Evelyn's p.o.v.

My heart is beating faster than Usain Bolt can run. I turn around myself, trying to figure out where the hell I am. Panic takes over me the moment I realize that, I have no weapon by my side. Shit.

It's a hallway, similar to the ones in Hogwarts but I'm not at Hogwarts anymore, that's for sure. The hallway is spacious and dark, moonlight creeping in from arched shaped windows, illuminating the dark brick a little. Every now and then a breeze enters in, making the long, velvet drapes dance, flicking flames on burning candles. The room is calm and quiet but has a heavy and dark vibe.

"Hello? Were am I?", I ask outbound, looking around the room.

"There's no need to feel nervous. You, are safe here.", I hear a voice behind me.

"Who are you? Where am I?", I ask a tall, elf like man.

He takes a few slow steps towards me, "My name is Njal. We met long ago."

He's quite pale and has big, pointy ears. His eyes are crystal white with a black dot, placed in the center of his eyeball.

"Are you...a dark elf?", I carefully ask and he nods, "I am."

"What...what do you want from me?"

"Me? Nothing."

"Then why am I here?"

"He's ready.", I hear another voice enter the room.

My eyes focus on the familiar figure standing a few feet away from me.

"I know you!", I say, pointing my finger at me.

"You're the one that attacked us at Hogwarts!"

He smirks, "Hello Evelyn. It's nice to see you again."

"You almost killed me.", I say and his smirk turns into a smile, "Almost is the key word."

"Don't mind Ulf. He can be a little passive-aggressive at times. Come on, follow me.", the old elf tells.

"I'm not going anywhere with you.", I say, looking at him.

"You don't have a choice.", he speaks and Ulf pulls his sword out.

"We don't want any bloodshed to happen now, do we?", Njal speaks and Ulf smirks, "I wouldn't have any problem with that."

I raise my eyebrows, "You would attack me even if I'm unarmed? Some kind of worrier."

He lowly walks towards me, dragging the blade across the stone floor as he gets closer. Once close enough, he drops his sword and looks at me, "I have no problem with fist to fist combats."

Ulf, on the other hand isn't an elf. He looks just like me. It's hard for me to admit but he's vary handsome. Tall, black hair and blue eyes that can pierce trough anyones soul. His dress-up is tight and outlines every muscle on his torso.

I guess my eyes wondered up and down his body a bit too much, so he leans towards me and smirks, "How do Midgardians say? Make love, not war?"

I smile. Gotcha!

In a second, I clench my fist and hit him right in his pretty face. Be takes a few steps back, holding his bleeding nose.

"They also say think with your head, not your dick.", I comment, walking right pass him.

Unlucky for him, he underestimated me the moment he met me. Never do that with your enemy.

As I pass him, I feel him hand grab my arm, as I expected. He's the kind of person that never lets go. Before he can make his move, I grab his wrist with my other arm and turn it around, hitting his knee with my neg, making him fall down, moaning in pain.

"Don't ever touch me.", I whisper into his ear and proceed to walk towards Njal.

Realistically, I could take the old elf down but God know what kind of powers he has. And my friend Ulf still has his sword. It's not like I killed him, so fighting my way out of this is not an option.

"This way.", Njal tells and I follow him trough the door.

"Will you tell me where am I?", I say as we enter yet another hallway. Who the hell designed this place?

"Maradon castle.", he informs, but that doesn't say anything to me.

"Still doesn't answer my question.", I say, looking around.

"Svartalfheim. The home of Drak Elf's.", he explains.

"So Thor was right.", I conclude out loud.

"You sound disappointed.", he comments.

"Being the daughter of the person that wants to destroy Earth wasn't really my life dream."

"Blood can not be chosen. Rather, it's God given."

I stop walking and he turns towards me.

"If I'm from here, why don't I look like you?"

At this point, my curiosity is bigger than my will to fight.

"You used to."

I frown, "Used to?"

"When you where born into this world, you looked like any Dark Elf looks. Your mothers genes where fronting, so you had our features. After your mother died and we decided to send you to Midgard, I made a ritual, making you look like your father. Making you look like a Midgardian. It was crucial for you to adapt so you could live."

