Compared to the rainy days in London, the sun was always shining bright and warm in Granada. It's Ginny's second day in Granada, but she feels like she's been here for a long time. In a good way.

Yesterday, Ginny and Maddie arrived in Plaza de la Trinidad mid-morning via portkey. It's a small, obscure park behind the Cathedral. Thankfully, there were no muggles in sight when they arrived, but Ginny can feel a hint of magical barrier around the portkey area. Since the hotel by Malfoy's company is not ready for occupancy yet, Ginny and Maddie checked into one of the muggle hotels around the Cathedral. After that, the duo decided to look around the immediate area. The city's old, but it has a certain charm with its narrow streets and cobblestone roads. Most of all, the magical energy in this city is quite strong, especially around the cathedral. She's aware that the city is predominantly muggle, but it seems that magic surrounds the city. After having some lunch at a local restaurant located near Plaza Nueva, a few hundred meters from the cathedral, Ginny and Maddie headed to the wizarding "part" of the city. Although, technically, there's no wizarding area in Granada, she learned that most of the wizards have settled in certain areas of the city.

As they walked towards their destination, they noticed pockets of magic here and there. A spice vendor who sells apothecary goods, a gelato shop with a hidden wizarding menu. But even so, the rest of the city's magic was not as strong as in Calle Zacatin. As soon as they stepped foot into the street, they felt a sudden rush of magic. Just like the rest of the city, people were selling spices, lamps, food, and more. But it seems that the wizarding stalls have special glamour casted around their property that allows solely magical folks to see beyond the muggle storefront. Looking through, Ginny saw bottles and jars of apothecary goods and rows of robes in patterns, to name a few. Basically, wizards were hiding in plain sight. It was brilliant.

The two women continued their traversing through the lively and crowded street, entering stalls here and there to check out both muggle and wizarding goods.

"There seems to be a lot of muggle tourists. I don't understand why this town can be so unpopular among wizards," Ginny remarked as she surveyed the cupcake looking pastry in one of the local confectioneries along the street.

Looking through her notes, Maddie replied, "It seems that the lack of a stable local wizarding governing body in the area has caused a lot of troubles in the last few decades. To deter this problem, the Spanish Ministry does not really permit wizards from entering the town without a special permit of some sorts."

Ginny, who just bought a piece of the pastry, piononos is what it's called, looked at her assistant with questioning eyes.

"I did some research before coming here," Maddie said, feeling her boss' curious stare.

As they finished their stroll through the street and around the main area, the duo headed towards Alhambra. Ginny did a bit of researching of her own before coming to Granada. She learned that Alhambra is the most famous tourist site in the city and rightly so. Alhambra used to be a Moors fortress when the South of Spain was still occupied by the Moors. Particularly, the fortress houses palaces and gardens that boast of architecture, beauty, and grandeur.

One of the things Ginny loves when she's travelling is seeing history in the flesh, and that is what Alhambra is. Ginny and Maddie took their time relishing each monument, building, or gardens they saw. They first went to Alcazaba, which served as a watch tower and prison. In there, there was a view deck with a stunning panoramic view of the city. After that, they went to Generalife. Since it's a summer palace, the palace was more open and the breeze was wafting through the whole complex. They went to the Nasrid Palaces last, which also happens to be the most opulent and most intricate of all the palaces in Alhambra. Here, Ginny and Maddie couldn't help but stare at awe at the architecture and grandiose of the place.

"No wonder the ticket was so expensive," Maddie whispered in awe as she looked everywhere from the floors to the ceilings and to the walls of the palace.

Suffice to say, Ginny and Maddie spent around five hours going around. After they left the complex, completely satisfied with the tour, they had lunch in one of the restaurants selling falafels. After that, they bought gelato from a nearby shop and sat in one of the benches on the side of the road.

"I've been travelling so much, but I still feel like I see something I've never seen before when I go to these new destinations," Ginny said as she took a bite of her gelato cone.

