The group reached Fazer blast, and as they slipped inside, Chica paused.
"Guys, I feel something… Off." She says as Roxy and Foxy look back.
"What, is your battery low or something?" Roxy asked, putting her hand on Chica's shoulder.
"No, it's just," Chica shakes her head. "Nevermind, let's keep going."
The trio pass through the lobby and enter the prep area. Foxy looks around and grabs a blaster for himself.
Roxy looks at him and raises an eyebrow. "What're you taking that for? We're not here to play games."
Foxy smirked as he fired the blaster at Roxy, causing her to flinch. "H-Hey, careful where you point that thing, it almost got in my eyes!"
Chica's face lights up as she grabs a blaster herself. "I get it! We can use them against those monsters!"
"Oh, right, that's a good idea actually." Roxy mumbles, sheepishly taking one for herself.
The three newly armed animatronics head out onto the arena, carefully scanning the area for any signs of danger.
"Hey, over there, I see someone!" Chica shouted, running off alone.
"Chica wait!" Roxanne shouted, beginning to run after her before coming to a halt at the sight of a large beastly looking fox monster hanging above the entryway Chica ran through.
The monster dropped down, as a familiar voice spoke out of the announcement system.
"Well well well, The fox and the Hound. Here to play a little game of tag?"
"That voice…" Roxy looked up to a viewing room for Fazer blast, and what she saw confirmed her suspicions. It was Gregory, although he was wearing a white hoodie and a paper plate mask fashioned to look like a rabbit.
"I just love a good game of tag myself. So why don't we start!" He exclaims, "My new friend here will be it."
The fox monster snarls as it begins circling the two animatronics. "I hope Chica stays safe." Roxy whispers to Foxy.
"I'll even give you a headstart, let's do 5 seconds." Gregory began gleefully counting as Foxy and Roxy exchanged panicked glances.
Roxy grabbed Foxy's arm and the two bolted out of sight of Gregory and the monster. "We've gotta find Chica and get out of here!" Roxy exclaimed.
"I know, I know!" Foxy said, catching up beside her. "We don't have a big oven to throw it in this time, so I think our best bet is to avoid it as much as possible."
Gregory finishes counting as the loud roar of the creature echoes around the arena.
Roxy continues looking around, getting more panicked by the second. "Where's Chica, I thought for sure we would have run into her by now!"
"I don't know… Maybe she left already?" Foxy suggested.
"No, she wouldn't leave us behind, I'm sure of that. I swear if that freak even laid a finger- Watch out!" Roxy shouts, pointing her blaster behind Foxy.
He turned around just in time to see the hulking nightmare version of himself lunge towards him, mangled mouth wide open, revealing rows of razor sharp teeth.
Roxy fired the blaster right at the beast's eyes, and as the laser impacted… It had no effect.
The monster bit down on Foxy's shoulder, immediately pulling him away from Roxy. It jumped over a green neon wall, escaping with Foxy in tow.
"Crap, this stupid thing didn't work!" Roxy said, throwing the blaster at the floor. "Hang on guys, I'm on my way."
Roxy began tailing the creature, using the sounds of Foxy struggling against it to track it.
After a few more turns, she peeked around a corner to see the monster spit out Foxy next to an unconscious and heavily broken Chica. The beast grabbed the fox's right arm, and began tearing it away. Foxy jabbed the creature's face with his free arm, which only caused the monster to throw Foxy on top of Chica.
Roxy rushed out and leaped at the beast. "Leave them alone!" She shouted.
Just as her foot impacted the side of the monster's maw, it let out a garbled screech. Grabbing onto Roxy's leg, it began to swing her around.
"L-Let go!" Roxy tried to kick the creature with her other foot, but it simply flung her into a wall.
"Gah!" Roxy's servos were jolted by the impact. As she stood up and tried to steady herself, the creature was already closing in again.
Thinking quickly, Roxy fell to the side as the creature slashed a large gash in the wall, missing her by only a few inches.
Roxy quickly rolled away from the creature, standing up and breaking into a sprint as it resumed its pursuit.
Roxy dodged and weaved through the arena, the nightmare only an arm's length away from her.
She wasn't sure how she was going to beat this monster, but she hoped that her efforts would at least allow her friends time to escape.
