Evelyn's p.o.v.
I'm standing in front of a mirror, looking at my face. Massaging my head, I try to push the memory of the guy that almost killed me out of my mind but I can't. He feels so ...familiar. Like I have seen him somewhere but I can't-I can't figure out where. I sigh and walk out of the bathroom. Thor convinced me to go in my room and rest some more. I didn't want to fight him so I just went with the flow. I'm about to take the hospital pajama off and take a long how shower when I hear a knock on my door.
"Who is it?", I ask, even though I already know who's standing behind the closed door.
"Severus.", he answers with his usual uninterested tone.
I open the door and, before I can say anything, he speaks, "Why are you not in the hospital?"
I sigh, "Hospitals are for sick people and I'm not sick."
"You where hurt ...badly."
"And now I'm fine.", I say, leaning against the door.
"It's been two days and you already feel fine?", he asks, frowning.
"Do you wanna come in or are we having this conversation on the hallway?", I ask and he passes by me.
"Does Poppy know you're gone?", he asks as I close the door.
"By now she does.", I say, sitting down.
"Why are you so stubborn?", he asks.
"Why don't you believe me when I say that I feel fine?", I shoot back.
"Because it's not normal that you feel fine after just two days. You almost died. We barely managed to bring you to Poppy before bleeding out."
I chuckle, shaking my head and looking down.
"Is there something funny?"
"I almost die and you, instead of hugging me, lecture me on how I should or shouldn't feel?", I ask, looking at him.
In moment's like this I miss Steve. He would probably go off as well but not before a hug or anything to show me how much he's happy that I'm alive.
"I only want what's the best for you.", he tells slowly.
"I know what's best for me, I'm not a child.", I say, getting angry a little.
He sighs, "Can I at least see the wound?"
"Sure.", I say, taking my shirt off immediately.
The bandages go around my breasts and I start to undo them when he stands up, "I will turn around."
"Off course you will.", I mumble, making sure he can hear me.
When I'm done, I put the T-shirt over my bare boobs, feeling like a fifteen year old kid.
"I'm done.", I say, annoyed.
He turns around and starts inspecting my shoulder area.
"This is unusual.", he tells after some time.
"What exactly?"
"Your wound is almost completely gone.", he tells, frowning.
"I told you I was fine."
"Humans don't heal that fast. Not even wizards do that.", he tells, looking at me.
"Then I'm an alien.", I say and he backs away a little, looking at me.
"What?", I ask, lifting my eyebrow.
"The fact that I'm not all over you, doesn't mean that I don't care. You scared me to death and the worst part is that I can't do anything to prevent this of happening again. And I'm not at peace with that. Your job is putting your head on a log everyday and, I know I have to learn to deal with it but I just don't know how."
"Still, a hug would be nice.", I say and he sighs, wrapping his arms around me.
I smile, inhaling his perfume. I know this is hard for him but he has to understand that it's hard for me too.
"Can I ask you something?"
I nod as we let go.
"Spend the night with me. We'll have dinner, some wine, a conversation. I need that."
"Sure. I just need to take a shower."
"Yes you do.", he comments, walking away.
"Hey!"
Opening the door, he turns around, "They say honesty is the key to a successful relationship."
"You have a little Loki inside of you.", I say, crossing my arms and he smiles, "Don't we all?"

I'm walking towards Severus's room when I see Igor approaching me.
"Good evening.", I say politely, prepared to pass him.
"Ahh, professor Stark. It's nice to see you standing.", he tells me with a smile.
"Yea, quite a fight.", I say.
"Fast recovery runs in the family.", he comments and I frown, "I don't understand."
He smiles, "I remember when your family visited Russia and your mother broke her leg. In three weeks she was standing like nothing happened.", he comments.
"I remember that."
"I know you attended the meeting with Howard. You where such a sweet, curious little girl."
"He wasn't happy about me coming." I say and he laughs, "But he didn't have a choice. He took good care of you."
"Yea, he did.", I say, feeling a bit awkward.
"Well, it's nice to see you alive. Many people will be happy about that. Have a good evening miss Stark."
"You too.", I say, watching him walk away.
"Where you talking to someone?", I hear Severus ask behind me.
"I saw Igor.", I say, turning around.
"Oh. What did he say?"