Maddie nodded. "I get what you mean. Each place brings a different charm, so the experience is always different."

Ginny smiled. "That's true." She turned to Maddie. "So, how do you like working for me so far? You've been with me a little over five years now. You must be feeling tired of this job."

Maddie's eyes widened and she sputtered a bit. "I-I I mean…" Maddie coughed and tried to compose herself all the while Ginny smiled at her. "What I mean to say is I'm grateful cause I get to go to places and witness, sometimes experience, the life of a travel photographer."

"But?"

Maddie looked down at her hands that were tightened into fists on her lap. "But, I don't plan to just be an assistant forever." Then, she suddenly looked up at Ginny with a shocked, guilty face. "Not that I mean I don't like being your assistant! I love being your assistant. I think you're giving me way more opportunities than other assistants get. It's not like-" At this point, Maddie was rambling.

Ginny laughed and raised a hand to stop her. "I didn't mean to get you flustered, and quite frankly, with your ambitions, I can't blame you."

Maddie seemed to have calmed down and continued facing Ginny, listening.

"To be perfectly honest, this wasn't my dream. I always thought I was gonna be an auror or a Quidditch player, but never a photojournalist. But now that I'm here, I realized that this is what I want to do for as long as I could. Every now and then, I always think to myself how lucky I was, still am, for having people and opportunities push me to this direction."

Ginny took Maddie's hand. "And I think it's my turn to be that person for you."

Maddie looked at Ginny with questioning eyes. "I don't understand."

Ginny smiled and let go of her hand. "I've been thinking about it a lot, but you've been helping me so much with the writing work and the photography, and I've got to say, you're a wasted talent as my assistant." Ginny looked forward and sat back on the bench. "So I've been thinking of talking with the travel editor about letting you cover a piece for yourself."

Maddie's eyes widened. I'm going to actually write and photograph on my own?

"Of course, I can't guarantee anything. It's still up to the travel editor and the EIC whether they'll approve my request." Ginny looked back at Maddie to see her tearing up, which made her chuckle a bit. "You're already crying when nothing's been decided yet."

Maddie wiped the tears forming in her eyes and tried to bring her breathing back to normal.

"I just didn't think it would be a possibility. I was actually considering quitting next year and trying to go for what I really want to do."

Ginny smiled. "Like I said, nothing's decided yet, but I want to give it a shot cause I think you're ready and you deserve it."

Unable to contain herself, Maddie hugged Ginny. "Thank you. You really are the best boss."

Ginny patted her back lightly. "If you continue buttering me up like that, I might just end up giving you my job myself," she joked.

"I'm sorry, Ginny. I don't know what happened, but I suddenly went down with a fever. I think I may have overexerted myself when we tried Salsa last night," Maddie said apologetically, her voice coarse and coughing over the phone.

"Well, there's nothing we can do about that. Do you need anything?" Ginny asked concerned, but also contemplating.

Cough. Cough. "No, it's okay. I have some potions with me just in case, so I'll be fine. I'll just phone room service if I need food."

Ginny nodded her head. They were supposed to go to the hotel today to check out the area and possibly go around Albaicin, the district with narrow and winding streets, but it seems like she'll be flying solo today.

"Alright. Just send me a patronus if something comes up. Hopefully, nothing does."

Maddie coughed some more. "I'm so sorry, Ginny."

Ginny smiled on the other end. "Just rest. I'll come over when I get back tonight."

They said their goodbyes and put down the receiver. Although Ginny hasn't been doing full-on work yet, she appreciates Maddie's perspective on the places they go to. Well, it's just me, myself, and I.

She decided to go on feet instead of apparating when she realized halfway that the hotel was situated at the top of a hill. When she got there, she was greeted with the view of the city and, on her right, the Alhambra complex can be seen. Gotta give it to Draco Malfoy to find the best location.

As she tried to still her breathing, a Spanish man, around mid-30s, was approaching Ginny.

