Monty didn't know what exactly was after them, and Roxy only knew that they were loud, heavy, and had a tendency to wreck places they went into. The two decided that it would be best if they stayed quiet and waited.
"So you have no idea what those things could be?" Monty whispers.
"Of course I don't, those things are too large to be a staff bot, plus they don't have feet. And if it was an endo, it wouldn't be tearing up the place!" She hissed back.
A loud crash sounded from just outside the room.
"Well, whatever it is, I hope it goes away soon…" Monty mumbled.
A few more crashes were heard before the footsteps got quieter and more distant.
"Alright, now's our chance, we need to go!" Monty stood up, taking steps from the door, but he stopped when he saw Roxy wasn't moving.
"What are you waiting for? Come on." Monty said.
"...Monty, I… Do you remember what happened?" She said, holding her out in front of her. "We were taken over by… Something. We hunted down that kid."
"Yeah." Monty raised an eyebrow. "So what? We weren't ourselves."
"I know… Did you know Freddy broke free from her control? Just Freddy…"
"Well, good for him I guess, but listen we-" Roxy cut off Monty.
"I wasn't strong enough. I was powerless to stop myself…" Roxy closed her hand into a fist, "I almost hurt a kid Monty, I'm supposed to be the best of the best, but I couldn't even control myself… Like Freddy could…"
Monty walked back over to Roxy, placing his hand on her head. "Look, you… Aren't the only one who got controlled, we know you never wanted to hurt the little fella, none of us did… We never meant to hurt anyone…" Monty thinks back to Evan as he speaks, he is reminded of why he came here.
"Say, you wouldn't happen to know where I could find a Headset would you? I need one, and I was told that they were developing something like that around here." Monty asks, helping Roxy onto her feet.
"I think so, there's one in the security office… Wait, why do you need one? We can't use them, our heads are too big." Roxy questions.
"Well, I'll tell you on the way. We have to make sure we get this thing and get out before that thing finds us." Monty says, looking back towards the door to the rest of the gift shop.
Roxy nods, "Lead the way, I may not be able to see you, but I can hear your lead feet a mile away." She joked.
Monty chuckled, happy to have Roxanne back to her usual self. "Alright, let's roll out."
The two stepped out of the supply room, and Monty helped Roxy navigate the various hazards around the floor. It wasn't long before the two were out at the raceway track again.
"So, where's the office?" Monty asked, looking around. There was no sign of the monster, at least not yet.
"It's over by the cart bay." Roxanne pointed out the fake mountain in the middle of the track.
"Roxy that's…" Monty started, interrupted by Roxy's chuckling. "Made you look, didn't I?"
"You jerk!" Monty shouted, lightly sluggin Roxy in the arm. The two shared a laugh as Monty saw the real cart bay, and the two began walking over to it.
"So, spill. What does a seven foot tall alligator need with a headset made for humans?" Roxy asked.
"It's… Uh…" Monty rubbed the back of his head. "You remember Evan?" He asks.
"The kid you fell on top of? Yeah, what about him?"
"He's… Here." Monty admitted.
Roxy stopped dead in her tracks. "What. Wasn't he like, really hurt? Why would he come back here?"
"I don't know! But he's still sort of injured, and… With these monsters running around, things aren't going well for him right now." Monty Explained, stepping over a pipe. "Watch out, pipe right here."
Roxy continued walking, stepping over the pipe. "...Monty, please tell me you didn't leave him alone with all of these monsters running about."
"Well…" Monty shrugged.
"Monty!" Roxanne snarled.
"Hey, he's not alone! There's this endo, and they're in a safe location anyway." He exclaims.
"Still! Where is he, anyway?" Roxanne asks.
"Parts and service." Monty says. The two reach their objective, and Monty opens up the door to the bay interior.
Roxanne grumbles. "So what does he need a headset for?"
"I don't really know, but the endo said it would help him. Said he could hook it up to something."
"Great, we're trusting the endo." Roxanne huffed, "So is it just you and this endo? Have you found any of the others yet?"
Monty shakes his head, "No, I haven't seen any signs of Chica or Freddy since that night…"
Roxy rubs her arm, as Monty opens the door to the security office, beginning to rummage through it.
It wasn't long before he found it. "Alright I got it, now let's get out of here!" He says triumphantly.
"Um, hey Monty?" Roxanne asked. "Be honest, what do you think of-"
Roxy was interrupted by the sound of one of the bay garage doors being forced open. The loud creaking of the metal of the lock being torqued to the point of snapping.
"It's here!" Roxy shouted, putting her fists up towards the source of the noise.
"Forget it, we need to hide!" Monty grabbed her arm and began pulling Roxanne back towards the security office.
As they were entering the office, the garage door was thrown open, and right before he shut the door, he got a good look at what exactly it was that was terrorizing the pizzaplex.
It looked almost like freddy, but a darker brown. His shell was tattered and filled with holes, parts of its right ear were missing, and it's mouth was filled with teeth sharper than Monty's.
It's eyes were different too, they seemed to be nothing but two glowing orange pupils shining out of pitch black sockets. It didn't look like any animatronic Monty had ever seen, but it certainly wasn't human.
Slamming the door to the security office closed, Monty took a few steps back. "...What was that?"
"Why are you asking me?" Roxy Shrugged.
"I- It looked like a bear animatronic, but it wasn't Freddy…" Monty stammered.
"Do you think it saw us?" Roxy asked, a loud bang coming from the otherside of the door providing an adequate answer.
"I think we're going to have to fight it." Mony says, opening up the panel on his chest and putting the headset inside.
"Are you crazy? You can't fight that thing!" Roxanne said as Monty put his fists up.
"We don't have much of a choice at this point, open the door on my mark." He stood in front of the door as another loud bang hit the door.
"I hope you know what you are doing." Roxy said, getting ready to hit the button to raise the door.
"Heh, Don't worry about it… Now!" Monty commanded.
The door between him and the monster slid open…
