Evelyn's p.o.v.
We walk down the train station, searching for a guy named Hagrid. Apparently, when we see him, we'll now it's him ...whatever the hell that means. Thor keeps turning around, looking at people passing us.
"What's wrong?", I ask.
"Everyone's staring at me.", he informs me.
I smirk, "Probably because you have a red drape attached to an armor, carrying a big hammer."
He frowns, "That's my usual dressing stile."
"On Asgard.", I say as my eyes land on a big, bearded man with long curly hair, holding an umbrella.
"I suppose that's our guy.", I say as we approach him.
He pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket before looking at us, "Evelyn and Thor?"
"You must be Hagrid. Nice to meet you.", I say, offering him my hand.
He takes it and nods.
"I'm Thor."
"Nice to meet ya, name's Hagrid. You must be the Revengers."
I smile a little, "Avengers."
"Ah, yes. Sorry 'bout that, I'm not good with names."
"It's okay.", Thor tells him.
Hagrid looks him up and down before a big smile appears on his face, "Like your style."
Thor smiles proudly and looks at me, "See? There are people who appreciate this."
"Well come on, hurry up. Everyone's expecting you at the castle.", he tells us, motioning his hand for us to follow him.
We turn a few corners and end up in an ally, facing an old brick wall. Hagrid lifts his umbrella and, with the tip of it, gently touches a few red bricks. The bricks starts to move aside, revealing an entrance towards a crowded street.
"Cool.", Thor comments as we step into the magic world.
Looking around, I see people with long dresses, old type suits and big hats, moving around, going in and out of victorian looking buildings. The funny thing is that Thor, with his armor and hammer, fits in more than I do, with my black denim jacked and black ripped jeans.
"So, how do you lie it?", Hagrid asks as we move trough the crowd.
"It's ...different.", I say, still observing and admiring my surroundings.
"I like it here. It's more similar to Asgard.", Thor comments.
"Asgard? Never heard of the place. Is it in America?", Hagrid asks.
"It's not on Earth.", Thor says casually and Hagrid suddenly stops, facing Thor.
"Are you an alien?", he whispers slowly.
"I am Thor. Son of Odin, God of thunder.", Thor says loudly, earning us a few stares.
Hagrid frowns, "You're a God? Like Jesus?"
"Who's Jesus?", Thor asks, looking at me.
"I think we need to hurry.", I say, realizing that this conversation could last forever.
Hagrid looks at me, "Are you a God too?"
I smile, "No, I'm just a regular human ...a muggle, as you would say."
"Oh ...but he's not a muggle?", he asks, pointing at Thor.
"Well, no? I suppose not."
"Oh. Well, there's a lot I don't understand but we don't have time for charring. As I told you, Dumbledore is expecting you. There's a lot going on."
"What actually happened?", I ask as we continue walking.
"A few people saw weird, metal creatures lurking around Hogwarts grounds and Forbidden forest. A student even got injured. Apparently, they shoot something out of their hands."
I frown, "Hands? I never saw a robot shoot something out of their hands."
"Yes, robots! I told you I'm bad with names."
"Have you seen one?", I ask.
He shakes his head, "Nope, not a single one. And I live just next to the forest."
"Is the girl okay?", Thor asks.
"She was in a bad condition but she's recovering well. We are not used to wounds like that.", Hagrid tells him.
"Can imagine.", I comment.
"I really hope you can help us. It's not usual for us to let people from the outside in."
"We will handle the problem, don't worry. Robots are not strangers to us.", I say.
"You are safe with Evie and me.", Thor follows up.
Hagrid smiles, "It's nice to hear some comforting words."
We stop in front of an old looking car.
"Come on, hop in.", Hagrid tells us, unlocking the doors.
I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. I did expect a wild broom ride or something like that.
The ride was long. Hagrid and Thor discussed Asgard and Thor did his best to explain to Hagrid where Asgard is and what kind of a God he is. They seemed to enjoy each others company a lot. I, on the other hand, looked outside the window, admiring people and buildings, nature and weird creatures. It's amazing that this world actually exists. It's like I'm placed in a fantasy book, getting to know a world I never imagined existed.