"Ah, you must be Ms. Weasley." The man extended his hand, which Ginny took to shake. "My name is Lucas Hernandez, and I'm Draco's partner here in Granada. It's nice to meet you."

"Likewise. Ginny Weasley." They let go and immediately Lucas went to Ginny's side and started walking towards the hotel.

"The hotel is still under construction. The foundation and the outside of the building is pretty much done, but the interior as well as the plumbing hasn't been done yet."

Ginny looked at the building. I wonder what the finished product will be.

"From what I heard, you will be reviewing and featuring the hotel in a book. I'm sure Draco or Percy has informed you, but we would like you to do that on your last trip here," Lucas said as they crossed the entrance of the hotel.

Ginny nodded. "Yes, I've been informed, but thank you for reminding me."

Lucas stopped his tracks and turned to Ginny. "Unfortunately, right now, this lobby is the only safe area we can visit, but let me show you the scale model of some of the rooms and amenities."

Lucas guided her to a corner of the lobby where a scale model was placed. For the next 15 minutes, Lucas explained to her the different types of rooms and amenities that will be available for the guests. Every now and then, Ginny would chime in some of her questions to clarify her understanding. After they finished with the scale model, Lucas brought her outside where there was a small gazebo with a table and three chairs in it.

"Would you like anything to drink? Coffee, tea?"

"Do you have some iced coffee?"

Lucas nodded. "Yes, of course. Let me just go to the admin station," and Lucas went towards a rectangular office that looks like a trailer. As she waited, she looked at the view in front of her. Truly spectacular.

A familiar voice interrupted her thoughts. "Fancy seeing you here, Weasley."

Ginny faced the source of the voice and found Draco Malfoy walking towards the gazebo.

"Khakis, interesting," Ginny said with a smirk.

Draco stopped and looked down at his pants before proceeding towards Ginny. "Judging my fashion sense now?"

Ginny gave off a small laugh as Draco sat opposite her. "I just said they were interesting. That hardly passes off as judging."

"If you say so."

And they both lapsed in silence, looking at the view of the city. After a few moments,

"I didn't think I'll see you here during my trip," Ginny said quietly.

Draco nodded. "I needed to make sure that things are going well here especially since you're here."

Ginny smiled. "Have anything to hide that I should expose, Mr. Malfoy?"

"Of course not," Draco scoffed. "Besides, I need to talk with Lucas about the construction. Looking from here, it seems like it's right on schedule, but you never know. Complications arise all the time."

Ginny nodded and once again they lapsed in silence.

A few seconds later, Lucas came out of the rectangular office. As he came closer to the gazebo, his eyebrows raised in surprise.

"Draco! What are you doing here?" Lucas asked in surprise.

Ginny, who was still looking front, sneaked a quick peek at Draco and looked back in front again.

Draco stood up and shook Lucas' hands and gave him a one-armed hug. "I just came by to see how construction is going. Also, if you need anything here."

Realizing he was still holding Ginny's iced coffee, he turned Ginny. "Here's your ice coffee, Ms. Weasley."

Ginny looked towards Lucas and smiled at him. She took the iced coffee and thanked him before resuming her position, gazing at the view.

Lucas turned back his attention to Draco. "You know I would've just called you if there's anything. But, anyway, since you're here, would you mind looking over at some of the plans for interior?"

"Yes, of course. Should we go to your office?"

"It's okay. You should keep Ms. Weasley company while I go grab the plans from the office." With that, Lucas once again went to the rectangular office, leaving her with Draco again.

"Seriously, Draco. Why are you here?" She asked without turning.

Draco also remained staring far ahead. "Like I told you, I'm here to check on the construction. This is my company's project after all."

Ginny let out a humorless laugh. "A person as busy as you can't just send an owl or floo call to ask for an update?"

Draco exhaled. "You know me. I like being hands-on."