I look at my reflection in the window glass, "You changed the way I look?"

"Your survival was crucial.", he explains.

"Why?", I ask, touching my face.

"So you could carry on the legacy."

I frown and look at him, "I don't understand."

He smirks, "Follow me, and soon enough, everything will be clear to you."

The old man opens a big, lacquered-white, wooden door and I enter another spacious room, but this one has more light. Actually, too much light, if you ask me. It feels like I stepped from Hell into Heaven.

Is this the time when I meet... him?

I start to feel discomfort. What does he want? What is he doing to do to me? Talk? Fight? I'm unarmed, I don't stand a chance against him.

Anxious thoughts start piling up in my mind, making it hard for me not to overthink and keep my calmness.

"Just talk, no fighting.", I hear a soft, silky voice behind me so I turn around.

A tall, pale man, with long silver hair and icy-blue eyes is standing a few feet away from me. He looks young. Way too young to be my father.

He smirks, "I have good genes."

Wait... can he... can he read my mind?

He nods, "Yes, I can. It's the special bond we share but I would rather speak to you."

"Who are you?", I ask a pretty dumb question since the answer is obvious.

Now I understand why everyone calls him Silver.

"Ivar. Your father.", he speaks, taking a few steps towards me.

My first instinct is to move away but I fight the fear and almost burry my feet into the white tile flooring.

"My father is Howard Stark.", I say, having second guesses if my big mouth will do me any good in this situation.

"Rejection. I understand. It's not that I expect you to run into my arms and have a warm family reunion."

"What do you want from me?", I ask, not taking my eyes off of him.

"Business first. I like that. Howard raised you right. I want my daughter back.", he tells.

"You lost your daughter the moment you send her away."

I see a flash of pain in his eyes but within seconds, he brushes it off, "I am sorry for that."

"Apology not accepted."

"It takes time."

"I don't think so.", I argue.

He comes closer, "I know that you are hurt. I can feel it, trust me. I know that nothing I say can erase the years we've been apart but I would like you to give me a chance."

"A chance for what? I'm not stupid. You don't want a daughter, you're afraid that I will turn against you in this mess you created.", I say.

"Will you?", he asks, his voice serious.

This is a trick question.

"It's not. Quite a simple question with a simple answer. Yes or no."

Shit.

He smiles and turns around, "You don't have to answer it, I already know."

"This is not fair.", I say and he stops walking, turning around again, "What's not fair?"

"You reading my mind. We're not equal in this."

"Actually... we are. It's a different think that you don't know how to do it. Being on Midgard so long, your abilities have rusted."

I frown, "I-I don't understand."

"You are a daughter of an Asgardian and a Dark Elf queen. Your abilities are remarkable. Actually, would be remarkable if you stayed here."

"Can you please return me back? Whatever you want from me, you're not going to get. You can either return me or kill me because I'm not staying here alive.", I say.

"Return you where? To who? To a brother that let you down? Hurt you? Lied to you? You think he cares for you?", he asks.

"Yes he does!", I say immediately.

"Really? Is everything he did called love? Because nothing he did is an act of love."

"And what you did is?"

"Everything I did, I did it to protect you. Odin, would kill you if he found you."

"That's not true.", I disagree.

He tilt his head, "Really? Why don't you do me a favor and ask him, huh? Will you?"

I'm about to speak when everything around me goes dark again.

I open my eyes and see Severus and Thor hovering over me.

"What happened?", I ask, trying to get up.

"You lost your consciousness for a few seconds.", Thor informs me.

I frown, "A few seconds?"

"Yes, why? Did you see something, did something happen?", Severus asks.

"I... I spoke to Ivar.", I say, sitting up.

"Just as I thought.", Thor tells me.

"I have a feeling you know more than you're giving out.", I say, looking at him.

"Not me, I didn't really pay attention in school but Loki was a HUDGE nerd and he would know to explain to you, and us, what actually happened right now.", he informs me.

"Well, then let's go find him.", I say, getting up from the bed.

I need some answers and I need them NOW!
