Evelyn's p.o.v.
"If I had known that muggle born kids attend Hogwarts, I would be the first one to tell you the secret mission isn't going to work. Everyone knows about the Avengers and most identities are public. My brother stood up in front of press, admitting being Iron man and every news station reported on that. Not to mention Stark Industries is one of the largest companies in the word so he wasn't an anonymous.", I say, looking at Dumbledore.
"There has to be some kind of solution.", Minerva speaks.
"You can always tell the trust.", Thor tells Albus and he looks at him, "That's not an option. Asking Nick for help was my idea, no one from Ministry of Magic knows what I did. If they somehow find out, robots are not going to be our only problem."
"Can you make something up? Some reason why two Avengers are here." I ask.
"This year, Hogwarts will host the Triwizard tournament. It's a magical contest held between the three largest wizarding schools in Europe. We can say you came to monitor the tournament.", Minerva offers an idea.
"No one is going to believe that a muggle is here to guard a wizarding tournament.", Albus tells her.
"I'm not a muggle.", Thor speaks and we look at him.
"And she's no ordinary muggle, trust me. No Avenger is, that's the whole point of the initiative. Gather extraordinary people with specific sets of skills to defend Earth and do a job that no other human can. No offense but I didn't see any of your people battling in New York or Sokovia. I understand your concerns, I myself had them but I came to realize that it's not needed.", Thor tells them.
"I agree. Tell the students that you wanted to enhance security for the tournament and asked S.H.I.E.L.D. for help. I mean, they already do know about your world.", I say.
"And what's the reason for you teaching Muggle studies?", Minerva asks, looking at me.
"It came with the deal. Besides, we can teach kids about our theology, Thor can talk about Asgard and stuff they have there, make it really interesting. We might live in different places, "worlds", have different rules and use different things in our everyday life but we do live on the same planet. If something happens to it, it affects us all.", I say.
"The Ministry of Magic won't agree to that.", Minerva tells us.
"They have never interfered in Hogwarts and how we do things. I they do it now, I will handle Rufus.", Albus tells her.
"So ...is it a plan?", I ask and he nods.
"Great.", Thor tells.
"When is your first class?", Dumbledore asks.
"Tomorrow at ten."
"I will clarify everything tomorrow at breakfast. Minerva, inform everyone that tomorrows breakfast is obligatory.", he tells her and she nods.
I hear my watch ring and see Tony's name on it.
"Just in time.", I say before answering it, "Hey, you're on speaker.", I say, hinting to him that he doesn't say anything stupid.
"Please tell me you have something useful.", I continue.
"Not yet. Fury ordered us to stay for a few days, try and get some informations form the people here. When I have something, I will call you."
"Thanks Tony, bye."
"My class starts in a few minutes so you'll have to excuse me.", Minerva tells us, standing up and leaving Dumbledore's office.
"Do you have a spare room that no one uses?", Thor asks him.
"Why?" I ask Thor and he smiles at me, "Put something comfortable on."
"Seriously?", I ask as he tosses me the sword.
"Come on. We're free most of the time. We can't do anything until Tony gives us further instructions so why don't we use the spare time to train?"
"Okay.", I say, twirling the sword around.
"Ready?", he asks and I lift my sword, holding in close to my face before I run towards, attaching him.
He easily blocks every one of my swings towards him.
"You have to be faster."
I nod before racing towards him again. The sound of our swords hitting against each other fills the quiet room, interrupted by occasional moans, leaving our mouths in heat of the fight. I swing my sword towards him but he grabs my wrist mid air so I twist my leg around his ankle and lift it a little, making him fall down.
He smiles, "I wasn't prepared for that."
"I do have a few tricks up my sleeve.", I say, breathing fast.
"It's my turn now.", he tells me standing up, lifting his sword and running towards me.
I block his attack but I feel my arm getting shaky due to his strong and firm swings. He swings again and I crouch down, dodging the sword, the blade going just inches above my head. I bend my arm and hit his plexus with my elbow, making him bend over a little as he looses air. I take this opportunity to hit his shoulder with my foot, making him fall down once again. He gets up quickly and I can see the aggression level rise in his eyes. He swings again, this time harder. After few attacks, I struggle to block his sword so when he swings again, I back away but feeling the cold metal tip cutting trough my T-shirt and flesh. As I look down, he slams his leg onto my chest, making me fall on my back, hitting my head on the floor as I land. I do I backflip and stand up, ignoring the cut, grab my sword and attack him. We go back and forth until he hits my chin with the sword handle, making me drop my sword as I moan in pain.
"Are you okay?", he asks and I nod, feeling my eyes water up.
I crunch down, holding my chin, remembering how training with Thor looks like. When I came home from Asgard, I was full of bruises and cuts.
"I think we're done for today.", he tells me and I smile a little, standing up and wiping the tears off.
"Jesus.", I say, finally letting go off my chin.
Thor makes a face, "You're bleeding a little."
"You don't say.", I look at him, whiping the blood with my hand.
"And down.", he tells me, pointing at my chest.
I see a red line just above my boobs but it's just a scratch so I don't stress about it.
"I forgot how strong you are.", I say, picking the sword.
"With some more training, you'll be back in shape."
Thor is the sweetest person in the entire Universe, until you have a sword fight with him. Then he has no mercy. And I like it that way.
We split apart and I walk towards my room. I reach the last staircase and see Severus walk down. I sigh, not wanting another argument with him.
"What happened to you?", he asks frowning, stopping in front of me.
"I was training.", I say, looking at him.
"In a battlefield?"
"Room of the requirement actually."
"Come with me.", he tells, passing me.
"I'm fine.", I object.
"You won't be fine tomorrow. Come."
I sigh but decide to follow him.
We reach his room and I sit in the armchair.
He goes trough his stash and I see a new bottle of whiskey on the round table in front of me.
"Can I have this?", I ask and he turns around so I point towards the bottle.
He raises his eyebrow, "Why?"
"I'm in pain and a drink or two will help."
He sighs but takes a glass, pouring it half full.
I said a drink or two but okay.
He gives me a cloth and pours a drink for himself, sitting beside me.
"Isn't training supposed to be harmless?", he asks, taking a sip.
"Not with Thor. The idea is to recreate a battle ...and I'm okay with that, in the end, he's the one who taught me most of the stuff I know. Well, he and Nat."
"Nat?"
I look at him, "Natasha. One of the Avengers. She taught me how to use a gun and Thor taught me how to use a sword."
"So you didn't know anything before them?", he asks.
"When I was a kid, I trained martial arts and a little sword fighting but my dad was always against it ...against violence. I did know how to use a sword, was good at it but Thor saw my potential and perfected it.", I say, taking a drink as I remember my father.
"And what does your father thing about this now?", he asks.
"I don't know. He's dead."
"What happened?", he asks and I smile, "This is not going to be me opening up to you ...just because I know I'm not going to get the same feedback."
He pick the whiskey bottle up and looks at me, "Who knows. The night is still young."
