloak trying to be inconspicuous as walked into her mother's shop, she needed to him. she pulled the hood of the cloak further down trying to hide her excitement. Even the smell of dead fish couldn't dampen her mood. She took a seat in the back. He always came a bit after four when she worked there.

Would he still be there?

Would they still be there?

Did they get a new captain? she would murder them if they did.

She almost screamed as he walked in. She felt so unlike herself. he was there. It had been almost a year since she last saw them, maybe even more but they still looked the same. Uma almost wanted to cry. She looked around for the perfect opportunity.

she bit her lip impatiently.

right now? No. he's talking to someone.

Right now? No. they are both separated.

Right- No he's eating.

How about- No. they are will other people.

She waited an hour.

On the way to the ship she thought, that would be a perfect place to ambush them, they wouldn't expect it.

they wouldn't expect her.

she watched them for another hour. until she saw them make their way out of the doors. she followed close behind them, leaving enough distance to not attract attention. At least she thought she had. She had watched them make a turn around a corner which she was going to do when a sword was placed next to her throat, stopping her from moving. the tip of another sword found its way on her back stopping her.

"Who the bloody hell are you? And why are you following us?" the person moved to make themselves visible. With one hand they twirled a hook around, "I won't ask again."

Uma almost laughed, "Well is that any way to treat your captain, first mate?" she drooped the hood of the cloak, "Now can you both drop your swords, they are too close." they listened to her words, though it seemed more like a reflex. as if they hadn't process who she was.

She smiled at the dumbfounded looks, they seemed too shocked to realize what she was doing for them.

"Let's go, we don't have all day to leave the Isle. I don't know about you guys but I value freedom much more than a barrier." Uma rolled her eyes, "Now let's go, the disowned princess and her puppy won't wait all day you know." she attempted to reach for their hands ready to pull them in the direction of the car.

"wait disowned princess and puppy?" Gil said questioning if he heard right.

Umma nodded, rolling her eyes with a dismissive hand wave, "yeah Don't worry Audrey and Chad aren't threats, after all, we have swords and magic."

"Wait Audrey and Chad?" Gil and Harry shared looks. Taking a step back.

"what the hell is wrong with you guys? let's go" Uma took a step towards them reaching for their hands before they moved them, "okay seriously guys we don't have a lot of time and I don't have time for these games. This is our chance to leave this hell hole. "

"Audrey and Chad?" Harry finally spoke. his voice was deeper than she remembered. she had missed his voice.

Uma rolled her eyes, "Yes Audrey and Chad. did you lose your hearing while I was gone? and before you ask again yes Audrey and chad, as in a royal and former royal. I ran into them during the Halloween festival, they are the whole reason I'm in the Isle. And I'm going to get you guys out, so let's go." Uma smiled at them, "I can answer any stupid question in the car when we leave. Now let's go before they leave without us."

Gil and Harry exchanged looks, as if they didn't know if she was telling the truth or pranking them, Harry finally shook his head taking a step back and Gil clenched his fist looking at her in disbelieve.

"What the hell are you doing will them Uma"

Uma's smile dropped at Harry's angry tone.

"What?"