"So Evie, you're an Avenger?", Hagrid asks, pulling my focus away from the place and onto him.
"Umm, yea.", I say, not wanting to explain my status in S.H.I.E.L.D.
"Dumbledore told us that you protect the Earth and people from anyone that want's harm."
I smile, "You can say so."
"That's really noble of you, to be a protector."
"I suppose."
Finally, we arrive at the castle and it is beautiful. I step out of the car and just stand there for a second, admiring the castle and it's towers. I feel like I'm in a fairytale.
"Come on, hurry up.", Hagrid calls and I rush towards them.
Hagrid opens the big, wooden door and we walk in. Going trough the castle, I see moving pictures that greet us. Some of them look at me weirdly ...they know I don't belong here. I keep my cool and don't ask any questions, even when the kid in me screams for informations and stories behind everything. I want to keep my professional mask on, realizing I'm too exited, given the situation.
We turn around another corer and reach the stairs when Hagrid stops, "They're moving so hold tight."
"Moving staircase?", I ask, stepping on them.
"Not all of the staircase move, some of them do."
As we reach half way, the staircase start to move. My body fills with adrenaline and excitement.
"This is awesome.", Thor says with a big smile.
"There's a lot of things you'll have to learn. We can chat after the meeting, I suppose you have a lot of questions.", Hagrid tells us.
"I know I do.", I say as we reach the floor.
"Up there is Dumbledore's office.", he informs us, pointing towards the spiral staircase.
"I suppose they don't move-", Thor concludes.
Hagrid smiles, "No, they don't."
We climb up and reach a painting.
"Password?", the lady asks.
"Sherbet lemon.", Hagrid speaks and the painting goes up, revealing a door.
He turns around and looks at us, "Ready?"
We both nod and he knocks on the door.
Severus's p.o.v.
"They should've been here already.", Minerva comments, walking around nervously.
"They will be here soon, don't worry."
"How will we protect them? Did you think about that?", she asks, looking at Dumbledore.
"Spells.", Dumbledore responds.
"Protecting spells are not as effective on muggles as they are on us."
"We will mix them with a protecting potion. I'm certain Severus can come up with something."
I look at him, raising my eyebrow, "Excuse me?"
"You are the best poison master I know. Three days is just enough for you to mix something up.", he tells me casually.
"Mix something up? It's not that easy Albus.", I say.
"But I bet it's not a big problem also."
I sigh, not wanting to argue with him.
"I still think this is a bad idea.", Minerva tells him for the fifth time.
"But they are here now so we'll just have to deal with it. And I don't agree. I think this is the best solution we have."
"They're risking their lives."
"They are risking their lives every day. The same way our job is to teach and take care of the students, their job is to put themselves out there."
We hear a knock on the door. They are here.
"Enter."
Hagrid steps in, followed by two figures. One male and one female. The man is dressed in an armor and has mid long blond hair. After him enters the woman. The moment I see her, my heart skips a beat. Actually, the moment I see her eyes. Flashbacks of Lily rush trough my mind. The emerald green eyes capture my brain. They are the same. I blink a few times and move my eyes from hers.
She's tall. A little shorter than I am but still pretty tall for a woman. Her hair is strawberry blond, wavy and goes to her shoulders. She shakes hands with Albus and smiles, revealing her round, red, puffed cheeks. I go back to her eyes, having mixed feelings about them. It's like looking at Lily. Until she speaks.
Quickly enough, I see her standing in front of me, her hand stretched out.
"Evelyn."
Her voice is strong and determent, much stronger that Lilys. I take her palm into mine and feel her silky soft skin. She wraps her fingers around my palm and shakes it two times.
Her handshake is strong. You can feel she has a though personality. She's probably very stubborn and mouthy.
Eyes same as Lilys but worn by such different personality, it gives the emerald green a new shine. Something I never saw in my life.
I push my thoughts aside and focus on the ongoing conversation. This is no time to loose my cool.