Ginny sighed. "Draco, I'm not stupid," she said pointedly.

"And I'm not lying," Draco retorted.

Ginny scoffed, but didn't say anything. Before they can continue their tense conversation, Lucas made his way back to the gazebo.

Upon approach, he noticed that the atmosphere between the two occupants seem tense. Whatever the matter was, Lucas knew not to interfere, so he merely shrug off his curiosity and called out to them.

"Sorry to keep you both waiting! I have the plans now. Shall we take a look?"

Ginny and Draco made their way towards the main road, walking in silence, both in their own thoughts. A minute passed and Draco spoke,

"So, what's your plan now?"

Ginny looked straight ahead, but she replied, "I was just thinking of exploring."

"I can take you around. I know this place like the back of my hand," Draco offered nonchalantly.

Ginny stopped in her tracks and stared at Draco with a steely look in her eyes. "Draco. Answer me truthfully. Why are you really here?"

They reached the end of the street, the main road in front of them.

Draco sighed and ran a hand through his hair. After a few more seconds of silence, Draco decided to reply. "Fine. I wanted to make sure you were okay."

Before she can stop herself, "Why are you making this so bloody complicated?" she said in irritation.

Draco, expecting her irritation, sighed again. "Can I not do that now? I thought we were at least friends."

"Friends don't just apparate to other countries just to check if their friend is okay," Ginny said with gritted teeth.

"Fine. You have a point. But why are you so angry?" Draco asked exasperatedly.

"Because we don't do this, Draco. We never do this."

Draco exhaled deeply. "Fine. Fine. I'm sorry, okay? I just wanted to make sure that the trip is up to par with your standard. You're doing my company and this project a huge service, and, as its CEO and owner, it's my responsibility that our partners are given the utmost care and importance. You can't blame me for just wanting to show you how much we value you. If it bothers you so much that I'm here, then I'll make sure that it's the first and last time I'll check in on you."

Ginny continued to look hard at Draco, but felt her resolve crumble a bit. For some reason, hearing Draco voice out his concern for her, even if it's just as a business partner, made Ginny's heart flutter just a little. Snap out of it.

"You could have sent Percy," her face contorted into a frown, knowing full well how stubborn the man in front of her can be.

Draco sighed and placed his hands on his hips. "He's busy with the Spanish Ministry at the moment, so I took it upon myself to come here. Strangely enough, I'm not as busy as everyone else is."

Although she finds his excuses weak, a part of her feels glad that its Draco, and not her brother, who came to check up on her. This realization seems to deepen her frown even further.

Seeing her expression, Draco straightened up. "Listen," Draco continued, his tone softer. "I know we don't do this-hanging out. But, let me give you a tour. I mean it, I've spent so much time here that I know my way around here. Consider it a token of gratitude. No funny business, I swear."

Ginny stared at Draco for a few more seconds and sighed. "You're not gonna give it up are you?"

Draco flashed a small smile. "I'm not a businessman for nothing."

Ginny's shoulder sagged in defeat. "Fine. As a token of gratitude, I'll accept, but nothing more."

Draco nodded and made a sweeping motion. "After you." And both of them started walking towards Albaicin.

Ginny's head was reeling. How much higher does this fucking go? She thought as Draco and her continued climbing up the slopes of the Albaicin. Honestly, the area was beautiful. The narrow cobblestone streets lined with traditional houses are absolutely charming. However, when the ground started turning into slopes, Ginny found herself breathing harder and cursing louder.

"Draco Malfoy, where the fuck are you taking me? You didn't mention anything about a bloody hike," Ginny said as she dragged her feet one after the other. She just wishes to go back down where the ground was even.

Draco let off a small chuckle. "Just a little bit more and we're there. Do you need a hand?" Draco extended a hand towards Ginny, which she looked at disdainfully.

"Fuck you and fuck this bloody hill. Just get on with it." Draco laughed at Ginny's response and continued trudging up the slope.