As Roxy turned another corner, her heart sank. She had navigated into a dead end.
Whipping back around, she turned to face the beast. It immediately lunged at her, and she met its attack with a swift kick.
The beast winced at her kick hit square on its face. It quickly retaliated with a claw swipe, Roxy put her arms up to block, and it nearly ripped them apart after only two strikes.
"Grah, my arms!" Roxy screams, falling back to avoid another blow. The beast snarled as it began to swoop in for the kill.
But just before it reached her, Gregory's voice stopped it in its tracks.
"Hey! We have a situation below ground. Get over there now!" He urgently shouted out.
The beast paused for a moment, processing the command before quickly leaping over the walls of the arena.
Roxy, a tad bit confused but certainly relieved, took a glance up to the viewing room. She was surprised to see that instead of Gregory holding the radio, it was Chica.
The heavily damaged chicken was holding the radio in one hand, the other wrapped around Foxy's shoulders. She was only able to stand thanks to him supporting her.
She smirked as the beast left, he had taken the command hook line and sinker. She dropped the radio and passed out immediately after. Foxy had to shift his stance to prevent her from falling over entirely.
Roxy quickly ran out of the arena and up to the room with the others. "Chica!" She shouted, taking her from Foxy and looking her up and down.
She was relieved to find that most of the damage she sustained was fixable. What she didn't quite understand was this dark red liquid that was all over her ripped open torso. Did the beast spit something on her?
Roxy hoisted Chica over her shoulder. Revenge on that monster would have to wait, they needed to get back to the repair station.
"Are you sure you're okay to carry her? Your arms-" Foxy started.
"I'll be fine, I've had worse scrapes on the raceway!" Roxy confidently stated, in truth her arms were badly damaged, so her shoulder was doing most of the work, but for her friend she would endure.
"Alright. Let's get back… And Roxy?"
"Yeah?" Roxy said, looking over at the Fox, who lightly put his damaged arm on her free shoulder.
"Thanks for saving us, you're the best." He said with a smile.
Roxy's tail began to wag uncontrollably as she couldn't stop smiling. It had been a while since she heard someone else say that to her.
The two headed back to the repair station, Foxy handling all the doors on the way there.
Monty snuck through gator golf, keeping an eye out for any threats. Still carrying Evan's body on his back, he really couldn't afford to get into a fight.
Originally he planned to meet back up with N at the recharge station outside of the Daycare, but upon reaching the Atrium, he saw the stairs were absolutely crawling with decrepit looking STAFF bots. He decided that the next best place would be in his home turf.
Monty reached the security office, and entered, placing Evan down near a security console. He tried to reach the connecting wires on his back, but his range of movement was just too short.
"Argh! I can't reach it!" He growled, continuing to struggle.
After a few minutes, he sighed in frustration. He couldn't separate himself from Evan's sleeping form without N, but he couldn't get the meeting spot without Evan possibly getting hurt.
After a few moments, Monty heard a small sound in the vent above him. He looked up to spy a small music man toy, it clapped its symbols at Monty.
Monty, curious as to what it was doing, opened the vent cover, causing the toy to drop down onto him and scurry down his back.
"Wha, hey! Hey!" Monty began to panic as he heard a connector being disconnected, until he noticed the toy scuttle over the console, plugging it in.
"Oh… Did N send you? Or was it the DJ?" Monty asked, as the toy moved back towards him.
Monty shrugged, as long as it was going to help, he turned his back and crouched down to make it easier for the toy to reach.
After a few minutes, Evan was successfully disconnected from Monty and plugged into the console. Monty thanked the toy, before cracking his knuckles.
"Now I can take out those STAFF bots no problem." He laughs.
He walks out of the security office, quickly hitting the door closing button on his way out. Evan would be safe there for a good while.
As Monty was making his way through the golf course, he felt he was being watched. After looking around, he spotted a pair of glowing eyes watching him from behind some plastic foliage.
Monty took a fighting stance. "I see you over there, come on out ya freak!" He shouted.
"Tsk tsk. That's not a very nice thing to say to an old friend Montgomery." The figure said. Monty's jaw dropped as Glamrock Freddy stepped out into the open. His eyes glowing a bright purple.
"Then again, I suppose we're not friends anymore. Not after what you did to Bonnie." He states coldly.