"Can we talk about that after dinner?", I ask and he nods.
"The weirdest thing when I got here where the moving pictures.", I answer his question, taking a sip of wine.
"Really? That was weird?", he asks and I laugh, "I mean, everything was weird but that was extra weird."
"How much did Nick tell you?"
"Not much. He spoke about the war and told us that wizards need help with robots."
"Considering that you already saw weird stuff, we weren't that big of a surprise."
I smile, "Kind of."
"I remember that we where not pleased by you coming here.", he tells me.
"Can imagine. I hope we do fit into your word ...at least just a little."
"I know you fit into my world.", he tells, looking at me and I smile, "I hope I do."
"So ...what did Igor tell you?", he asks, changing the subject.
"He knows me,", I say, looking at my glass.
"I realized that."
"But I don't know him.", I say, looking at Severus.
"He knows stuff that no one else doesn't. He told me how my mom broke her leg so my dad had to drag me to one of his meetings. We where in Russia then."
"Okay."
"He wasn't on that meeting."
"Are you sure?", he asks and I nod, "Positive."
"In my opinion, he's just messing with your mind."
"Probably, but still. And another thing. The guy that came to the arena ...I know his from somewhere."
"Where from?"
"That's the thing, I don't know. His eyes ...they are so familiar. I feel like I know him but I don't and that so weird. I feel like I'm going crazy.", I say, placing my head between my palms.
"I think you need some sleep.", Severus tells, taking the wine glass from my hands.
"I think you're right.", I say, standing up.
"I placed a T-shirt in the bathroom so you can change.", he tells and I nod, walking away from him.
Changing into an oversized, black shirt that barely passes my knees, I exit the bathroom and see Severus in bed, reading a book. I take my half full whine glass and lay in.
"You're still thinking about the man?", he asks, looking at me.
"Igor.", I say, taking a sip.
"Can you do anything about it?", he asks and I look at him, "Actually, I can."
"What?", he closes his book and sits straight.
"I will need to go back to New York. Pepper needs the Stark industries paperwork and I plan on visiting S.H.I.E.L.D."
"You're going to ask Nick for information?", he asks and I shake my head, "I'm going to hack their data base."
"Are you sure of that?"
"That's the only thing I can do. Maria probably knows something but she's too loyal to Fury. On the other hand, Fury has too much work to be informing me about my dad and his friends."
"Please, get some sleep.", he tells me and i put the wine cup on his night stand.
"Come here.", he tells, inviting me into his embrace.
I tuck myself between his arms and close my eyes, being too tired to even acknowledge his sudden intimacy.
Ivar's p.o.v.
"Ulf has returned.", I hear a soft voice behind me.
"Let him in."
When Ulf came in and the doors closed, I turn around, "Was the mission ...successful?", I ask, walking towards my big, marble table.
He pulls his sword out and places it in front of me. I see dry blood on the blade and focus my eyes on Ulf's content face.
"Is she alive?", I ask and he nods, "That was the deal."
"Are you sure?", I ask, sitting down, my eyes on the blade again.
"Are you doubting my abilities?", he asks and I look at him.
He clears his throat, "I am sure."
"Is she strong?"
"Thor trained her well."
"Did she recognize you?", I ask with hope.
"My appearance did light a flame in her memory. I could see it in her eyes."
"How does ...she look?", I say, clenching my fist as curiosity tales over my brain.
"Like Seena.", he informs me and I close my eyes, my fears becoming reality.
"You can leave now.", I say and he stretches his arm to pick up his sword but I stop him before he can touch it.
"Leave that here.", I say and he nods, walking towards the big wooden door.
I stand up and pick the sword. Seeing her blood seems so ...unreal. After many years, I have a part of her and, I'm not sure that I want to give it back.
"Nostalgia?", I hear Njal ask.
"It's been a long time but I still remember her face clearly. I still remember the feeling she gave me when I held her in my arms."
"Soon, Ivar, soon she will return.", the old man tries to comfort me.
I look at him, "But will she?"
"I feel it, in my old bones. And they are never wrong. Soon, she will realize what she is, who she is and how people around her lied to her. Betrayal is like a knife, cutting us in two, killing the good and leaving revenge."
"Call the wizard. It's time we have a conversation.", I say to Njal and he nods.