Soon, they made it back to leveled ground, but this time, high enough to see a view of the whole of the city, including the Alhambra.

"Welcome to Mirador de San Cristobal, famous for its scenic view of the city," Draco said as he went straight to the edge where a bench was erected.

Ginny, who was finally able to catch her breath, saw the view and her eyes widened in amazement. She found herself being pulled forward by the view that she didn't notice she was standing next to Draco.

Still amazed, "I don't think I'll get used to seeing this," Ginny said in wonder.

Looking at the view tenderly, Draco nodded his head. "Neither can I."

After resting and taking in their own fill of the view, Draco continued showing Ginny around. At the same time, they would talk about work and their lives here and there, which is something they've only done a few times before. When the sun was going down on the horizon, Draco took Ginny to a restaurant in the middle of Albaicin. Just like their meeting about a year ago, they decided to dine alfresco to enjoy the last few rays of sunshine reflecting the top of the hill.

As the waitress left with their order, both of them sat in silence, basking in the warmth and serenity of Granada. Soon, the waitress came back with two glasses and a pitcher of sangria. When she left again, Draco reached forward to take the pitcher.

"Have you had sangria before?" He asked as he poured a decent amount in Ginny's glass.

"No, I don't think I have. This will be a first," she replied as she brought the class closer to her.

"Then I guess you're in for a treat," Draco said as he poured himself a decent amount of sangria before looking at Ginny with his glass clasped on hands.

"Well, I'm sure you're tired from all that climbing and walking around this neighborhood. But, I do hope you had fun, even just a little," he said smiling, Ginny tipping her head to him with a smile too. "Anyway, I don't think I ever got to thank you so thank you and I hope this project will go smoothly and successfully. Cheers!" He said as his glass and Ginny's met in the middle to clink each other before taking a drink from their glasses.

Their food arrived halfway through their first glass, and they both enjoyed a delightful Spanish feast. Throughout the whole meal and well into the night, Ginny and Draco talked, laughed, and drank like old friends. For once, reality was pushed aside, giving them the chance to enjoy each other's company without inhibitions.

Ginny was leading Draco through the corridor where her hotel room was at. Once they reached the door, Ginny took the key from her pocket, while Draco started planting kisses on the side of her neck.

"Patience, Draco," she said, while fumbling with the room key.

When it opened, Ginny entered first, pulling Draco with her, and into a searing kiss.

Unbeknownst to them, a pair of shocked eyes from the opposite corridor stared at the scene in disbelief.

Just like any other time, only the sound of heavy breathing and kisses can be heard. As they walked towards the bed, buttons came flying, Ginny's shirt came of, shoes were kicked off. When the back of Ginny's knees hit the bed, she fell into it, taking Draco with her. Soon, her shorts were coming off and she's working on Draco's belt to loosen and take off his pants.

"Fuck, I hate belts. Why do you even bother to wear them?" Ginny complained in between kisses.

She felt Draco laugh and his lips went to her neck again, making Ginny moan.

"Doesn't it make it more exciting though?" Draco teased as he nibbed on her neck.

"How exactly?" She said breathily, as she successfully pushed his pants down with Draco kicking it off, leaving both of them in their knickers.

They both stopped moving and looked at each other, their chests rising and falling from the sensations they both feel.

"What's up, Draco?" Ginny asked when Draco didn't move or say anything.

Even if he doesn't know it himself, she knows deep down that Draco wants to be serious, if the last time was any indication of that. However, Ginny wasn't sure that's what she wants. Actually, she doesn't really know why she continues this with him.

Before she can have a full-blown conversation with herself, Draco shook his head and leaned down to place a kiss on Ginny's lips. "Nothing." And again another until it became heated again. Soon, their knickers were off and all that's left is a long night of passion.

The next morning, Ginny woke up to sore muscles. Throughout the night, they must have had sex at least three times. Either way, her muscles are sore and it will be difficult to move without wincing.

