His daring smile, his mischevious eyes…
His fiery red hair…
Namine loved everything about him.
She was always alone in that room, just sitting there, sketching. She felt so alone, so lost…And he was always there with her.
At first, she hated Axel. Who couldn't? I mean, he and the other members of the Organization stuck her in a white room with nothing else but pencils and sketchbooks. She hated that room; the room that locked her in. The room that prevented her from seeing Sora, Roxas, Riku, Kairi…everyone.
Until she met Axel. She was impressed by him, but she didn't let it show. Namine couldn't afford to. She watched him, though. He had forest-green eyes that were filled with mischeviousness, filled with a kind of spunk no one else in the Organization had. His fiery red hair always made her fascinated. It was like he really had fire for hair, like Hades…(only you could dump a bucket of water on Hades and he would freak. Axel, on the other hand, would probably just get pissed).
As she sat in that lonely room, all the time, Axel began to speak to her at times.
He told her about the outside world, and he grinned and showed her everything she was missing. He even stood up for her when Larxene was being a bitch.
The point being, Axel was growing close to Namine's heart.
As Namine looked down at her sketch, she brushed away her platinum blond hair and smiled. On the sketchbook was a vivid Axel, with his pretty green eyes and his admirable red hair. The shading on everything was miraculous as Namine closed her eyes, clutching the sketchbook to her heart.
"What have you got there, Namine?" someone asked as Namine looked up, startled.
"Another picture of Sora?" Axel teased.
"N-No…" she replied, beginning to close the sketchbook. Her face was flushed.
"Let me see, Namine," Axel said, tugging at the sketchbook as Namine clutched it even closer to her in response. "Namiiineee!" Axel whined. Finally, as he pried it from Namine, Axel flipped open the sketchbook. Namine grew quiet.
"…This is me." Namine blushed, nodding slightly. Finally, after what seemed like an eon, Axel smiled, bending down and giving Namine her sketchbook back as he helped her stand, grinning at her all the while. He bent down, his face near hers' as he smiled. "Good sketch, Namine." With that, Axel walked away.
"…Thanks…Axel."