Ginny turned to see what the time was, but to her surprise, Draco's sleeping figure blocked her sight's access to the clock. Instead of continuing what she was intending to do, she looked at his sleeping face. She doesn't get to see this very often since they always leave as soon as they got their fill. But, last night felt different as much as Ginny didn't want to admit it. They actually spent time together yesterday for the first time. He took her around and explained things to her like a travel guide would. Hell, they even had dinner and drinks last night. It was almost like a date. Almost.

Ginny focused her attention to Draco once again and breathed deeply. Whether she likes it or not, she's drawn to Draco. But, every time she starts thinking about the possibility of an actual relationship, she finds herself recoiling at the thought. It's not like Draco's a bad character. Maybe when they were in still in school, but definitely not in the last few years. He's not bad-looking either. However, truthfully, she doesn't know if she could trust him or herself for that matter. She hasn't dated a lot in the last few years due to her work, but…

"Until when are you gonna stare? Cause it's a tad bit creepy." Draco said sleepily with his eyes still closed, which momentarily stunned Ginny.

"You've been awake this whole time?" Ginny asked quietly.

"Just for a minute or two." He said as he slowly opened his eyes. "Good morning."

Ginny looked back. "Good morning."

"We've never done this before."

Ginny smiled a small smile. "No, we haven't."

She feels it. They're at a crossroads right now. Now, she has to choose. But before she can make her decision, the hotel bell rang, effectively destroying the atmosphere they were in. Ginny wasn't sure whether to be thankful or annoyed.

Ginny stood up from the bed, and quickly grabbed a bathrobe from the bathroom. She tried to compose herself before opening the door. It was Maddie.

"Good morning, Maddie. How are you feeling? I'm sorry I wasn't able to come visit you last night. Are you feeling okay?" Ginny said as she kept the door as closed as possible to keep Maddie from seeing Draco.

Maddie looked at her boss questioningly. "I'm feeling tons better, thanks for asking. Seems like I needed the rest, so you don't have to worry bout that. I just came by to see if you're okay. It's just that we planned to continue touring today at 9am and it's already 10."

Ginny mentally cursed herself. "I'm so sorry. I must've been so tired from yesterday, I seemed to have slept in. Listen, how about we move our plans to the afternoon and let's meet for lunch in the square beside the cathedral?"

Maddie nodded. "Yeah, that sounds good."

"In the mean time, you can explore on your own since you did miss a bit yesterday. It's a beautiful town, so you should definitely see it for yourself," Ginny said with a smile.

"I'll do just that, thank you," Maddie replied. Maddie opened her mouth to say something more, but hesitated. Instead, she said, "Then, I best be on my way. I'll see you at lunch."

Ginny nodded, "I'll see you," and closed the door as Maddie turned towards the elevator.

Ginny took a deep breath as she rested her head on the door for a few seconds before turning back to see Draco in the middle of dressing up.

Trying to keep a straight face, Ginny asked, "Leaving?"

Draco looked up from pulling up his pants and smiled at Ginny. "It seems like I overextended my stay here," he said as he continued buttoning his pants and his shirt.

Ginny walked forward and stopped in front of Draco, which made him stop his movements. She contemplated what to say for a while. What am I doing? Shouldn't I let him leave? But, I also kind of want him to stay. NO. That's not how it's supposed to be. Ginny, get a grip. Despite her internal battle, her mouth formed the words for her.

"Do you want to get food service?"

Draco raised an eyebrow at Ginny. Well, this is new, he thought.

While Draco found it amusing, Ginny was chastising herself mentally. What the hell is wrong with you today? Couldn't even keep your bloody mouth shut?

As she was about to take back what she said, Draco replied, "Sure, why not? What would you like?"

Draco moved towards the small table and picked up the food service menu. Ginny stayed rooted to her spot, trying to process what just happened. It's too late now, she thought and moved towards the table to check the menu with Draco.
